My CRAZY Ride In The NEW Pagani Utopia!

May 22, 2024
foreign speed I have been attending the festival since 2005 maybe 2004 and every year it gets bigger and crazier this year. I'm attending with Pirelli who are presenting three new tires from the show, which is relevant to me because well, all my cars have Pirelli tires on the Ferrari 360, my 911 GT3, the BMW X3 estate and this Jaguar F Type R and in fact Speaking of the Jag, this might be the last time you see this car on the channel. I mentioned it at the beginning of the year and I've mentioned it several times since with the arrival of my daughter I need to change things in my garage and although I think the Earth Time is probably my best all-rounder, it's a Cheetah 2, which makes it Pretty impractical when it comes to having a baby and let's not forget that I've owned an F-Type on and off for the last eight years or so, although I think I might regret the decision and will definitely buy another F-Type at some point. life, for now I'm at peace with letting this go and replacing it with something a little more practical and I actually found out what I'm replacing it with, which we'll look at later in the video, for now, let's get our head on to Goodwood tomorrow, well the weather has turned a bit gloomy but I arrived and excitingly this year chance arranged me to park my car in the Supercar car park which means I am currently surrounded by some amazing things.

I'm actually a little nervous arriving because my car would look a little out of place. I'm one of the biggest F-Type fans in the world, but even I would admit that it's not really a Supercar, but that's okay, there's a lot of variety here. I drive Cayenne in front of me a Mercedes C300 estate a Carrera T which makes my hoodie quite appropriate, but yes, also an F12 tdf and a Ford GT. I think let's take a quick look at this place before we head to the actual event because yes, this is In case this is just a parking lot, Goodwood is

More Interesting Facts About,

my crazy ride in the new pagani utopia...

I'm completely cocky. Now I have a Pirelli raincoat to match my hat, but that's because it's raining pretty hard outside and I'm the idiot who got there first. in speed knowing that it was going to rain without a raincoat, so they very kindly brought me this, which I think I will keep because I quite like it anyway, one of the big advantages for me of working with the speed of the Pro Valley festival. Best coffee in town, Festival speed coffee tends to be atrocious, but they don't mess around here and, in a slightly low-key but very forward-thinking way, Oatmeal that's right up my street, so small, exactly what I needed, anyway, while it's raining. hard and I seek refuge here in the stand.

I can show you the three new tires that Pirelli has introduced here this weekend, one of which I will be experiencing later today when I go out for a run up the hill with the brand. new Pagani Utopia the hype Club the third Pagani model. I'm going to be one of the first people to experience it from the passenger seat when I go up a hill on some new Pirelli tires. It's going to be

crazy

because it's raining and The tires it has are very, very hypercar Focus, so we'll get to that in a second. Let me enjoy my coffee and then I'll show you the tires and explain why the way.

Actually, I think it will be a very lateral experience. which is good, that's positive, so yes, Pirelli introduced three new Tides here at the Festival of Speed, all part of the P0 family. Firstly, we have the p0e, which as the name suggests, is aimed at the electric vehicle market and is made from more than 55 recycled or natural materials and has new anti-shock technology is tired it is about sustainability moving more towards things that they're a little closer to my street we have the new p0r which is something I could put on my GT3 for example it's an everyday road tire but it's 100 aimed at sports cars and finally we have the ugly premium neutral RS line.
This is a semi-slip tire intended for hypercars or at least super performance Focus models like the Pagani Utopia which I was about to experience thanks foreigner, well I headed to the Supercar Paddock which is definitely one of the busiest areas in terms of personal speed this year, there are thousands of people here packed into these kinds of small aisles looking at the latest and greatest from super. and Viper cars and talking about ladies and the best hypercars here is my vehicle for today the new Pagani Utah this thing is wild Looking in person the amount of detail like with every Pagani it's a little mind boggling but it's stuck in its The base is a V12 big old turbo making over 850 horsepower.
The wheels power a manual gearbox in this case and wear those semi-slick Trofeo RS tires, so the first few hours are a bit like this is going to be fun or scary, maybe a mix. of both because yeah, it's still very wet anyway, we're just hanging out here for now. I'm just admiring the car and the other pagans. That hitting before the second, we'll jump out and I'll jump into the passenger seat. four, yes, an uphill

ride

, wish me luck and tell my family I love one thing I forgot to mention about Utopia: it has a dry weight of only 1280 kilos, which is light for a modern hypercar, now the design seems a bit of a fusion between the hwara and the Zonda and I actually think it looks a bit better in other colors than this one, but in terms of driving I have a feeling it should also sit somewhere between the two

pagani

s above , it is assumed to be usable.
A comfortable hypercar that also has great dynamics and driver involvement. Well, here we go. Now I'm inside Utopia and we head up the hill. Look at all the other cars that are lined up, several Bentleys here. Oh, and have time, come on. that's the absolute hero of the F Type 75 Edition rapping engulfing the F-Types on the starting line, a bunch of kernigseggs, there's a Maserati. We are following the Gordon Murray t50, which really sounds good. I haven't said many good things about that car. on the podcast, but sound wise, it's pretty good, but speaking of sounding good, this car sounds pretty good too oh, a Ride On Cue, the driver gives it some revs, uh, I think it sounds different, Huira had a very iconic sound, Zonda that we all know. super iconic sound, it's meaty on the inside and also quite symphonic on the outside, so I'm definitely starting to enjoy a lot of these interior details.
Here's the manual shifter, it's a dogleg first, so a seven-speed gearbox, but your dogleg first, which Hopefully, again, the driver won't forget because that can be confusing. Beautiful details here on the air conditioning controls up here with all the temperatures and then look at these air conditioning vents. Beautiful writing here. Utopia sewn aside. I mean, like with everyone. Pagani, the details as I mentioned are surprising, but apparently dynamically this is very different from its predecessors, which we can discover. I mean, the rain has slowed down slightly, but apparently there's a lot of rubber on the road, making it very greasy, so yeah.
It will be a tentative trip uphill, but at least for me it is very important to have the opportunity to experience this absolutely wild thing, warm up the tire a little. I think the Utopia is perhaps the first car to use the trefeo RS. The tires are specially approved for this type. It has a nice little HP eritre Pagani emblem on the tire. So you know this is a true moment of discovery. For all of us, have you driven this tire in the wet before? No, yes, so yes, wishes, wishes. lucky you heard this is the top end of the ribs it starts to really sing eh anyway we're all tagged okay the t50 just tried to get away from the line and stayed there for about five minutes spinning.
It's Wheels, okay, I'll stop talking now and everyone enjoy running uphill in Utopia, you'll find some Grim somewhere cool and you'll feel the power and I can also tell that we're floating very slowly over the track, oh. Wow, don't worry, it's always hard to get used to, there's no ice here, I mean you didn't have to apologize, I think everyone would have seen that not only was it slippery, it was like driving in an ice event, we were one. I want to point out a few things very quickly. I think the

ride

in this car is lovely.
I mean, I know we're on some kind of purposeful Hill Climb, but it was lovely and gentle. I felt very comfortable winning this coach. I would say it's a big deal, but yeah, I can imagine on a dry day in your time revving this up and warming up those tires and then with that gearbox this goes. Being a very cool car to drive anyway, we're at the top of the hill with all the other cars, it's always a special place to be, so we'll jump in and document this moment a little because I wanted to experience Utopia. and you have experienced Utopia and that has been amazing, it was very surprising, yes the first person to be in the passenger at Utopia in an exclusive paper car review, well I will say it's a lot of fun, it's very interesting, quick revs , Oh my God.
I mean we had no grip because of the slimy semi slicks, but you know you're fine, we still went fast and did things so I had a great time, there's a lot of talking, it's the talking that causes that to be exactly and your gearbox and To a large extent it is the manual gearbox and it seems like it must be safe gear ratios because it felt like absolutely the next. Yeah, I haven't been around to experience it. I'm talking to everyone who is watching this video and has seen what it is. as I'm guessing at the moment, I'm sure, I'm sure it'll be soon, they're yelling at us to get back in the cars, but it's still an absolutely incredible sight, so I guess we jump back in and head back.
Well what an amazing experience, it was huge thanks to Pagani and Pirelli, obviously they weren't ideal conditions to test the New Japan RS but I wasn't driving it and who cares, it was still a lot of fun and I'm sure in En the future, I'm about to see the Trey Islands, the new P0, oh, etc., so today is about enjoying a lot and in that sense, it doesn't stop raining, but it rains less, so I feel like I want to do it . cover a bit of ground now and move around and see what's going on because from the ground of The Limited I've covered, it feels like there are so many new and exciting cars on display here at Goodwood this year, kind of like an ice cream stand before, so I'll probably look at that too, thanks, oh I'm soaked, my once white shoes are now mud brown, but you know it's been cool, as gloomy as the weather has been.
I just think good words look so dramatic in the rain. I enjoyed filming it even though I'm definitely going to be sick after this because yeah, I got soaked trying to get all that content. Anyway, many thanks to Pirelli for the invitation. Call to see new tires. I hope I can move forward. the wheels of some cars with those tires at some point, big thanks to Pagani for the opportunity to climb the hill in Utopia.
