Mar 26, 2024
What's going on, everyone? I'm Kevin, I present to you the five

best

and the five

worst

things

about the Samsung Galaxy A03s. So let's start now. The first thing I want to mention is that this phone is a very low budget offering. from Samsung, so we certainly shouldn't expect this device to give us the latest and greatest features and highest specifications because of course, if you want to spend a thousand dollars on a smartphone, you can get it, but if you don't want to. If you spend too much there are obviously some

things

you won't get and overall I think this phone is very good value for money, but I'll start by going over the five

best

things and then the five

worst

things.

More nitpicky, but things you'll want to keep in mind if you get this phone, but starting with my five favorite things about the number one Samsung Galaxy A03s is that we have a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. now starting with the iPhone 7 which was pretty much the first smartphone to get rid of the headphone jack and since then that trend has really spread to almost all high-end Android phones that no longer offer headphone jacks and we're even Seeing More mid-range and low-end phones don't offer us that feature either, so I'm glad we at least have it here with the A03.

More Interesting Facts About,

samsung galaxy a03s 5 best and 5 worst things...

Now I realize that Bluetooth headphones are becoming more and more popular and that's great, this phone does it. I have bluetooth, of course, so you can always connect them, but I also know that a lot of people still have traditional wired headphones and this phone still supports them, so I think that's definitely a good thing now. My second favorite thing about the A03 is that we have a fingerprint sensor on the power button, so the predecessor phone of this device, the a02s, didn't actually have any fingerprint sensor, so I'm glad to see that that generation to this one we now have a fingerprint sensor and it's also very fast and responsive which is another big plus so I'm very happy that it's here and also this phone also supports face unlock so it's really cool that there are multiple methods to access it now, my third favorite thing. about the

a03s

is that the performance is pretty decent, don't get me wrong, it's certainly not the fastest phone in the world by any means and in fact it's relatively slow if you compare it to most other phones out there, but for a very low end device like this one, I am quite happy with the performance, it has the mediatek helio p35 processor with three gigabytes of RAM and at least it runs fast enough that you can use this phone for most of the basic tasks that I would like to use a smartphone for texting, phone calls, web browsing, and light social networking.

This phone is powerful enough for that, but I remember not too long ago that most very low-end phones from various companies tended to be so bad that you literally couldn't use them with anything, so I'm glad that with If the A03 is fast enough that you can use it as your phone now, for most people it will probably end up being a little slow, but if you're someone who wants a smartphone just for the basics of what you'd use a smartphone for , then it will do the job. Another thing also is that I ran a geekbench 5 benchmark test here on the phone and got a single core score of 174 and a multi core score of 888, so what I recommend doing is running this test on your current phone and then compare your scores with these scores to get a better idea of whether the A03 will actually be a performance improvement.

Now let's move on to my fourth favorite thing about this device and that is the material on the back. Now this phone is offered in a variety of different colors and on certain carriers you may not have too many options, but regardless the phone has this. nice matte finish and has a wavy look to it so I feel like Samsung really made a great decision in using this material for multiple reasons, the first reason is that visually it looks good, the second reason is that it doesn't pick up fingerprints which I guess technically they would be included, visibly it looks good, but it doesn't pick up fingerprints, it looks great and it doesn't feel cheap either, so I think overall Samsung made a good decision by putting this in. material on the back of the phone versus maybe something a little cheaper or a material that can pick up more fingerprints like a glossy back for example.
I'm glad they went this route and then my fifth favorite thing about the phone and there are many more but these are my top five: The phone has a very large battery. Now the battery here has a capacity of 5,000 milliamp hours and you can recharge it up to 15 watts, so I'm very happy that we have a big battery. one of course because you will get a very good battery life out of the phone easily in a day if not two days but another good thing also is that as the battery degrades over time which happens to everyone Smartphones, that's the way it is.
It won't be as noticeable here with the phone because it already has a very large battery to begin with, so if you start with a probably larger battery than you need, as it degrades over time, it won't be as noticeable. It's noticeable compared to a phone that already has a small battery that then degrades, so overall I think Samsung made a great choice by giving this phone a very large battery, but now that I've gone over my top five things about the Samsung Galaxy A03s, let's see Now let's go over my five worst things about the phone and again, these various things are not necessarily a deal breaker because this is a low-end device so hopefully you won't get everything but these These are things you will want.
You should know this before purchasing the phone and I definitely want you to know all the information about it so that you don't regret your purchase now. The first flaw of the Galaxy A03s is that there is no ultra-wide angle camera, now we have it. We have a triple camera setup on the back of the phone, but we get a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, any 2-megapixel depth sensor camera. Now overall, the cameras on this device aren't bad by any means, but they would be. It's been nice to have an ultra-wide-angle camera with the device because it gives us another way to take more interesting photos.
There are certain situations where it definitely makes more sense to use the ultra-wide camera, like if you're on vacation, for example. or maybe you're hiking and there's a big tree you want to take a photo of. I don't know, there are a lot of situations where sometimes you would want a wider field of view with your camera, so it's a bit limiting because we don't have an ultra-wide camera with the A03, but maybe that's something Samsung could add with the successor of this phone or at least I hope so. The second thing about the A03 is that I'm not a big fan What I like most is that the screen is only 720p now, overall the screen doesn't look bad, however at this point in 2022 I really wish it didn't There were smartphones with 720p screens, so it certainly would have been nice if it was 1080p.
I have made this phone even better now, the third worst thing about the phone is the large bezels, we have a fairly large bottom bezel here and then we also have a waterdrop notch on the top. Now, overall this isn't a deal breaker, but we've definitely had pretty much the same design with last year's A02s, but we've seen this same design with a thicker bottom bezel and a waterdrop notch in tons. of different devices from a variety of different companies, so while this form factor gets the job done, it's not really anything too innovative or interesting, so I wish Samsung would change it with some of these low-end phones that take up the ranked number four for storage, so with the Samsung Galaxy A03s we only have 32. gigabytes of internal storage which, honestly, maybe for a low-end phone like this you can get away with, but that's barely enough.
Apps continue to grow in file size as time goes on, which means you can do less and less with your phone. Now the phone at least has micro SD card expansion, but nothing beats having plenty of internal storage as well. which I wish they had given this phone 64 gigabytes instead of 32. You can see that I have already used 56 of the internal storage and of that around 10 gigabytes is just the system software, so the system software already takes up almost a third of the storage here on the phone so again if they had given us more it would have been awesome because as of now I don't have a ton of internal storage left so I could easily see this filling up completely later of maybe six months or even a year, and then the thing I like least about Samsung Galaxy A03s is that the phone doesn't have NFC, now I know.
NFC isn't very common on low-end smartphones, but I really wish it were, especially since it doesn't cost much to implement and NFC is becoming more and more popular and more and more useful. NFC is the main technology used to create contactless mobile payments, for example, so if you like to use Apple Pay on an iPhone or even Samsung Pay on some of the high-end Samsung phones, you should know that you won't be able to do that here with the A03, so I really want this. The phone had NFC because it would be another value-added proposition, but this concludes my video on the five best and worst things about the Samsung Galaxy A03s.
I hope you enjoyed this video looking at these various pros and cons and I hope it gives you a better idea of what this phone is all about and again the worst things about the phone aren't necessarily that bad especially considering this is a phone Low-end Android, those things might be important to you, which is why I wanted to do this. video, but definitely like the channel and I'll see you in the next one, take care and have a great rest of your day.
