Sega's Answer To Resident Evil | Deep Fear (SAT)

I'm going to be as lazy as contemporary critics and say that this game is just a Resident Evil clone. System Sacom   and Sega were striving for something different here with the underwater setting and oxygen mechanics, but they just didn't go far enough with these things to make it stand up. Deep Fear is a curiosity worth exploring on Saturn, but it's not the rival to Capcom's survival horror masterpiece that I'm sure Sega hoped it would be. I don't know. I don't think I want to play it again. Whereas I could boot up the first Resident Evil and probably play it all in one go.
