I think this is a winner. I only need two, so I may as well make them look great with paint however I want. At IKEA I have a million of these sheepskins because you can use them for anything, throw them on the back of chairs, use them as rugs, oh okay let's go, oh I found it, this is the spice rack, I think if I can find it some. Kind of like hooks that I could put up here so Carla could put her wallet and her keys up here and then hang her jackets on the shopping bag and during dream land literally all the beds so I'm looking for something that be close to the floor I want it to feel like a sofa but also like a bed.

I feel like this is very Carla, it's minimalist. You have a nice headboard, but it is not overbearing. It is close to the ground. Yes. Oh, guys, there are cat curtains I can have. To change my design plan too much, these are like the standard white curtains and I'm thinking I could cut them down a bit and put some sort of tassel on the side. I was going to say pompoms, but I won. We won't go that far, it's okay, we're almost done. I love these little globe lights, this would look great in her little corner.

Okay, I'm going to grab one of these, I'm sure this pendant lamp is my favorite. I really think its size goes to Carla's Work at Home because it's so small and it needs some kind of focal point, it needs a striking light. Now I use this in the mud room turned spruced up office, but again I like to have my statement. IKEA goat cheese, okay, I don't know how. I'm going to carry all this but I'm going to try, oh okay, this is like we work all year long, well let's go get ice cream, whatever we're back at Carla's, I need to start by making the bed , the goal in a studio apartment is to make your bed blend seamlessly with the rest of the space so it feels like one big living room.
With that in mind, Carla's new bed will double as a couch when you have guests over for the purposes of this arrangement. I'm going to leave the bed on the final price and show you how to make the one you already own work in a small space like a studio apartment. Prop your regular sleeping pillows against the edge of the bed and then layer plenty of pillows. to fill in your sleeping area Carla already had this shelf from Ikea which was great because we didn't have to buy a new one, it fits perfectly in this space between her bed and the entryway meaning her sleeping area is easily hidden, OK?
This is my favorite part of styling, she has these really cool boxes that act as a great storage place for things like hats and she starts when you buy a small space. Belongings can work as decoration, like cameras, lots of plants, books, record anything that really shows your personality. personality and at the same time fill the space. I'm designing the shelf to look good from both sides, which is key when everything is on display. Look how with a shelf I have created a division in an open room now for light, its texture really warms. It increases the space and also makes this room feel more like a living room than a large bedroom.
Carlos just got this little wall to work on in this entryway, so I really need to maximize the space by using that spice rack I bought at IKEA. I'm going to make a DIY entryway organizer. The first thing is to put some paint. I opted for any old white Sloan's, it's one of my classic favorites. So you want to drill some holes and add some rules. I had these left over from previous crimps, the pump cables. and find them at any

home

decor store and there are so many options, it's that easy because I already had most of the supplies.
This only cost me $9 to make, can you believe it? It's a bargain and here's this cute bench on the wall. It's a place for Carlos to put on his shoes or drop his bag when he walks through the door. I love this antique mirror he had in his bedroom. It looks so good against the brick and a nice piece of art never hurts. These white curtains make a big big difference, they really brighten Carlos's space and to make them even more fun I just added some inexpensive craft tassels. Karla's old table fits perfectly in this corner because it is round and round tables tend to feel much more perfect in open spaces like this.
Cheers, I went back to using a little chalk paint because honestly, it's great for these types of projects. This time I'm using a lot more color to really make them stand out. Obviously I can't hang another pendant, but this area really needs something to light it up, so I'll use this mirror from IKEA and try to turn it into a wall lamp. What you need is this accordion shaped part of the mirror, spray painted gold or any color you want, then add a quarter inch. hex nut and screw it to the top of the accordion arms this literally cost me 10 cents at the hardware store this applique for $13 on amazon you want to keep these pieces of hardware and spray paint the cooled applique a primer is key to stopping the smeared paint I found the easiest way to get a spill-free finish was to simply spray the sconce from afar, eventually you want to let it dry and assemble your new light fixture.
I was going to wallpaper this little niche, but that's expensive and time-consuming, so I found this amazing heart-shaped wall decal that adds the same impact at first. It was a little tricky, but with an extra pair of hands it was very easy to set up Carlos's turntable and the speakers are here and I added some lights. and a cozy sheepskin to make it feel more

home

ly and now for some finishing touches to tie it all together, this IKEA stool acts as a side table as well as extra seating, finally, a downloadable piece of art from Etsy that basically didn't cost me nothing.
I am very excited. With how the space is now, Karla is finally fed and with some cushions it also doubles as a sofa. We can talk about the shelf that totally separates the space and means that Carla has a small entrance and this heart decal. Wow, what an impact it makes right when you walk in the door and there you have it, the coziest studio apartment ever, all for under $500. Thank you so much for taking care of the house.
