2020

Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and as you saw in the previous video we have a lot of spare

part

s for this, we even started installing some of them and this is transforming before our very eyes, but we haven't even scratched the surface because we still have a ways to go and the first thing we want to start with is our plastic fenders because we have some full metal ones with a much more aggressive look, so let's move on.

We take these four suckers out and then we bring in the new ones, well I got the grounder out, but I guess we won't need it. These suckers just ripped off after a few moves and stuff, so let's move on. and do the rest right, that's how we do it on our first fender and I have to say this looks ten times better than the OEM and look how aggressive it is and how it flows with that front bumper that sucker's got there. like a snapping turtle, what is it? An aggressive looking animal. I don't know snapping turtles.

A pretty alligator. A type of snapping turtle. That's aggressive. I've never heard of it, but yeah, this looks really cool and also how simple it was to go from one to ten. this was like a 1 it would take about 10-15 minutes and one is the easiest and 10 is the hardest yeah definitely a super easy one and even this LED light was connected to the OEM wiring harness so everything was much easier, but friend. that was awesome, can't wait to try that LED, must probably be throwing in that other sock, got the key buddy, or do you want to try it right now?

I'm going to see if it lights up, is it white or amber? both colors, why not Amber Lee? Yeah, go ahead, it's like a nice solid color that's cool technology that's legit. We'll have to try the white power once we put it on another Fender, okay, but front fender. The flares are finally installed and I have to say this front end looks super bad, the lights, the turn signals, everything works, the front end is super sharp, but anyway, moving on to the rear here, before Let's turn on our fenders here, we really have to move on. all the way to the inner fender, which we have to figure out how that sucker mounts there, so let's go ahead, let's do some research, put that sucker in there and try to complete this whole rear end, so look at that guys, we finally have it.

The flared fenders and inner fenders were removed and I must say it turned out perfect. It's going to give us a lot more room right here because these suckers actually sit a lot higher than the OEM ones and they don't just make it look like it. like it's higher overall too, but I think that's cool, but as for these inner fenders we were thinking of painting them black, but I think you'd sleep in that stainless steel color because it goes pretty well with those shocks, so this rear end is looks good and completely removed quickly, probably around 3045 minutes or something like that, but moving forward, we also have some inner fenders up here and we're getting close, let me show you what we're running into since we're. actually running the cool conversion, I think we're going to have to modify them a little bit or all of that and as you can see, there's a hoop right there, so we'll probably do like a cardboard cutout, simulate it there and trace it. put it in the back over here and make it look nice and clean, so let's go ahead and figure out how we're going to do this and try to install these suckers.

I think, son, it's a perfect success, friend. crazy, I'm really happy that it actually worked because it's like I told you, I mean, if this doesn't work, we probably won't run anything, but man, that was actually pretty hard to do, actually this thing that stainless steel still does is. It's hard to cut, we use the saw or the dicks, everything goes to waste like six blades, man, but yeah, these things, man, you just group two blades together, very easy, but we ended up using that cutting wheel and it cut perfectly and honestly We try to show this off.

I looked around to see if there were actually any inner fenders for this kit right here, but we couldn't find anything, so they're possibly the first to run it. It interferes with what is very possible to overcome with charcoal and looks very good. I mean, I looked on social media like Well, I can't find anything, man, but the next thing we're going to do is go ahead and rest this sucker on the inner fender of the other fender and that should be our easiest way to cut the other one. exactly, do the exact race. On the other hand, we don't have to do as many measurements and you're probably going to do it freehand, yeah, so let's go ahead and trace this one, cut it out and then install both of them right so that finally we have both inner fenders installed and they turned out flawless, get close to that and show them how flush this bar here is, man, where mine starts their food, when I have to start selling that jig we cut out for people who want to do this with the coil.

There may be additional kit lying around. I don't know, let us know if you saw it somewhere on Instagram or social media or something, but we also welded our Keene shock reserve tanks right here, so it might look like they were welding over there, but these. They're nice and sturdy too, but that's it, we'll actually move on to the next thing and that's our rock sliders, you'll probably remove the original one, bring in both pieces and start installing them, that's it folks, that's it. man, we had to come up with a special kind of tool right here, patent pending, but we're putting all these nuts on, so to speak, I think that's what yeah, road nuts and we're about to install that suction cup forever and no There's coming back man, that's all.

Oh, coming back, we put some Vince in, we poked some holes and that's it, so let's go ahead and try to screw this sucker in there and see how it looks, okay guys, so our Rock Cider is finally on and it looks absolutely perfect just how it flows with the fenders and how aggressive it looks and I love the color contrast that we're getting now with the black car on top of the red doors and then the black underneath here, man, it actually looks pretty cool. I definitely want a black on this red, it makes it look, it makes it pop, it really is the ideal and with the gold wheels, the guy that just throws it all in, I'm still waiting to do our other stuff here, yeah, we actually had something that It will match the wheels.

I'm going to go over that bed shelf, I can't wait to start decorating some awesome things going on the side, but before I get to that, this rock dad, though, sounds like a serious beep because the reason I really like this isn't it. like just a plate like this it only protects the side, it actually goes all the way down and protects that pinch weld that goes along the body that way you don't damage your you can, you could slide on some rocks if you wanted to yeah. if you have a big rock they'll land right here and you'll just slide down, no problem, put these suckers to the test, that's one of the conical Rock Slyde Rock sliders that way, when you slide on a rock, you don't suffer body damage, hopefully not. bodily harm exactly I don't know if you'll be that tough but I think we will man we should do something serious after all this work we've got some here we've got some nice trails actually it's nice or a rock crawling place. oh yeah, right here and I'll put this to the test for sure, but anyway, what do you say about doing that on the other side, let's move on.

It's getting dark on us, I mean all these things, man, take a good, big one, I mean, they're tedious little things, especially like those things that are there, the rib nuts and all this, there's like thirty bolts on just one of these rock cloth sliders, so anyway let's go ahead, turn on some lights, jump off that side and get the other one. The rock slider is fine so we're working late into the night, we turned on the lights and we almost made this side look as good as that side, man I love these Rock sliders man.

I love it, everything is transforming and this is probably going to be our last big piece for the exterior of this Jeep because we have other things coming up. Oh yes, we have a lot more coming, but what do we order? We have the left leg just drilling, yeah, just walking everything. We lifted it up and drilled it, but man, we were too late and you know what I just noticed. Would you realize that we've even been working in that workshop for so long? But he's pretty garage again, it's a quadruple garage over there, mate. You know what I think it is, I think it's probably because we've been working on the apocalypse platform and we've been outdoors.

The weather has been nice lately, aside from the tornadoes, which was very unfortunate, but man, breathe this fresh air every day. buddy it hasn't been raining much so we loved it buddy you're here and we'll be back here real soon. Now I know a lot of you have been asking, but this has been taking a long time, you know, to get these commercial things. thrown away, but man this is going to be our first big project, it's actually going to be our first biggest project we've ever done, you know what I mean, exactly what you said, but this is going to be a lot of fun, but as for these rock stars and In things we did a lot of work and we have a big mess on our hands, so we are going to go ahead with the cleanup and we will continue tomorrow morning, so it will be the next day.

Here we finally have both Rock sliders installed and This whole Jeep looks sick overall, but we'll move on to the back here, since you know, we installed this bed rack right here and this is actually the half rack, they also sell those full shelves, that's all, yeah. high with this hardtop, but it looks a little strange right now, it's off because it doesn't have any accessories right now, but we have a bunch of accessories that will go here and also on the other side, but we'll get to that later, now We ourselves want to put in the biggest accessory, which is actually a rooftop tent that's going to sit here and that's actually going to match these wheels as we mentioned before, so let's go ahead and get that sucker out and see. what it is and as you can see here we kept this sucker hidden for a while, look at that mole dude it's fake that's crazy but this sucker is huge dude will it fit?

That's what I'm thinking, we pulled it out incredibly huge. Dude, maybe it's too big, how big are these two? This is the extra large they should, yeah maybe we should have bought a smaller medium or something. We didn't know their sizes, we just ordered the first one, that's all. but Amazon and I saw a cool looking one on the back. I think I saw their specs and it looked like it was going to fit, but anyway they said go ahead and keep this open, let's do it now, how the hell do you do this? work boom oh no, I'm pulling some strings here, what he's pulling, it just sets up, but anyway, dude, how do you actually open this thing?

I guess you put it in the

jeep

along a long road and it opens up on the side or something, there's a huge tank, there's maybe like six traps in here, you probably have to take all these covers off, man, and then Okay, there's a mattress there, what do you say? If you want to just throw it up even if you're pulling. up there or we could put it on the floor use it wherever you want to try. I will say let's try to lift this sucker up here to see if it really balances there and maybe just open it up, let's do it without instructions. here's how we lock it on top of that, there's no mountain points, just lock it, there's Howie like yeah, I guess we're going to have to fabricate this, let's go ahead and undo all these straps and see if this thing just comes out.

Dude I don't want to mention this sucker was about 1200 bucks it made my smittybilt and I would have thought it would come with at least the cover and some hardware that's what I thought I thought it comes with a black stock where you know you cover yourself when you're driving, but I have to say this too: they probably got one of the best prices in the game right now because those tents can range up to three thousand dollars or three four thousand dollars. a tall model, but dude this should work finehere and I like the color, you know, it's exactly how it matches the wheels, what can you say?

That golden tan color, but go ahead and try to break this sucker and see if I can climb on it, this thing is nice, pretty big here, let me open up some skies, I think so, oh, nice look, it's a skylight, I think which also, it looks brighter here, oh yeah, I mean, it's already good to know how. How much Windows does this thing have tons of Windows? I have to say it's actually a good deal because we also found a bunch of other things to cover hardware, mounting brackets, a ladder. This thing is pretty cool, but I think it may be a little too big for this platform, actually, you definitely know, man.

I mean it hangs off the side too much. I think we just ordered the wrong one, but it's pretty big here. They could probably sleep like four people here if they really wanted six and two dogs, but I don't know how. I'm about to go down because we didn't install the ladder, man, you know where this would actually probably work? Our free apocalypse will be the tallest pop-up tent in the world. Right there, let's go ahead and actually, break it down, put this sucker on the forklift and just put it there and see if it works, because if it works, then we won't have to return it to order another one, but for the most part we'll have to.

Order another one for this Jeep unless we make the full roof rack and throw it on the roof too, so I don't know if they will do that, maybe you would keep this roof rack and order a smaller one, but anyway, Go ahead and try it in the beam of the Apocalypse, so look at that guys, we finally have the tent on top of that Apocalypse. Riggin, it's pretty crazy. I've never seen that before, but I have to say it was pretty high once. you're up there and also we're definitely going to have to secure that sucker real good, hey, that might work, although it might work because we've got those little steps on the side and you can probably crawl up there, it'll be a little bit sketchy, but that's just for people who just want to, you know, just wander around and you just know you want to take a chance.

You know the people who want to go out and go to the extreme while you're camping, but it's going to bend anyway. On top of that, you won't have that overhang right there, but right now, once you have the tent up, you'll have a little awning that's pretty cool. I guess when it's okay, yeah, you can just get up. down there and it's not blocking our type of solar panels at all no sir that's the perfect setup it's definitely probably going to ruin that sucker. I guess that's a keeper, isn't it?
