s to the extreme so let's take this engine to the extreme and I just want you to know that I made these engine videos for you come on this engine is an absolute beast it has carburetors doubles, a complete ignition system, this is a

real

double overhead cam engine, V8 engine, more than the DIY engine, it also has an external water pump and retains oil in the oil.

The pan does not run on two cycles, it runs on pure gasoline. I like the fact that it has chainsaw carburetors. Let's start with this, see if it lives up to all the expectations, unlike the other V8s above, this one actually uses oil. 50 milliliters of 20 w50, plus it has a little oil sight glass right there, an oil pan and a drain plug. If you want to change the oil after about 5,000 miles, this is the terrain for the ignition system when you crank the engine. our ignition box is as easy as that I wish it were that easy in a real car we're just going to give it some gas oh gas comes out we have oil we have coolant we have gas we have spark now let's get this thing started and I'll see if it really works.

I think I have to prime this somehow. I'm looking forward to it. I just need a little. Here we go. That should start it. I heard it. Did you hear it? Come on baby, let's get some more starting fluid. I was originally going to break this engine in, but I'm having some ignition problems so I can't. do that, I'm just going to jump right into the max rpm test. I'm going to plug in the tachometer, start the engine, let it warm up and go full throttle and see what the max rpm is. Come on. I'll have a new problem I had the warmed up engine running and then I went to do full throttle it just shut down the carburetors don't hold gas they just don't fill let's open them up and see what's going on inside.

The whole carburetor came apart, maybe a little dust or something got in there and is preventing it from sealing. I'm going to clean this whole thing up, put it back together and after this run I'm going to throw these carburetors in the trash. and change it to something foreign better, come on let's see if we can get it right, that's all, it was so impressive, not really, I mean the engine is really good, but I personally think the ignition system is weak, that's what there is inside the distributor and this. A little contact plate here to make it sizzle and then sizzle again.
Close the gap between the plate and the distributor point here and the carburetors are weak, but the good news is that I think the engine is mechanically good enough to use on my next project. I'll probably do one more video where I configure this motor the way I think it should be configured. I think you'll be surprised by what I'm going to do next, at which point we'll be touching on the mechanics. limits of the engine so I will make sure we have a backup engine or some parts because once we do that the engine will most likely blow up but at least we will know the maximum rpm this engine can handle the reason why that I do this.
The motor videos are simply because I know they inspire people and people really like them.
