He was about to turn 23, so it was like. four months before I turned 23. So the strange thing is that I started my channel right before Ethan's current age and actually a lot of my other friends are getting older and it's crazy to see that now you have someone like Tommy who is coming up content and he's 16 years old and he's the biggest thing of last year on Twitch, that's wild, so many people are growing up so fast at such young ages that I hope everyone takes care of themselves first of all because that's a lot. pressure to put on you at such a young age that I couldn't even handle it when I was 24.

I was 24 when the channel hit 1 million subscribers, so so many people are starting on YouTube so young, I'm 16 now. I did it. I have Internet in my house, so that will tell you a lot about the current trajectory of some people compared to the early days of YouTube. Growth is different for everyone, but everyone has to start somewhere and everyone has to start with a certain setup and a certain video. It's easy to see everyone doing it now and be like, oh, you started there and you had a great team the whole time and then you look back at the older videos like no, we started nowhere. I started in a log cabin with no front camera, my webcam we had recorded at 15 fps and I used that as my microphone on my caller and that was it and I had a shitty computer that had like a 560 back in the day so I just start with what you have and keep growing and keep creating content and eventually you'll get there.

It's a tough business, but everyone starts somewhere, everyone starts from scratch, but I hope this is at least interesting to watch.
