Sniper Rifle/TNT Artillery Cannon! - Minecraft Tutorial

May 29, 2021
Hello and welcome, my name is Mr. QB. In this episode we have something very interesting and exciting. We will learn how to build an

artillery

cannon

ourselves with a lot of destructive potential to achieve the destructive potential for which this design was designed. We can not. be strict with its ammo, you'll need a lot of TNT, so be careful if you're thinking about building this in survival mode, so let's take a closer look at what it can do and flex its power before we build one for ourselves here. I've set the

cannon

to a super flat world for a quick test.

This thing has the potential to shoot incredibly much further than we can see with the render distance, which is where the shots get the name

sniper

, however when they hit the surface they can leave minor damage or can design its own ravines depending on some creative decisions, it can be quite wild and reckless, that's where the

artillery

cannon also gets into the name. To begin my little test, I decide to fire 20 shots. and compile the results, the shortest distance he managed to damage the ground was 139 blocks from the canyon, nothing surprising there, however, following the line on the ground I made earlier, he appears to have shot 1,194 blocks from the canyon.

More Interesting Facts About,

sniper rifle tnt artillery cannon minecraft tutorial...

I flew at a predetermined creative flight speed that would take you 1 minute and 40 seconds to fly. Of the 20 shots that were taken, between 20 and 30% of them landed between 140 and 200 blocks. I found this to be the larger Hotpot of the pair. I found that by collecting all the distances from the 20 shots, including the additional ones that landed repeatedly on the hot spots, the cannon averaged an estimated shooting distance of 500 blocks, which is pretty good stuff and this is all a result of the 20 shots I fired if you were to do the same, you could end up with even higher numbers, but its potential is multiplied if the cannon is somewhere high, like a mountain, or on stilts, which significantly increases the likely shooting distance when it is high up, like this demo here, instead of sitting on the ground, you'll notice that the TNT fired will bounce off the surface creating a much wider and more destructive explosion, so now that we know the killer potential this baste has, Let's go ahead and build one for ourselves.

I urge you to look at this as closely as possible.

tutorial

and follow each step very carefully or your cannon could be at risk of some problems. For the purpose of this

tutorial

, I will primarily use three wall blocks to build a cannon, all of different colors to represent each part of the design. To make it clear and easier to follow, feel free to substitute these blocks with a different block when you build it, but I'll touch on the yarn colors first during the tutorial. Create a platform 13 blocks wide and 24 blocks long. Cannon will be located on this platform so you can have the platform anywhere you want, such as somewhere high up if you want to increase the Cannon's range distance with a white wall.

Mark a spot in the center of the platform one block from the back. I place a button behind it, as this will be where the cannon will activate to fire it. With a purple wall, I begin to mark positions on the platform where the Redstone work will be located and a straight row of 10 purple blocks on the sides of the platform as then, three blocks from the white wall in the center make another row of two purple blocks, then do the same on the other side and then mark three more blocks here near the sides to start the cannon body using white wool. continue adding more of the Cannon Body with white wool this long part here will be the barrel stretch it until you reach the end of the platform now we will be adding to the Cannon Body with dispensers follow exactly how I place them To make sure they are also oriented the same so I, when you put the dispensers on top of each other, you're going to have to hold down the shift key here, starting with two blocks on either side of the cannon that we're going to.
To make the second set of dispensers, that's it for the dispensers, make sure they are all facing inwards towards the inner region of the barrel. Now to get started with the Redstone, follow how I lay out the circuit. Place a comparator in this same place. Place it here and then slide it around to make sure it's oriented the same way I have it. Do the same for the other side and this design should be perfectly symmetrical. Add some more Redstone in these locations. Now make a line of seven. the repeaters on the sides make sure they are facing up towards the comparator set all the repeaters on the sides of the platform with a full delay by clicking on each one three times let's add some more repeaters Behind these dispensers make sure these repeaters are in front of the dispensers in front of them now we are going to add the last part of the cannon body.
Oh, keep adding the Redstone and the Redstone repeaters. Make sure these repeaters are also facing the dispensers in front of them. Do the same for the other side and almost done inside the barrel of the cannon, place it on 13 slabs like this and then at the end place some water at the bottom, your cannon is now complete and ready to be filled with your ammunition load . fill each dispenser with at least one stack of TNT, the more TNT you put in now, the less you will have to keep reloading the cannon later for the purpose of the tutorial.
I'll just put a stack in each dispenser once you've made your Cannon ready to fire, go ahead and press the button on the back to launch the TNT and watch the cannon work its magic. Many thanks to one of my Lords of the Builder kingdom for the design of this incredible creation and I thank you. for coming and watching this video tutorial, if you found it useful I would really appreciate it if you could rate the video as it would be a great help until next time, bye guys.
