your

concerns... So let's get to it! This week I'm getting a

squishy

makeover

! A good old fashioned

makeover

, no challenges, no scandals... Just good regular content. So, let's meet this week's victims, shall we? By popular request, the gorilla with creepy fingers. Or monkey? I don't know. It is pink. It's hard to count. Wow... Very interesting,

your

fingers. Many people commented that they wanted this one to be revamped, specifically to see it turned into a sloth. A sloth? We'll see how that goes. The next option is this one, which I'm excited about because: AAAAYYY!

It's a planet. And the last softie is this torn taco. Whiiiiiiiiiich......Not many people requested it. But I really wanted to do it. HEH So, those are this week's victims. Now it's time to TOAST SQUISHY. Starting with the creepy monkey. Not a gorilla. I still feel the need to pull his ears. I do not know why. His fingers bother me. I think it's like they're not connected anymore? Are they like floating fingers? Or maybe it's the color? Why do they still use this fleshy pink for animals? It makes them look like they have been shaved. We have a crooked smile, demon eyes, tears, rough edges, some marble, look, dirt, what appears to be a trail of blood... leading straight to his ear... *shotgun sounds* I think I've Been watching too many crime shows.

Oh, look, we agree. So, it's a disaster. I'm going to start sanding it. safety first. I can't breathe. I bought this small sanding block to make it easier to do this, but it wasn't thick enough to do much. So, we have to bring out the big guns. (This old guy played one) I actually want to TEAR the foam and create a lot of texture for the paint to stick to. Here we go. This will be my last slap on the wrist, because they're leaving. That's right, cover those eyes. And there goes the other one. I'm holding your ears.

Then I'll just trim the area to flatten it out. I AM turning this into a sloth, just for you because you wanted me to, so GOOD. Actually, I think it's a very good idea. So, thanks for that. Here it comes... Very good. And I'm just taking the opportunity to trim all the messy edges and exposed an air pocket along the way. Oh honey! Also, this queue? That's not for a lazy person. I found another hole under his tail. And again, I do my best to make all of that smooth out as much as possible. Now, I have to deal with this.

So I'll fill it with a little piece of foam, trim it to size, and then cover the hole with some random, slippery fabric paint to seal it nice and secure. Oh yes, very sure. Okay, do it for real this time and smooth out the missing tail. Also the ears... well, the lack of ears. Well, they're just, you know, hidden. ew And I always have to apply several coats like this to build up the paint and get things nice and smooth. Okay, here's our new shape. What a nasty rash you have there. So I mixed some brown, white, and yellow fabric paint to create this custom color.
I call it... Laziness. But yes, I am increasing the layers until the color is completely opaque: OPAQUE. Sometimes I say "opaque" and it kind of makes me die inside. (opaque, opaque, opaque, opaque, opaque, opaque...) So I'm sorry. Anyway, it's opaque and looks... Pretty good. There's one thing I forgot: the nose sticks out and then there are these details around the face. So, I do it again with the scissors, the violence, and then the patches and filling with slick paint. Well, we finally get rid of the rest of this, fleshy pink, and look at that. Those fingers already look a lot less creepy, so that's good.
Wow. So now I'll move on to painting the details. I'm going to go in with a light tan to create the little face, a nice widow's peak there. And you know what, in honor of the sloth... I'm going to go ahead and slow this down nice and slow. Not rush. Okay, now let's get back to speed. Now, I'm going to create the sloth's signature eye mask. I don't know if I've ever painted or drawn a sloth in my life. Wait, I need to make more sloths. But now I realize that I should have made the mask more curved.
It's a little too straight. I'm getting like I'm getting raccoon vibes, but that's okay. So, this is where I faced...heh, I faced some difficulties. No problem. Let's try again. Did you know? No no no. Ehhh. Umm... Okay, you know I'm going to start over? That... is somehow worse? That doesn't look good... So, believe it or not, I kept fighting with this, until I had enough. It's clear he doesn't want to smile. He's seriously lazy. So that's it. I'm going to retouch the entire face, add some pretty eyebrows, and start with the nails. Later, I tried making them a little more pointy to make them look more like sloth claws.
At the last minute, I decided to add some fur details, because you know sloths are messy and furry, and this guy looked too soft. I'm adding some highlights to his eyes. Final detail, I am going to sign the bottom part with my initials. This is something I'm trying to do again. I used to do this a long time ago. ""It's just an 'I'. with a little heart, 'm.e.' means Moriah Elizabeth."" And she's back. Here's the soft ending. I hope you like this, because I made it for you. Do you like what I made for you?
You better. It's okay if you don't, you know, I have to give them credit. It was a good idea. He's more of a very severe raccoon-like sloth bear, but I'm still pretty happy with him, believe it or not. P i n c h I think the creepy finger thing has been resolved, for the most part. He's not the life of the party or anything, he's not in the mood for jokes or joy. Most of the time he just looks into the distance... Yes. Let's move on to the planet. The idea is really cute, but I think the design could use something.
The stars are looking a little lumpy and it doesn't help that they are peeling and tearing everywhere... But nothing I haven't seen before. Also, that air bubble is bad. So, let's save the planet. First step, make holes. Perfect. Now I'm going to go ahead and remove those stars. They were just getting in the way. But I'll stick with these. They can look cute on something else. This is where I keep all my usable soft parts that I cut off and save for later. Now I'm just using my mini scissors, aren't they cute? Watch them go! To trim out the rough areas and you know, several holes were created in the process, including the giant air pocket...ew.
I'm going to stick some foam in there to fill the hole and now I'm going to open this bottle of paint... Literally. And here we go. I keep building and building until I have a smooth surface. I feel like this looks better than before. This time I'm not even being sarcastic. In fact, I think it looks great like this and now I'm going to get my nice palate clean. Now I'm being sarcastic. Apparently I thought it was acceptable to leave my palette like this- Come on. I'll use some matte white fabric paint and paint the entire

squishy

to create a base coat, since the original colors on the squishy are actually darker than the ones I'll use on top.
So, base layer... Okay, now that that's done, I'm going to start styling it. Starting with a beautiful sky blue and then adding a darker blue and a pink to the mix, you know, trying to make them get along. But after a lot of combining and back and forth, I finally got it the way I wanted. I probably could have left it at that, honestly, but I'm going to take this a hundred steps further. So, AHEM How do I explain this idea? Um... I want to put a landscape on the planet... I guess it's not that hard to explain.
So I'm painting the mountains right now. I know this seems crazy. Just wait. DON'T leave.. Did you leave me? Now I'm painting some little clouds, nice and fluffy. And the sun. That doesn't make any sense. I'm taking the time to add shadows and details to each and every little mountain. I actually wanted to paint something like a landscape, or just something really detailed, like doing a proper painting on a soft, you know. ? No. So when I saw the planet I said yes. No. Okay, so the top is ready. Do you like it? Now, I'm going to turn this around and get to work on the bottom, and we'll start with the same blue and the same darker blue.
But not there. Oh... That's not what I was supposed to do... What have I done? Darker blue surrounds the ring and then GREEN on top or actually bottom. Yeah, okay, that'll do it. Now I'm adding yellow to the background, like sand, see? You will see? Do you see what I'm doing here? So the top half is the sky, the bottom half is under the sea. Now I'm going to add some things from the sea. Oh! Suddenly, there's like a Ziploc bag that appeared out of nowhere. That was weird. Yeah. Anyway, I'm adding seaweed, coral starfish, and of course I'm using the exact same colors down here as I did up top, so even though they're completely different designs, they still feel connected by some special bond called color.
Now, I'm not going to be realist, OBVIOUSLY, because this is a huge failure for realism. But I do want it to have some kind of dimension, or at least look detailed. Pop some bubbles there... Well, not really, it doesn't pop. You just have to put it. Very good, but what about this big white ring? What do I do with that? As you can see from this very detailed and skillfully done sketch, I had no idea. So basically I took the dark blue below and mixed it with a light blue, and then I took the green above and mixed it with yellow and then added pink somewhere in the middle.
This was starting to seem a little excessive, but I keep going, and going, and going, and mixing and mixing. Wow, that's annoying... I finally decided on this. I removed the green from the yellow. Here goes my little signature, and here it is. I am VERY happy with this one. I was a little nervous about making this, I ALMOST changed my mind at the last minute and decided to do something simpler, but this has to be one of my all-time favorite

squishies

. I'm not trying to exaggerate, and I understand that you hate it, but I'm very happy with it.
We have the sky and the earth, then the sea and the sand... and I'm rhyming. It looks a little strange when you look at it from above. As I said, I like it. This design is out of this world. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. ha... Finally, I'm going to work on this popped taco. I don't know how this happened. Maybe a dog, or a very hungry child. Don't eat soft children. The filling is interesting. It looks more like worms. So, let's get to work. Now, piece number one is missing. Hmm. I'm going to make a bite mark!
So here I go, chopping away trying to shape a bite mark into something convincing... And it wasn't going very well, but in the end I got it to look, you know, decent. That's not a word! THAT?! Now to finish, I'm pulling out my spares box and just looking for something to add to this cue. I found these strawberries. In fact, I'll keep them because they may come in handy at some point. I have so much wisdom. Plus, I have hoarding tendencies. And also this spoonful of whipped cream. So I'm going to trim out the rough area so I can place the new pieces in there nice and cozy.
And I have my new bottle of fabric glue... Yes, it's fresh. Put that dollop of whipped cream on it, put a rubber band on it to dry and there it is. and then I just stick those extra strawberries in there too. Perfect now to use some puffy paint to fill those cracks and seal those little bits in there forever. And since we have exposed the soft meat. I'm going to put some thick layers of paint... No, thick layers of paint to fill in all the little holes. Now, strawberries and whipped cream in a taco? Well, this is no longer a normal taco.
It's 'clearly' a desert taco. Well, it will be clear. I'm pretty sure this exists. I've seen versions of this somewhere. Basically, the shell is a waffle cone and the inside is filled with ice cream. So here I go painting the shell, but it looked too pale. So I ended up darkening it. Sudden color change. Do not be alarmed! I'm going to start painting the ice cream there starting with the chocolate. The only problem is that there isn't really an ice cream texture here, but we'll try to work with it and see what happens. Paint can work wonders.
You know, I mean, if you take a bunch of worms, throw some paint in there, BAM. You have ice cream. Try it. What I'm talking about? I'm going with a Neapolitan theme, because there's plenty of room for everyone to fit in now that I'm starting waffle lines, which are always very exciting and interesting... it's boring. I spent forever trying to create perfect, even, straight lines that you might as well give up on and magically ended up with this. The other side is also done; there must be some editing. Okay, I'm going to go back to the top to handle that whipped cream and the little strawberries giving them all kinds of delicious looking, delicious looking, delicious looking.
Am I the only one who hates the word "delicious"? What kind of word is that? we return topaint baby hair out of control. And that would be the cable for my headphones. Why am I distracted by everything that is not soft? Okay, okay... now I'm going to go into some small details by adding a few drops to the ice cream to make it more convincing...? Stop thinking about worms. Worms. What's mine?worms? Now, let's bring this to life. So I'm painting a nice chocolate border to make it look like the cone has been dipped. Ok, I can see this, but do you know what it needs?
AHA? Yes effectively. Enjoy (sprinkling song plays). I'm going to interrupt this sprinkling song to bring you more chocolate. I decided I wanted the chocolate to be a little thicker. There was a victim who drowned in chocolate... I mean, as far as ways forward, you know, it's not the worst to shoot again (Sprinkle song continues). Wasn't that interesting? I feel a little like this side is a little easy. Then- *PFFFFF* I failed. Well wait. Not quite. I smoothed it out a little and you know what? It doesn't look so bad. Here's my signature, three by three now.
And here's the final makeover. I like it a lot more than before, not that I have anything against regular tacos, you know? You all are great, but when it comes to sprinkles, I'm always on board. I think it really looks appetizing, it's just a nice, big, chunky taco. I want to eat it. I'm just going to town crushing this thing. I crush the strawberries like ten times. Well, that's all for today. I really enjoyed the squishes I made this time, although it literally took me four days straight painting them! I put a lot of effort into the details and tried to make them the best I could.
So thank you very much for watching and I'll see you next Friday. Bye bye!
