Feeling really bad, I had to rush to the end of my shower because Oakley had woken up, so we're just doing some skin to skin before I finish my skin

and get dressed, so it's 10:30. I haven't had breakfast yet. Oakley fell asleep on top of me, he's on the mat right now, but he's hungry so I'm going to quickly make myself some food, hopefully before he gets lost, there's my breakfast. I was craving something sweet and savory, well you have some bites, feed Oakley. my ribs still hurt so much it's so annoying if you've ever had rib pain it's the worst honestly it's been the hardest part of my recovery it's so cute hi ok while oakley takes a nap .

Actually, this is Sage's diaper caddy that we used to have in her room, but she basically doesn't have any diapers anymore, so I'm borrowing them for Mommy's diapers, that's weird. This is usually right next to my bed, um, but I just put it up to the light so you can see from above. I have some, these are like maxi. guys I'm going to have a blog post with everything linked for you, these are the freedom mom undies. In fact, I'm wearing them right now and they're the best thing you need to get and they're so comfortable that they're like boxer briefs, but they're disposable so they're super breathable and comfortable.

I can't recommend them enough. This is a postpartum photo of Mage and it's the exact underwear I'm wearing there. Okay, so I just bought some baby wipes that can be used for. me or my baby or whatever I need them for here I have all my sprays and stuff um this is a new product paranal healing foam I like it, sometimes it stings a little I think it may contain alcohol but it's like a refreshing Healing foam Arnica Gel I have been using this mainly for my ribs because I injured them during the end of my pregnancy.

I also have arnica tablets that I have been taking internally for postpartum. Earth Mama paranal spray is super refreshing, no other spray will do. What I'm using this time again is this Claraderm from Young Living, it's a bunch of essential oils, it's really healing and refreshing, and it's really like an oil spray, I really like it, so I'll alternate between that. and Earth Mama's. I also have some magnesium sprays. This is a leftover from pregnancy because I had the worst restless legs of my

life

. But also magnesium is really good for relaxing you and stuff, so I'm still finishing it, but.
Basically after giving birth my restless legs went away, that's great, magnesium spray a little TMI, but for some this is like a more natural hemorrhoid cream. If you know you're not just pushing a baby around, I have a hand sanitizer spray. in case sometimes you're changing poopy diapers and then you have to go straight to feeding the baby and you just don't have time to wash your hands yet, so that's helpful. Lip balm, nipple butter. I like this one too from Earth Mama. oh, that breastfeeding and back pain, okay, another magnesium product that I like, this one here has like shea butter.
I think I love this one, this is what I would slather my legs with every night during pregnancy and it saved my sleep. legs I also have a breast pump here uh this is a new one that I've been trying out and I really like it, it's portable, but I usually have a couple different ones because one can be in the washing machine or you can be on the go or one breaks, It's always good to have more than one breast pump, so I have them here, my water bottle, let's go down to the next layer, what is this?
A cake, okay, I have some adult diapers down here, these are necessary, definitely get them because During the first few days you bleed a lot and sometimes urine comes in as well, so you definitely want some diapers. These are some ice sanitary pads, so they are refreshing and absorbent. It's like a two in one. We have more sanitary pads here, so I like it. have different absorbency levels for pads because you're going to want different things for different times, like your postpartum journey. I like this brand, they are all natural organic. I have different types. I'll link to them in the blog post, oh, too.
I have a maternity one that I don't have here, but it's in the bathroom for nipple care. I have these silver glasses. I didn't have them for after the stage so I've been trying them out and they're nice because they're reusable and they just cool down so I've been using them. This is a new product. One of my friends at the gym recommended them to me, so I have yet to try them. They are like a refresher under the eyes. patch, but for your pinches, so I'm going to try those. I haven't actually used them yet, but they are paranal cooling pad liners.
Some people also wear tux um. I'm just trying to do it more the natural route, uh, but there's that. or like a dermaplast pain relief spray down here we have the Parry bottle um I have one in every bathroom uh this is great to help clean up after going to the bathroom. I have this amazing muscle melting lotion from Sage Wellness for sore muscles and stuff, especially if you're breastfeeding, it's great for your neck, shoulders, and upper back, so I usually apply this at night. I have my postpartum underwear, which is like real cotton underwear and I wear it after Sage.
I really like them. They're like high waisted black so they're not going to stain and I haven't worn them yet. I'm still in the diaper and disposable underwear phase, but this is just EP and salt for sitz baths or just relaxing. um at the end of the night and yeah, that's all that's in my cart. I have this right next to my bed at night and it's so handy to have everything here at my fingertips, guys it was a workout. I'm still early in my postpartum journey. We've officially been home for a little over a

week

so I just want to share some tips and things about what's going on, it's like night and day from how I felt the first day being home to now so If you feel like I have more energy and I'm walking like that, it's only because I've been resting a lot and not leaving the house.
I've been joking that I'm on house arrest even if you feel like you're doing much better, just remember that. you have a very large wound inside your body and your uterus is detached from, for example, the placenta, so just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there and that's something I constantly remind myself of and I really take it. Easy, I haven't left the house for a walk or anything yet, although my midwife told me the other day that I can start taking short walks and then if I start to feel more pain or extra bleeding, back off a little and Just get a little extra rest Everyone is so different when it comes to their postpartum healing journey, so don't compare yours to someone else's.
I've also been doing my pelvic floor breathing exercises that my pelvic floor therapist told me I can do next. birth I think it's called 360 breathing, but it's been really good to start connecting my body to my muscles and start to slightly strengthen that pelvic floor again because the baby just went through it. I will give more details in the blog post. Also because of how I use these products and take care of my lady parts and my body during my postpartum recovery because I think it can be a little overwhelming, like when you use what, with what, and how long you use things for.
We are all different but I can explain my personal experience and what has worked for me in both births and I really love all of these products some of them like I said are new but there are definitely some staple products that have been really great for me and I just want to recommend them to you if you are looking to build your own postpartum stroller.
