No, so

people

keep

stealing

my

merch

andise. Hello guys, welcome back. I bet they didn't think they'd see me again so soon. I usually upload a video and then dig myself into a hole for two months. It's a nice hole. I play Playstation there and sometimes. Now I stream on Twitch, which is cool. The hoodie I'm currently wearing is my

merch

andise. I've had it for a while. I released it probably about a year ago. I really can't

keep

track, then it disappeared and I changed freight company. and now it's back, normally that would be an ad in one of my videos, but today my video is about my merchandise.

In late 2018, I made a video that included a joke of me holding a sign that said hikes so originally. I did merch with that sign, it worked pretty well and thanks to a lot of

people

who watched my videos back then, they were very supportive, it was really awesome and now some people use it at live events that we do that I can see. people who supported me, you know, in 2018, it's really cool after it ended. Leyton Stallard, follow him, he's a great artist, he sent me this design and told me that he thought it would be a really cool way to relaunch merch and I've always dreamed of it. to not have merch that is very focused on me, but merch that is more of a brand in itself, not like you know, I'm sure there are a lot of vloggers who think that my dream was to create a brand, but it's like it's to have merch I don't want it to be my face I want someone to say hey, that's a cool hoodie and it has nothing to do with me, but if you know who I am and you see someone wearing one of these on the street you could say: " Hey, I like your videos, that's my dream, so I take these things very seriously, so when I launched the new site, I wanted to see how easy it would be for someone to come and buy me and my merchandise.

More Interesting Facts About,

people keep stealing our merch...

I found it to be very difficult and that was for a specific reason and that is because the whole internet seems to be

stealing

my stuff. I want to emphasize real quick before I talk about all of these things, the merchandising support has been incredible. I'm actually working on making it more of a brand than just my merch because you guys have been so supportive of me, it's really exciting and fun, but as I'm trying to build this brand I'm discovering that there are like a billion versions of my merch theft on line so I thought I'd explain to you how bad it's gotten and I just want to talk about it because what's going on and what man made me want to make this video was that I used to have a store in T spring t spring is a site fusion where it's pretty much created by the user for each store, they allow you to upload images and you can create your own merchandise and sell it, and it's a very practical approach that you don't have to worry about. about shipping or anything like that, but I personally found that as I grew on YouTube I wanted the quality of the merchandise to be higher.

I wanted to have more control over how my store and all the launch materials looked. I don't know if I have it now, but Teespring didn't even have hats at the time and I wanted to make hats, so I couldn't be there anymore, so I found that when you search for Eddie Berbick products or Eddie Berbick walks online, the first The result is a Google ad for a teespring store that is not mine and claims to be my store. They have a copyright system but it clearly didn't work for this store and was completely ripping me off.

I removed the images from the store and Teespring responded and they removed the store completely. I thought it was a good way to handle it, but here's the problem and why I feel conflicted. Teespring removed the store but the way they automated the ads kept Google promoting that link so when you search for Eddie Berbick products looking to support me it still shows up as teespring when you click on it sure the store doesn't work but now it's an ad on teespring's homepage so teespring self promotes the stores on their site and now only as number one on their homepage results promoting my name on my merch and that sucks because I looked and my store is on page two now your thoughts must be that any of your merch is on page two, well then what else fills the page? many other stolen products, if you just go to the Google Shopping results at the top it's just item after item after item of my design and my old design is sold on other websites claiming to be my store if you search for Yankees products . on Google Images the results are crazy because of the amount of websites that advertise these fake t-shirts and that is a big problem for a couple of reasons, first of all, I don't make any money from it and I want to say that I have NO financial problems because these People are stealing my merchandise.
The support for Ike's merchandise is crazy. You guys seem to like it a lot. When I took it off for six months, I was getting direct messages every day asking where the Yegg store was because they wanted to buy merchandise, so yeah. I'm not in financial trouble because of it, but I don't want these people to benefit from the people who want to support me and also from Layton's cool butt design. It's amazing and you can't just copy and paste it. He worked very hard. on it and I paid him for it, that was the exchange, why can this other person make money from the Prince?
When some of you sent that you accidentally bought the wrong product, the prints look horrible and it's embarrassing for me. Not only would someone see it on the street and say, "Oh, that print sucks," but also, if they don't know it's fake, then they'll think I just ripped them off and gave them horrible merch and they wouldn't do it. . do that to you I would never do that to you you see me kissing the air that means I care the third reason is that these websites are sketchy and when I was looking into it they require you to create accounts and provide your email and shipping address and billing address and their credit cards and their PayPal and it's like I don't trust them so someone because they think this looks cool and they like my videos and they want to support me now they're going to give their information to some scammer and I'm the source of that , the guilt I feel, I hate that thought so much that I also forgot to mention while I was recording that Google ads also promote my merchandise on YouTube when you search my name, so if you're just looking to watch my videos on YouTube for mobile.
There are scam sites advertised on top of my business. How is it possible? Why Google and YouTube? I have no idea what this is and some of these are funny. I saw them. this website which is one of the many results for ripping off my merchandise and I found out ooh it's on sale maybe I should buy it then I can't miss out on a good deal sure I get them for free but it's a deal so Ya I clicked and it took me to a website that said Jeep premium at the top and instead of a men's t-shirt it said boys' t-shirt and you could select a strange range of product options, including a rabbit fur baby onesie for Oh, March!
It would be great if I sold that, but why would I sell that there are a couple of them that are just ridiculous? They sent me one that was a photo of hike merch worn by someone and then what appears to be I got a whisper just so you know, I don't want this video to be flagged for politics, but there is a Trump Pence logo in the corner . I don't support them and even if I did, I don't want my merchandise to be politicized with our campaign label. a politician, why does that look horrible? This is the site and if you search my name on it it says Eddie Berbick Rainbow Yikes Shirt.
There's a five star review of my merch and the review is any Berbick Rainbow Yikes t-shirt, which is the thing so it's like reviewing an Italian restaurant and they tell me what you thought of the food and I say spaghetti, the variety of something weird that advertises my merch is crazy and the thing is it's not just me as a creator so I want to throw a little bit of this video out there for my good friend Drew Gooden. I love Drew. I respect it. He's like a YouTube big brother to me. I have nothing but positive things to say about Drew.
So let's talk to him a little. Oh, what's wrong with you? I'm going to cry, I'm going to pee your pants because someone took your merchandise. I never heard of something called the roadworks vine, that was me. I did that road work ahead. Yeah, that's not my job. I feel like my opinion on counterfeit road freight ahead has changed. At first it always bothered me a lot to see some of you, maybe you remember, a couple of years ago, when I got really angry because it was like a Twitter parody account that I already hate because those accounts only steal memes and somehow make money . and on top of that, they were also selling stickers that they had made with popular Vine quotes and I was very upset because it's like if you make something original, everything you make is stolen from someone else and you're profiting from it when the people the ones you're stealing from them don't benefit at all, so I ended up doing probably the meanest thing I've ever done in my life and I thought, well, if you're going to steal my quote, I'm just going to steal your design and sell it myself, but that stupid Twitter account isn't the only culprit here.
If you're looking for roadwork products, you'll find hundreds of results on Amazon Etsy RedBubble, especially there are a few designs that I see that I legitimately enjoy and have no problem with. with someone taking something I said and creating an original design around it, that's cool, someone hand embroidered it on a hat, there's only one in stock because they made it by hand, so it's like, what am I going to send him to my lawyer after this girl who just did this for fun and to make a couple of dollars from it, I don't really care, but on the other side of the spectrum there are things like this.
I really love this rectangular design on top of a circular pen. I think it turned out great. The interesting thing about this is that it doesn't matter how original the designs are, although I'm pretty sure each one of them violates Red Bubble's terms of service Red Bubble is a community based on respect and recognition of artists. Remember this when posting jobs in the red bubble. By ensuring that all work you upload consists of your own original ideas and does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property or publicity rights, this will help us foster a creative and supportive environment. that's red ribbon and besides going against everything, red bubble means stealing other people's work and passing it off as your own, it's against the law, which I'm glad they have that stance, but it's also weird because their whole website is More or less like stolen quotes and pictures of people's faces, like if you search for my name or Danny's name, there are stickers that are like photos from our Instagram that people then sell like that, it can't be a legal right nor this photo of me and my wife, this is so strange again, how can the red bubble say they are so against copyright when clearly people are selling other people's photos?
Don't I actually own the copyright to my own face? I don't know how that works, this picture is just the album cover that Danny made for our song, this one says Road, yeah I sure work, I hope it gives you some head, oh that one's cool, it's like a works in progress sign the way, but you're drunk, they have shower curtains here, holy shit, let's see. I like this one is cool, they drew him like a construction worker. It's a cute design. That's fine with me, but a lot of these, as you can see, are just the words.
What the hell? Why is it so small that it costs sixty-four dollars? to get that tapestry with the road work printed in the corner here's another one good uh yeah I'm sure I'm working I hope it keeps going I don't know what else to say in conclusion this is out of control there's no way I'll ever do it I will be able to prevent all this from happening. I also don't care much about the road work ahead meme, specifically that was years ago, I was like 22 when that occurred to me, I don't know, I almost don't know.
I don't even relate to that anymore, like I know I did it, but I'm not like, oh, you have to give me money if you're going to read those words. I think it's a little silly, that red bubble says, hey, you can't. You do this, but then they don't enforce it, like their whole business model is to get creators to take other creators' designs and then everyone benefits from it, but they're like, "Don't do that, but we're not going to stop you either." . If you do anyway, thanks for letting me be in your video, Eddie. I'm going to buy one of your t-shirts at Teespring.
Thank you. Thanks, right. I didn't like how bad that start was, but it's okay, I still love you. dude I don't know what the solution is because you know internet scammers will always be there but I think my big problem is sites like teespring that have these automated ads where the first result of my merch is now their homepage and my merch is on the second page, so obviously you know this was like a nice addition to my merch. I'm not going to hide that fact, it's clearly that I only want you to buy my stuff if you think it's really cool when you wantuse them.
I don't want them to think I'm financially ruined because of this. I've had support on Twitch, which I've been having a lot of fun with on YouTube in the past, not on Patreon anymore and with the merch it's been great, but what bothers me is that people see how things are ripped off from me and the only The way to do it is to have my link at the top of Google, obviously I would like you to buy my merchandise, there are their sweatshirts and their long sleeves. t-shirts and hoodies. I created an Instagram for it.
It's called Yikes official store, where I'm sure in the future you know we will have real models wearing this stuff, we will announce new releases, but again, if you're not interested in that, that's okay, I'm a youtuber, if not you like merch, then you don't have to get involved with It's totally fine, but the only thing I would ask of people who watch this video is to put the link in the description below. It's like this, shop comm. I'm not asking you to buy anything but Google results are based on how often links are clicked and Visited and I need to flood my site with people visiting it so we can move up the results because I have tags like merchandising and Eddie Burbank and, oh, where Google advertising should be in those results and how much stuff has been copied.
Me being offline for a while has made this link so far down that people can't find it if they're just searching for it, they can only find it from a direct link of mine. I don't expect you to buy anything. It would be great if you like it, if you want to pick something up, but if you could at least open the website in your browser and have the results show it, that would mean a lot to me because I just hate the idea of people being scammed and if they searched bareback eddie products, you should be able to support me and not support these scam people who will scam you, maybe steal your information and give you a shitty impression that is nothing like what the real product looks like.
So again, thank you for giving me the time and listening to me about this problem and again clicking on that link, it would help me a lot, so I better put my outfit back on. Do you really think I look like that? Do you really believe that oh God? I surprised myself in the mirror and I look like me.
