Mar 30, 2024
yes, but you can't say it. because you're honking through the little viewfinder, so yeah, yeah, but how is a kid supposed to even know what a macro lens is and why those images don't appear when you shoot them that close? That's what I thought it was just a book by someone very close to me it was like bait this guy thinks you can write a book about being close to look I'm even closer it was terrible damn anyway I had to skip it in the ribbon dance I really liked those rows and I had Polly Pockets mm-hm, I didn't really like Barbies, but I did like Polly Pockets because I'm a Virgo and I like small things mhm and it was very cute, but now, as an adult , I think it's a horrible choking hazard, things were that big and you would do it and it was stupid, yeah this wasn't a train wreck, I collected cards and I collected sports cards and Pokémon cards, oh hell yeah, I still I have a lot of my sports cards, actually, which is a really cool thing that I'm glad I still have because I collected them.

I know you do. We have always moved them to every house we have lived in. It is important to doubt that they are in the sleeves and everything. I used to train him with my friends at all the good card shows. I used to wear one of those as puka shell necklaces, yes, but mine was a little different, but that was something that was definitely trending for me. The puka shells were great if you had them. puka shells you were sick I've always loved chokers, yeah that's never changed. I have always liked wearing a choker. I think there was a period when we were in college, obviously, I couldn't wear jewelry all the time.

You get in trouble because softball, well, like in that period of time and like a little bit after college, when I thought I'm good, I'm an adult, I didn't wear chokers and then I was like no, more Joker, yeah, let's get back to that. yes yes that's funny, yes, I was going to say puka shells and then also frost tips. I did that, you did that, yeah, my war was like orange tips because I just did a bad job, you did it yourself, no, I think my mom, my mom, yeah, I'm pretty sure. my mom did it I definitely didn't go anywhere oh no actually my mom might have done it once but my aunt did yeah he was a hairdresser and we lived in Boston so we would go visit them and while I was out there like on Theresa, can you dye my hair? and she would do it in her kitchen and yes, she had blonde hair, she had orange blonde hair.

She had an earring. I got my left ear pierced, that's what I always ask everyone. Now let me try to put an earring in there. You know, people have asked me to get my nose pierced, which I feel is a hassle, and by asking, you don't have to get it pierced. You know, so you could get one. of those little fake magnets, if you wanted it for a day, you know, eh, I'd rather try it and then get a hole in my nose, yeah, I have no desire to get my nose pierced, maybe it's just because I think that's how it is .

It looks great on some people. I totally agree, I really like it, but it's like I think it would bother me too much, yeah probably, even though Democrats are trending, I don't know, it was kind of funny, it took a turn, I did it. Don't expect to remember that story, man like Livestrong, of all the things a sixth grader would want to spend his money on eBay to buy something. It's weird, it's weird and it doesn't make sense. It's like everything revolves around what's great and what he's going to do. you look great, yeah, it's a struggle not to be so dumb and that was like all of high school for me, just trying so hard not to be dumb, well I remember, yeah, in high school, I totally remember that I had LIVESTRONG bracelets, but that's how it is too.
I think, like you said, at their height they were a little more expensive, like 10 or 20 dollars. I remember it was like five or something, but I think the whole survey is that a lot of the profits go to cancer research and I guess in retrospect, it seems a little harmless now because I've totally read comments about some people saying that only kids who wear Gucci and Supreme are cool at my school and I'm like, oh my god, it sucks how much parents charge for that, it's a lot. It's like it's a lot more expensive to be a high school student these days and be cool, I know, but it's also like you.
I remember even with the Sambas, right, I think it was like $40 or something, but it's like you knew the speakers hadn't done it. really hit that peak where they're at now, where it's like $100, so get a good pair of sneakers, you know, that was a reasonable price range there, like 40 50 $60, you know, it wasn't crazy, but for a child buying those shoes when they're going to grow up, you know, in a year or two, it's like it's an investment, you know, and for a parent to like to spend money is like If your mom loved you very much and wanted you to fit in.
She wants you to be happy and comfortable, that's why they like to spend money on you to make you feel that way, you know? But I would feel really bad trying to explain to my son that I want you to feel that way, but Gucci isn't what he's going to want to spend on. $800 on a pair of sandals like it's not because I don't love you, dude, it's because that's ridiculously expensive, yeah, you know that, yeah, but it's hard when you have that kid mentality, wouldn't you do it, lady, yeah Will my parents love me? They would help me do this right.
I know why you wouldn't guess. I won't, just get me. That's all I want. I'm easy, okay, just buy me this and I'll be a good boy. Yeah, I'm like. My niece who asked for paper towels and orange is a Christmas idiot she is a literal gem remember Nike SB no I can ride a skateboard what was that just a dream? woke up what's my PSP thanks skateboarding was their shoe line that still exists. I'm sure, but in high school I was a little obsessed with them, they had a lot of different cool color combinations and most of them were five hundred dollars, so I bought knockoffs, because that's all I can afford and there was one called Heineken.
I don't know why I remember this, but it was like it was the color of Heineken, so it was green and red and it was the shoe version and I bought the knockoffs and I thought these are cool and I wore it to school one day and one of my friends on the baseball team who was like a real troll, I think he probably heard me talking about them to someone because he was excited about it and that we had a Greek theater at our school. At an outdoor Greek theater, we would often do strength and conditioning in Greek, so on Tuesdays and Thursdays we would meet at the Greek and do Sprint's up and downs and stuff like that, so it was Greek day, like that that we went to the Greek and I changed it into my baseball training outfit, obviously different shoes and we do this thing that day where we run up the Greek and then crawl down which is like hell for the top of the body because your shoulders are like supporting all your weight all the time. and your shoes are getting heavy because it's like it's cement, yeah, so we're making a pair.
I'm like exhausted, everyone's tired, relax this and then I look at Logan and I'm like, what the hell is he wearing my shoes while? he does this and he wanted to prank me by taking my new shoes and scraping the hell out of them while doing it, I was so angry I thought how dare you mate? And he's older than me, so I couldn't really do anything. I thought, but I was so angry, I thought, you're funny and how you do that, that's a crossed line and it's funny, but why would you do that? and I was so angry and they were ruined, ruined, that's not, no, that's okay.
Like in one of those weird stories, I feel like buying things that were knockoffs online really wasn't something for me or trendy until I got into college, yeah, and realized that everyone, period, bought Those, all the girls I knew were fake. Louie Vuitton because Holt, that pretty big von batch or whatever, it was mostly Louie Vuitton. I lived in Boston, it wasn't something where I grew up. Once I got to Boston, I got to college, everyone had these fake Louie Vuitton purses. Read fake Vuitton, think Paris Hilton from the 90s with that similar print and then the rainbow one came out and everyone was losing their minds so everyone had a fake one and I never felt the desire to buy a fake one or I was like, yeah, Ashley.
I know you know you don't have a $300 purse, okay, let's go to the grocery store, we live together, we can afford to eat cucumbers and buy a loaf of bread, okay, don't take your $4 out of your $300 Louboutin bag. You're broke, it's so funny, you pay the same rent as me. I literally see your wallet right now. There is nothing in it. Yes, but she does. I even bought knockoff Pokémon cards, but it wasn't on purpose. I think he was trying to find some weird ones. Cards and I bought it on a website and they came and I thought the back of it wasn't the right shade of blue, no, but yeah, knockoffs are like

trends

, they're like yeah, you know, it was a big trend when I was in the middle.
In high school too, I don't know why, but all the things I really liked were like toys or things you can go out and play with. Do you remember Devil 6? Yes, I do remember them, so they were like two sticks and then there was a long one with tassels on each side and you would let it go like this and you would throw it up and there was always one or two kids at school who were too good at it and then I He said, "Okay." Dude, I didn't have any, but I wanted to try it because I liked that it looked really cool, so I would do it and I would squish my fingers like it hurt me really bad and then they would say like that's why I can't have devil sticks, but thanks for let me do that, yes, devil's sticks, I remember them, it's like a kind of baton, right?
It's literally three batons against six and then one that is thrown in the middle. the sticks, yeah, Peter, what are you doing? She's like when I'm rolling on the floor. Come here, oh, you have God. Well, I want to see what you remember about the

trends

you were a part of when you were kids, because I know we are. I will have missed a few and I know some of the ones that will appear in the comments will be like: OMG I can't believe the dunkaroos Bagel Bites strudel toaster fruit by the foot fruit roll up now I'm just naming what is TYT why toys yes hats , it turns out that they would be worthless.
I saved many of mine. I like that my mom gave me a bunch of them back and then I had them around the house and Peach destroyed a lot of them. but what I used to do was take little earrings and I would pierce all of their ears or noses with my earrings and that's where I kept my jewelry, which is actually cool, it's in my hat, baby, it's cool, yeah, I never did that. that's so good that my mom gave them back to me most of them had ear and nose piercings that's funny what an efficient way to give likes that's a very good thing thank you yes so the little worm won the rainbow worms yes you had kinda cute, no, I remember the rainbow worm, yeah, yeah, wow, those were fun, I really like them, well, they're the trends.
I'm curious to see what we forgot or what you had as part of your childhood tendencies.
