So what will happen is when you reboot your system. if you have that little button check right there that says windows start button if you have some stupid setting like plus 1000 in the kernel which i don't think you can do anyway but if you have it selected as soon as windows loads it If you can't access the desktop because it crashes before you get there, then all you have to do is force yourself to boot into safe mode, remove MSI Afterburner and then you can reboot the system and you'll be fine, so we'll do it right.
Now we're going to click on this little gear that's going to take us to our menu settings and then we're just going to go ahead and click on unlock voltage control, unlock voltage monitoringand force a constant voltage which will have no effect. Unfortunately, it's not much of an effort. You can save these things to msi afterburner and they could start every time you boot. Windows is running all the time, but since we were brave around here and we like to go for broke, we're going to move these sliders so that the central vault core voltage moves up to one hundred percent. I'm going to make it plus 100. in the core which now allows you to go up 100 megahertz. I've never had an Nvidia card that didn't do a hundred plus 100 and then for memory clock, believe it or not, it generally has a bigger impact on performance than core clock. so we're going to do more 500 on this particular card because I know the memory used on the Founders edition cards can handle it again.
Your mileage will vary, so plus 100 on core plus 500 on memory and a 400 point increase and an actual measurable increase in FPS because we were willing to move the center slider and memory on point. This is the one I have the most fun with and obviously this has the biggest improvement.
