You might be wondering, Ed, where the hell is the ultrawide? First of all, why isn't the second monitor on the right even on? It was a small incident while I was figuring out the monitor layout in the garage. I accidentally dropped the Top Ultra Ride and it scraped the front and unfortunately the monitor screen got scratched. The scratch is totally bothering me so I went and ordered a new one on Amazon and that's what I'm currently waiting for. The monitor on the right is unfortunately not connected to the Displayport cable because the cable has a short about an inch.

my pc died...

I can't even make this up, guys. I ordered an extension cable from Amazon for the Displayport cable. I can plug it in and it will work and I can finish it off with the ultra right on top. The other thing I want to do is work on some. of rgb lighting so natalie sent me some lines that i want to add around the computer on top and govi sent me some really cool hexagon panels that i want to place on top here it looks a little empty especially when i hook On the ultraride there will be some extra room on top so I think adding those hexagonal panels would be great.

Shayla was here earlier today and she touched my white mouse pad with her dirty little paw, unfortunately I'm going to have to block. the door because now she can come and reach for my keyboard, so one of these days I'll walk in and see my branch on the ground in pieces, I guess since I have new pads today I might as well change this. I really like it. the white Nexus mousepad, although I'm going to have to throw this in the washing machine in the meantime, but I want to show off the new ying and yang mouse pad, this looks really cool, oh yeah, look at that, it's so beautiful, the contrast , man, the contrast looks so.

Well yeah, I'm going to work on some of the cable management anyway, obviously we've got some loose cables underneath, so that's what I'm here to do today. All cables are officially managed. What do you think I did my best to keep a straight path from all the devices across the desktop and towards the small cutout in the middle. I love using these cable ties for this job because they allow me to tighten each set of cables for a much cleaner path. I got halfway through the cables and then it hit me. I completely forgot to include the Gobi neon strip cable so I moved to do that and bundled it all together with the rest of the cables up to the xlr mic cable.
I used a cable clip instead of a cable tie so that I can move freely with my articulating arm but still prevent the cable from sagging. I think it turned out amazing and now it officially looks like a floating desk. It can't be serious right now. I was literally gone for 30 minutes. the points I was upgrading to Windows 11 went up, I took a shower, I even shaved, I came down and the PC is working but I have no output on the monitors. No, this makes sense. The monitors are not working, but they are plugged in. I have restarted the PC several times, you know, let's do a quick power drain.
This is ridiculous, like what could go wrong. I know Windows 11 didn't break my PC or it can. I know it has bugs and some problems, but I never heard of it. destroy an entire computer, that's just not possible, let's plug this back in, the lights are working, I mean it turns on, could it be a problem with the Gravis card, could it be that it was literally working 35 minutes ago? That's the problem, or actually I don't know when. It got off, but as soon as I left, it could have happened anytime within a 30 minute period while I was up.
I even prepared as if the ultra ride was ready. I was going to mount this today on top and finish it, and then the thing happens, what the hell is CMOS in there that never showed up before? What the heck does CMOS mean? Okay, let's clean up mouse C. So in theory, this should fix the problem, so I think there's a CMOS button on the back here, there, okay. the lights flashed that means it worked fortunately there is an LCD screen that shows all the error codes otherwise I wouldn't even realize there was a CMOS error okay we are in memory it looks like it's going to start from the CPU, oh now I'm doing the CPU, okay, okay, let me see there's still no screen, oh my god, it's back again.
CMOS error, dude, what the hell? So we'll have to remove the CMOS battery manually instead of cleaning it from behind the motherboard, so I'm going to turn this off. The CMOS battery, fortunately, is here and accessible, so the CMOS battery fell into the back of the header. How the hell am I going to find her behind that huge headboard now? Oh, someone help me, please, someone sent help. There is no way. in hell I'm discovering that today is lost in the sea of cables you guys oh my god this can't be happening this is a nightmare honestly the only thing left is for the PC to fall and break my neck and I .
I'll just end it all. I'm fine. I agree with that. It is impossible. It's impossible to get it. Oh, it's fine. Unfortunately, as much as it pains me, I had to separate the HDPC from the Loft gaming setup and take out the CMOS. battery that's why because there's no way I'm going to find this behind the headboard this is my only hope guys if this doesn't work I don't know what I'm going to do oh my god I'm going to try not to leave this one I'll be how funny would that be here goes nothing come on give me something man all these BIOS's if I can get them if I can't get into the BIOS there's nothing I can do it has to be a hardware problem.
I'm thinking it's the CPU or the motherboard right now, it can't be the graphics card because we're not even getting to the VGA graphics card test, yeah there it is, it's passing the VGA test, it's even passing a check of the hard drive. although it doesn't have a hard drive it goes back to zero zero CPU code and then the CMOS error is exactly the same so pass the VGA check it's not the graphics card it's the damn motherboard or the CPU but why can it go wrong? After an update that doesn't make sense, guys, I don't know what to do, honestly, I'm not even that angry that the PC doesn't work, I'm just more upset that I have to take it apart, take the system apart. tubes and replace the motherboard or CPU and then do all that backwards and put it back like it's a pain to mount this on the wall.
I don't want to, I don't want to do that. again in such a short time it's been there for less than a week i should never have shaved i should never have shaved i'm going to have to flash the bios that's the only thing i haven't tried it's my last attempt if this doesn't work i'll have to contact asus and made the board so I just hope this BIOS flash fixes everything but if not then I'm so screwed I'm so fucking screwed dude I'm so glad I did it. I still have my wife's PC that I built last year.
I am using this temporarily to download the BIOS files. I'm really glad there's a BIOS flashback button up here as well. It's flashing. Oh, that's a good sign. Okay, it's doing something blinking, which means yes. It is currently updating the BIOS so now we sit and wait a couple of minutes and just pray it fixes the problem. The BIOS has just finished updating. We received confirmation that it was successfully updated. Look, I'm not making this up now. We booted it up please don't let me down baby I didn't do anything wrong I just took a shower shaved and I swear if you turn it on I'll never shave again I'll never shave again detect memory okay code of CPU 69. ha, good CPU, it's good, vga is next, if we get the screen that means it's working, no no it didn't get a screen, it never did this before, it never took this long to get the CMOS there , so it could be a good option. sign okay that's not a bad sign we go back to the CPU we're playing ping pong right now going back and forth I don't understand we go back to the vga hard drive back to the CPU okay I'm confused man I'm confused just give me the damn error just Give it to me I already turned it off that could be a good sign that could be a good sign come on please you missed it now you're just playing with me the light just went off no no no Where did you go?
Where did you go? Where's your car? Oh man, poster, it's new. Do you think it has to do with the CMOS battery? No, it is exactly the same battery. It is exactly the same battery. I checked the exact same model number and all you can still post no battery there is a posting error again. I'm going to try one last thing and if this doesn't work then I'll include the signature requests. I'm going to put the ram back in and change the m.2 ssd in there, if we learn anything from today's video guys, it's don't leave your computer alone when you upgrade to Windows 11.
Oh my gosh, I'm just going to return one device in in case the others are defective. I don't think they are, but you never know at this point it could be literally anything. Uh-oh, we have a signal. Oh, I went out again. It's again posting one more thing, one more thing, one more thing, I promise. This is all. I won't give up without a fight, let me clear CMOS one last time now that we are getting a completely different error. CMOS error. Well, back to Let's go, nice, nice, perfect, that's what I needed. Well, I did what I could.
I can't believe myself for trying, there's nothing else I can do, unfortunately I have to pull the PC out of the wall drain, take it apart and test each individual component to find out what the main problem is, but I'm 99.9 sure it's the motherboard somehow, the upgrade ruined the motherboard, I don't even know, it broke the motherboard, unfortunately, there is nothing else I can do, especially being mounted on the wall, it will be difficult to reach the components and it is full of coolant, so as if there was nothing. There's more I can do in terms of testing.
I contacted Asus today because I was reviewing the PC. They responded very quickly within an hour. They will send a replacement motherboard on Tuesday this Friday, so I have to get through the weekends. and the plate arrives on Tuesday. I can disassemble the PC. I'm still going to test each component individually to make sure it's just the motherboard and if that's the case I want to swap it out and then remount it to the wall so it will be. Lots of work Christ but I hate ending the vlog like this, this is the dumbest ending to a video ever made but there's nothing else I can do honestly I guess stick around and find out what happens to the PC in the next vlog, Yeah.
Thank you all for watching and we'll see you next time.
