and we're back after what was really, um, was a huge, sudden hiatus on our show and we wanted to be able to take a minute to explain a little bit more about that about why we went off the air last week because Here at Capitol Breakfast we're a big family, we have our entire team in the studio right now and you are also part of our family, you listen every morning, you are part of that and we wanted to share with you. You're pretty pretty, I mean, there's no other way to say it's really sad news.

Joe. not only was he part of the capitol breakfast family but a beloved member of the entire team, everyone who works here in the

capital

is obviously completely devastated and we are trying to process this all together and we are all together and we are all It was a family huge and we wanted to be able to share this news with you too so that you understand a little more where we come from.

Joe had worked for Global, who is obviously the parent company, for nine years when I when I met him, he was the first person I met when I walked in the door first, but the first person and I remember thinking who is this guy, yeah, He's a bit of a Dell guy. s you know they keep the show moving and I guess you know we wanted to be able to tell you a little bit about producer Joe as a person now it's going to be very difficult he couldn't really do it. enough for people um he was the nicest guy I know but without a doubt he was kind and loving uh he loved dogs he really loved dogs um he was obsessed with his daily step count yeah um he never ironed his clothes he loved that much to his family dad Ivan his mom Celia his sister Lou his friends laughed and that's fine, I was going to say his fans, he loved his fans, he had fans, um, but what he loved most of all is doing this this show and he loved that you heard at this moment he loved to make you happy there are so many things he could continue the list that you had heard us do in the capitol that that was he was like a genius coming up with these ideas and you know it It was fueled by your reaction every day, already you know, like we all are, you know, and besides being such an amazing guy, he was a lot of fun, he was playful and goofy, and you know, Sunny, listen, he's our best friend, right?
