bay family it's been so long yeah the last time we saw excalibur was buster excalibur yeah , man, it's been so many years since the last iteration. Like an eternity since Buster Excalibur, so this is the Excalibur Xiphoid starter set and of course it comes with the

There's a lot going on in this box when you turn it back, there's like all these different graphics telling you about this release. so obviously we're going to have to go over what he talks about mode at the top. Oh my goodness, so much happens with this bait. Is incredible. Pays homage to the original Excalibur design. ize the gear drive, you can customize the spin drive, so this is an epic evolution of the sword launcher and then next to the launcher graphic, we have this graphic here, this image showing the different modes with the

excalibur, so of course. when you start the bay for the first time it starts with normal mode and then once it's unlocked a couple of times it activates ichigeki mode which is basically one shot mode or one hit mode so which becomes very strong and then that's when the db core activates it. extra metal that moves all the weight to that point on the sword and then hits much harder, but it doesn't stop there because you also get the bu lock which is such a simple but amazing way to make your bay explode even less. make those blocks even stronger so the bu block also activates pretty much at that point so not only does it hit harder but your base will also be harder to exploit so it shows you some focus points there in the xanthus disk and behind the database core, there are so many features and tricks that you can really appreciate the little details, which is basically the core of this version.

Let's make a great purchase overall, you guys have to buy this one. Actually, I haven't even opened the bay, but we already have to tell you that you need to get this incredible look, how big this sacred layer is. It looks pretty bare right now but I'm sure it will look a lot better once the decals are on, they look thick, okay bbgs here we are with all the parts, they look so fresh. The decals were very satisfying to get nice and big and obviously made everything stand out a lot more and let's start with the database core.

It has the big x in the middle highlighted by a blue sticker, it looks so cool, so nostalgic, this db core actually has two special features, so of course the metal sword, the main body of the sword, It's actually inside this db core, it's actually recessed when you first launch the bay and then after it unlocks twice it will actually shoot out and then all the weight is concentrated on the tip of the blade, so in our previous caliber design we saw the tip itself coming out as an activation but with a side for the excalibur activation it's actually in the middle of the sword inside the db core, yeah it's nice that Takara Tomy really mixed it up here , integrating the metal sword into the db core feels very modern, excalibur now keeps up to date, so once the sword appears you have to reset it every time before starting it, so you just have to remember to click on it again in the second very important feature that is actually on the back of the db core, as you saw on the back of the box, this db core features the bu lock, it is actually very difficult to tell, but there are two very very tabs small ones on the back of this dv core that will fit with the xanthus disc to give you that extra strength, we'll delve into that a little bit more.

Once we review the xanthus disc, but this is a nice subtle feature that Takera Tomy came up with and is probably very effective, well, let's move on to the bu xiphoid blade. Yes, really, they went all out on this xiphoid excalibur and we're not even done yet, so next up is the xanthus disc. The shape is quite abnormal, as you can see, it is kind. of round, the disc itself has the tip of the sword concentrated, yes, exactly once the bait is unlocked twice, the xanthus disc would have moved a couple of times and the tip of the xanthus disc should line up perfectly with the tip of the leaf and as we were talking before, the xanthus disk features bu locking, so you need this disk in combination with the db core to actually have the bu locking feature, it's a little hard to detect, but if you look closely the metal tabs where they would normally be as a symbol engraved on this disc that helps you distinguish which disc it is.

Instead, these tabs have raised metal pieces and make contact with the plastic tabs on the core of the database, which in turn makes the bay harder to pop and is a cool feature the guy told me. taker. What they are really talking about is that the record will stop playing, it blocks it so hard that in reality there is hardly any movement on the record. Now let's talk about the armor like any other armor. There may be a distinguishing feature, but generally there isn't much to say about the armor pieces, so with the armor piece, as the name suggests, there is a little extra weight at one end of the armor piece, that is so cool that the armor itself also has that protruding point, so it matches pretty perfectly, yeah, keeping with the theme at the end, but it's probably the least of it.

I got that sword controller so this is an upgraded version of the sword controller that came with a tighter spring lock from Buster Excalibur obviously making the combo harder to pop. The moves with this one were kind of like ah cuz there's two real ones with the sword which tends to get scraped a lot yeah those bumps on the controller don't even line up with the dots on the rest of the combo so it's really useless in the original, if you leaned over a little bit, it would touch the floor of the stadium and then you're kind of screwed, like you killed all your stamina, so that was the bay, but before we really put it together, you can't forget about the new launcher custom sword.

I'm going to mix that name up for sure, but this is it. Guys this is the new sword launcher overall it still looks very similar to the previous iterations but you get the new db system or db launcher system so it comes with the power gear unit of course like the one that was originally introduced. you know, save your valkyrie and then the spin drive, this is like a normal one, but you can change this too. The sword opening cable doesn't actually come out unless you have your gear unit here, but this one is also very similar to the previous one, so yeah, double twist.

There are some little engravings that say l and r, so you can use it with the left and right turn. Hopefully this won't break as easily as the digital sword launcher and the original. but I have a feeling this will actually be a little longer lasting. I think this bay is pretty memorable in part because of the sick man of the sword thrower, that first generation shop thrower. I personally feel that it is still relevant today. Yes, I agree that the sword launcher is It still feels pretty good when you use it, but it lacks power now, so I hope this one really makes up for it.

Now it's time to prepare the bait for you, so I think it's actually easier if you put the armor on first. like this and we'll put it on low mode obviously because that's the best mode for the most part we'll lock the tabs and then we'll put the xanthes disk like this driver oh pretty tight well there we go that's the full xiphoid excalibur . Alright, so turn on the disk as well and when you unlock it twice, there you have it, you can actually see that the point lines up directly with the blade, so you have the sword from the point or from the xanthus disk, the point from the blade, the point from the armor and then the body of the sword there, the main axis of the sword, there are actually so many sword tricks in this bay, so many things lined up, okay, let's weight the bay so that the complete combo It weighs 79.01 grams, not bad at all, so it's not heavy.

As much as our Gatling dragon, obviously this weighed over 80 grams, but it's still a pretty heavy combo, less than a gram shy of hitting that 80 mark and of course we have to do a test battle with Science Excalibur fiction, yes, let's go three two one. It looks so sick in the stadium that it sounds like it's hitting hard, but oh yeah, so much resistance is missing, although I really feel like a rubber driver will make this big shine definitely need to struggle in the standard stadium. In my opinion, this bait is pretty sick. The biggest weak point is the Sword Dash controller, but it's like you can change the controller. Will be great. It's been so many years since the last iteration, so it's a no-brainer. You have to buy this bait and you also get this sick launcher, it's so powerful and it feels so good when you use it, it's a must have so it's pretty much like this video, subscribe and as always.
