program called My Surgical Success. We found, in a randomized control trial of women undergoing surgery for breast cancer, that women assigned to My Surgical Success, who participated in the program, stopped taking opioids five days earlier after surgery than controls. Digital medicine forbehavioral
pain may be an important and scalable way to help manage pain and reduce medication after surgery.
