galaxy

a12, which has improved battery, improved RAM, bigger screen, better camera system, there are also other advantages which we will talk about below. throughout the video, but let's go ahead and look at the galaxy a12. This phone comes in four different color options, we have white. this color black here red and blue very excited to see this one at the top we have our phone put aside for a second in the box here I have a pair of headphones here these are the cheapest headphones that Samsung offers and any of their phones , but it's nice that they offer them we have a type c to write a charging cable we have a 15 watt fast charging brick great to see a charger in the box we have a SIM eject tool very cool, the star of the show here 6, 5 inch display quad camera setup fingerprint sensor on the side I love this, we will go into more details about that later well now let's go ahead and take a look at the galaxy a12 wow, I already love the look, the feel of the design of the galaxy a12 Compared to the Galaxy A11, this A11 is okay, but it has a glossy finish.

More Interesting Facts About,

samsung galaxy a12 unboxing first impressions...

The A12 has a matte finish. It also has this cool ridged design here, very nice and has a nice solid feel to it. It doesn't feel like that. It will fall out of your hand, this gives you a little more grip on the back. Here you see, we have a quad camera setup as opposed to the triple lens setup here on the A11 and we'll get into those cameras a little bit. Later in the video, but doing a quick tour of the phone, we have our volume buttons on the top right here we have our power button here on the side with that fingerprint sensor built in with absolutely love that on the left here we have our SIM tray. which turns out to be a dual SIM setup as well as having a micro SD card slot, just on that left side at the top we have a microphone and at the bottom we have a type C port for headphones and our only bottom speaker in general here.

It feels like a really solid phone, it's a little bit heavier because we have a bigger battery on the a12 than the previous generation a11. This is a 5000 milliamp hour battery as opposed to the 4000 milliamp hour battery, but let's go ahead and jump to the Galaxy A12 okay, so our

first

difference right off the bat here is that on the Galaxy A12 we have a 6.5 screen. inches unlike the 6.4-inch screen of the Galaxy A11. Here on camera, it doesn't really look any different in terms of that screen. Size The reason there is a little difference is that the A12 is a little bigger, so you can see the size difference at the top is a little taller and as a result it has a slightly larger screen large, but here's a look at that 6.5-inch display, we've got a decent-sized chin at the bottom here, but overall nice rounded bezels and we've got a teardrop design for the front camera here, but it doesn't look as aggressive as other Samsung designed in a teardrop shape. phones that I reviewed earlier on the channel, so I'm happy because it doesn't really look like it's going to be that intrusive, but I'm going to go ahead and put my information on the phone and then we can take a much more detailed look at what appears to be a Pretty good phone here for the price, so it's actually the next day, but I've been using the Galaxy A12 for a while here and I've really enjoyed this phone.

So far starting with the biometric data coming into the phone, the fingerprint sensor on the side built into the power button, I love this feature, it's been working great so far, it still doesn't fail me every time you put your thumb on it to the right. on the sensor, you're right on your phone, you can also just press the button and that will also allow you to input with your thumb. There is also facial recognition which also works quite well, you can see that it catches you at all times. So I love accessing this super fast phone.
The next thing I want to address is general use and navigation of the phone, just scrolling through the home screen and such. It really won't be that bad, it's pretty smooth, but you have to realize that this. It's a $180 to $190 phone so there's going to have to be some compromises and probably the biggest compromise is generally navigating the phone so you can see here that it's a little slow when you're going through certain things. the animations won't be as smooth and crisp so just scrolling here you'll be able to see just by looking at the comments and stuff, some things can take a fraction of a second to load or when you're done in a certain app and want to exit it can take a fraction of a second. second more than other phones, but honestly, at the end of the day, for general use, as I was using it last night for most of it, it honestly didn't affect my overall condition. experience a lot and when you take into account all the other features that this phone includes, it is definitely worth it in my opinion, one of those things is the 6.5 inch screen, so for such a cheap phone with a screen so big, I'm loving this screen and honestly this really small tear hasn't hindered my experience at all.
I like that it's simply attached to the bezel and phone, rather than being a completely separate camera like we have on the Galaxy A11 here. It just creates an awkward space in that top corner. What are you going to do with that little bit of space there? It's probably not too much. It's all going to come down to personal preference, but honestly, at the end of the day, it really doesn't help. There's a lot of difference and I'm really enjoying the viewing experience here on the A12. I should mention that this is a 720p display similar to the Galaxy A11, but honestly, it's fine just for watching YouTube and performing general-purpose tasks.
It's really not a deal breaker, especially at this price, and I'm really happy we're getting some extra screen real estate here on the A12; It may not be noticeable side by side, but we're getting an 85 to 86 screen per body. ratio here on the galaxy a12 compared to the galaxy a11 which has a screen to body ratio of around 81, removing another similarity is the audio quality so again I didn't notice much difference here on the galaxy's bottom speaker a12 compared to that of the a11, only one difference you will find is that the headphone jack is on the top of the a11 and the bottom of the a12, but let's quickly listen to that audio to show you that there really isn't one.
There is a lot of difference between the two. One improvement we have on the galaxy a12 here is the bluetooth 5 connectivity upgraded from bluetooth 4.2 on the galaxy a11 so it will improve our earbuds experience or truly wireless earbuds here so if you use any type of galaxy earbuds this will be the phone which you will definitely want to use, you will get the same great Bluetooth experience that you would get on any other high-end Samsung device, another improvement that can't really be shown on video here, but We'll talk about it: we have a 5000 milliamp hour battery in the Galaxy A12, which is a big increase in battery size and I have a very small sample to show you here of that battery in action, so I was watching YouTube for an hour last night and it consumed 10 of the battery an hour and 17 minutes consumed 10 of the battery getting at least 10 hours of screen on time 10 hours of watching youtube content I want to say that it is a great battery that will last After a few days, I love that the batteries are increasing in size on these phones, which which makes them a little heavier.
That's probably the biggest difference I initially found between this A12 and the A11 is the weight difference. This is a very thin and light phone. This has a little more weight to it but what I have noticed with all of these phones increasing the battery size and therefore becoming heavier is that you just get used to it and then once you get used to using this phone and get used to it to how it feels in a way that you don't really even notice that difference there, so I think that's a nice change that's coming on these phones, instead of just having a one day battery life, we're getting at least two days or three days a day. week, if you are a light user, you are very happy that it has a 5000 milliamp hour battery packed in, same as the size of the battery it will have in the galaxy s21 ultra, okay, let's take a look at the gaming performance here on the galaxy a12, I'm just going to start Stardew Valley, one of my favorite games to play.
Well, take a look here at Stardew Valley. There are a couple of frame drops here and there, but overall it's completely playable, there are no major lags. or anything you can see if you zoom out, there are a couple of dropped frames, but if you're just doing the basic tasks here it's really fine and just scrolling through the different tools and things and moving around and you can see it works well. Well I would say for light gaming this is a great option and lastly we have the new and improved camera setup so we have a 48 megapixel wide angle lens we have a 5 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and then we have a 2 megapixel macro. lens and depth sensor so let's quickly jump to the camera here we have our standard and we also have that wide angle lens, we have live focus so you can get that bokeh effect, we have standard video and also wide angle and we have some different additional ones We have Pro panoramic, macro and food photo modes, so you can use that macro to get really close to your subject.
Get some more detailed shots. See how close you can get to the subject. This is not a feature I really use. I'm often not sure why they keep putting this on phones, maybe it's a cheaper camera and it's more of an advertising point to say, hey, there are four cameras on this phone, the main focus will be the main lens, but it will. I'll try it here over the next few weeks. I'll be sure to come back 12 days later with a review of this Galaxy A12. Initially, here are the first

impressions

. I am very impressed with this phone in terms of performance and overall usability.
There's really not much difference with the Galaxy A11, so I think this Galaxy A12 is actually just a refinement of that previous generation phone and it's doing a very good job with a bigger screen, a bigger battery, and a bigger RAM, which I think is huge. the galaxy a11 only had two gigabytes of ram, this can be upgraded to six gigabytes of ram, it has a 15 watt fast charging headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button on the side, it's so nice access the phone every time it is a little thicker. heavier but it has a great feel, much better feel in the hand with this matte plastic and just this ridge design gives it a nice feel and for 180 or 190 dollars I can highly recommend the galaxy a12, but what do you think? the
