Most Powerful Marvel Weapons

Apr 20, 2024
I'm sure you're ready for that Mr. with me. Things are sometimes filled with mystical power that could destroy the Universe. They have great names. Yes, the swords are amazing and they are especially cool. In the Marvel Universe, there have been a lot of really awesome swords. throughout the history of Marvel and today I wanted to highlight the best of the best which is the

most

powerful

sword in the Marvel Universe well, there are many options, I mean the completely black one, the Twilight sword, the ebony sword, the sword Of Odin, there is a lot to talk about.
most powerful marvel weapons
So let's talk about some of Marvel's

most

powerful

swords right now, of course I have to talk about the all-black one first. It has been introduced into the Zeitgeist thanks to Thor's love and thunder, since in the comics Gore, the butcher god, wields it, but as cool as it was to see Thor and a group of children kick the shadow monster , but thanks to the magic of nekrosword, The Sword We Fall in Love and Thunder wasn't all that funny and it's probably because of all those pesky rights issues that you see all in black. is actually the first symbiote created by the extremely evil null, the all black is different from most of the swords on this list as it is actually alive and loves to corrupt, are you ever using it, yes it has its own evil personality and all, that's why I wanted to place it first on this list, it's imbued with the power of a Celestial, which gives it that extra bit of juice and it's one of the most powerful

weapons

in the Galaxy.

More Interesting Facts About,

most powerful marvel weapons...

I just hope null is the big bad of Venom 3 and then I can get a proper adaptation of this sword, wouldn't that be cool? The Twilight Sword doesn't sound like such a powerful name, right. I mean, when I say Twilight sword, it probably just conjures up images of Edward, Bella, and Jacob, what? If I told you that the Twilight Sword's other nickname is the Sword of Doom, that's more sinister, isn't it? The Twilight Sword has an enormous amount of power and its original wielder was the fire demon, it was created thanks to the burning energy of an entire galaxy and Searcher tried to use it to basically burn the entire galaxy, yes, and it was powerful enough to do it too, so it definitely goes beyond a normal sword that slashes and slashes when the villains want to retrieve and wield a sword that can bring the entire galaxy to its knees, then that's something that probably should never have been created in the first place. and it even appeared in the MCU and is what Searcher used to destroy Asgard in Thor Ragnarok.
most powerful marvel weapons
Curious fact in the comics. Beta Ray Bill actually continued. Finding this sword once, since he most likely won't be able to have mjolnir or Stormbreaker in the MCU, maybe they'll give him a piece of the Twilight sword, you know what they say, size absolutely matters, so Odin's Sword is probably ranked so high on this list, I'll give you three guesses as to who wields Odin's Sword. That's right, it's Odin. This sword has a complicated history so it is huge and it was said that if it was ever drawn the universe would basically end so only Odin was powerful. enough to use it safely and he used this sword particularly when the celestials came to fight to prepare for the next battle.
most powerful marvel weapons
Odin absorbed all the powers of all the Asgardian gods, grew to a gigantic size, and then used the sword for battle in the sad part. Was Odin's sword so powerful and cursed and how would it completely destroy anyone else? It stood no chance against the Celestials who destroyed it almost immediately. The ebony blade is something I hope to get a lot of attention on. in the MCU in the future, at least I hope so, it's a cool weapon and it's what gives the Black Knight all of his special abilities. So far I have been talking about the swords that end in the Universe, but only your everyday powerful swords also deserve love, the sword f.
Not only can he break through any mystical barrier or shield, he can also break through adamantium and we all know how strong he is, we better hope Wolverine isn't on whatever team he's forming with the Black Knight or he'd be awesome anyway. Ebony Blade has a disadvantage: every time he draws blood from an opponent, the user takes one more step towards Madness, which you know is bad. The muramasa sword that Wolverine received to take revenge on his murdered wife had an incredible origin story. To forge it, the madman known as Muramasa used not only some of Logan's blood but also a piece of Logan's Soul, creating a nearly indestructible weapon.
Would you swing a sword knowing it had a little piece of Wolverine in it? Hell yes, the sword. Not only was he strong enough to cut adamantium, but he also had another incredible ability. Any wound made with the Muramasa sword was almost permanent. I can't imagine a normal person being cut with it, but when normally instant healers like Wolverine or Sabretooth were cut with the blade, the wound didn't heal for days, that's huge, so you know the gods, yes there are many of them in the Marvel Universe and they have a tendency to want to fight each other with classic God antics anyway, there was once a war between the Greeks.
The Japanese gods and gods Zeus and Amatsu Mikaboshi, the god of evil and Chaos, went to the same blacksmith and asked him to forge swords for them. Awkward, doesn't that sound like a comedy episode? Anyway, he ended up making two swords and for this entry. I will talk about the God-killer, this was a defective sword, not as perfect as the other one and he gave it to Zeus for battle. Over time, Zeus finally lost the sword and found his way through humanity by eliminating the powerful Emperor Kings and wounding other gods. so yeah, it was definitely a solid sword and since it was wielded by Zeus and has a cooler name, I'm putting it on top of the other one, but let's talk about the other one, it was the more perfect sword between the two and it was called a lawnmower , also has a similar story where amatsu mikaboshi first had it but then it found itself in different hands over the years causing all sorts of destruction.
This one is interesting because she finally found a way back to amatsumi kaboshi after countless years and the god tried to wreak havoc by having Aerys' son Alexander take out Ares with her and while the sword was permanently dyed red with the blood of aerys, Alexander turned the tables and stabbed a matsumi kaboshi with a full circle. I like it when the heroes and villains have all this energy. and they use it to form their own

weapons

, like Green Lantern could just shoot a bunch of green energy from his ring, but instead he uses it to make cool constructs.
That is the basis of the quantum sword that Philavel wields. Phi Lavelle is a hero who has quantum bands that can be used to release massive amounts of energy, all that energy he needs to go somewhere, so most of the time Phi Lavelle used them to create the quantum sword. I wouldn't want to fight anyone who wields the quantum sword. Quantum sword, am I right? Ant-Man has basically confirmed that quantum energy is super dangerous. It's better not to mess with her. Eventually, this sword also took another name called Oblivion sword, so quick, which is a cooler name, quantum sword or Oblivion sword in 2020 cable?
In the series we were introduced to the light of Galador, this sword, although it had a unique name, had an interesting history, so it belonged to a Galidorian space knight named Cry, but he was basically devoured by a cable monster that took out the sword and the Mourn remains of the monster and although he liked the sword, other Space Knights came trying to steal it, the cable overtook them, took them all out and kept the sword, man. Cable's very cool cable would go on to power a sword space station with it, I mean order organization, not a sword.
It's hard to distinguish in a list about swords, anyway, yes, Galador's light was strong enough to power the entire space station, so it definitely deserves a spot on this list. The Phoenix blade is a mystical sword because it houses a very small piece of the Phoenix Force, we all know the Phoenix Force, a large cosmic entity, super powerful, the Fox studio was never able to adapt it properly to live action, yes, already You know, but its history is fascinating, which is why the soul board was originally wielded by Rook, a pure Shiar that he was. The second being to join the Phoenix Force Rook Shear eventually became corrupted and destroyed a couple of planets, so an Imperial Guard was sent in and permanently eliminated him, but a small part of the Phoenix Force remained in the sword and throughout. of the centuries alone.
The descendants of rakshir were able to wield the sword and access its true power, but whenever cosmic entities get involved with a sword, shenanigans, you know things can get complicated, how exciting, so Excalibur is a pretty famous sword. We all know the general gist of King Arthur and where Excalibur comes from, but I'm going to use this time to talk about Doctor Doom, yes, in an Iron Man comic and Iron Man actually travels through time and ends up in the era medieval where Dr. Doom takes possession of Excalibur and uses it to make himself. The incredibly powerful Iron Man is quite surprised when his normally quite durable armor is suddenly cut open thanks to the incredible power of Excalibur.
Now all I want is a fatalistic focus on the MCU and if we find out that his armor is embedded with the power of Excalibur. I certainly wouldn't be mad at all. Doom always loves to use ancient artifacts to further his own desire for power and Excalibur is the perfect weapon for him. Ileana Rasputina is a mutant sorceress who has a close connection to the demonic realm known as Limbo. When she was a child, Ileana was trapped in this realm for years and during that time she used her own life force to magically manifest a sword to protect herself from it.
This was the Soul Sword and yes we're getting to the point where the writers just seem to be throwing out any name to see what sticks, the Soul Sword name actually makes sense since it's an Ileana piece and how much The more Ileana, which was eventually called magic with a k at the end, used the sword, the more intricate the designs would become and the more powerful the sword finally became. Ileana came to rule in Limbo and the sword became tied to that place as if Whoever had the sword was considered the leader of Limbo and only the leader of Limbo could wield the sword, yes, it is a very powerful and very magical Dragon.
Fang is something we've seen in the MCU, it's what Valkyrie likes to wield and it's established there that dragon fangs are types of swords that all Valkyries tend to have, but in the comics the backstory is a little different. , there the dragon fang is a sword that was forged from the fang of an interdimensional dragon and given to Doctor Strange, who eventually passed it on to Valkyrie for her to use and yeah, the MCU is cool and all, and it's interesting that all the Valkyries had these special swords, but come on, they stole from us. from an interdimensional Dragon backstory, that's unfortunate anyway, the comic sword comes with a wide range of abilities such as absorbing magic and the ability to recover the sword in your hand, much like mjolnir.
Warriors of Three Sovereigns is a Chinese Marvel comic series featuring the sword. of fushi according to legend This sword was labeled by null as a divine weapon forged by a star that was capable of destroying worlds, but a mortal wielder could not unlock the true power of it. It is an ancient weapon that is wielded by the descendants of fushi and projects these impressive. Green flames that can be used to cut things or for ranged attacks. It's a lot like mjolnir in that it's sentient and can move on its own, so be sure to be nice to it if you ever encounter it.
Well, this sword was eventually destroyed and shattered, but its current wielder was able to create smaller blades from the fragments and it proved almost as effective, so Might's sword is actually linked to Captain Britain in the original comic series when Brian Braddock was offered the chance to become Captain Britain. He could choose the Amulet of Rights or the Sword of Power. He chose the amulet but the sword definitely has merit. It has been said that this sword was forged in the fires that created the universe. Those who chose the sword instead of the amulet chose violence over reason. but come on, it's a cool sword that wants a weird amulet anyway, no joke.
The amulet seems like the wisest decision, but I hope we get Captain Britain's story in the MCU soon and then we get to see the sword of power in action for the brain. The sword is one of the newer swords on this list. It's crazy to think that some swords here have been around for almost 60 years and others have been around for like three years. It shows the full breadth of the Marvel Universe. Anyway, Charles Xavier was killed off in a recent comic series and toTo honor him, Magneto forged a new sword using Cerebral's medal and turning it into a weapon, but when Xavier was resurrected due to some comic book mumbo-jumbo, Magneto gave his old friend The Sword and Professor X put it on him. wall in his room, ah, friendship, anyway, it was soon revealed that this sword had brain powers that more people should have anticipated, it had information locked in it that revealed backup minds of almost all mutant types, from what it sounds like like a sharp and dangerous hard drive, the Infinity.
Blade is something I hope we see a version of in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. When Gamora goes off alone to collect the Infinity Stones, she adopts the name Requiem and begins wielding the Infinity Blade, this sword was powered by the Power Stone. so you know, it wasn't a joke, it probably could have ended up doing a lot more damage, but the sword ended up shattered when Gamora tried to hit Emma Frost, who had her own duplicate Power Stone, with it, causing the powers to go away. They will cancel, yes, I don't. I don't expect Gamora to go completely evil in Guardian to the caliber volume 3, but it would be cool if she had a purple sword like this.
Alright, two of these final entries will not be special swords. That is a combination that combines some power word with the word sword or sword, but I will talk about Blade's sword here and I mention this sword so that I can be confused by referring to it as Blade's sword, yes, definitely, and at least they call it. a sword and not a sword, can you imagine if Blade walked around wielding his sword? Hey, have you seen swords? Blade, okay, moving with this sword is not necessarily all-powerful, but it is the perfect weapon for cutting off vampire heads and the vampire hunter has created.
I am sure it is in optimal condition to be able to do the job. She-Hulk just ended and while we wait to see where the character goes next, I really hope that a future season can reintroduce Elizabeth Ross, aka Red She-Hulk, in much the same way. Red Hulk is a villain to Hulk Red She-Hulk is a villain to She-Hulk she's meaner, she's meaner, she's red and sometimes she also wields She-Hulk's savage sword, that's the name of this thing and it's Incredible, I finally realized what's missing from my life and it's a Hulk wielding a big sword.
I think Red She-Hulk would be an amazing antagonist for She-Hulk and that's the only reason I included the sword in this list. The last sword on this list is actually a sword. Also known as sword word, the space organization that represents the Sentient World Observation and Response Department, the video is called mightiest swords and this counts as a mighty sword, right, yeah, definitely, anyway I just wanted to slide this one entrance at the end because I really expect great things. With this in the MCU, it's clear that we'll be seeing more of the Sword organization in Marvels and Secret Invasion and my hope is that Nick Fury has been working hard to make Sword a perfect mediator between Earth and all the extraterrestrial life that exists.
The cosmic side of things has grown substantially over the years and for Earth to be a serious player in Universe-related incidents then the sword must be sharp. There are many very powerful weapons within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Man's repulsors. Captain America's shield. pretty much anything that Rocket Raccoon touches, and yet none of them are in the same league as those that are best described as divine weapons wielded by some of the most powerful beings in existence and that often grant their users some very powerful abilities. impressive. These tools of destruction are a sight to behold, so why not check them out and take a look, perhaps compare them to their comic book counterparts and find out who might have used them over the years?
Also, just a heads up. The Infinity Gauntlet and the ten rings will not appear in this. list because, while they are incredibly powerful and in terms of power probably qualify as divine weapons, they have not been wielded by actual gods and, as far as we know, were not created by them, so they are not on the list, and also small spoilers. For Thor, love and thunder are ahead, so you've been warned without further ado, let's go ahead and dive into it as it was the first God weapon we saw within the MCU. I thought this should probably be the first one I talk about. about on this list yolnir isn't just a word that some people have a hard time saying, it's also the weapon wielded by the God of Thunder himself, Thor, and also by his ex-girlfriend Jane, but you know that's something that was actually great now if you are watching this video.
I think it's pretty safe to assume that you already know almost everything there is to know about the hammer in the movies. Have you been paying attention since the first Thor movie came out in 2011? You probably know everything. You need to know even if you haven't seen the movies, so how about I go ahead and tell you some interesting tidbits that you might not know because that would probably be a lot more fun than me going over the story. of the hammer and all that and just covering a lot of things you already know in the comics, mjolnir grants its user lightning-based powers because an elder god known as the god Tempest was imprisoned within it by Odin eons ago, while that movies don't do it.
I expressly say that this is also the case on screen, the fact that the hammer seems to be somewhat conscious and capable of making its own decisions. I choose to believe much the same is true here. The name of the hammer mjolnir roughly translates to that witch. smashes within traditional Norse mythology, which has to be the most striking name for a hammer of all time. I mean, if he wasn't really able to smash, I'd be a little disappointed and finally in Ragnarok we saw Thor in costume. the Hammer like an umbrella while around civilians and with a simple tap on the ground it could change back.
This is very reminiscent of the comics where Thor disguised it as a staff while he was disguised as Dr. Donald Blake and in order to change back into God form he did exactly as he did in the movies and simply smashed it into soil. Wasn't that more fun than me? Just listing his appearances in movies and stuff like that. I think it was a lot. more interesting and I certainly had a better time after mjolnir was crushed by hella. Thor spent some time without weapons before going and meeting the giant Peter Dinklage, who he had made a whole new weapon so he could go and kick Thanos' ass.
In theory, at least this new weapon was Stormbreaker. The neatest feature of this Titan Decapitation Implement is the fact that he can summon the bifrost, which came in handy during the most recent Thor movie as it allowed Thor and company to traverse the stars in search. of Gore and the kidnapped children, of course, this ultimately ended up being a bad thing and Gore was able to use it to try to open the way to Eternity, which probably would have ended really badly if Thor hadn't been like that. able to give a moving speech that simply tugged at Gore's heartstrings, keep in mind that the whole change to Gore trying to find eternity instead of building a divine bomb is probably a bit more believable story than you know him trying to build a planet. bomb-sized bomb, but I'm not really sure which one is funnier, probably the bomb, the comic version of Stormbreaker, is quite similar to the one we have on screen, except for one important factor: it doesn't actually belong to Thor.
In contrast, the hammer used by the horse-faced warrior from beyond the stars Beta Ray Bill is also much smaller, in fact, physically the film version of Stormbreaker has a much closer appearance to the Ultimate Universe version of mjolnir , which is pretty neat as the MCU often draws a lot of inspiration from Ultimate Comics, so it's appropriate I guess, yeah that's something I still haven't had an actual appearance from Bill because of the way just his face on the side of a building is sad as a lot of fans want to see it, maybe one day it will appear somewhere, but at this point, oh and I'm really holding my breath, gumnir is one of the first divine weapons we see within the MCU and appears first in the hands of Odin at the beginning of the first Thor solo film and that is largely where it remained in the hands of the rulers of Asgard, without doing much historically, this spear whose name is not said in the film, so I apologize if I mispronounce it, it's actually incredibly important. because Odin's father used it to defeat the dark elves and their leader malekith when they tried to plunge the universe into darkness.
Later, Odin himself used it while fighting the Frost Giants of Yotenheim who were taking over his Frozen Homeland and used it to defeat the Giants. leader right before kidnapping a blue baby who became Loki from there, we didn't really see him do much. A related comic explained that Odin used Gungnier to send Thor back to Earth to stop Loki during The Avengers since the bifrost was created. It was still pretty beat up at the time, but that's it, the last time we saw it was during Thor Ragnarok, when Thor used it very briefly during his fight with his sister Hella before it was thrown to the ground and presumably destroyed when Cerder exploded. completely.
Asgard shattered, will we see this elegant spear again in the movies? If I had to hazard a guess, probably not, as Ragnarok seems to be a pretty definitive way to destroy almost anything, but who knows, in the wider Multiverse, there's bound to be a ton of different versions, so maybe one day one Odin variant or a Thor variant, someone will show up carrying the spear, it could be cool, maybe in secret wars, I don't know, we'll see now that we get into the weapons we really know. I don't know much about them, but they're still in the MCU, so it might be good to go over what we do know about them first: Kanchu's Crescent Moon Staff, which is really all we know about it.
Well, we know something. a bit more basically, khonshu can fight pretty well with this thing, in fact he can also use this staff to better channel his divine powers, like when he moved the moon and stars next to Mark and Layla when they needed to see what the sky looked like. years before, that's something that probably scared a lot of people at first. You probably assume it's something only Layla and Mark can see, but then we see that people miles away can see it too, so you know it's a pretty good reason to panic probably led to a pretty funny news broadcast, at least abroad.
I no longer have the slightest idea what the hell is going on. The sky simply moved for no discernible reason. There are characters straight out of myths and legends walking around like that's not a Big Deal and yes, let's not forget the fact that a good portion of us spent the last five years looking like the contents of a bar ashtray because some angry purple guy finished his rock collection and thought it would be a good way to celebrate. Living in this world really sucks, I need a drink, the newest addition to the divine weapon Arsenal within the MCU is the only appearance at the time of this video's recording during the mid-credits scene of Thor, Love and Thunder, which which means I have There are no images of it because the movie is still in theaters but yes anyway I am talking about the golden mace of Hercules since we don't have any information about it in the movies let's take a look at its common counterpart because otherwise it wouldn't.
I have something to say, I bet watching the comic counterpart of him really does much to solve that problem. This beastly-looking mace was forged by Hephaestus, the Olympian god of fire and metal, specifically for Hercules, made from adamantine, a divine medal that is the best known adamantium. It is so named because it was designed to replace the old, plain wooden one that hurt and was used when he was still young and still mortal. In terms of strength, this thing is indestructible and is said to equal mjolnir in terms of its crushing power and durability. You may not grant it to your user. the ability to conjure lightning or something, but it has been used in the past to redirect many different types of energy due in large part to the materials it was created in, beyond that there really isn't much to say about it. a cool mace that hurt Hercules he really likes, to be honest, do you really need to know more than that?
I didn't think about it, of course, I have to mention Zeus's lightning bolt here, this metallic lightning bolt is quite an impressive piece. Kit in the hands of the King of Olympus, it could be used to summon and control storms, as well as cast with pinpoint precision. When launched, he can even split into several smaller versions of himself, a feature the arrogant and eccentric Zeus was seen using. Foranimate his entrance during the movie, other than that the only really noteworthy thing we saw him do within the movie was split in two so he could be used with two hands, which is kind of cool I guess, in a student style from the early 2000s.
By the way, that's like a mall ninja thing right there, oh, and also Thor used it to imbue a group of kids with some of his power temporarily, though still It remains to be seen if that's something the weapon itself allowed him to do or just something he could always do. The jury is still out on that. I thought I had to talk about the Necker sword here at least a little. This dark but rather modest looking blade is quite unique when it comes to weapons both divine and otherwise, as this is a first. one that is said to be capable of directly killing God, something that has proven to be quite difficult any other time it has been attempted and all that power eventually corrupts its user and kills them if they are separated from it, thus which is actually not what But here's the thing: it's actually a divine weapon.
Sure in the comics it's called pitch black and wielded by some elder null god, so the comic version is definitely a divine weapon, but in the movie version we never find out where it came from. who created it, so it's a little hard to say, so it could very well be a complete divine weapon, it also might not be, who really knows at this point that, given what it's capable of and the fact that it apparently It is widely known by the Divine Community as a whole. I think it's safe to let it be called at least safer than The Infinity Gauntlet or the 10 Rings or Kamala's Bracelet Now that I think about it, someone could probably argue that it's a God weapon, but it's not going to be me, ultimately we have Hella's weapon, weapons in plural, it's a bit difficult to really define what Hella's weapons actually are in the accompanying media, that is, not in the movie itself, but still in official sources his swords are called necro swords , which is confusing now that we have the necro sword anyway, regardless of what these things actually are, Hella is able to manifest bladed weapons from her own body, which she can then wield her typical swords and throw them with deadly precision like She did it when she killed all of the Warriors 3 in pretty unceremonious ways that she could even give other people these weapons, like when she conjured the blood ax and gifted it to Scourge, which is cool and almost hard to understand the logistics of if These weapons are made from her anyway, we don't really know and we probably never will because she's so dead, why are you giving me the Melt Stick Man?
Imagine being a kid again, your school bully stops to ask you for lunch money, and you pull out the ultimate nullifier the cosmos has given him. Marvel Universe is an incredible amount of content, from new worlds to new alien species and of course new things ranging from sticks imbued with divine power to the real power of gods, weaponry and Marvel Comics is one of the most imaginative ever created. the ones coming from off Planet don't even get me started, well now that you've gotten me started let's look at Marvel's most powerful cosmic weapons right now. I especially like these.
I got them from a place called Midgard. Texas, what could be more powerful than a literally unknown quantity capable of destroying almost anything that believes itself to be omnipotent and all-powerful? The weapon known as the heart of the universe has stunned even the greatest beings in the cosmos, no one knows how incredible this is. The weapon became not even the Living Court. Thanos used it once and believed it was destroyed. However, the mysterious nature of this incredible weapon reappeared on its own. The heart of the universe is probably the most powerful weapon that exists, but its quantity and capacity. is simply unknown, this makes him one of the most intimidating forces to ever grace the comics page.
The Ultimate Nullifiers, believed by many, including Watu himself, to be the most powerful weapon the cosmos has ever produced. The Nullifier is legendary in Marvel lore and was wielded. By one of the greatest minds, Reed Richards, during Galactus' first attempt to eat his planet, the powers of the ultimate nullifier can be explained very simply: it has the power to get rid of literally anything if one concentrates. long enough, you can simply make your enemy disappear. There should be a giant warning label on this thing if it is handled incorrectly or set to maximum power. The Ultimate Nullifier has the ability to wipe out the entire universe in the comics.
Entire multiversal timelines have been eradicated through the use of this great weapon. It's the ultimate cheat code. and using it presents such a danger to the universe that even The Watcher may be forced to intervene in its implementation. You know, I bet before the year 2018 you'd be hard-pressed to find a random person on the street who knew what it means. Infinity Gauntlet Now you're the odd one out if you don't know what this incredible piece of cosmic weaponry can do. The gauntlet itself is powered by some of the strongest singularities in any universe, the Infinity Stones, mental space, power and soul reality time. when combined they basically give the user the power to do anything they want, they can destroy half the universe in an instant or use entire moons as you throw me at the moon and I'll lose projectiles wielding The Gauntlet.
An incredible amount of skill, even the great Tony Stark had to sacrifice his own life to use the powerful glove. The Infinity Gauntlet may go down in history as one of the most powerful weapons ever imagined in the MCU. The Cosmic Cube was reconfigured to be the first infinity. stone, we would see the Space Stone on screen, however, in Marvel Comics, the two are actually separate and the red skull's weapon of choice stands on its own as a powerful cosmic weapon and don't give up hope of seeing this in the MCU because in the comics there are multiple, the cosmic cubes are made of energy collected from some of the most powerful beings in the universe, the afterlife, the cosmic cubes are capable of creation and destruction and all it takes is a strong will Essentially, these cosmic cubes have the power. to alter reality and grant wishes, they're basically magical genies and lamps without all the nasty technicalities and just imagine what a magical genie in the hands of someone like The Red Skull can do.
The necro sword is one of the coolest artifacts out there. the billion-year history of Marvel's symbiotes, that's right, Venom and Carnage are just the tip of the iceberg, the Null Symbiote God formed this poison-shaped sword and imbued it with celestial energy. It has the ability to change its form to better fit the user and is most famous for its ability to completely destroy those who consider themselves gods, while the necrosword has been causing damage for centuries. The most famous wielder of it is probably Gore, who in fact earned the name of butcher god with this trusty sword in his hand.
Gore has used the necrosaurus. to destroy the Celestials as well as three different versions of Thor at once, who knows, maybe a little love and thunder will give us a little necro sword action sooner than we had imagined. Nothing screams uncontrollable power like the Book of the Damned. The Darkhold was an ancient text that collected spells from the darkest nature that harnessed the magic of the elder god Cathon. This Otherworldly artifact grants the reader an incredible amount of magical ability; However, let's say the user needs to be able to read the text which would probably serve as a great historical souvenir. for people like Tony Stark or Steve Rogers, but in the hands of a master sorcerer or warlock I am not a witch, I don't cast spells, no one taught me magic, the dark domain can be one of the most dangerous objects in the cosmos Recently seen wielded by Agatha Harkness in the MCU, gave her incredibly dark powers that allowed her to drain magic from any other mystical being, yet she foolishly let it get into the hands of the Scarlet Witch, although that's okay because Wanda has a recent history of nothing but responsibility. and rational decision making, so I'm sure the darkness is in good hands.
If something starts with the word Odin, you should probably be afraid of it. The sword of Odin is said to be the most powerful guardian artifact in the great Pantheon of Cosmic Armament, this is really saying something, as the likes of Mjolnir and Stormbreaker have similar origins, like many Asgardian dramatic tales, this sword was said to be imbued with Odin's own power was capable of causing the end of the universe simply by wielding it, while that proved capable of causing the end of the universe. Not the case, certain celestials laughed at what they probably thought was a toothpick.
Odin's sword definitely deals a strong blow. He can summon the bifrost. Go toe-to-toe with any other sidearm and, most importantly, its real name may sound familiar. We know it as the sword of Odin, although its true and appropriate name is Ragnarok, it should be abundantly clear by now that Asgard throughout its eternal existence has perfected the production of devastating cosmic weapons, another weapon wielded by the God of Thunder, the God of Thunder Stormbreaker, was a huge improvement on mjolnir in many ways in the comic Stormbreaker is a special hammer made for Beta Ray Bill that imbues him with Thor's power after he proved himself worthy in the MCU.
Stormbreaker became Thor's newest ax to replace the destroyed mjolnir when he needed the type. As a weapon to kill a Titan, Stormbreaker not only gives Thor the ability to fly more smoothly and deal an extra hit with each hit, but Stormbreaker, unlike mjolnir, has the unique ability to summon the bifrost, so This ax is not only great for opening beer. bottles, but can also teleport the user across the entire Cosmos in the blink of an eye. I think the tactilgon is my new favorite weapon that I just found out about today. Perhaps one of the most underrated and powerful weapons in the universe and its concept is so simple that anyone probably has a weakness, the unique powers of the Tactilon alien weapon is that it can determine the weakness of any opponent and then transform into the perfect weapon to exploit that weakness and I mean anything that can transform into a giant. machine gun maybe a picture of Scarlett Johansson if you're fighting the Hulk or even a feather if Thanos is really ticklish or something it's one of the most versatile comic weapons that you probably didn't know existed before today the Silver Surfers energy board is made Almost pure cosmic energy, meaning it is one of the most powerful forces in the universe, turns the rider into an all-powerful god-like being.
Noren Rad, Silver Surfer is a powerless gray alien until he joins his board, which It allows you to fly beyond the speed of light, launch blasts of pure energy, and also absorb any attacks to redistribute them later. Dr. Doom was able to control the board, proving that anyone is capable of harnessing its destructive power. There are definitely a lot of weapons on this list to choose from. but they all look a lot cooler while riding aboard a shiny silver surfboard, the thing even defeated Galactus or you know, whatever that cloud was, it almost ate the Earth, God or demon, Depending on who you ask, it's Sitarak.
Definitely what you would call a complex character, however, whether you like him or hate him, you can't deny that his power is amazing. Long ago, he was banished to the Crimson Cosmos, cursed by being trapped inside a red gem. This gem has been used by several. Marvel characters and given incredible power, Doctor Strange frequently uses the gem's powers, especially Sidorak's crimson bands; However, this incredible artifact not only empowers heroes, as it created one of the most quietly powerful villains that existed, Charles Xavier's brother found. this gem in a cave and gave him the power to be unstoppable, that's right, Sidorak's crimson gem is the reason Deadpool's favorite character, the Juggernaut, exists.
Thor's mighty hammer is one of the greatest weapons ever created in the vast cosmos forged in the heart of a dying star mjolnir it is one of the most reliable weapons you can have at your side, if only you could wield it, no everyone is worthy, only those deemed worthy by a magic spell can lift the hammer, but those who do get a Thor, this includes his super strength, his ability to fly, and his manipulation of using lightning, giving users like Captain America and Jane Foster god-like power. that's hard to match only in the MCU Thor has destroyed entire countries, defeated dragons and theDestroyer Captain America has faced Thanos one on one, all with the powerful mjolnir in the comics, the Special Hammer has been destroying Thor's enemies for decades, the 10 Rings seemed extremely powerful in the MCU at the end of Xiang Chi show that there may still be more to come from these pieces of mcluhan technology;
However, long-time comic book fans know that the 10 Rings were essentially weakened by their abilities on the comic page, these pieces of ancient technology gave the Mandarin incredible power as each individual ring possessed abilities. Unique to matter, transmutation, mind control, disintegration, strength and at least six others with them, the Mandarin was able to live an extremely long life and conquered almost every land he set his sights on just like us. I saw that the MCU basically turned them into really cool things to punch people with, but I hope the mythology of these rings is explored further given that they are some of the most powerful artifacts to come from the universe.
Okay, stop me when you know what I'm doing. I am talking about incredible magical stones of immense power used by a divine figure to execute his will, of course I am talking about the norn stones, it is true that they are second rate to another set of stones, although at times it seems like they could dominate to the infinite. Norn stones are Asgardian mystical objects often used by the trickster god Loki. These are essentially sentient rocks that can alter their power depending on who uses them, so with a mind like Loki's, norn stones are the perfect weapon to represent his mischievous and sometimes mischievous ways.
Dark and consequential actions in the hands of the right person. Weapons like these could have an untold amount of power. In theory, some of these weapons could overpower all others if used correctly. The Wand of Which Tomb is certainly no exception. We've actually seen the wand in the MCU wielded by Wong in defending the Hong Kong shrine, however its true full power wasn't shown at all. The wand gives the wielder incredible power. He creates portals, heals people, locates anything, and most importantly, has a unique ability to manipulate energy in such a way. way he could even hold his own in a fight against the Infinity Stones, however, as I said, it takes someone with true mastery of the weapon to use it in such a way as to give Wong a break, even though he wasn't the Sorcerer Supreme yet.
I'm sure he would do a lot more with the Tomb Wand now than just wave it around like he did in 2016. Quantum bands are cool cosmic artifacts that basically prove that Marvel and DC are the same thing under different names. It's called that because it obviously sounds cool to put Quantum in front of everything. Oh, and these bands are also capable of harnessing the subatomic powers of the quantum realm. The reason for the comparison to DC is quite simple. Quantum bands basically have exactly the same capabilities. As power rings of the Green Lantern Corps, they can manifest constructs of physical energy into any form the wearer desires.
They were most notably used by the Avenger Quasar, who is definitely not Green Lantern, so stop asking about that, they are very useful tools when you are in the hands of someone who knows how to use them and listen to any opportunity I get to talk about this. I'm going to fire one of the most deceptively powerful weapons in the MCU exists on the planet Sakhar, that's right folks we're talking about. the Melt stick oh well yeah come on I think you're going to like this wielded by topaz, the right hand man of the Grandmaster of Sakhar's henchman. the Melt stick is a ball on the end of a stick, that's all, and also any time the ball goes in.
The stick knocks someone out, they melt it, the Grandmaster uses it for not-so-ceremonial executions, and my goodness, an army where every single soldier has one of these would rule any planet in the galaxy, I'm not quite sure what kind of technology is made the fusion bar. but I have no idea why the MCU weapon makers haven't tried to take advantage of those things. There are a lot of crazy weapons on this list, but I'll probably pick the Melt Stick every time since one's staff is a unique little magical artifact. Passed down through generations in the Menoru family, it is most notably handled by Nico Menoru of The Runaways.
One's staff uses blood magic to carry out his orders. The wielder of the staff can essentially use it to do whatever comes to their imagination because of his Blood Magic Links The power of one's staff increases with the amount of bloodshed of the user. It can do almost anything, but it comes with a slightly annoying caveat: each user can only perform a certain action with it once and then it will never work again. Imagine teleporting to Mars just to check it out and then discovering that you can't use that spell again. You'd have to conjure up some kind of space Uber.
This one definitely requires a creative mind. The cosmic control rod is an extremely powerful artifact, but. oh boy, is there a trap manned by leader annihilus? The cosmic control rod is said to have the power to defeat even an infinity stone. It gives the wearer such incredible strength that no one dares to cross it. This is how an eyeless man can rule. about the negative zone very well, however, I mentioned that the cosmic control bar only works in the negative zone and in any other dimension it is basically useless. You can also grab a tree branch and it is also the Negative Zone.
Do you really need a magic wand? to make you look around and say actually I think I'll go somewhere else thanks have a nice day Marvel's Avengers showed us the first taste of the power the cosmos had to offer in the form of Loki and the chittari the chittari were an alien army with incredibly powerful weapons, but one of the most useful was the Chittari Energy Corps. I imagine it's the Arc Reactor from wherever the Chatari come from. Hey, it's like that sticky thing, that shiny thing is an explosive core of shatari energy. The tatari core is what drives everyone. his weapons during the invasion of New York, including blasters and flying leviathans, the Vulture and his crew were also later seen using tatari cores to power the Vulture suit, as well as various other devices invented by Phineas Mason, the tinkerer, as well.
In a pinch if you have an x-ray on hand, the jitari core can serve as an excellent handy grenade. Fun fact, apparently they exist in Sony verse 2. Michael Keaton wasn't there for long, but he had another one of those flying machines up and running pretty quickly even with all the Marvel heroes have explored the vastness of the cosmos and definitely have more surprises up their sleeves. Which cosmic weapons do you think are the strongest and who is worthy enough to wield them? In the comics, they are within the cinematic universe that the Marvel masterminds have. created a variety of powerful weapons designed to destroy opposing worlds and even entire universes focusing on the MCU, we have already witnessed many of these weapons from web shooters to Iron Legions to Infinity Gauntlets;
However, when delving into the comics, there are many of these weapons that we have yet to see, so in this video we will explore and rank everything from tactics to the inevitable 25 of the most powerful weapons we have yet to see within the MCU, so without further ado, let's go ahead and dive into it and get started. Our list with the infamous and hulking robots focused mainly on capturing and destroying mutants, the Sentinels were created by Dr. Bolívar Trask hello, thank you for coming, whose intention was to use them to save Humanity from what he perceived as the threat of the mutant species, although we have seen these destructive robots a couple of times in movies throughout the Fox X-Men movies, we have yet to see them unleashed within the MCU with the recent revelations of Professor X's different mutations and Miss Marvel, do you think we'll see Sentinels?
On Phase Five, I'm not personally thinking about Phase Five, but Phase Six seems like a possibility invented by the genius and mystical Doctor Doom. The time platform is a machine used to send whoever is on it to the past, originally located in Castle Doom. Portable versions of this device were also seen which initially required an operator separate from the traveler. Doom eventually modified the circuitry in his armor so he could travel back in time and operate the platform remotely. The first time Dr. Doom attacked the Fantastic Four, he used his time platform and with Reed Richards using some sort of similar device during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Hi Steven, it's safe to assume that we'll soon see the time platform of the Dr.
Doom and the MCU during the Original Sin story arc in the comics owatu The Watcher was killed at his moon base and one of his eyeballs ended up in the possession of a mercenary known as Orb who turned out not to be the culprit of the violent crime; However, when Nick Fury and the Avengers searched the orb's base for questioning, he used the i in a focused manner. attack that unleashed a wave of alternately powerful and destructive energy on Earth 415 during Marvel's Future Struggle storyline, Owatu created a stone called The Eye Of The Watcher that aimed to break the time stream, with Watu being the main character in mcu's what if series.
You think there's a chance we'll see one of his eyes removed in a future phase, but you still hold out hope that Nathaniel Richards of Earth 6311, also known as Kang the Conqueror, has assumed many names, forms, and incarnations through throughout time and throughout the Multiverse. That's why we focus. In one of the previous identities, Kang at one time was historically known as Rama Tut, one of Rama Tut's most effective weapons was his Ultra Diode ray gun, a technologically enhanced high-powered gun, the Ultra Diode ray was capable of draining his target's strength and powers that knock them out simultaneously at low power, the ray gun would weaken his targets and place them under Ramatutt's control.
With the threat of Kang looming in the MCU's future, it's entirely possible that Rama Tut and his Ultra Diode Ray will soon appear as well. Nova helmets designed by the Nova Corps are worn by members of the elite team known as the Supernovas, not to be confused with the Nova Force possessed by Richard Ryder, who also assumes the name Nova in the comics. Nova Helmets Provide their wearer with a variety of powers. and technologies including tactical software that will translate languages of different species and input information into its wearer's brain. They will also allow you to breathe in space or underwater.
Nova helmets also grant cosmic powers to the wearer, such as flight energy blast and super strength. Nova Corps within the MCU, however, we have yet to meet Nova or any of the supernovas, but Muramaso was an immortal madman in the legendary swordsmith, most notably creating the red Muramasa sword for Wolverine, forging the sword of muramasa using a piece of Wolverine's soul and some of his Blood Muramasa was able to extract and bind Wolverine's rage into the sword itself, capable of cutting solids at a molecular level. Muramasa's sword even poses a legitimate threat to supers with healing factors, although we have seen a variation of these events in the Wolverine movie, although with changed character names and themes, Logan's historical adventures in Japan have yet to be realized.
Documented within the MCU, a dwarven forged battle ax composed of Asgardian steel thread, is a legendary weapon tried and true through many battles originally created for one of the original Valkyries. Thor had also used Bjorn's thread as his usual weapon long before obtaining mjolnir, although Asgard was destroyed, the ax may have been rescued and stored somewhere in the new Asgard with the eminent threat of Hercules heading to Earth after Valkyrie told him. stole ThunderBolt from Zeus in Thor 11 Thunder. perhaps King Valkyrie discovers this ax while fighting with the Olympians in phase five or six, speaking of Hercules forged in adamantine, the medal for which adamantium was named and is known as the medal of the gods, this golden mace It is easily one of Hercules' usual weapons.
He is strong and as durable as Mjolnir, the powerful mace was created for Hercules as a replacement for the wooden club he preferred as a mortal, only getting a glimpse of Hercules within the MCU so far, during Thor 4's mid-credits scene, it seems as if He is already in possession of his golden mace. For my part, I am incredibly excited at the idea of a Thor vs Hercules movie and it seems that it will be the next effort of the God of Thunder within the MCU made of an unknown metal and capable of manipulating matter. On a molecular level, the Evil Eye of Avalon is a powerful and mystical artifact originally placed in the care of the Crusader Prester John.
It was thought that the evil eye had exploded, but in reality it broke intosix separate pieces that were scattered throughout the universe forming one piece of the evil eye into a weapon called Stellar Rod Jon would not be the only one to find his artifact, the dark sorceress Morgan lafaye had once used the evil eye to resurrect the god sol femorian bailor in a battle against doctor strange and the black knight a version of Morgan Lafay appeared in the television series Runaways and perhaps will officially return this time within the proper MCU, in particular, handled by two members of The Runaways.
The staff of one of them is so powerful that it is said that he created people like the Mamu dormitory. shake like some of the other entries on this list, we've seen the staff of one in the TV series The Runaways, however, it's unclear at this time if that show was part of the MCU continuity or was powered by magic. of blood. Conjure and operate this weapon. requires an offering of blood that usually has an affinity towards a wielder, whoever possesses or controls the staff is capable of enchanting and casting spells, additionally the staff is literally stored within its Guardian's body now, when the staff's powers begin to wane. , it will be reabsorbed back into its resting state.
Instead, the magical sword known as the Soul Sword was constructed from the life force of the Colossus' sister, Ileana Rasputin, also known as Magic. Forging the soul sword while she was trapped in Limbo, magic would eventually rule that Dimension used to harm and nullify opponents based on Supernatural Magic and Mysticism, unfortunately. However, the soul sword has rarely hurt non-magical beings, when encountering the enchanted and fighting spellcasters, the soul sword is possibly the most powerful sword in the universe again, we have seen a version of magic and his soul sword in the new Mutant, however, until now.
As we know, that movie is still strictly non-canon to MCU history, although of all the Fox X-Men movies, that's probably the easiest to add to the MCU because it's largely disconnected from those other movies, sorry , doctor. Natural and part of his mutation, as well as being made of bone, the adamantium fused to Wolverine's infamous claws and skeleton is a procedural upgrade from his time in the Weapon X Program, literally turning him into a weapon. Wolverine was chosen for this experiment due to his strange regenerative healing powers, another factor in his mutation. By seeing the Adamantium Clause in action several times during the Fox X-Men movies, fans know more or less what to expect when he finally let's get a new Wolverine within the MCU.
The question remains, who would you do it? The cast to play the new Wolverine, let us know in the comments, are mainly related to Captain Britton and the team of mutants who bear that name. Excalibur is the legendary sword of King Arthur according to legend. Excalibur was forged by the witches of Avalon and another world. kingdom connected to the British Isles accessible through Paths found on Earth, of course, torn from a stone by King Arthur throughout history. Excalibur has been endowed with several magical properties capable of killing and healing anyone, from man to God, and makes its wielder nigh-Immortal now that we know Dane Whitman has possession of the Ebony Blade as seen at the end of Eternals. , could Excalibur be the next mystical sword revealed within the MCU?
I mean some comic continuities, Ebony Blade Annex Calibur is kind of two sides of the same thing. currency, so it would definitely make sense to be ready for that Mr. Whitman, although it's unclear if Kamala Khan's bracelet from the MCU Miss Marvel series is the same as the Nega gangs from the comics, most fans feel that They are essentially the same for the sake of this video. and the fact that they haven't been called that by name we will include both Quantum Gangs and Mega Gangs in this list, Quantum Gangs get their powers from the Quantum Realm and the Nega Gang's powers have ties to the Negative Zone, that's it.
Pretty simple, right? Quantum bands supply their wheel with unlimited power, making them capable of manipulating energy and enhancing their physiology. Whoever puts on the quantum bands is known as a Quasar. The Nega Bands are transformed relics of the Empire believed to also provide their wearer with energy manipulation and cosmic physiology with the most famous pair of Nega Bands being owned by Captain Marvel, although there have been more than one pair that have appeared throughout the ages. the history of Marvel Comics in the MCU. However, we have seen iovagamoto accompany Doctor Strange during a large number of adventures that are already in the comics.
The Eye of Agamoto has two other counterparts commonly possessed by the sorcerer's Supreme of Earth and artifact fans are most familiar with the I which represents knowledge. He may possess mystically telepathic abilities. The second eye that represents power fell into the hands of the Asgardian Dragon. Satorung increased his strength. Lastly, magically, the powers of Agamoto's third eye remain unknown as the artifact was lost to time. The evil sorcerer Coulan Goth created a false version of this eye using it to plan and deceive people. A special temporary driving chair created by Kang the Conqueror that allows him to travel through time and space.
Kang's temporary chair is also a formidable offensive and defensive tool when necessary. Equipped with advanced laser defense. weapons and a Force Shield capable of withstanding powerful blows the chair of time is the key to Kang's Mission, that is, the one who remains in Loki taught us that Kang is on the way and will face Ant-Man and the Lobster in the upcoming Quantumania film created by At times, Dr. Doom's doombots have acted as henchmen focused on targeted attacks and tasks. In general, all robots identified as doombots are exact physical and mental replicas of the original Victor Von Doom, designed with disguised psionic circuitry and capable of tricking low-level telepaths into acceptance.
They like the real doombots also believe that they are the real Doom and themselves fill in for Doctor Doom when he cannot be present with speculation circulating online that he could play a role in the upcoming Black Panther film Wananda Forever, perhaps Let's see Doombots within the MCU. Sooner rather than later, it is produced from a rare synthetic alloy found in 40th century Kang. The Conqueror's armor is neurokinetic, meaning it responds to Kang's subconscious thoughts. Although Kang has no powers, his armor grants him the equivalent of superhuman abilities. You really hope to defeat me. throwing rocks at me with Kang as the next Thanos-level threat in the MCU, it's only a matter of time before we see his armor in action against Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the tactagon is classified as an Omega-level weapon, a alien device and sentient thing created billions.
For thousands of years, the Tactogon has not only been able to change its shape and adopt any conventional or esoteric weapon necessary for any given situation, but it can also emit destructive energy blasts and infiltrate computers to obtain information. More than a thousand years ago eight beings of magical power met When the octessens gathered and made a bet on who was the most powerful, each created totems containing fragments of their individual power that spread throughout the world, the first human to If he touched a respective gem he would become what is known as an exemplary sitarax.
The crimson gem was found by Kane Marco which transformed him into the unstoppable giant created by a celestial called Divinity, the black vortex acts as a mirror showing an individual what he would look like with his cosmic potential. Submission and corruption unleashed upon realizing his powers obtained by the It is very likely that the black vortex is capable of reversing the state of its users, taking away their cosmic powers. Physical or mental side effects may also remain after encountering the black vortex known as the Nexus of All Realities. Legends say it is the home of the macron crystal. was the first planet to form a huge pink gem of unknown origins the macron crystal is host to an entire neutron galaxy that grants people the ability to travel through realities within the Multiverse the crystal also possesses restorative properties that restore Mutation of Professor The first and most important version of Odin's sword, also known as the supreme sword of Asgard, is a giant.
A large-sized blade that, if ever unsheathed, is prophesied to mean that the end of the universe is near. Odin presented a second version to Thor stating that his true name was Ragnarok. Thor used the third version of Odin's sword to literally slice through space. and the time created by mnew, the ultimate nullifier, at one point destroyed nine-tenths of the entire universe when it was used to defend observers from an evil alien takeover. Later, when Galactus was threatening Earth, the Fantastic Four were tasked with retrieving the ultimate nullifier, the Fantastic Menace. Four activations of this unholy weapon were enough for Galactus to retreat from his mission inspiring absolute fear in the Cosmic Giant the heart of the poor universe the infinite is the most powerful and cataclysmic weapon in the entire Marvel Multiverse its history is completely unknown and is virtually omnipotent capable of taking on all cosmic beings regardless of their stature or power level, a unique gem to say the least, the heart of the universe can explode into what looks like a sun or a supernova capable of essentially erasing anything from the existence in an instant that poses a threat to even the Living Court, the heart of the universe, is number one on our list, so I want to use a big wooden fork, axes, swords and Veronica, oh god, the MCU is Packed with some of the deadliest and most amazing weapons anyone has ever seen.
From the greatest inventors, as well as mythical creatures and legends straight from fantasy, the goal of destroying your enemy produces some creative results, from hammers to axes to melting sticks, why do you give me the melting stick? These weapons are a warrior's dream, but which of these weapons prove to be the best of all, let's dive into them and be careful with the pointy things right now. Hawkeye's trick arrows, perfectly leveled, allow this ordinary man with great combat skills to become one of the most powerful heroes on Earth. We've seen amazing uses for these arrows. including melting flying ships, blowing up helicopters, hacking Shield servers, and fighting from tall buildings.
Hawkeye was even able to knock Loki out of the sky with a well-placed explosive arrow and take on an arsenal of Ultron robots in the hands of an expert marksman like Clint. Barton, these arrows pack an unexpected punch with every turn. I can't wait to see what kind of tricked arrows Kate Bishop has up her sleeve. Sonic Blast technology has been used by several characters in the MCU, while generally these Sonic cannons are not lethal, they still have an incredible ability to subdue some of the most powerful beings in the universe, if only for a short time. time.
The first time we see these sonic cannons in use is in The Incredible Hulk, when Thaddeus Ross and the Army equipped a pair of tanks and used them to stop the Green Giant in his tracks. Rhodius also used a sonic cannon in his War Machine armor which managed to render Scarlet Witch unable to fight at a crucial moment in Captain America's Civil War. These electronic obedience discs might be the most annoyingly effective weapon in the MCU, although we've never seen them kill anyone. They have the power to make anyone bend to the will of the remote control holder.
The Grandmaster uses them on his prisoners with jobs and no one has really found a way around it. With them, they render Thor Loki Korg and several other powerful Gladiators completely useless, even in some of their most powerful moments, generating an electrical charge throughout the victim, the discs cause total electrical paralysis and even render the victim unconscious once that the charge is completed, regardless of its power level. Do you think Corvus Glaive's parents knew what weapon he was going to choose? The glaive wielded by the Black Order member as a deceptively powerful piece of hardware. It is very sharp and made of an alien metal that allows it to pierce the very durable skin of an asgardia.
Thanos used the glaive to kill Thor's old friend Heimdall, and Corvus himself used it to pierce Vision's vibranium body. There is some mysticism surrounding the sword, as it disabled Vision's ability to phase and heal himself.himself, deflected blasts from the Mind Stone and nearly extracted the Stone. Vision's forehead can be remembered in a similar way to Thor calling mjolnir and in the comics the glaive has the power to raise Corvus from the dead since he died twice. I would say that in the MCU that is not the case, the Wakandan spear is the weapon. of choice for Dora's milage and the greater army of Wakanda Eric Killmonger attempted to send these weapons to various forces around the world, as he called them portable untraceable sonic cannons powerful enough to stop a tank.
The spears are made of vibranium, making them extremely durable. Okoye was capable of causing a fast moving car to crash by hitting the spear into the ground, generally these weapons provide powerful attacks from short and long range and it makes sense why most advanced society would choose these as their weapons. Captain America's shield. has long been a symbol of honor in the country worn by the likes of Steve Rogers, Bucky, John Walker and now, finally, Sam Wilson. The vibranium alloy that forms the most powerful frisbee in the world is almost unbreakable given its composition. The shield is capable of bouncing. objects without losing speed, as all objects made of vibranium are capable of doing this, making it an exceptionally powerful projectile weapon that Captain America has been able to use at a distance and just as quickly switch to a nearly impenetrable defensive mechanism.
The Shield can also be used in combination with other weapons such as mjolnir or Iron Man's repulsors to multiply the power of his attacks. Falcon wings were an incredibly powerful piece of weaponry long before the Wakandans mastered them, they have demonstrated protective capabilities as well as possessing. rocket launch targeting system, give him such effective flight capability that he was able to outmaneuver and outmaneuver several missiles sent to him in Captain America, the Winter Soldier. His EXO 7 system can even detect Ant-Man when he is completely shrunken Now that Sam has received an upgrade as the new Captain America, the wings have been infused with a healthy dose of vibranium, this seriously improved the quality of his protective capabilities. and probably possesses a number of Wakandan weapons we haven't seen yet.
Unleashed Heimdall's weapon of choice, the bifrost sword is an exceptionally powerful Asgardian item, apart from what you know, it is a giant sword that Heimdall has used to eliminate the Dark Elves and Undead Frost Giants as guardian soldiers. The sword also has the incredible power to activate bifrost. Only a few items can achieve this by unlocking the user for interspatial travel, the sword became especially important when Hella sought it out for use in the Conquest of the Nine Kingdoms, meaning that Heimdall's possession of it may have saved the world as we know it. Sorry, Tony Stark has more Iron Man suits than shoes. ever in my life one of its most powerful versions is the nanotech suit that Iron Man shows off in Avengers Infinity War completely stored in his chest piece the armor expands outward covering Tony's entire body the technology allows Tony to conjure weapons from the seemingly thin air showing powerful explosions against Obsidian Cabbage and Ebony Ma and even going toe to toe with Thanos drawing a single drop of blood.
The suit has some weaknesses, as Thanos demonstrated that the nanites can be eliminated little by little and while Tony can reuse them. He sometimes leaves it exposed. The suits still allow Tony to wield the Infinity Stones and defeat Thanos and his army. It's easy to see why Odin chose the Destroyer armor as the protector of his Treasure Vault. This machine is made of very strong metal and can fire. Explosions that turn almost anything they touch into Ash in the comics. Odin has even used the Destroyer armor to fight Celestials in the MCU. Thor was able to defeat the Destroyer quite easily, but not before he nearly eliminated the Warriors 3 and laid waste to a New Mexico. city to the ground Hank Pym is one of the most brilliant minds in the universe created a particle that would reduce or expand the distance between atoms, he did not know all the incredible and powerful implications this would have not only does the particle give life to powerful adapts as Ant-Man, the Wasp, and Giant Man, but the Pym particle would prove to be the secret to entering the quantum realm, the gateway to time travel.
The Avengers would use the remaining particles to travel through time and recover the stones by reversing the Snap and ultimately defeated Thanos in the Avengers' endgame. It was revealed to be Thanos' weapon of choice throughout all of his years of conquest and violence. This double-bladed spinning sword of death was capable of achieving incredible feats that many thought impossible. He deflected a full-powered blast from Iron Man and cracked. Captain America's unbreakable shield, the material this weapon is made of, remains a mystery, but director Joe Russo has hinted at its origin, the blade may very well have been made by Itri, the nitivalir dwarf, and is made of a material that displaces vibranium from first place.
As the strongest material in the MCU, this is one of my favorites. The Melt Stick that appears in Thor Ragnarok was wielded by Topaz, the Grandmaster's right hand. At first glance, it doesn't look like much, just a ball on a stick, but the Grandmaster was able to use this stick to forgive his cousin of life by simply touching the spherical end of the stick to a living being that all melted into a puddle. of burnt toe smelling like orange goo we only see it used once but just think about it Thor went for the chest many said the head I stood up and screamed just use the Melt stick I call her Veronica code name Veronica the Hulkbuster armor was designed by Bruce Banner and Tony Stark as the worst measure if Hulk ever lost control again, we saw this come true when Scarlet Witch forced Hulk into an unbridled rage powered by multiple Arc reactors.
Veronica is able to launch extremely powerful energy beams, fly and deliver a series of powerful blows, she is followed closely by an aerial drone that replenishes any damaged parts of the armored suit in the end she achieved something that not many can claim to have taken on the Hulk. and he made sure to tear down a building to do it, but you don't need the details: an ancient relic. Belonging to the Frost Giants of Yotenheim, the Coffin of Ancient Winters is the MacGuffin of the first Thor movie. Hella may have thought he was weak, but his story shows everything but the ability to freeze anything, and everything the Frost Giants ever used to cause a literal Ice Age on Earth, revealed Loki's true heritage. and Loki used it to freeze Heimdal and allow the frost giants to enter Asgard, while its full potential is only glimpsed in the coffin of the ancient Winters. certainly a powerful artifact that anyone could find useful in wiping out armies or freezing powerful opponents, always the prankster, even in death.
Tony really was the hero despite all the self-centeredness and heartfelt boasting of him. Tony Stark truly was one of the greatest protectors Earth would have. What I've ever seen makes sense that, in the event of his untimely death, Tony would have come up with something for those living to continue to protect themselves. Tony created a surprisingly powerful arsenal of drones, all controlled by a central system called Edith. He left this system to Peter. Parker, who quickly learned of his espionage and destructive capabilities when Edith fell into the hands of the villain Quentin Beck, unleashed her true potential of illusions and firepower to create an Avengers-level threat and nearly destroyed London in the process. .
He passed on the mantle of the black panther. From warrior to warrior since the formation of the heart-shaped herb-powered nation of Wakanda, the Black Panther has already gained enhanced speed, strength, and fighting ability. The Wakandans learned to manipulate vibranium and over time created a black panther suit that made it the largest. Indestructible Warrior Once the smartest person in the MCU shuri got his hands on it, the Black Panther suit underwent a huge upgrade turning it into a devastating weapon along with its already sharpened claws and its impenetrable shuri fabric allowed the suit to be stored in the teeth of a collar, also allowed him to store and redistribute kinetic energy, knocking out groups of people at once.
Odin, all the ruling father of the nine Kingdoms in King of Asgard, is not surprisingly a very strong piece of weaponry, he has the distinction that only a few items have in that he can activate the bifrost, allowing the wearer to travel as far as he can. across the galaxy as you please. The spear is also clearly made of durable material, as Loki uses it in a one-on-one fight with his brother Thor wielding its sharp edge. he turns it into a useful spear and is eventually able to fire a laser beam of energy that can knock down anything in its path.
The Yucca Arrow is one of the most devastating weapons we've seen in the MCU to date once one masters it like Yondu has. the arrow can allow one man to eliminate entire fleets of people. All Yandu had to do was show the arrow to someone and it would cause them to surrender instantly. He used it to destroy at least two dozen Sakharan soldiers in the Battle of Zandar in almost an instant once captured by Taserface and a devastating mutiny. Yondu used a prototype fin to control the Yaka arrow and kill everyone on board and blow up the ship. , he was able to fend off the ego until the arrow finally broke now that the rocket has fixed it hopefully craglin has been working on his whistle forged in the heart of a dying star mjolnir is the hammer wielded by the Mighty God of Thunder a magical inscription It only allows those who are worthy to wield it and once they can they are granted the powers of Thor along with an incredible tool to build and a weapon to destroy, we have seen mjolnir summon lightning bolts when used by Thor and Captain America in Pretty smart moves.
We've seen mjolnir used to immobilize powerful villains who aren't worthy of wielding it. The hammer answers the questions of the worthy bearer. flame no matter how far away in the universe it is and always packs a powerful punch, it is terrifyingly well balanced and can even be used to grant the power of flight, a favorite weapon of the Dark Elves, the Cursed Stone was a piece of cursed magical weaponry. . that transformed the user into an unholy but all-powerful beast when the last of the cursed used it, he was able to break the cells of the Asgardian dungeon, burn the soldiers from the inside out and destroy the entire force field that the Cursed Stone allowed the Curse nearly destroyed Thor and Loki until something a little stronger stood in their way during the Battle of Wakanda, Android Vision had the unfortunate luck of being horribly killed not once but twice.
After time reversed his girlfriend by making him fly, Thanos ripped off the Mind Stone from his forehead, deactivating him seemingly forever for a while, it was a mystery what had happened to the strong shell that used to be Vision, as everyone around them were a little distracted by all their friends turning to dust moments later, it was revealed that Vision's body was taken by Sword, a government agency that deals with sentient weapons during the episode, acting director Tyler Hayward began work in Reawakening Vision to turn it into a powerful weapon. He managed to create a completely white, mindless and stoneless version of Vision.
This Vision still has all flight and energy phase powers. Blasts from the original, however, it would appear that at the end of a split, White Vision may have stopped being a weapon and become an individual when his memories of him were returned to him. These weapons are perhaps the most underrated source of power I have ever seen. In the MCU coming from a rather lackluster movie and perhaps the most lackluster villain in the MCU, the black hole grenades shown in Thor the Dark World possess a terrifying amount of power, they have the power to crush anything in their vicinity into a Literal Oblivion Once Malakith's minion algorithm became cursed, he was able to swat mjolnir like a seemingly unbeatable fly.
Loki was able to use a black hole grenade against him, destroying the Beast permanently. There seemed to be no limits to these incredibly powerful little objects that, in theory, could have made Thanos disappear much sooner. He even spoke the words Infinity Stones when Thor began his mission to defeat Thanos. He knew that he would need a very powerful weapon. Venturing to the Devil's Ear to see him, the dwarf Thor sought out a death-bearing assassin Titan known as the King's Weapon. Stormbreaker was an Ax forged in the Dying Star in Knit Avalir. It is said to be so powerful that it would crush those who lack the strength to wield it with the full powers of Mjolnir.
Allows Thor to summon lightningAnd fly. Additionally, this weapon can summon bifrost. It is possible to travel to inner space from anywhere. Stormbreaker even overcame a full blast from the entire Infinity Gauntlet to bury itself in Thanos' chest. The Infinity Stones are clearly the greatest power we've seen in the MCU to date, even if they don't hold that distinction forever when combined in The Infinity Gauntlet they make a being like Thanos capable of achieving anything in his case you know it was. eliminate half the universe, it's good to have goals I guess, but the Stones control every aspect of reality and even apart we've seen the stones achieve incredible feats of power the power Stone like Worlds decimated the reality Stone could turn the universe into Darkness the moment when Stone is able to defeat dormammu the Space Stone led to the rise of Hydra and Loki was able to wreak rebellious havoc in New York with the Mind Stone in Hand over the stones for powerful weapons such as Loki's scepter and Ronan's hammer In addition to bringing Android's vision to life, it would seem that the only thing powerful enough to surpass the stones would be the stones themselves when Thanos used them to produce the stones into atoms.
Thor. It represents the best of both worlds no, I'm not talking about Asgard and Midgard. I'm trying to make it clear that Thor is the funniest Avenger and the one who suffered the most. I mean, he's proven to be a comedic goldmine in Thor Ragnarok and Endgame, but also along the way he lost his hammer, his best friend, his parents, his people, his brother, his eye, and for a short time his metabolism. Thor is incredibly complex and today we'll delve into the finer details of his inner psychology. functioning of his mind and oh oh wait what is that oh we're not doing that we're ranking the most powerful weapons Thor has ever had in his place oh thank you all father for that because I want to talk about things that smash other things into pieces what is ?
Thor's strongest weapon, what is his weakest, let's start right now, oh my goodness, Emma Pujov, the ground, you lift me off the ground into the air and I would fly before we get into the individual weapons with fantastic sounding names. I thought we would do it. clear the deck and start with the weakest weapons, cut less impressive and start working your way up to the more powerful ones, so taking last place on this list is the group of weapons that Thor used to fight in sakar while facing to his friends from work to The Incredible Hulk, although they all had an incredible retro design, it was like bringing a knife to a gunfight or, in this case, bringing a knife to a Hulk fight.
The first set of weapons we see Thor try to use against the Hulk is a Shield Mason that belongs to the Gladiator before him, Fearsome Doug, okay, Fearsome Doug wasn't his nickname, but I wanted to spruce up his title a bit, it was just Doug, come on, of course an alien named Doug was going to lose to the Incredible. Hulk, I mean, that's just a losing battle, he's just not threatening enough. Oh, what is this? I just got a note from the CBR Council of Gods that I need to read. This video's personal attitude towards people named Doug does not reflect. cbr's opinions on people named Doug and TBR cannot be held responsible for any Doug-related outrage, okay, okay, I get it anyway.
Getting back to the fight, the Mason Shield lasts about three seconds when one hit from Hulk breaks the weapons immediately, man I can. Look at how Doug lost now and honestly I think it was a missed opportunity, sure the mace wasn't very good but seeing Thor with a shield was a great opportunity to do some Captain America jokes, wouldn't you expect Thor Ragnarok did it have a sequence? where Thor tries to copy Steve Rogers' style with the shield by throwing it and waiting for it to come back to him, that kind of joke would have worked perfectly there, but there's no time for that because we're on retractable swords, I mean, the name is.
They're self-explanatory, right, they're retractable swords that Thor pulls out ready to defend himself against the raging monster. These hold up a little better than the Mason shield and actually defend against a few attacks before bending and being knocked down, obviously, these are them. They're not vibranium swords, although someone should invest in them, so Thor decides to fight fire with fire a little and use one of Hulk's war hammers against the system. This is much more effective than his previous weapons, as it can send Hulk flying across the stadium. With a single punch, Thor tries the tried and true method of hitting Hulk with the Warhammer until Banner reappears, but you know what happens with the Hulk: he gets stronger the angrier he gets, so Thor, relentlessly hitting him with Warhammer, it only increases the anger and soon makes Warhammer ineffective overall.
He'd rate Sakar's weapon set a c-minus, they look flashy, but besides Warhammer didn't do anything useful, luckily the others on this list can do some serious damage, now's the time to get some. comic book runner the next weapon I want to talk about is Bjorn's thread, as we know mjolnir and Thor are the signature duo but have you ever considered what Thor used as a weapon before his famous hammer? Well it was an ax by the name of Jean Bjorn, also known as the destroyer of worlds now, this bad boy has a fascinating history, he was originally created by the dwarves for roona, who was an original member of The Valkyrie before being assimilated by The Headless Celestial, where's that backstory?
I am right? All I'm saying is that the OG Valkyries would make a fascinating Disney plus TV show, right? I mean if Agatha Harkness can get a spin-off show then dive into the Valkyries anyway in the comics Thor was getting tired of not being able to lift mjolnir so he switched to jar Bjorn instead and they had a series of fun adventures together, such as once he blessed the ax with his own blood, allowing it to pierce celestial armor, another time Thor lost Bjorn's thread, but eventually King the Conqueror recovered it from Baron Mordo's tomb. It's possible to get these three characters to meet in some way, but overall, this ax basically acts as Thor's rebound whenever he goes through a period where he's no longer worthy of mjolnir, it just switches to Bjorn, which it kind of puts the ax further down on this. list for that reason, but now I'm wondering if there's a way to incorporate Jar Bjorn into the MCU somehow, like yes, Thor has a Stormbreaker now, but that's such an OP weapon, will he carry it around forever?
No, he needs one. Good medium sized weapon to occupy his time for a while and enchanting Bjorn is just the ax for the job. Sure axes and hammers are fit for warriors, but you know what really makes you stand out: a staff and not just any step or half-king. one like Gandalf had one Jafar from Aladdin had one Maleficent had one if you want to look cool and menacing just get a cool staff that's where the weapon comes in Gung near was a spear staff hybrid made by uru that acted as a symbol of Asgardian royalty . whoever wields the staff is the king of Asgard or something, we know it's been passed down from generation to generation when we saw Odin's father, the boar king, wield it, then we saw Odin swing that thing a few times and finally Thor took it. possession. of this during Thor Ragnarok, the God of Thunder, then used it at the beginning of his final fight with Hella, which I would say is a bold strategy.
I mean, have we seen Thor actually fight with a staff before and there Thor is ready to fight? the strongest Baddie has ever faced with a weapon we don't even know if he's competent at, but at least he held his ground for a bit, eventually dropping it and not bothering to pick it up again, so that means more. The staff was most likely destroyed when Asgard turned into space dust, either that or just floating in space somewhere waiting for the next lucky person to stumble upon it. It's a cool artifact both for its prowess in the fight as for its real meaning.
I wish all our world leaders had real big sticks with them wherever they went, wouldn't that make the world a much better place? I think so. I would never forgive myself if I made a list of Thor's strongest weapons and didn't include the jonier frog. Yes, that's right, it just rolls off the jolnir frog's tongue and belongs to the Thunder Frog, naturally, that's how it developed. Thor was once turned into a frog by Loki Thor helped another frog named Puddle Gulp and finally Puddle Gulp saw Thor use mjolnir and thanks to a horse named Tooth Gsher a small splinter of the hammer broke off.
Puddle Gulp saw this took him and then transformed into a throg now he is the frog version of Thor, yes there are so many questions and he is so delightfully strange that I couldn't not mention him, he even has a small cameo in the Loki TV show, so I thought I'd give him some credit here now, although it makes me wonder what This would happen if we fused mjolnir into Parts, would each part be equally powerful no matter what it's cool about? We know there are a ton of different Universes now, which begs the question of which Main Universe we're going to see and what we'll spend our time on first.
A great option is Ultimate Universe, which sees big differences for some of our favorite heroes, one of them is the character of Thor, who in Ultimate Universe was a seemingly normal human completely named Goldman, who after turning 30 began to have hallucinations. from Asgard. he had repressed memories and was actually Thor, don't you hate that happening anyway? The definitive version of mjolnir has many similarities to the one on Earth in 616, but also many key differences, like did you know? it has 4D teleportation, so yes, the normal mjolnir has access to bifrost magic, but the nearby ultimate mural can transport objects and such to different places and although the OG is a magical weapon that only the worthy can lift, the ultimate mjolnir does not.
It has those enchantments since it was made by humans so overall it's a cool weapon and I'm glad there is a representation of mjolnir in universes other than ours and as a bonus a post update to Ultimate mjolnir saw Odin create a magical . one, so, oh, that's cool, although this might be a little controversial. I maintain that mjolnir is third on this list. Yes, it's what we'll always associate with Thor no matter what and we'll try, as the franchise does, to get excited about Thor and Jane reuniting in Thor, Love and Thunder, but we all know that the real reunion we're most excited about is the possibility for Thor to permanently reunite with mjolnir.
Thor and mjolnir go together like peanut butter and jelly, like Jimmy Woo and close-up magic. as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes' sister, she's simply a match made in heaven, forget all the great love stories the MCU has given us over the years. The true hearts of the franchise are Thor's relationship with mjolnir. That's a good way to put it, perhaps. That's getting a little carried away, but on the other hand, think about it for a second before Thor, Ragnarok. Thor felt that he was defined by his hammer and that he could only be a powerful warrior with it at his side and after it was destroyed, he thought he was less of a person, it wasn't until the ghost Odin gave him a pep talk telling him that the secret of his strength came from within him which really helped him and then the end of the game made Thor cry when he realized that he was still worthy of mjolnir after all this time and now he is on his own path which is the equivalent of someone who was in a relationship their entire life and became dependent on that person and then took a little time to grow on their own before finally being ready to accept another person back into their life.
Wow, that's a long way to explain how important Thor's journey back to Mjolnir is. Enough with all that, let's talk about the hammer-crushing, hammer-crushing stuff. Mjolnir is incredibly powerful, as it not only packs a lot of punch, but it also helped channel Thor's lightning, which could help him appear like he could fly, and provided a convenient way to catch enemies who weren't strong enough. worthy to wield it. I mean, seriously, is there a better use of a super weapon than immobilizing enemies? Somehow, in the first Thor, the God of Thunder trapped Loki by pinning him down with the hammer in The Avengers.
Thor made Hulk very angry by throwing the hammer and making Hulk confused about how he couldn't lift it in Age of Ultron. Not only did Thor stop the nearly unstoppable Quicksilver by forcing him to grab the hammer in the air, but he also provided a fun party game for all of his Avengers friends as they all took turns trying to lift the hammer, so which, overall, is an incredibly powerful weapon. He could defeat anyone who is not worthy. The whole worthy element really sets it apart from other weapons in terms of defeating bad guys, but I would argue that it is also a fundamental flaw of the weapon itself because it forces us to question what is considered worthy.use it and also ask why Thor doesn't lock on his enemies like he did Loki immediately and then future Thor movies would only be about 35 minutes each and who would want as powerful as mjolnir there to be an actual weapon.
That's up there, of course, is Stormbreaker, the weapon designed specifically to defeat Thanos. Now both mjolnir and stormbreaker were made in the same place, it actually comes from dwarves and they were both forged from uru metal. Uru is one of the strongest metals in the universe and that's right. it's right up there in terms of indestructibility with adamantium and vibranium and if we continue comparing stormbreaker to mjolnir then i think you'll find a lot of similarities but stormbreaker has a bit of an edge, it literally has a sharp edge because it's an ax while mjolnir is an instrument blunt, let me put it this way, it was incredibly easy to take Thanos's head off with Stormbreaker, but that's something that would require a lot more strength and skill if mjolnir were used for the same purpose.
Also, in the MCU I would say that Stormbreaker has an added benefit in that its handle is made from Groot's arm and side notes. Did anyone else have a problem with the scene while doing all this work to make Stormbreaker and emphasizing how important it is? to get the timing right, but then when everything is ready for handling, the group realizes that they don't have one nearby, come on guys, the fate of the universe is at stake here. Luckily, Groot is around to provide a sturdy grip for the new one. battle ax and the rest is history, it has many of the same properties as mjolnir, such as being able to use the bifrost, but it seems like it could augment Thor's lightning bolts by a significant amount now that it is the Stormbreaker we saw in the MCU, but what?
What about Stormbreaker? from the comics a Stormbreaker was originally made for Beta Ray Bill, a Corbynite who was mildly teased in Thor Ragnarok, but remains high on the list of the best Marvel characters who have yet to appear in the MCU in the comics, a Stormbreaker has the same thing. him, which is worthy of enchanting like mjolnir, as well as some additional powers like allowing Beta Ray Bill to transform into a human and creating portals to other areas, overall, it's a pretty powerful weapon, but will a Beta Ray Bill appear to claim it? In an upcoming Thor movie, I hope it's the most powerful weapon, although it's not very close to Stormbreaker and technically it's not even something Thor can wield.
Yes, that's right for the number one spot on this list. I'm ranking the Destroyer armor as Thor's best weapon. I know what you're saying, but CBR's disembodied voice we've never seen Thor use that as a weapon and to that I say fair, but it's the potential of the Destroyer armor. That's very exciting and could lead to big things for the MCU and Thor, what can I say? I am optimistic. We saw the destroyer in the MCU in the first Thor movie, when Loki took control of Asgard and therefore took control of the Destroyer armor and sent it to destroy Thor.
She turned out to be incredibly powerful and had the ability to level small towns with her awesome power. Thor attempted to sacrifice himself to save the village, but that only led to him being deemed worthy enough to wield mjolnir and transform back into his Asgardian God self. She was able to defeat the Destroyer by turning the energy on itself, but for now the actual location of the Destroyer's armor is unknown, it has been said that the original idea was for her to return in Thor Ragnarok during Hella's attack on Asgard only for Hella to destroy her, the fact that they ultimately decided not to include this scene could indicate important things, on one hand it could simply be that the pacing didn't quite work and we didn't need to see another scene of how powerful Hella was, but on the other hand, maybe they cut this. scene to keep the Destroyer's armor for later use.
Look, like I said, I'm an optimist in the comics, the Destroyer's armor was specifically made from a certain metal that was then enchanted by Odin thousands of years ago, it's supposed to be stronger. than adamantium uru and vibranium and was specifically designed in the past to fight against the celestials, that's right, the celestials, those all-powerful figures who are becoming increasingly important to the MCU as we continue to expand into the cosmos, so what? why is this important? The way the Destroyer armor works is that basically the user cannot wear the armor but rather project his life force into it to give it life.
So what if we find ourselves in a Nation situation where there is a Celestial and Thor fight, which it definitely is? one of the strongest fighters in the universe transfers his life force into the Destroyer armor to fight a Celestial. I didn't know that was what I wanted for Thor's character, but now it's all I can think about, so come on, MCU, bring back the Destroyer armor. probably just floating in space after the destruction of Asgard, right, what's been your favorite use of a Thor weapon? I'm torn between the time he cast mjolnir and forced it back so the fake Odin would reveal himself as Loki or the time he hung the hammer on him on the coat rack.
Tough launch, don't you think?
