PAINTING in Microsoft WORD!? - It works so well!!

Jun 08, 2021
When people ask me if you like art, I say a

word

that was very embarrassing. Very sorry. What I don't regret is that in this video we are going to try to see how far we can take Microsoft Word creatively. This was a couple of months ago with PowerPoint and I was surprised at how good it was at animation. Then I opened it up to you guys to see how awesome it could be and the mines exploded, so I'm doing it today. I'm going to dabble and later in this video I'm going to dive in and see how

well

I can make art do something really cool.

Start by figuring out the creative parameters and then we'll end up making something cool and then I'll be. I'm going to open it up for you with a little bit of competition and some giveaways, so stay tuned, but let's start with a little bit of raiding and the first thing I'm going to do is, oh cool, okay, this is what I'm talking about. As for the guys, I put a stylus on it and it's so good, oh it feels so good, it's like correcting lines. These lines look better than any I drew in Adobe Flash or some damn anime

word

program, which is obviously the best way.

More Interesting Facts About,

painting in microsoft word it works so well...

We're going to be able to make art in Microsoft Word, but let's see what you can do with some of the basic tools. We'll start at the most basic level before we get to some of this fancy stuff. I'm just going to hover people, there's that thing like, you know, people like random letters and characters, there you go, love, hard eye, just scratched for you, actually, no, that's not it a good example because it has like blocks and things. made of text, like people just like silhouettes or use characters to make art, we're not going to do that maybe in another video, let me know in the comments, oh table, I could do pixel art with tables, insert columns, insert rows. than a few times, now the question is how tiring and time consuming will the shadow pixels be that we make, uh, let's make a pretty simple classic smd character to start with, I'm just coloring the squares one by one. time until I finally realized I didn't have to do it one at a time, thank goodness I can click, drag and select rows and sections.

Obviously I'm limited to straight lines or square selections, but hey, anything to speed up the process and complete. the colors were pretty simple, I just used the default fill options on the home screen at the top and apart from the defaults you can choose a custom color, so really any color is possible and you can do a lot more deep and elegant that I made it here, but I'm just dabbling, I'm dabbling, we're starting a simple job, our way up, just wait, okay, this is my zelda link art, a little thick around the hips, look what it really is. something cool, oh, give it little pupils.

I'll be honest. I don't know if this one passed the test. I'll have to consult with my Zelda expert. Okay, come up here, yeah. I need to ask you a question, right? you are the expert, that's how you know, as an expert, we cut them with laser, what is that shield called hyaline shield? Yes, and what is that type of teacher called? Look, I tried to do something. You are the expert. I don't even know. I know if I did it correctly, so I'll scroll up and tell me what this link is. Yes, it's a good link or a strange link.
It's a good link because I have traffic around it. He has the triforce around everything. right, I did it right and we're just getting started thanks for helping, very good, job

well

done for artwork number one, let's move on to the next page. I think we could do these art

works

one page at a time, but I want to see what other resources we have at our disposal here images, shapes, icons, 3D models, smart art graphics, images. That's kind of cheating, but we have shapes, so I'm going to make an artwork using just the shapes and the shape manipulation options.
What are icons? That's a separate thing. look how far we can go with this and okay this is my beautiful scene created using the shapes with the exception of his fancy glasses that were from the icons and there they are, I chose those glasses and I could also fly on a plane from the distance. There you have it easily, the most useful part of the shapes is the free form tool that you can click and it points to lines like this, click, click, click, click, click, and then if you click and drag, you make loose lines and then you can also press Shift and it will lock between the dots.
Original 3D models. What you got for me? Microsoft. What an orc. Give him an axe. Castle. Little orc. Small knife insert. Do I receive them all? I think I do. This is also a 3D art program. this is my new digital art major program what are my options here? I can rotate oh that's good that's not bad

microsoft

okay I'm going to compose my first scene are you ready I need a big castle that's cool man let's send it to the back so it's behind everything and this little one it could be his little bubba, bring him here, here we go, oh my gosh, this is so cute, okay, this is where it's going to be a little tricky because I don't think I can put it.
This ax in his hand I don't think he can, what a shame, he has his limits, he carries it on his back, there you go, he has his ax on his back and then sends it back, there you go, I think it's the best we can. otherwise we just draw a shape for the ground, give it some green grass with a bit of gradient and send it to the back arm, there you have it, not surprising obviously, I have some limits there, robots like the head of the design robot, that robot, these legs, this is it. weirdly cool, okay, people with robot character design, okay, he has his arm, that's cool, there you go, copy and paste, can I turn it around?
Oh, this just changes the rotation. Oh come on, it may not be a full 3D design program, but it's trying. Next is the important thing, let's delve a little so, what do we have here? This is the pen, actually, the quality of the lines is surprisingly good. Can I change the color?, format. Yes, that's the color. Okay, you can change the. color, I was trying to make a super clear sketch, there you go, so I have a super clear sketch. Now I can select my line and make the outline of my character black. It's frustrating as it is and I mean, look, it's not really an art program. these, these lines feel really good, the line thickness variation and the responsiveness to the pressure sensitivity of the tablet are not bad.
I think we could do something interesting, so I'm about to dive into trying to create a substantial piece of art at Microsoft. word and frankly if all I do is jump in and try to make something that looks cool, I don't know, I feel like I'm not going to believe my own attempt when I do it, so I actually find one of the best ways to Surprise yourself with something you do that's cooler than you expected is to dive into the concept you're working on, so I decided to dive into a story where I wanted to convey a scene and that's what I'm going to do.
I share with you today, let me know how you think I'm doing, so come with me on a journey into the future as we forget the shackles of the current Microsoft Word Art program. The year is 2090. The world is not the utopia promised in the 20th century. However, it is also not the uninhabited wasteland prophesied at the beginning of the 21st century, but rather the Earth is a bloated mess of interwoven national laws and international treaties where governments fail to meet the needs of incredibly large numbers of people while giant corporations sustain the metaphorical soul of the masses, humanity's efforts have avoided apocalypse after apocalypse, managing to avoid open war and even curbing most of the catastrophic effects of climate change, but the cost has been the fire of progress, we have not yet spread the hand and claimed the worlds of the solar system. we covered it in previous decades we have not even achieved global understanding or utopian peace we have not risen from the mire of ambition and desires to something close to enlightenment instead, humanity festus is an empire prostrate on slave couches barely thinking wage earners working their lives simply to sustain their way of life eat sleep work repeat a deep-rooted malaise looms over humanity even the technological wonders around us seem to exist only to lull us deeper into our monotony, but that is until in On the eve of 2090, the boutique genetics firm Reboot announced a product that woke humanity from its collective slumber.
New you, part biological miracle and part technological marvel, the patented technology offered a new beginning that was more than metaphorical, they offered the ability to create your ideal version of yourself, young, old, male, female. any race or phenotypic combination imaginable with this avatar made it possible for his consciousness to be transferred to him with full rights and citizenship and all guarantees of true continuity of self. At first, people didn't believe it was possible, but the reboot proved it first with its founder and then. The most surprising thing is that with a drone, the robotic spokesperson that had served as the face of the company for a decade was supposedly transferred into a human body and suddenly everyone wanted a new person, representing a driving desire that almost everyone people wanted.
Even the robotic drones that had secretly begun to harbor sentience longed for the promise of a new self and the freedom to exist openly with free thought and action, suddenly entrepreneurship was on the rise and people who had lived contentedly with their drudgery began to think for themselves. and innovate, desperate to gain the edge they needed to make it in the world and even more desperate to gain the promise of a new life in the body of their dreams, but this new awakening was not without its downsides: impoverished dreams and wasted human drool. marginalized. Suddenly they had a spark of hope before them and they rose up roaringly against the powers that be for the first time in decades.
People who had nothing to lose finally had something to gain by standing their ground and fighting. This is professional. He is from the slums and was captured. and enslaved by criminals at a very young age, but he showed his abilities from the beginning, they called him a prodigy, hence he got the professional nickname from him. At the age of 19 he escaped from the criminal organization and set out on his own to steal new ones to claim them. the life and childhood that was never granted to him the innocence that was stolen from him he has no income or home or access to food or clean water he doesn't even have a real name but he does have abilities and a chip in his skull that the criminals implanted in him that gives him They allow you to code cameras and corrupt technology with these skills and more determination than you can imagine, he plans to make his way in the city, destroy the organization that ruined his life and the lives of so many others and demand something. that was stolen so long ago an identity okay, well, I started this video with the proposition that we explored to see if Microsoft Word can be a decent artistic program.
I'm going to say yeah, what this is really like, guys. and I have to say that I am very happy with the results, even with the textures of the pencil tool, which at first I admitted I was very negative about. It all comes together very, very well, it's not an amazing interface and intuitiveness when it comes to creating the art. but you know what you can do from the way I was a little cheeky with this character's story because it's actually my character's story in the current Table Top Times campaign.
