When, when did the bullying start at school in early October and how bad was it really, really bad, how, well, they pushed me against a wall and left me lying in a park and stuff and why were you

? ? Actually, I'm not sure if they ever gave a reason for what it was and you're your best friend. She tried to intervene, didn't she? She went and she approached the police and told them why, but she didn't seem to get any answers. So can you explain how being harassed makes you feel? Because you are a beautiful and charming young woman, but how does she feel?

How do they make you feel? She made me feel really left out, alone and sad. But. I don't want to feel like that and you went to school, right? You went to the principal's office, yeah, and what was said there is that she doesn't have any proof that it happened and she has to leave and she doesn't. You don't believe me. Did you feel supported? Did you feel like you had someone to talk to or turn to? No I felt like I had no one to talk to. How does that make you feel sad? Yes, it really is difficult, isn't it?

You were aware of what was happening because, like we said, I wasn't too much of a us at first, yeah, until I found some pictures in her room that she was drawing of herself, pictures of her with knives to her throat, um. and she drew her own tombstone. God, that must be really scary. She was coming home from school crying straight to her room. She just didn't talk to anyone. What did you do well? It was that she was putting me in touch with the school. They really weren't taking it seriously. I didn't receive any response.

I didn't know what else to do. I talked to some friends on social media. um and one of my friends was in the UK bikes against bullies group, she put us in touch and the rest is history as they too, let's find out a little bit about what bikes against bullies do so, how did you start

start? Because this is kind of a world idea that you brought to the UK, yeah, so my kids were

bullied

extensively for 12 months and then last summer I got support from similar organizations in America and elsewhere and one of the reliefs that my

children

The bullying was taking them to motorcycle events so it seemed to make sense to just set one up in the UK yeah and from there it just exploded and well you're all volunteers yeah are you a midwife? I'm a midwife Midwife that's your job um and then the bike enthusiasts bring their bikes. I didn't realize there are 5,000 of you across the country, which is amazing, and so how does it work? What do they do? Don't move around at school, right? Then a parent or friend will contact us and let us know that there is bullying. We get parents contacted right away thanks to our bully partners. they get qualified support for the family and the victims and in the meantime we see what we can do and we organize a support event where we get cyclists from the local area, we get cyclists who are willing to travel long distances and it's about just showing the victim that as a society We don't accept it that we are there for them that we care that you don't try to give them a little confidence and give them a boost to make your day this special day that you didn't know anything about was on your birthday yeah so where were you ?
I was at my house, you were at your house and then, what happened? How did everything develop? Well, my mom said and I was surprised because I went to say or I stayed there for a while and then all the bakers. I turned down the C and this is it and that makes a powerful sound because we can hear them here outside the studio, so look at that and what were you thinking? I was feeling everything. I was so excited and feeling isolated and alone like you. He said those bullies made you feel when they looked through the door of your house to be in the photo.
It's a great photo to see all those people there for you. What did that do for you? It just helped me and let me know that I had someone to talk to yeah and the harassment stopped, it didn't stop, but it's a lot better and for you guys, um, I mean, there's an investigation process because, uh, I guess they have to eliminate people who say something just to catch them. Yes, we spend a lot of time supporting the family and making sure they get the support they need and we don't always do a support run for them, but we make sure through the stalkers that they have qualified support. who need it and then we started doing a youth program that offers an anti-bullying program within schools and youth groups and this is empowering teenagers, isn't it going in and talking to other teenagers or younger

children

Yes, we, our partners, the harassers. We are just recruiting two young ambassadors to work within their communities and spread an anti-bullying message. Very good, I think you are all incredible, there are 5,000 volunteers throughout the country. What a great sight to see.
