Before we get into a couple of the exterior elements, we have the cedar channel siding and we have standing seam metal. roof as middle siding if you notice the way it has a framed header that goes over the actual well with the same header over these windows so it was really easy to frame and it saved some weight and it saved a lot of lumber to make. In that way, this small

has a thick frame on a trailer that is 24 feet long and eight and a half feet wide, simple and elegant on the outside.

Let's go inside and see the inside. It's quite nice. Here we have a nice little entrance area and we bring your coats and living in rural Alaska, how to do it, we don't have a goal, we are close, so pretty much everything has to be made of tight entrance shells and much of from the sun comes from the hardware store, these are really cool because you can hang a lot of things on them and I made baskets just for books and little hooks for mugs or keychains. and it's just amazing. If we're going to create this open space, you have to have some bed to go to, so my solution for the bed wedge is to lift it up and I do that. for about $500 with parts available at the hardware store, just some sliding door hardware and a garage storage lift.

I'll show you how it works, so there are some pins here and you can set them to whatever height you want. I just drilled holes and considered flattening the cable because the bed is no longer supported by the garage storage system, it is supported by these pins. You can see that it is extremely sturdy, there is absolutely no wobble. The bed now rests completely on those pins that are there. screwed to the wall so the beds go down and these little coffee tables really work in the center. You can place them here and then just go up and jump on the bed.

Oh, this is amazing, the bed in the low position, you'll notice it goes right next to the TV. and the artwork on the wall, the client wanted three things to defeat it, he wanted storage, it was comfortable and he wanted it to become a guest bed, which was like a very difficult task because every ID I could think of could only get two. a sofa bed there is no storage space you can get a futon but there is no store and that is not comfortable so I have racked my brain living here in Alaska where you know to help at a craft store and the cushions are Very expensive, but it finally occurred to me. take a full size foam mattress and then cut it into pieces to make the cushions and create this section that had storage underneath and just lift it up and there's a lot of storage space under here and then lower down.

I'll show you. This is just a piece of mattress that I cut with a knife into three pieces and covered it. I took a quilt and basically turned the quilt into a fitted sheet so it made sense, it was like a ten minute sewing project and then to make it on a guest bed, we just have to put the pieces back together so you see two pieces here , there is a third piece missing and I will show you how it works. Remember I told you this guy had a third purpose, so he's perfect inside. You are the cushion, this nice little backrest, now we have a real full size mattress that is very comfortable with all the stores out there.

Underneath, it's easy to do, just place a sheet on top and hold the pieces together and your guests will have a really comfortable place. to sleep and we are in boss mode, this is not only a small living room where you can watch TV and enjoy the view and entertain yourself, but it could also double the work service, so these coffee tables of course, you can function as a normal coffee. They have storage so you can put many things inside them, so the cushion can be folded. as a portable desk, put your laptop here and work, you can eat here, there are many options with this.

house is that the client wanted a desk, a table and some storage and now we have achieved the storage here for the dining room and work space. We really had this open area and we left this little house the first time I had the problem of having too much space. I didn't really know what to do with it and I certainly didn't want to take up the entire space with a giant table.

I knew I needed storage so First we started with a storage space and we just built this shelving unit right above the wheel well and I wanted to hide some of the stuff that was in it so I built sliding farmhouse doors and just used the pipe flanges from the hardware store. and I made it up so that you can access everything that's on this shelf and it's hidden, so one of the keys to the

tiny

house is having attractive storage things, but of course there's more: you can take these doors and turn them up on the pipe bar and you can turn it directly into a desk, then you can take your cocktail with you and have a chair, of course it does even more than that, fell on a really big loss table or, to lose more weight, the 1.2: doubles form a small table.

I really love it in this mode because you can have a his and hers step, so the best for the table worked really well and we were able to achieve this open space and then see a hundred square feet of nothing that you just stretch out, invite your friends to do yoga, sit at the window and watch the northern lights. We're going to go because we wanted all the covers open on top of the cabinet, you know, the cereal box video and it occurred to me, you can just take this cover off this part of the entryway and the pantry, now my client has a place to put a cereal in and I can sleep at night so we won we loved how the kitchen turned out it only has a sink and the client wanted to have a microwave and an induction burner so will add those later but there is a unit washer and dryer combo in this kitchen, let's see if you can figure out where it is, maybe we're top shelves and I just wanted to keep it really simple, you just win by tens that are painted and then there's a plant shelf on top, it's a really lovely place for plants oh this is just a metal angle we cut and screwed to the top and the drawers come out we made the countertops they are really simple just vertical shapes laminate contact cement to the top and then we fought this edge profile that I just glued it on a really easy and quick way to make a countertop that is lightweight, very durable and looks good so there's a great thing here and we have an under counter refrigerator here and many drawers and the trash goes underneath and more drawers and more. storage here we had a frame on a wall between the kitchen and the bathroom and I thought why not create a storage center on that wall, so this is just a one by six and it's actually the frame for the wall in your storage, It is a great place for a small snack.

I've thought about bolting the load to the shelf so that when you transport them the jars never come off, but you know that's an option if you move the little house a lot and then we have a barn door that we fill in a fly for the bathroom so you can close the bathroom fairly easily and there is a little more storage on this wall here and another thing is the shower hardware here so you can remove this panel if you ever need to work on your shower II of an access panel there is no window to the bathroom so on top of the frame we just cut pieces of plexiglass and put them in there and let light into the bathroom so we have a water heater it's easy tankless it was really easy to hook up can't wait to see how it works and then we have a composting toilet and since the composting toilet was quite tall I made this squat potty that you can take out and use and put away pretty easily.

So we need a place to hang clothes in this small house, but I was very honest B, so I thought: how about we could space out in the shower? What if we put a closet that was hanging from the ceiling on a slide and then you could slide the closet? Also you will use it as a normal cabinet when you are showering, it can actually disappear and someone commented that they have this idea of ​​covering the shower head so if it ever drips it would go down the shower curtain and protect your clothes, so that when you lock the cabinets in the shower position, the shower head is always protected by the shower curtain, so there is much less moisture problem and then when you want to shower you can simply unhook it and bring it in back here and at the club, we can go back to the shower. and your bathroom is back to normal with zero base steps, pick it up with a closet, so that's the bathroom and that's pretty much the entire house, but we haven't found the laundry room yet, how do you guess where it is yet?

So it's my least favorite. Part of any kitchen is the corner because you have that corner space that is pretty useless and very difficult to use well, it just so happens that the corner space is exactly the same size as a washer/dryer combo. I'm just trying to figure out how to do it. works and this is working, my client is only one to do laundry once a week so I put caster wheels on this cabinet and there is a place for the washer/dryer combo here, perfect size, the hookups are underneath from the sink and you can still access here just the closet to put away the dirty clothes and put them back in their place and you don't even realize that they are recently in the laundry center in your kitchen.
