So to start, I'm going to use these white terraces or frames from Dollar Tree. For now I'll only show them to you on one of the three doors, but obviously, if you want up and down, then just duplicate everything. I start with three of the white frames and just remove the ink with a utility knife, once the ink is gone I set it aside and take a five by seven silver frame from Daughtry, take it apart, remove the tabs and all that good jazz and I reduced it to four pieces. Now these are the easiest frames to take apart, by the way, but now you want to glue the longer pieces of the frame together, so I cut a little piece of dowel to join the two pieces together in the center and use some small craft sticks or popsicle sticks to secure the fixture, so I glue the craft sticks all over the bottom of both frames.

I just want you to know that now would be a good time. to paint them if you wanted, I should have and I didn't. Next, we'll take the three boxes and put them in place, and the really awesome thing about this creation is that you don't really have to measure anything here because everything will automatically line up for the ends. I placed each frame against the bottom of the long frame pieces and because of the angle, they will sit at an angle, like I said automatically, so you'll just want to follow the angle. of the frame once they are aligned along the angle, simply glue the bottom.

Now I'm going to grab one of the 8 by 10 wooden stretched campuses from Dollar Tree and just tear off the fabric. I take the staples. and all I'm going to use here is the little eight inch piece to hold the top on. I see how my hinges will fit on this piece of wood with the middle frame. Now you want to place this directly behind where the back edge of the frame is: don't get the wood too close or you won't be able to open and close the door once you have the wood centered where it will fit touching both frames and will be behind the middle frame, so I'll paste it in place for now.

I'm just going to add a small dab of hot glue to temporarily glue and attach the hinge in the middle for now, that's just a quick little thing I did to make sure my plan for this creation would come together how I have it in mind, You can do this step if you want or you can avoid it, most

s have clear shelves made of glass, but to avoid having to cut the glass I took one of the only clear ones. plastic trays from the wedding section of our

tree

and cut them out with my hot knife and used the smallest, thinnest tip I have for my hot knife.

Now, with the fine tip, it takes a little longer to cut, but it's very, very easy. to create hiccups and get back to normal, plus you won't create any of the big cuts or melted spaces along the way, so I just continue with my knife here along the factory lines and it's more of a lip on the part back of It's very easy to follow these trades, but how the tray is made, so I go all the way making a straight cut on the other two long sides of the tray and then I just place my unit directly on top of the tray and get an idea where I need to trim my sides or my slants to fit the shape my frames were and you want to make sure you trim the edges on the sides of the tray where they appear so this piece lays completely flat now I know mine doesn't it's perfect, but the most important thing to remember is that the tray needs to sit inside the ledges of the picture frames so that it has my little stand and also a little notched piece on the sides where I am. the tray starts to lean in the front like that, the tray lifts up at rest on the side frames or shelves of them and I also had to trim the back a little more to make it fit and fill.

In the spaces, I take some leftover pieces from the tray and cut them to fit my little corners here and they were just two little triangles, as you can see, it doesn't have to be perfect as long as you know they don't overlap. or hives, you know, these huge gaps will be fine, so now I'm ready to glue the three pieces in place and I do it with my hot glue and this is something else that you can skip completely, in fact, I recommend skipping it, but As I mentioned, I should have painted my long frame bottom piece earlier and didn't to hide the raw wood of the weeping sticks.

I use a silver frame to make this and I had to cut it to fit the center piece of the frame and I will just glue them in place and then cover them with adhesive gems. Now, outside of the hinges, there are only four screws in this entire

cabinet

and that counts the top and bottom, so there are two in each section. I have a screw on each side. From the eight inch piece of wood that is glued to the top of the side frames, now the center frame will be screwed to the wood using the hinge screws so that everything stays connected.

All I do here is just drill pilot holes into the wood and then with a medium sized screw the screw should be long enough to go through the wood on the frame and there is plenty of room to play with on these frames just make sure you go in front of the glass and once the screws are in you will instantly feel how sturdy this becomes Now I am ready for my hinges and I bought a 2 pack of hinges at Walmart and these are too small to use when they are in the center of the frame and the larger hinges don't fit, they hang down, so I need to use just the packing hole on a door and place the hinges towards the end of the frame, then I just mark my holes with my pencil, make a hole and then follow it with the screws that come with the package, then I

ate my frames. and for this I use some of the flat back gems that I have from a variety pack and these are in addition to the standard gems and you can find them at any craft store including Walmart and I used to make sure of them and just created a Sun like this like some of the smaller flat back gyms, John gyms actually from Daughtry, he's the one, so I just made my layout like I said at the beginning and hot glued the loose wedges in once I finished

ating, I set up my two units on top of a piece of foam board to get an idea of ​​how this was all going to come together, by the way they fit perfectly on the foam board so once they are there I open and close the bottom door to see how it's going to fit how the door will open in operation and I quickly realized that I needed to create some space between the two units so that the bottom door doesn't touch the top one so I took a piece of foam board and make I mark a 2 inch mark every so often along the foam board and then cut it out with my box blade.

I do this twice creating two two inch long pieces. For example, I place one of the two inch foam board pieces between the top and bottom and then draw a line where the edges of your frames line up here, you just need to make a cut through the top layer of foam without cut completely because the foam or just you know, it bends and stays connected, that's what you want to do. makes the molding fit perfectly between the boxes. I make a couple more cuts and you can see how well it fits across the entire front and between the two units I set it to the side and start working on the inside for this.

I have three mirrors from Dollar Tree. I take them out of the frames and then place each one inside and mark the foam board so I know the mirrors are on the inside between the tall white decorative frames. You don't want the Mirrors should be on the outside of this case. You want to make sure to keep the mirrors on the inside, so next all I do is simply glue the frames to the foam board, the center one will have to overlap and glue to the side mirrors. and the foam board, by the way, so make sure you have the mirrors where you want them when you put them up because I couldn't.

It's stuck on and it stuck very well and it stuck fast and I didn't really have much time to set it up so be careful with that so the mirrors don't cover completely, there's still a lot of life on board showing on the top and bottom, so I just cut to fit some Daughtry's glossy cling wrap at this point there's almost everything left to do. What I do is I just decorate it because I mean you can see it's pretty much done, so we're actually putting everything together and decorating it to trim around the interior mirrors, I use five rows.

It's a Daughtry diamond. I covered the top and bottom and above the bottom box there is a gap and you can see the white foam board here. I also cover that area with more glitter wrap. I cover the sides and bottom, not necessarily in that order after the inside is decorated and the mirrors have set before gluing the center edge, I take one of the two inch pieces of foam board that was cut earlier and I see how well the door opens and closes, but because the foam sticks so much, it doesn't open as well. As much as I like it, I mark and notch a small spot in the foam, a strip for the hinges so they're no longer covered, and now at this point I'm thinking, well, I'll probably have to do that.

Go ahead and paint the raw wood because that can be seen so in case some of the raw wood shows through I just took some white acrylic paint and covered it so everything blended in really well then it's time to glue the Trim down, so I add glue to the wood for the sides. I take a small block of wood and glue it to the bottom of the foam board and the top of the white frame so it doesn't move. Now it's time to glue on the first K's, so I place the first case over the mirrors and make sure everything is perfectly aligned.

I hold it in place and hold it while I lift it and glue around the edges with permanent adhesive and hot glue. a small hangover from life on board at the bottom. I trim it so everything is really nice and even on the bottom and then I flip my unit over and work on the top and just go to Touch Everything Here instead of really covering it because it's pretty much the same thing. I just do the same as before. I line the inside with glossy adhesive and Daughtry's three mirrors are all exactly the same. I measure and mark two inches. from the top with my ruler and then I cut that edge.

Now I take my 2 inch edge piece and this will be for the top. I make the center cuts and fold the foam so you know it has that shape like before. Once everything is in place, I glue it down and add the wood blocks to the sides of the molding. Now this is what it looks like so far and with my hot glue gun I glued the top casing to the trim. I spin it very well. and slow and take my time here to make it look really good now I take a block of wood and I cut four pieces of wood from a little stick and I'm going to glue it all together and paint it white.

I do this twice, so have one for each side, then I'll place the small piece of wood or wood wedge between the frames for added support and make sure to glue it in place really well. Now I will turn my entire unit upside down and you may want to tape it down. You might want to take that photo of the duct-taped doors down here because they're obviously going to open anyway when I lean over. I will simply trace the top part and after each stroke I will cut it out with a cutter. For lighting I have an LED push light.

This is not Daughtry's. I need to get more, but the ones on our

tree

are perfect for this, so I just trace a lot, cut my circle, and set up the light. the hole and it should fit very well and snugly. I would glue around the body of the light without getting close to the battery cover or back so you can access the batteries and ended up tracing and cutting another piece of foam. Work as before for the top and just glue the lot to the first piece of foam and then you can attach the second piece of foam, you know, just sandwiching the two, but you don't want to glue them together. add glue around the lot on the second piece of foam because this is going to make it really nice, it makes it very flush, it's going to eat it up and it's still going to be the place where you can change the batteries now, all of that.

What's left to do on the body of the cabinet is attach the top piece and I just run hot glue around the top and something like a lid. You know, I'm just going to put on the top piece that has the light on it and I finished my decorating and I decided to take a quick trip to Hobby Lobby and get some more adhesive gems for my molding and I'm going to cover the two inch pieces of molding with those adhesive gems from Hobby Lobby and also I added some Of the mosaic mirrors I didn't have any lab but I had enough to go around the top piece or the top foam that encloses the light and after I decorate the edge my hot glue dries on the foam so I can add the other one. piece of foam on top so I just glue them together making sure not to let the glue stickaround the hole or my light, so I couldn't change the batteries when that time came.

Now you can make a spot on the back so you can hang this on the

mounted Cart cabinet or you can stand it up now if you want to send it up obviously you will need to make some legs and for the legs I glued two of full size. wooden blocks and I will link more about the blocks in the description box so I created four legs and ran the bottom of them through a round napkin ring from Daughtry and these napkin rings are made of super hard plastic so it took some of time.

Pushing past them, but adds a larger platform on the bottom of the feet. Now for the two front legs, I took a stick and cut it into three pieces of wood and then I just glued them to the top of the block and this is to make it level because the back has that back frame on the bottom added to the bottom and painted all my little legs white and then used Mod Podge and silver glitter to make them level. I mixed in with the bling theme and made an extra leg while attaching them so I just placed the legs on the frames and I then simply substituted my extra leg in place of the one I was currently hitting and repeated this for everyone. of my legs and I will let the glue sit for several hours and I used a clear permanent glue and hot glue for this, then I took pictures of it and this is the final result.

This is a project that I think you will really enjoy. there's really nothing involved, it's difficult, there's very little measuring and that's really just for the two inch trim pieces and if you want to invest in a super strong construction adhesive you could actually just replace the screws of course, I recommend using the screws, especially since there are only a couple on each unit, other than that it's a lot of glue, so I really think you can create this and I would certainly love to see it if you do.
