Oxiclean for Grout vs Toilet Bowl Cleaner for Grout: WHAT IS THE BEST GROUT CLEANER (& FASTEST)

Hello, welcome back to Andrea Jean, cleaning and organizing for busy women. Today we will clean my

grout

and test it with three different products. We'll try some oxygen cleaning. We'll try the good one. old baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and last but not least, you will test my kitchen

grout

by cleaning it with this Clorox sticky whitening gel, so let's see which of these three products is the

best

for cleaning my floors. I have some. I have gloves here just to keep my nails pretty my rings I have some rags I'm not going to scrub them too much guys I'm literally going to see which one cleans all the dirt the

best

and I'm going to show you here in a minute my floors are disgusting we've lived in this house about a year and a half now I have never cleaned them nor do I think the grout has ever been clean and then I have two

s here to mix the solution for this one and this one and this one of course I can go ahead and put it right on the grout lines with this nice nozzle here, let's take a look at the grout now, okay, I'm zooming in and out here, so this is next to my stove and the kitchen sink where there's a lot of traffic, but yeah Look here it's completely black, all this is disgusting.

I am. Working with that, I'm going to try to make it as nice as possible. Oh yeah, let's find a place on my floor here where it's not so unpleasant so we can contrast how it's supposed to look. We are simply under a window in my kitchen, where we cannot stand that frequency. Well, the autofocus here isn't too bad, but you can still see the dirt. This part actually looks pretty decent. Mm-hmm, let's see if we can get through this. grout to shape it and see which of those three products works best.

I'm going to use these three squares, this one here will be for the bleach, the next one will be for the baking soda in the hydrogen peroxide and then the third one here will be for OxiClean, so for the next one here.

I'm just going to make a paste that I'm not going to measure or anything, I'm just going to watch it, so we have the baking soda dump that's there, I mean, I'm thinking a tablespoon is going to be good, so I can watch that. and then I'll just pour in the hydrogen peroxide. I don't want it too thick, so we'll just stir it in and see how it got here. Okay, we'll add a little more. I should do it, let's see, yeah, oh yeah. I like the consistency of that. Let me give you a close up, so this is a consistency I'm working with.

I think it's nice, not too thick and not too thick, and again. I just looked at it, let's slap this baby, let's take a look at this one here, so we've got it all set up down there. I didn't get that last advantage here, but that's okay, we'll still be able to see. a good comparison, so again we have the bleach here and we have hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and next we'll move on to TV OxiClean for this square here again. I'm just going to make a pasta. I have some hot water. that the ingredients here in OxiClean are fully activated.

I'm going to open this up to probably about a tablespoon again, maybe a little bit more because we saw it with the baking soda and the hydrogen peroxide that I couldn't get my hands on. I can't go around that corner, so it smells really good. I'm going to be a little less generous here with the water. Stir that again. This water is nice and warm. It's a little thick. now I want to try to make it a little thicker together here, let's try this one, let's clarify if your order here is the consistency of OxiClean, this one is a little harder to thicken and we have OxiClean. down there so we have our three squares as far as ease of application, hands down the

wins here and I also anticipate it will be better for cleaning purposes as you can see here.

I'll give it about 15 minutes here. and we'll meet you here and we'll go ahead and clean it up and see which of these three babies did the best. Okay, it's been about 15 minutes. Let's go ahead and get to work so we don't confuse things. I have three separate bowls of the hottest water I could get and I'll soak them in while I'm cleaning it and again I have two cloths here. I'll probably put one in half since I have three tests here. Put on some gloves and let's start scrubbing. I'm going to start with the bleach, so I brought you here as close as possible.

You don't need gloves, but I like to clean with them if you watch my cleaning videos. I always use them in the kitchen and bathrooms, so again we have hot water here. I'm going to half measure this one and see how it goes again. I'm not going to scrub, I'm just really going to clean it. The mother is happy about that. Wow, let me change the angle here so you can see. Alright. I really reached out to you. Watch this. You can even see the dirt here on the side again. I'm just grabbing my cloth and moving. along the grout line, it's sick.

I love the smell of bleach. Now I've seen this done with just Lysol, so I guess any type of

cleaner

for the most part would work and looks fine. Yeah, okay, let me zoom in. I come in to show you so you can see the dirt that came out of it in the bleach here on the side look how much better it is let's move on here it's pretty good my friend for not even scrubbing it or leaving it and cleaning it. away, okay, I like that one, let's move on to the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda now again, I've got my cool warm water here and I'm just going to take the opposite side of this cloth that's not diluted in anything and I'm going to use that. that dip it in there now let's see how this one comes out it's definitely a thick paste here um hmm let's do this right let me bring you closer so first of all it's going to be a pain to clean up. above, can you imagine if I did my entire floor with baking soda and peroxide how much cleaning I would have to do?

To be honest, it doesn't look much different than when I started, so there's the hydrogen peroxide in the baking soda. bleach toilet bowl cleaner, okay, I don't love that one, okay, let's move on to the oxygen cleaning and see what it did here, I have a new rag here again, taking some water, so we have, oh , that's a disaster, oh, wow, oh, you know. The kids can already see what's happening here. Wow, okay, I have them very close here with OxiClean. It's a huge mass first and foremost and I honestly don't think it looks much cleaner.

Let's compare them all side by side. side now here's the Clorox 12 OH cleaner here oh boy hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and oxy clean I think we know which winner is for sure so I think we've found our winner here goes with this 12 cleaner Oh this is absolutely amazing all I had to do was easily place it on the grout line and it cleaned so well I am totally impressed with it in fact in one of my next videos I will be cleaning with me cleaning motivation videos I will be working on .

This whole kitchen looks at everything that grows, it is a large kitchen with a lot of cultivation and we are going to shape it with this. I'm just going to take my mop and mop on it and again, this was about 15 minutes I put in.
