I promise not to use the dollar spray paint from Walmart. I tried it once and it didn't work well, but here they are, you can barely tell they were rainbow colored before, but If you're a wooden bead enthusiast like me, Amazon has a good deal, a thousand bees for sixteen dollars and that's what I'm using, but I'm using the same size as the dollar tree beads, by the way, because of the way they're attached. the description, then all you have to do is simply put your beads together. The only slightly tricky part of this DIY is getting the wicker ball to match a light, but after playing with a few patterns I discovered one too small, too big, too small. one bigger one, two smaller ones, then the wicker ball worked great and it worked on the dollar tree fairy lights and just a random pack of fairy lights I had around the house and these lights look really cool for at night used as string lights, they look really amazing. during the day it's just to refill a bowl, although I need to go back and add some extra wicker balls.

There is something to hide the batteries better, but these lights really shine at night, that's where they look amazing and I love so many things about this DIY. simple: nothing is hot glue or permanent so I can take this apart and reuse the pieces if I want, but this can be used here too. I can see it being used for Christmas for sure and we're onto the next one. All you need are two bath mats from Dollar Trees. These are 98% cotton. They all have a big crease in the middle. Some have a very funny smell and some don't, which is strange, but they are all machine washable, so throw them away. put them in the washing machine, throw them in the dryer, that will eliminate the unpleasant smell that half of them have and the crease that they all have.

There are a million and five ways to do this DIY, so hold on to your pants because you are about to have a lot of fun, all you have to do is simply cut the ends of your bath mat, you will have to peel off pieces, cut the small ones seams on those, you see what I'm saying there, you're going to do the same thing for your other bath mat, so you'll have four furry pieces in total because we cut the ends of both bath mats and cut the bath mats, but these They'll actually be our pillow, so that's what we'll call them the back. of our bath mat is now the front of our pillow, then we take our little furry strips, cut the smallest piece of hot glue and just press them down, of course you can sew, but you don't have to, they are just

ative .

You're not holding the pillow together, so you're going to take both sides of the pillow where this furry side is touching or they're facing inward, combine them as best you can. I mean, it doesn't have to be perfect and these bathroom mats were never cut perfect so everything will be fine in the end. I promise to tuck the ends under that we cut and use a full bottle of hot glue and a high temp glue gun and press down firmly, but don't touch them again. until it cools by the way I just use regular hot glue nothing special Walmart brand now let me show you these are real like manma jammas heavy duty really industrial style these are the seams and I'm pulling this as tight as possible strong as I can.
I'm not acting I'm not a good actor this is real life these are hard pillows in fact I've made some in the past and even thrown them in the washing machine and they're fine just don't throw them in the dryer on high heat so they the two ends that are still open we are not hot gluing them by the way all you need to do is cut the corners so they are not so thick and now we have a few options: one you can use dollar tree thread or you can use thread from dollar trees, the threads are harder to find and sell random colors, just use something that is fairly thick and sturdy, but thin enough that you can thread it through a larger tapestry needle or sewing needle For the hair. which you can get at Dollar Tree or Walmart, so you'll see there's a little seam right there.
We'll use it as a guide to try to make the seam as straight as possible, but it doesn't have to be perfect. I'm not going to lie to myself putting the needle through the first part where the two fabrics are very thick, it's a little difficult, but after that, we'll sail along smoothly, there won't be any problems and then we just tie it and knot it, now let's go to make a blanket stitch. and I actually learned what this is called a few months ago, so thanks to everyone who commented on that in the comments and to do this, all you have to do is take your needle, press it up through the bottom fabric, through the top fabric, tighten it. until you have a little loop, pass it through the loop and that's all you're going to do, that's right, from the bottom to the top, through the loop and you repeat it over and over, no changes, that's it and it really happens. very fast, especially after getting through the first part of taking it out for the first time and that's it and it doesn't have to be perfect, it's handmade so look, it gives it a unique flavor, if it's not perfect it still looks amazing . now you can stuff your pillow with whatever you have on hand, you know, if you have an old pillow, old clothes, old stuffed animals, but just so you know, Dollar General has great value pillows for two dollars, a value pillow will fill two of our cushions. your pillow and then I will do a blanket seam on the other side up and that's it my friend how cute is this pillow.
I promise you it looks amazing in person, just like it does on camera, if you know what I mean. I love it. As it turned out now, another option is that you can make a lumbar pillow and we are going to go over this. You can also cut the corners first instead of cutting them after using hot glue. You haven't decided which is the easiest way yet. I have tried it both ways for the lumbar pillow, you are not cutting the ends, all you do is fold the ends under the boat, load a hot glue, let it cool and then you can sew the ends and leave it as is or you can sew. the ends and then I added some tassels and I actually made a very similar pillow in another video with this style and I added some tassels and if you want to see that I will have it linked below, they make different stop matze that give you a different pattern on the part Later and I'm going to show one more thing about pillows and they continued if you want to embellish or decorate your pillows a basic stitch is where you just take the thread and pull it through the fabric like that's it, there's nothing to tie of course , you tie the ends, do that and then if you have thicker thread you can use thinner thread, but I think thicker thread looks great, just wrap it around the thread, that's like you haven't tied anything once further. tie it at the beginning and that's what creates a really cool texture.
By the way, this was my practice texture pillow and I just practiced it in different ways. I'm sure there's a name for it, like wrapping thread around the basic stitch, but I can't imagine I'm the first person to invent it, but it looks really cool and these are amazing pillows, like I said. I've made about five of these so far. I threw them in the washing machine, they washed very well. hot glue doesn't melt even outside guys I live in Texas it's going to be really hot and hey you know I'll be back with you mid August but I'm sure everything will be fine and we're on to the next one all you need They are two classic rugs and I promise we won't make pillows.
Two rugs from the Dollar Tree. Try to get two colors that are more or less the same and then use basic masking tape to reattach them. They are the thickest doormats, not the ones that are really thin and flimsy, they are harder to fold, you can also use hot glue with tape if you want, but it's not totally necessary. I did this to a rug in November and it's been on my door ever since, it holds together well, then some basic painter's tape and this can be found at Dollar Tree, and I'm using Dollar Tree brand painter's tape .
I have all eight with some stripes and no measuring because they are quick and easy. DIY doesn't measure perfectly and in my opinion it doesn't matter, but you can measure if you want, then you just need some spray paint and you can't. I am using oxide-oleum. Spray paint costs between 350 and 450 and can be found at Walmart Dollar General with a full coverage coat, but you can use Walmart dollar spray paint for this DIY. It works the same, you may have to do two or three or four coats, then I reuse my tape, my painter's tape because I'm

cheap

and why not, it still works, I just stuck it in the opposite direction once again, just looking at it until the background, the same thing came back and I spray painted it, by the way, you can definitely use a roller or a brush or another type of paint with this.
I just like spray paint because it's quick, it's the easiest for me to do, and I think it stays on really well, like I said. I did this on another door mat and it stuck. really good, I mean, think about it, have you ever had spray paint on your clothes? It doesn't really come out, so this cotton twine is from Dollar Tree, it's in the auto section. I really have no idea what the point is to wrap it around my hand about ten times maybe twelve did that for a total of 32 but 16 for each side because we are making tassels for our rug and that's all you have to do, wrap it , tie it like a ghost and cut the end to attach the tassel to the rug, the best solution I could think of, but hey, really, I'm open to correction and other

ideas

, so help me.
The best thing I could think of to use was fishing line. I don't know where I got it from. I've had it forever so I ran the fishing line through the rug using the same large tapestry needle, tied it off, added a tassel and then moved on so I didn't cut it every time, I just went around it twice and continued . on my carpet, I imagine the fishing line is weather resistant. I know it's waterproof and sturdy and then it's clear so you can't see it and it looks great but I'm not sure if there would be another way to do it.
It would be better to attach this, so if there are better ways and you know, please comment and let us know now. I want to say on the other hand that this is the first time I'm doing this, by the way, all of you on the other side. I didn't cut the tassels first, I just put the loops through the fishing line and then went back and made the ghost's head and cut the ends off after sewing it with the fishing line, you feel what I'm saying there. and I actually feel like it turned out to look better, it wasn't easier or harder, but in my personal opinion it did look better, that's the side on the right and there you have it, a super cute mat, now you can combine it with other layers .
A basic dollar tree, welcome Matt, or any doormat you already have or on its own, and it could look good indoors too and for the next one all you need is one of the dollar tree trash baskets. They are larger plastic, come in many different colors and that's fine. so I don't know what's up with Dollar Tree, but they're back down and they like nine point five pieces of rope, so you need nine point five pieces of rope or six of the thirteen feet of rope, but I found some very comparable ones . This is actually not a dollar tree rope from Amazon and you get 300 feet for eighteen dollars which is a great deal and just to give you an idea you would have to buy like twenty three packs of thirteen foot rope or thirty and one like thirty-two.
Technically pack the rope nine feet to get the same amount and this costs only eighteen dollars, so just start wrapping the rope around your basket, but don't go all the way up, stop about three or four inches from the top Yes, closer to two. and a half three inches I'm not good at measuring, cut that out, the main thing is to make sure you use a lot of hot glue at the beginning and the end, not so much in the middle. Now Dollar General sells this cotton drying rack for four dollars. hundred feet, so 25 feet per dollar and that's what we're using, but I want to tell you that my sweet friend Sarah Jane from chic onthe

cheap

sends me this photo that Dollar Tree sells white poly rope, so it's plastic, you get 25 feet, but it's the same price so there's only one other option.
I like the way the cotton clothesline looks better and you do it the same way we did the rope, just wrap it, hot glue it and then cut it all the way around our scraps. basket which is now our flower pot because these trash baskets have no drainage in the bottom and I am using this as a real flower pot with real live plants. All I did was take my hot glue gun and poke holes in the bottom once it was melted. Enough, I don't know, probably not the best thing to do with the hot glue gun, but it worked well, you can definitely heat up a knife and just stab holes or this works to do it however you want, be super creative.
I wrapped two of these little Dollar Tree planters exactly the same way, the only difference is that they have holes that can be made in the bottom to prevent them from being super repetitive. I know I wrapped it exactly the same way with the same materials and this is how much rope I have left, so this gave me one of the large trash cans, two small flower pots and this is how much clothesline I have left. Oh, and by the way. I actually used that rope before this video to wrap around a different bin and use it as a different planner on the outside, so you get a lot out of it and I love the look of these planners.
I think they look very sophisticated. I like the way the cotton clothesline looks. On top I've done things like this where I spray painted the rope and I like this look a lot better. Lastly, we're super simple but we're not being super repetitive here. All I know is that I picked up this planner from Dollar Tree plus clothesline. and I just wrapped the planner with string using hot glue, that's what I did, the only difference was I wrapped the bottom of the pot because it will be a hanging pot after that is said and done. I picked up these plant hangers.
In fact, I have two. and I bought them complete for indoors, but I really like how they look outside in the summer. The orange color reminded me of fall, but I think it looks great for summer, especially with the white rope, and that's probably the easiest DIY of all. yes, I have a real plant here, but it waters itself, it has a little drainage and it's doing great, it's thriving, it lives well and that's it. Thank you very much for taking care of my friend. I'll see you next time and as promised. from right to left or videos that I have referenced in this video.
I love you and I'll see you next week.
