makeovers i basically take old beaten up squishies and give them a makeover repaint them add things to them change them and in the end i have a nice custom designed

decorating we have either white cake or funfetti why am i even asking we're doing funfetti first we prep our baking pan here we go it is slightly bigger than our cake here we use cooking spray or shortening ah here we go why is it so dark outside it's freaking 11 o'clock what is happening oh it is kind of dark out there it is kind of frightening anyway we don't want to skimp on the cooking oil because that makes it

ly hard to get the cake out so that might be a little much so
i'm just airing on the side of wow that's way too much oil set that over there now the cake part into oh wait is that what we do in with the cake mix could use a little more sprinkles in there in my opinion do you know what i'm gonna use the mixer you're heavy totally just spilled that everywhere hopefully that doesn't throw off the ratio one cup of water hot water or just water just water oh that smell good one half a cup of oil so just like any oil oh that was an

to the baking pan that's a lot of oil in there just trust yourself don't second guess i think that's enough into the oven so my cake is in the oven i'm waiting for it to

fill it wait i saw this on a cooking show take something flat like this and then you just there's air fart there we go we've got our orange checking my cake put this in the refrigerator to cool down back to the icing whoops i guess if i keep on doing these videos eventually i might actually get good at baking we'll see alrighty i got all my colors here's my cake ah so now i need to ice it i think i'm just gonna do one coat of just plain white so we just take a hunk of icing
and just kind of smooth it over yeah there we go i believe they call this the crumb coat and another one bites it okay now the decorating begins i'm a little scared i don't know how to do this but we're gonna we're gonna attempt it so i've seen this technique on baking shows and such they just pipe the different colors around the cake and then they use something like this it's a

r's blade so here it is look at that grip whoa it's like a trough bringing in the
colors now just take our piping bag you just pipe it and turn it oh don't drip don't drip don't trip don't drip don't trip don't you dare there it is now if you thought that was scary this is where it

ly gets scary literally nobody is scared besides me oh crap my cake plate has a dip in it so i'm gonna be doing this like at an angle i didn't think about that at all shoot shoot shoot shoot i actually might have to transfer this i'm panicking crap i can put
it on this could i just slide this underneath this is a bad situation this is a very bad situation ah this is what we're looking like now i'm just happy the cake is still in one piece let's try this again yeah so it's not uh beautiful and perfect i will say that much maybe it's not that bad it's so messy but it ain't done we have to create the pink drippiness on top so i got these i'm gonna melt these and try to pour it over top this is not gonna work what if
it's too hot what if it melts the icing off would that happen all we can do is try so this just goes in the microwave it's so hot maybe if i like froze the cake for a little while i think that's what i should do i just put the cake in the freezer in the meantime i do have something that i can work on this is fondant it's like edible clay that you can make decorations out of i got basically every color on the planet so that i can make the little rainbow decoration first of all i
need to make pink let's start like that whoa not exactly what i was expecting it's like rock hard that's disgusting i just lost my nail polish oh my gosh you're kidding right that's a rock is this stuff stale there we go it's starting to soften up look at this compared to the pink no it looks like a tongue this is not working for me you know what i should do i should color it with these gel things instead yeah yeah so now i have to break the house oopsie i don't
know why the orange smells fermented does fondant go bad so now i just have to build my rainbow there it is it's derpy as anything it's huge oh my gosh i'm gonna take the white fondant and try to build the clouds there's my rainbow i did my best okay this whole time the cake has been in the freezer and this has been drying i probably should have taken the spoon out first let me get out the little angel oh little angel she's still alive i'm still worried that this is
going to be a tragic mess but i just have to do it i just have to do it this one's going this one's going it's hardening crap on a stick look what i just did this is so messy the chunkiness is just not appealing what have i done okay i'm gonna go ahead and put my rainbow on there it's probably too big for the cake it's so ugly there's got to be a way to smooth this crap out i just need something

ly hot blowtorch but it's not done notice this one the clouds are
pearlescent and it's got these little pearlescent little so let's add that to this masterpiece so i got this crap which is some sort of edible glitter okay let's be honest this is one of the ugliest cakes i've ever seen globby and clunky and chunky and i don't like it i think if i did it over again i could do a better job but trying to figure this all out for the first time not knowing how to do any of this stuff i made some mistakes but i'm sorry just a couple of
rainbow cakes there's only one thing left to do eat it are you supposed to cut through the chocolate oh yeah there we go the stupid little piece of cake the cake's good oh look there's a stress fracture there's no way i'm consuming that okay i'm gonna stop playing with this and i'm actually gonna go because there's a huge mess in here that i get to clean up now i hope you enjoyed and i'll see you guys next friday bye
