So what happened is they were doing the um, what's the name of the competition? I had seen it and it was like Kenisha Bus ten percent, man, hey. It just wasn't, you were a funny girl, you could laugh a little. but it was your thing, the crazy part is I used to be at the comedy store in Seattle. I'm from Seattle, Washington. I'm coming, someone hired me. So what happened was my boyfriend at the time used to work for the comedy store. So it would be like picking up people at the airport. I love to laugh. I grew up watching comedy. I've always loved it. I never thought I could be a

, but I loved the environment. So, my boyfriend at the time was very funny.

I started managing him and one day we went to the iconic underground comedy theater in Seattle and he said, "I dare you to go up and if you dare me to do something, which I'm doing, I can go up." that's a no, hey, he got me in a lot of trouble and um, so, um, he was fine because you're going up in 20 minutes, so I'm fine, so I wrote and you only have three minutes the first time, but I'm like in my three minutes and I woke up and fell in love, it was a rush. I've never felt like I've always been on stage.

It's me opening up and saying, oh, this is okay, the cookbook is basically a beginner's guide to veganism because a lot of people still want to eat well, so I'm making things like peppers, enchiladas, everything you can imagine. and I do a show on Instagram so you can watch it, but the book is coming out soon.

How was it? My first experience was in the early '90s. You know, I've come a long way because honestly, guys, I got into this comedy thing from there, you know, I got into this to make myself. Don't be so afraid of speaking in front of people.
