Paris Bakery Tour | The BEST Bakeries in Paris!

I'm in Paris so today on Preppy Kitchen we're doing a

bakery

tour

of a bunch of delicious and amazing places, many of which you suggested lots of delicious things to try so come on these

bakeries

are spread all over Paris so We have a car with us today and we will go in and out to collect all the delicious things. Many of these places don't have indoor seating, so we'll grab everything and take it somewhere nice and comfortable so we can try it out. test at the end of the video, first stop in the store, it is one of the oldest

bakeries

in France, founded in 1730 by Louis XV's pastry chef, he actually invented bubba rum, which is one of my mom's favorite pastries , so I'm going to have one at least and then try something else too, come on, this place is so beautiful inside, it has that wonderful old Parisian vibe that I love and it's also packed with all kinds of delicious things.

Brian and I are putting together all kinds of awesome stuff. but I'm definitely going to have an eclair, some of those bubble rums and oh my gosh, those macaroons look good too, take a look at this, we have a couple of bags, uh, these are the tarts you recommended, this is a beautiful aroma, honoré and a coffee. Eclair, this place was really dangerous as our first stop because it is packed with amazing pastries. The store totally exceeded my expectations it's so pretty and amazing but now it's time to go to Beau and I so next we're going to a bo emmy or boned me and they are known for their chocolate croissants they are actually famous on Instagram, so I can't wait to try them.

I hope they have them in stock, unlike other bakeries and belangers that will visit Beau and I. It has tons of seating, so we're going to grab a lot of things, oh my gosh, beautiful croissants. They highly recommended the raspberry one you can see here, this pink and white one, of course, I'm also going to buy that chocolate croissant I heard about. like a vanilla slice, also known as custard, which is why almost every

bakery

has these amazing vanilla custard filled pastries. It's like a baked custard with a puff pastry base and if you know this channel you know I'm a fan of creamy vanilla stuff so I'm definitely picking one of those raspberry ones too, it happens to be Brian's favorite so He takes the first bite and let me tell you, I was not disappointed, it is so delicious and I love the way it looks, this chocolate croissant also looks almost perfect, I grabbed it. a couple of these cookie cutters this one is filled with pistachio cream and it's like melted pistachios one of my favorite flavors of course we have chocolate hazelnut one oh my gosh this cream is so good I want to make this in the channel Also, there are a lot of ideas percolating so you'll have to excuse me, Brian and I tried our cookie cutters, he had hazelnut and I had pistachio and it's very good, but it's beyond delicious and you definitely need it. a large glass of milk or coffee to accompany everything now that we are heading to a central correlation.

Did I mention how beautiful Paris is? I haven't been here for a few years and this city is just stunning, especially on a day. so, full of delicious things, we just found out that one of the owners of boeime founded the venom boxing brand, which i had never heard of, but brian knows about boxing, so he knew, he changed careers and opened this store which is so good now we are going to cedric grillet in la bora cedric grillet is one of the most famous bakeries currently it has these amazing sweets that are famous on instagram and tik tok funny story this was our first stop of the day we arrived here at 10 o On point, but I didn't realize they opened at 10, only four croissants.

They have the most amazing and beautiful croissants I have ever seen, but I wanted to come here because of the fancy pastries I see on Instagram and everywhere and now. can i try it in person i hope there isn't a line the lady said it's wednesday so it should be great let's go back to cedric croy there's no line i'm so excited that they have their fancy cakes outside there's barely any line like that it's Something very good, the only thing that There was a lot of traffic on the way, but I'm really excited to try these guys out.

I hope they have the little apple that looks like an apple, but it's an illusion once you're inside. On the first floor you can see people making some of the amazing sweets, there are croissants on one side and cakes on the other and if you have a reservation you can go up to the tea room, everything looks great and I'm going to buy a lot of them, although I can't finish it all, the good thing is that I have two young children who would love to receive some treats when I return, so I totally scored. They have some beautiful cakes there and their optical illusion today is a giant vanilla.

Bean, so look at this one that's covered in vanilla, it's so pretty, I'm going to enjoy them off the busy street in the meantime, to the next place, uh Brian, who has the worst traffic in New York or Paris, what do you think Are they depriving everyone? New York is pretty bad, I feel like it's a disaster to cross the city, New York is the worst, with ups and downs, that's true, I haven't been a real New York traffic in a long time since we lived there, well, I'll prepare so now we move on to a very different type of bakery, the most famous offering of this one has a flavor that is very near and dear to my heart so I can't wait to try it. our next stop is mamish they are very cool bakery known for their orange blossom brioche they have some wonderful donut cookies which I also want to try and it smells so good in a second you walk into this block from this bakery so here again you can see people making all the delicious things in the window that I love and the bakery is filled with so many amazing baked goods.

I wish I had more time with a bigger stomach to go to the next bakery. It's actually quite close so let's keep walking now that we're in Dizzy Day, it's a very delicious bakery, many of you recommended me and I heard I should have the chocolate pistachio snail so I hope it's available and I also want the cappuccino, we are very excited because they have those chocolate and pistachio snails. I will definitely buy one. We are very lucky because today we have the

best

weather in Paris. It's like a beautiful clear spring day with a nice breeze and in the shade it's almost perfect.

I'm excited about these cappuccinos. Well, coffee in hand. we go to the next place, we get to jan kubera, delicious natural cakes, there are things that they are very well known for and it is a combination of textures and flavors that is supposed to be divine. I got a lot of lottery requests, but I've been there, they're in Los Angeles, New York and we actually found them at the airport too, George loves macarons by the way, so like I said before, a lot of the places just They didn't have seats, it's also very noisy in Paris and they don't always love it when you film in their cafes, so we'll take all our delicious things to Versailles.

The other day we found the perfect spot for a snack in a local park, so let's park and start opening all these delicious boxes, okay, first of all, we're going to have the Cedric Grillet pastries, starting with the croissants, these It's the guys we get early in the morning, it's so perfect, it's like, it's like a dream, croissant how does it taste? It tastes basically perfect It's like a perfect croissant to avoid coffee in the morning Croissants are just a morning thing in case you didn't know, what maybe I was most excited about I had a bit of an accident in the car I stepped on it I was in a fun place given so this is the vanilla cap slot before and now we can tear off some it's filled with probably vanilla mousse and it's covered with thousands of vanilla beans oh my god that's amazing such a complete reveal we went to Cedric Growley, it was too early for fancy cakes, we went to the next place, then came back and it took up a lot of our time, it was worth it, it was worth being in traffic for the next one.

We went to the store, the store, the store and that's where baba rum was supposedly invented. I have no verification on that, but I just want you to feel how this liquid feels, oh, that's what it clears, that's what dripped so smooth, that's a perfect bubble rum. come see this is very spongy and light inside it is very cute you are not going to like it also in the store we have a beautiful santo honore they have them in different sizes I am going to take a bite these are like glued together, there is a delicious puff pastry for stuffed shoes of cream and there is also a lot of chantilly chantilly cream chantilly on top I have a strawberry tart that smells amazing tartlette framboise okay, oh, no sentence, this is how I'm going to take a bite, my mouth not open, take a look at it before you eat it all and just because I'm a fan of eclairs, I bought the coffee eclairs, this is really good, it has a very strong coffee flavor, you want to try it, it's like drinking a cappuccino, yes, that's a lot of coffee.

Like, then we went to boa me and we actually had a ch, we got a table there which was really nice and they had that amazing raspberry croissant, they had the oh they had the custard slice which was really really nice I know they enjoyed in the car we made for mamish this is a great bakery that I was able to go to thanks to you because it was because of your comments in the community tab when I asked for suggestions this is your thing yes they call it a cookie and then they had a fritter cream filled or a cream filled donut that's good this is like a donut it's like a cream filled donut much better than many of the ones you get anywhere else it says the cream is fresh cream this doesn't last more than a or two hours before it starts to dissolve, so it's fresh and no different.

Yes, it may not seem like a big deal, but it is one of the top suggestions for going to mamish. It is a brioche with an orange flower aroma. Okay try it so making brioche in the canal this is flavored with orange blossoms is not nice and appropriate for versailles because it had the greenhouse here with all the orange blossoms this is like a giant cream puff covered in cracklin I think hmm where is that? So, Brian, I'll tell you. This is all basically my dream come true because what I like to dream about the most depends on, what was another suggestion of yours.

They are known for their chocolate and pistachio snails. Some of them have snail faces. It is green. That's good. You want to try? I am getting so full of this that we are saving a lot for the kids to try it too, we are not going to leave them out, it was too much walking, driving and waiting for them, yes, but in January they were incredibly beautiful. desserts this is for you it's like your favorite framboise tartlet. I asked her what I should try and the very nice lady told me that this chocolate um noisette or chocolate and hazelnut cake is a must do but OMG the bottom just came off and there is some white stuff. cloud inside it's lovely it's chocolate with hazelnuts there's something again like a praline inside you get a number of flavors right yes omg but the texture is amazing this is a key lime pie like a key lime it's like magic, This is beautiful, it's again. such a great set of textures full of pears the boys love it they love pears they are like obsessed with pears on this trip okay john so what was your favorite it's kind of a tie I loved all the slices of custard we got for the custards So there was one from Cedric Grellay, there was one from the store and then there was another one from uh, I think desi panda day, yeah, what about you?

I loved that vanilla stuff I stepped on. It was really good even though I stepped on it. wait, wait, wait, I actually forgot about that one that was my favorite, yeah, that was amazing. I would like to eat many of those. I love the in-store bakery, it was beautiful inside and overall I would say it was probably my favorite place, yeah. I was so happy to be able to travel around Paris with you and explore all these new places and I want to thank everyone who gave me those suggestions in the Community tab once again because they were an amazing place to start this adventure.
