Master Metal Man Ian Rousell continues the transformation of the two Falcons. I didn't tell Bill when he would be back or what he was doing or what color he was painting it. It was like a surprise revelation. Wow, Ian, this is it. the finish is great, but Ian's client has his sights set on selling the Falcon truck. Ian is always

full

of surprises and my wallet is getting empty. The whole deal with this truck project was, hey, man, you could make some money and recoup this investment in The Ranchero.

I have a million ideas, but I haven't done any yet with the pressure on Ian. He asks his friends for help. Jack comes, he's the upholsterer. This is really nice, yes. The only thing that will determine the final tone is if we have a uh, a shoe fitting, the shoe fitting, I'll be right back. There is a lot going on to finish both projects at the same time. My friend Bob is in town. I'm here to help. Let's finish this baby. I'm excited and. What I'm stuck in got me out of here is all that hair gel that we are buying neiz and I think I have someone who is interested in buying it I like cars I like cars more that have motorcycles and with the sale of trucks in the Things are heating up with the red chero.

I'm just holding it together, you know, I'm turning the ringing dials. Bells blow whistles all over N9. Bill looks at me a little cross-eyed because all he hears is this engine noise, there's smoke coming out. Out of this, so I have to achieve this. The first thing I wanted to do was paint the truck and the Arrow ranch, so I took them both to My Buddy Rich Evans' shop, he's a Jedi master of the painting world, he looks just like you. Been pretty busy bro, looks good, spent a lot of time working on the body, another cool one, yeah it's Falcon van Ford 62.

I love working with Ian every time he inspires me to keep moving. We both have the same type of driving. but then we bring different talents to the table he's Mr. Meticulous and I'm Mr. Ridiculous Creative the main thing about Rich's work is that it's super clean it's probably the most refined finish I've ever seen this truck was white so I think if you go with a white shade, that's exactly what it looked like, it's just going to make the client look refreshed, so I think it's going to be a little bit more than that guy.

I knew I wanted a fine finish so I came to Rich's store and Rich has this line of paint called Vintage Flats I know everyone cringes when they hear Flats because it's hard, it's like walking on eggshells to get it right. , but I go, I have the perfect product, you know, Ian, he knows that if I say anything it's I'm going to work, put it in the cabin, the first thing you have to do is get all the dirt off it, it's time to clean it and clean it. Now we're going to clean it up a little bit more before we clean it again and then he'll check it out.
For me, I'll give it the white glove test. Dirt is something you pick up with a shovel and Rich is talking about this dirt that he finds all over the car just because the rag is discolored. We cut the side panels and it literally came together as a whole. The farm fell off that damn thing, it was crazy, it was a farm on wheels so it probably had to be raised an inch in ride height, it was so

of dirt it's crazy, every little bit of dirt we can get out from that until the end. to the process in the booth will help the final result of the paint, if you are doing these world class paint jobs, the operative word is meticulous and this guy understands that it's like washing the car 20 times and we're ready to rock right when I walk in my workshop and I start working metal, this guy walks into the paint booth and it's show time, this is one of the first big canvases I've photographed with whites so I was excited to see it because White shows everything main.
What was revealed to me was how do you get such a large surface area to have an even layer of paint. We painted the truck and let it cure. I'm excited to check it out, aha, there's the door opening, the truck looked great. I was excited Ian was excited it totally softened I thought it was too shiny but that's perfect this is exactly what the truck needed it's a perfect finish this thing looks clean makes it look easy I'm going to bring in that Ranchero and see if I can do something about. Rich was wondering what he was doing with a stock car, but by showing him what's going on underneath, he understands that if Ian has been under a car for a couple of weeks, there's something tricky.
Sure enough I looked underneath and that suspension looked ready for the track. I was simply impressed. He was like the man Rich recommended to me. I put a sealer before the top coat just to keep everything separate. away from the old base coats, I chose a color that I think Bill will really like and I'm excited to paint it. What I'm doing is quite complicated. I came up with the idea of using this base coat that has a Pearlescent, it has a metallic finish when you put the Vintage Clear on it, it will create a kind of frosted effect.
We are eliminating projects. We have the truck here. We have the ranch. Arrow here. It's a great ride with Ian throughout. I didn't tell Bill when he would be back or what he was doing or what color he was painting it. I took it to his house, it was like a surprise revelation. Hello, wow, I'm back very cool, this is the cool finish, very similar. to what you did in the big truck wow, I knew how you like that, yeah, and that's what wow, Ian, that's great. I knew how hard Ian worked on this thing and the body was so straight and looked so good.
Ian did a perfect job. work I felt relieved like I took a chance on this I didn't tell him what was going on but when he saw it he really liked it beautiful Bill was happy to see the frog but I realized that all he had in mind was to understand this. truck ready to sell I think I have someone who is interested in buying it so I will see if I can set it up and sell it and that will help finance wherever we go with this bill wants to finish this truck there is a lot of work to do , so I have to get in the truck, it's perfect, so it's back inside, this is what it was supposed to look like about 3 weeks ago before all the rust and collision issues were supposed to be a simple twist and, as usual. it's more work than we expected just to reset where we left off we threw a crate of milk in the van we attached the top of the seat like NASA does we touched on a couple of critical ideas about the interior of the van and those were these two bench seats and a table, the rest is up to me, the idea with this interior is that it is modular, you will have these seats, but in the end, if you need more space, they just unzip and you can put a lot more things inside.
I keep calling them. seats, but they're actually storage boxes, uh, there will be one face and two lids on the ends, the lid will open so you have this open space here to just throw in your fishing gear, surfboards, whatever you need, You have these aluminum piano hinges from Real Industrial. Metal, I'll put two pins that will keep it indexed when it's closed that way it just won't move when you drive, but that's the story, come on, inspect the welds and we'll give it the white glove test like Rich. Evans, that's not helping. One of the main things I think would improve this truck is simply making it quieter.
I bought this from Eastwood. It is a soundproofing mat. It's like a giant rubber sticker. The general idea with this van is that it's a giant Tin Can You Dig, so when you put these things in there, the Vans move, don't knock on the door when I'm not busy welding, fabricating, doing body work, sanding and painting In my spare time, I do some door carpentry. panels aren't rocket science, just measure them. Lay out a template, set up the holes for the fasteners, and cut them to fit. You don't even care, he loses interest after 30 seconds. Jack will come tomorrow.
I want to show you an idea for the interior and see. what it takes to make this happen while I'm in the middle of it. Jack comes in, he's the upholsterer and his opinion on how I set this up is pretty important. Yeah you can see I worked a little for a little polished it a little redid it all yeah remember it didn't have a face this is really cute yeah everything will be fine the first time I saw it it looked pretty bad and I said no I know about this. project here. I'm not really sure this is going to work when I went in there.
I didn't think it was the same truck. Wow, this has really changed, boy, that looks good. Jack comes by regularly because I've always had something going on so he didn't really pay attention to this truck, he thought maybe it was a spare parts car, so here it is a few weeks later and it's all painted in perfect condition, it was like backwards . Bill NX, the magician's mural. I wanted a wizard with a crystal ball and he just didn't want that, so we're going to use some simple stripes. I really use Jack for everything I do. He has worked for many famous stores in the area he has been to.
He was his whole life and he is a total professional. It was supposed to be a very mild restoration just to sell it, but he wants to get a little hyped up on the interior. Look how I'm framing those seats. Make him some cushions. cushion that will be up to you what you think it's curtains on the windows and a couple of bench seats and it has a table that I'm going to set up well the whole vibe for the interior of this van should be some kind of soft surf culture Southern California kind of thing, so I just want it to look really cool, you know, it's not typical, so look at how these benches are set up, kind of, oh yeah, lift up, oh, this is going to be quite a rug, yeah, oh, I see, okay, he's been doing this for so long. he's seeing it all, so I just bounce some ideas off of him and he comes up with the process.
I have some crazy ideas. If I did the modern style interior now, it just wouldn't look like the 60's deal I got. There's some work left to do before the truck is ready for Jack, but I'm glad he liked my ideas. I'm putting on the headliner on the truck and there are a million ways to do it. Plywood is just a surface that you can put something on. and that's really how I start with all the major artists. I've done all my homework here with this truck is to make it look as cool and creative as possible without spending a lot of money so you can go to town and sew on this main banner for a month I think I could make something in an hour and a half it's going to look just as cool so all the interior pulse panels are going to Jack but the headliner is not this is going to be the headliner a 6t reading fence with natural finish my The plan here is to take this fence and glue it on the ceiling and make a nice headline.
I simply set it up so there is an even foot hanging on each side of this 4T table. I need a 5 foot piece so I'm going to cut 6 inches off each side and that will eliminate all of these crazy ends, the big challenge on this whole main sign is the size and the fact that it's upside down. I've never done this before so I thought the staples were going to be a good idea, it's always harder than it seems in your head to shoot it into the damn metal holding it down. I was stapling to the metal stud on the ceiling.
There was no way these would hold, but once I moved a few inches they stapled. I placed it in the right place and started working, here we go. I think everything will be fine, yes, these cables are very strong, so in the end I will put about 10 million staples here. It's like the TIY island here, this is a big size, so I'm just going to drag it forward and trim it as I go, once I have it actually stapled to the windshield, I could tell it's going to work. I really like the way it's laid out and my plan for stapling it is it's going to happen, okay, now just trim it down, do some yard work, put up the rest of the headlights, how can you not like it? this?
I mean, if Bill has something to say about it, I think it'll be a great idea. Surprised, I didn't think that placing this headliner is the first step in the final look of the entire interior concept. This bamboo fence for a roof worked great in Surf City, here we go, but today is going to be a little Show and Tell Bill is coming, he hasn't seen the paint job yet, he's bringing a friend who's a potential client, Maybe someone wants to buy the truck. I probably haven't seen the truck in about two weeks. I came down expecting to see the painting on this. and I walked through the door and see you, sir.
Wow, a little more progress. I saw it last time, yes, we painted it from the beginning. I could tell Bill was happy to know where this truck came from and seeing it cleanly painted, it was. really happy, very very nice, it also has a bamboo roof, yes that old fence worked well, it was a bamboo fence, really yes, when you walk in and open it, I can see the panels, I can see the roof. I really dug the bamboo ceiling because I think it'll be a cool theme, you know, from the '60s, it's old and I'm glad to get a little peekbefore it's finished because I can see how it's being built.
I wanted you to do it. Watch this when you're in the middle of your rebuild to appreciate it when it's all done. Yes, Jess is my son's wife's brother and I have known him for a long time. He really he's a good guy, but a family gathered at my house and Bill. he showed me a picture of the truck like wow, that looks really cool. He's seen firsthand the projects I did with Bill. The guy is a fan and he wants some of what we have. On Any Sunday, the

classic

motorcycle movie. This is like the type of Van that Mt Lawell had and he used to, I mean, he traveled all over the country, from California to Ohio, directly with another driver who took turns and had his Flat Trackers in the back.
I don't see why you wouldn't use this one. I know. I think it's very utilitarian. I have a regular job, but I'm also an associate editor at Ultimate Motorcycling, so I'm the dirty guy on staff, but I've fallen in love with all kinds of motorcycles. I like cars. I like cars that have motorcycles better. I have a dirt bike in the back of my truck, so let's take it and see if it works. I guess Jess' main concern with this is whether he can transport his dirt bikes with her. He is really interested in the motocross scene and if the truck doesn't carry his. dirt bikes, it doesn't work for him, let's see, oh yeah, look at that, luckily his motorcycle came in, so now I have to buy it because the bike fits, huh.
I love this. I love the concept. I like how it looks. I like it. The idea of this going forward is the fact that you know you have the shag carpet, you can sleep in this thing, you can store things in here and you know the best cars on the road have motorcycles in them, so I mean you put a motorcycle here yes I can make a deal with Jess, she's still in my family and I'm fine with that, so you guys practically sold me now. I just need to sell this to the wife. I don't make this offer often, but if you sign today, you can take the dog too.
Everyone is happy with the progress of the truck, but I have to finish it. There are a lot of details to finish. I have to put the bumpers on the original bumpers. They are all very good, but I don't do it. Make stock, you know they were a little worn. I think it could make a more attractive piece. The back of the truck looks great without the bumper and I just want to follow that I saw a lot of cool tricks done in the 60's. Rods and Customs where they made these two bumpers, you'll just make two simple Round Two bumpers from From this second round, it will be clean, show this detail and I can use the original bumper mounts, you never know where.
Inspiration will come to you, you just have to be open to it, so it discourages me a little. I have not done any

custom

metal work on this entire truck. I made a couple of repairs and did a lot of sanding. No interior guy would let me get my hands dirty. This truck is a well finished piece, it's now being put together so it's not like I can just solder a piece of plumbing pipe in here, it has to look good. The tube bumper is super simple. I'm going to use the original supports, cut them out.
Bend the tube to fit, cap them, and solder them in place. It's going to be as wide as the truck, so I'm going to cut it right there, weld it on, so it's complementary to this Center detail, like everything else. A model held the tube. I looked at it for a bit and came up with this dimension. I simply put caps on the ends of the tube and sanded them well. That is the history. Bender made a lot of scratches all along the tube, so I had to smooth it all out. that, but you see the final CS looks super clean, everything will be fine, set up some explosion.
Shield so as not to ruin the fresh paint. The whole concept with these bumpers is not like Offroad Thrasher. Two bumpers, these are just small details. which make it look like a finished piece, these are a little more artistic than your typical utility style bumper, you know, you say two bumpers, you think of one thing, but these are just cool little nerf bars. Enda sanded well, will be a clean look, pretty simple, looks super cool, took me about 1 hour to do all four. I really like the finish the sander left on these two bumpers, so I'm just going to give them a clear coat.
I'll probably paint the supports black so they look like they're floating. Look, everything here was like you had a big, bulky square bumper. Now you're just showing the shape of the body and that's cool, it's crazy. I always say that the engineers had theirs. Plans and then they covered the back of this truck, proving it. The license plate frame is an amazing little detail. It looks like something custom and they put this original bumper on it. I don't even know how it happened. It was a Zen moment he just said become and they became it's like I was a vessel I was just a portal for this Divine energy you see what happens when you open yourself to it it has two nice bumpers the truck is in a good place I have a surprise for the Ranchero I want to show Bill, oh look who it is, hey buddy, the name of the game with this car is updated driver, modern, everything, the suspension is there, time to get in the engine and make that happen, too I have fuel.
F MSD fuel injection electronic ignition and injection kit on a 65 car, okay let's try it, it's the same concept as a suspension upgrade for a daily driver. I think it will be a perfect addition to the engine bay. This is all taking all that old technology out of the intake system with these fancy new things I'm an old school guy I'm a carburetor, you squirt it, it's got gas in it, it'll probably run on fuel injection. I don't know anything about what you have. your computer chip here, so that's what runs it. I've never connected a computer chip to a car before, but that might make some history for me.
Computer control is a little scary for an old man. The problem with every old car is upgrading the ignition. and the intake msd has this cool fuel injection setup, it makes everything better, here you go doctor, thank you sir, as always with Ian. I was thinking, well, we'll just make a carb kit, tune the thing and go, no, no, so we're ionizing as we go through the process explaining what all these parts do. Bill is starting to understand that it's really just car technology on a different rapper. This is an old dog. I guess a new trick.
So this MSD kit is great. It's like rocket science to the layman. I like the idea of new technology. No one expects this old car to be cool, once you put the pieces in place it starts to look like a hot rod and that's really what it's all about. once we've determined that all the pieces fit together, I'll simply hand the rest of this setup over to Ron and Bill, now you can collect all the rappers. Some assembly was required. Some assembly was required. Exactly. Ron is a really good guy and he helped me a lot. with my big truck I have experience with old school stuff and that's what Bill has, a lot of old school stuff that he can work on on trucks, tractors, cars or anything.
Ian is very motivating for Ron, I mean he loves watching him, he's a brain who has crazy ideas and just goes for it, which is great. I actually had an extra Falcon and sold it to Ron and he's been slowly working on it. My grandfather had one and he takes me back, so he really likes the Falcon. treats very similar to what Bill and Ron are accomplishing, uh, with the engine. Jack is just that guy, but with the upholstery here we are at the upholstery store again, that's a nice truck. Every time I come to Jax, he has this amazing truck sitting here.
He has a lot of great work done and never seems to make any progress. I'm always like cheering them on like, hey man, I'm ready to take it off your hands when you finish watching it for the first time. I saw it, he said. I wish I had this. I said well, when it starts, you can have it. Yes, this is it. I have big plans for this in the future. I'm going to ask Ian to cut it for me. Look how it goes, but I wouldn't trust anyone but him to do it, so these are all the panels, okay, rear driver, well now this is going to be all diamonds until the end, all right, Jack's been there and done it. has done.
I told him a 60s inspired van and he said the diamond pleat looks good to me. We can go to the upholstery supply and pick out something that looks good. Well, I have something here that you might like. I show Jack around the inside. panels I prepared. I'm explaining to him what I want the flavor of the interior to be and he says that he has this great roll of stuff that might work. I mean, it seems like you have enough, oh yeah, the only thing. That's going to determine the final tone is that we have a shoe test.
I don't know if you're familiar with that shoe test. Jack is fully loaded, he definitely wants to use this stuff. I'm getting interested, but he didn't say wait, I have a shoe, some artist things. I know you like upholstery stuff, but I'm going to reveal the determining factor in the final shade. I will be, I will be right back, it is a meaningless statement. on its own, but when I came back everything was clear, it's about decision making and the way people do it is completely unique, so he gave us that leather sample and you can see how shiny and leather-like it is, but it is very similar.
For that, yes, this is a lot and the other, the only other determining factor is his wife's shoe. I guess they're having an argument. She pulled the wife out of this bill. She makes a lot of aesthetic decisions in her project, so they are. kicking around talking about shopping and she says, hey, this shoe is one of my favorite colors, why not wear this indoors? You know, that's pretty close. She thought it was a great shade holding the shoe against the material, it looks close enough. I'm happy with him. I think it's going to work well.
I was going to say that if it's a mismatch issue, you'll have to reupholster the shoe to match. Does that work for you, just one? However, can you make that one shoe? Well, that's all he gave me, it's always a lot of work. I didn't know anything about curtains and I thought they were curtains for me because I probably haven't made curtains in 40 years, but that's how it is, you don't know the other one. car, the Falcon Ranchero. I have all the parts for that too, plus the interior of the truck. I double-matched it with the Ranchero interior and, uh, he's cool with it, he knows I'm doing good things, so he's on board to do it.
The seat and door panels, I'll do that in a moment. They are going to be much simpler. I think there's a lot to do to figure out both projects at the same time, so Bill and Ron are on it. The engine on the Ranchero Jack is going down with the upholstery on the truck my friend Bob is in town and he will do whatever it takes to help me finish this thing you're doing here man who makes Vans I don't really tell Bob what's going on in the store, you know, I always like to surprise him.
He thinks that sometimes he'll walk in and see a flying saucer in the middle of the room or who knows what. I didn't know what to expect. I just knew that, normally, yes. he's working on one thing, it's wild and crazy, so the idea of those two wild and crazy times really had me on the edge of my seat. He sure likes the old school truck, so he went in and checked the interior, which is a great idea for The Main Man, the idea today is to make a lot of progress on the interior, the carpet needs to be put down, there are these boxes that They're for the seats, which need to be covered with carpeted panels, so really they're all loose ends, well man.
I'm here I'm here to help, let's get this baby over with. I'm excited, so this is the vibe for the interior. I have this roll of carpet. Let's go with this rug for indoors and outdoors. We still have that '60s vibe, but it allows for it. You can haul stuff or go camping either way it will work and then we got this antique table that was at Bill's Back 40 so it's like the old school diner look, it actually came from a fast food restaurant so that everything The interior of the van is designed to be modular, so this table that I chose will have two locations that can be placed on the floor, two small posts.
You'll be able to just get the table in and out of the van depending on how much interior space you need from the beginning. I knew this table was big, you know, it's from a restaurant and here we are putting it in this little van, there are several things, I mean, first Well, I'm too big for the truck. the table is too big for the van and then Bob walks in and the whole equation is ruined, that's all you're going to do here in that whole setup, so you're not relaxing with a drink, are you? in the prison van at least at least I won't have to worry about spilling food on my lap exactly it's clearly a problem here that will need to be remedied obviously this table is too big we have tofix it we have to do this The table is smaller in both height and width so I am going to cut the pedestal and narrow the table to about 6 inches before putting the rug on.
I'm going to commit to two places for the table base, one near the rear axle and one in the front next to the engine once that's done, it's on the carpet, it's a preliminary layout of the carpet. I'm going to leave it all big because I'm going to have to spray glue on separate panels down for these three dimensional shapes like the Wells fender, so I'm roughing out all of these areas that way I can take this out again and then put the padding on. My design for these boxes was very simple, it should be very quick to put together, just pop it into place. fold it down fold it over the edges and install it yeah see so that's the overall design that gives a nice luxurious finish to watching them do something different.
I was really impressed with his skills, it seems like there's nothing he can't do, hey Ian, how are you? You got some tapestry, yeah, sweet, Buton City. Jack is a whiz with this repulsor game, so you're just in time. These are incredibly cool. It looks good with the main sign. Wow, it looks pretty good, so it was really a recharge when Jack brought it. In these upholstery pieces it really gave an idea of how this was going to end. You know, I like to do creative things. I get bored easily if I'm not doing it, if I'm not thinking or I have to create something new, it's always that little extra step that pushes you forward.
You work hard on something, it always shows, this looks great. I think you are right about money style. I knew that this rim and tire combination is what sets everything off. They came at the end of the game here, but I always knew we were going to do something cool, so what we got, we have some belief, it's like a

classic

style, you'll see the center cap is really stylish, it's going to be like night and day here, man, because that's really what every vehicle looks like there, it needs wheels and this is the icing on the cake, the three spokes, yeah, it's cool.
I like the ker rims just because they are that classic style, cool classic look, it's a little different than the standard SS but they have the cool Spinners like them, three spoke knockoffs, wide chrome rims, they look good, it keeps getting better increasingly. You know, you said the only way this truck could look better was if you were sitting in the front seat. I think if sitting there he would turn his nose down just why don't you try that perfect it was really good having Bob here we ended up with a lot of loose ends this guy is ready to go oh man I think all you have to do is give Bill a deposit it's yours is perfect I got a call from Bill this morning he's a little panicked I guess the Ranchero won't fire the carburetor I understand how they work I know how they work That would have been easy but we didn't do it Take the easy route we took let's get technical and get things done new today.
Ian shows up and hopefully we're going to make this work. All these components are installed. You can see it well. Turn the key and there is no fuel pressure. The pump turns on every time fuel reaches it directly. The only thing I can think of is that the polarity is reversed. I see something but I can't verify if it's a plus or a minus and it's hard to see Ian in this little mirror. and it went in there, yes that's inconvenient just touch the key and see what happens now there it is so the wires got reversed on the pump that's what happened with that but it seems like yes the problem was solve, it's always like that.
I've done something wrong 10,000 times and that's it, you just have to rethink it come back and sometimes you know how to reverse things so according to you, Ian, it's ready to rock, captain, we're ready for the power up, I'm happy to do it. Listen to it work, it works well. I wouldn't say it's not working. I saw him coming. This car has been sitting for over 6 years. I'm just holding it together. You know, I'm spinning. The dials ring. Bells that blow whistles the whole nine. Yards Bill is looking at me angrily because all he can hear is the metallic noise of the engine, smoke coming out of it.
There's a bit of human error in everything so the smoke was because I spilled oil on the exhaust heat wrap and the timing was said incorrectly okay, excited once we remedied both the thing ran like a new car and he always has a few tricks up his sleeve, that boy has a few more things to wrap up. This Ranchero is almost finished. Can. Don't wait to see him on the road, the Falcons are ready. Ian has it all set up now and I drove it today and it runs amazing. Perfect. The Ranchero is tight. We have the fuel injector working perfectly.
We take it to the invoice from the alignment shop. You were looking to get this Ranchero back on the road, right? I got it back big time, it's all loaded and this thing crawls, drives like a slot car, you turn it, it turns, you wouldn't know it's the same car at all. nothing feels the same it's like a new car it's everything and more than I expected from the beginning everything about this Rancher was top notch, you look at it and it's a nice car with correct tires, but I love the suspension, the way it It handles itself, it is a complete. transformation I'm so happy that we didn't just go my way with the shocks and springs cut and whatever, this is an over the top deal, but the car is now great and perfect.
I love it. Not only did we get the Ranchero looking good, I also got this truck wrapped. This truck was a much more ambitious project than I thought. First we had the problem with the nose, the collision on the nose, it had to look good so it just escalates Ian did his double duty as always and it's very nice to be taken to Billd and just as I'm showing Bild the van Jess shows up holy cow see you again yeah good to see you in Hi Bill when I first walked in and saw the van I was a little impressed it looked perfect look at this wow these wheels are amazing the first thing I saw at the instant it was the wheels and the Spinners that activated it completely and you have the bumper here yes, yes, I used the original bumper brackets and I just did some tube bumpers, the details that Ian did on the bumper and the mesh on the part front, everything comes together.
He really loved the bumpers and the rims that I chose but it's about the interior yeah so I asked the upholsterer to come over so oh my gosh a little bit better than it was oh this is amazing when I opened the doors, it was like you opened a treasure chest, right? It looks like a plain white. truck on the outside, but the interior is fully equipped, it's Deluxe, we put curtain rods in there, holy cow, yes this is a Pendleton, uh, yes, the real flannel, the interior that really blew me away, the upholstery with that kind of diamond pleat and the buttons.
It looks perfect, yes, and it all works together with the bamboo ceiling and curtains, and I think I was actually a little amazed by its transformation. Wow, this really turned out a lot more than I expected on the inside. Sure because on the outside I didn't see the bumpers or the wheels, so the bumpers and the wheels totally show it, but the inside, this thing was just gutted, there was nothing inside, just a little swatch of fabric, right? so I'm really impressed CR I can't wait to take it to the beach let's drive well let's do it close the doors let's jump in there and start it oh and off we go so looking at the truck from the outside and the inside and being a spectator It's cool, the aesthetics are totally there, it's all I want, but it's not the feeling of driving it, so once you drive it, I was sold on having that really big windshield, I mean, it's nice.
It's like a bigger view of the world and you're sitting in front so you're in it, you're not in the back, you're in it, you know, stick your elbow out the window, I mean, it was a cool experience, you know? I've always wanted to buy a truck since I was 15 and a half years old. 16 years. I never bought one. Everything is aligned. I created all these little kinds of tests and barriers that they would have to overcome before I could decide if I should buy it or not. Bill's latest test has to fit this bike, okay, hey, we already know it fits the Yamaha, let's see if it fits the KTM.
The last one was: will it fit my dual sport motorcycle? Oo and it makes it perfect, we are in. We're in, we're in, we're in with about a top couple of inches on each side and that's without compressing the forks, all right, that was perfect and then I literally think you just threw a piece of cardboard down so it would pass the final test. the final test, so I have butterflies. I really want this. It's really great. Jess loved the truck. His motorcycle fits. He wants it. Let's go back. I am very happy with the ranch arrow and I am extremely.
I'm happy Jess is buying the truck. It has been very fun. Both vehicles turned out great. The invoice is another satisfied customer. His client is loaded with a new truck and I go to the next one.
