what

I'm using on my face, I'll leave it. down in the description box below but other than that I'll stop rambling and get into the story so first we'll start with travis alexander so travis was born on july 29 1977 and while growing up travis said his life It was quite difficult.
love lies lust what really happened with jodi arias mystery makeup bailey sarian
He was one of eight siblings and his parents were addicted to meth, they would leave the kids to fend for themselves most of the time, Travis remembered that his mom would sleep for four days straight and the kids would do their best to make dinner. What they left him with in the kitchen, which was nothing more than a can of canned soup or spoiled food, so as Travis got older, he knew that his only option to save himself was to get out of there, so he practically moved to Riverside, California, to live with his grandmother now his grandmother she took him in she was Mormon and introduced him to her faith now travis took his new faith very seriously he went to church constantly and became dedicated to his new religion even When he grew up and gained his own independence he was still very loyal, so when Travis graduated from high school that's when he went on a mission with his church, which is like a rite of passage, after that he moved to Mesa.
Arizona because it was known for its community based on the Mormon faith. It's located pretty close to Phoenix and it's a good size, it's a good size city with a hot desert climate, not even hot, it's very hot, they don't even lie, I don't know how you guys do it. The kids are wild, which, honestly, that was new to me. I didn't know that Mesa Arizona was based on Mormons, so when I read that I thought, "Oh, that's good to know, I don't know why, but I didn't know that fun fact, so Travis came on." a job in prepaid legal services that was a multi-level marketing company now known as legal shield multi-level marketing or direct selling is huge in the Mormon community, they are often called, you know, pyramid schemes and they are not

really

known for being the most legitimate. way of doing business, so Travis was working there and also found a passion as a motivational speaker, so sharing his story and his struggles with others who may have gone through the same thing as him, his tough upbringing, beat the odds and broke the cycle.
I stayed away from drugs I was a kid, that's cool and he just wanted to share that story. I support it. Whoever won it was also writing a book about everything he had been through called Raising Me and he also worked on a blog where he was sharing his story his thoughts all of that now at the age of 29 Travis was quite successful he was handsome he had many friends he loved to do He laughed at people and was known to be quite flirtatious with his success at work he was able to buy his own house and also rented two rooms to his friends and also had a small black pug named Napoleon.
Yeah, I mean, things seem to be going really well for Travis. Now we are going to talk a little about Jody, who is the other player in this story, the murderer, let's say it because now he is jody

jodi

e jody jody so jody was born on July 9, 1980 in salinas california now she was the oldest of three and really not Much is said about her upbringing, it seemed normal in In high school, her parents discovered that she was trying to grow marijuana in a Tupperware and was keeping it on the roof. Her parents met us and found him fine, so her parents said, "Okay, we're going to search your room because we need to." Look

what

else you have, you have the devil's lettuce, they don't stop by her room today and Jody said that they were invading her personal space and she just felt that the trust between them was completely broken.
Jody wrote a lot in her journal saying how parents completely violated her space, but it's like, honey, you're in high school, you're growing marijuana, what do you expect? And I mean, that was one thing about her upbringing. I'm laughing because it's like her parents look like they tried. They tried. and I don't know where it went wrong, so when Jody was in high school, the family moved to a new town and Jody was writing in her journal how she felt really out of place, like she didn't belong there, she she seemed very upset. and very lonely, like she didn't really have anyone to talk to, i think this might be too dark, whoopsie-daisy, so her parents described her as smart but strange, her father said they thought maybe jody was bipolar because she be fine one second and then the next second she would go into a fit of rage her father said that jody verbally abused her mother a lot but was the type of person who never took responsibility for her actions, there seemed to be some kind of tension between Jody and her parents was hard to understand but it seemed like they did everything they could to raise her so in high school was when Jody was introduced to photography and found a new love, she enjoyed taking pictures and took them any chance she could now, In 2004, she moved to Palm Desert, California, with a boyfriend she had been dating at the time, the couple had moved into a house together and Jody was still doing photography, but also got a job. as a salesperson for a place called Legal Shield, the prepaid legal service that Travis also worked for, in September 2006, Legalshield was holding a work conference in Las Vegas where they had a group of their employees go out, travel expenses were cutlery, great, go to Las Vegas, everyone paid you.
You don't have to tell me twice, so at this convention they would meet different team members, they would attend different conference events, they would get motivated to sell, sell, sell, you know, one of the nights there was a group of people gathered for dinner at The Jungle Cafe Bougie, a group of people, including Jody, were there, they were kind of standing outside, waiting to be called to sit down, so Travis walks up to the group, introduces himself, and walks up to Jody and says hello. I'm Travis and everyone around said there was an instant connection between Jody and Travis.
They really hit it off, so throughout dinner the two of them talked and got to know each other. Travis seemed like friends and co-workers in love. They were excited because Travis had been single for a long time and everyone was really rooting for him to find who he was going to marry, so when they saw Jody and Travis chatting, they were all like, oh yeah, like she was the one, This is so cool, I'm so happy for him, I just need a little more concealer anyway, so that night Jody and Travis stayed up until four in the morning talking about life and religion and everything, so The next day, Travis was telling Co.-workers and friends that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and that Jody was just perfect.
The only downside was that she wasn't Mormon. He couldn't be with her unless she became Mormon, so once he finished the work convention. Jody and Travis exchanged phone numbers but both had to go their separate ways, Travis returned to Mesa Arizona and Jody returned to Palm Desert. They kept in touch pretty much forming a long distance relationship so remember how I said Jody was in a relationship, yes she was so she goes back to her boyfriend and ends up breaking up with the guy she knew was going nowhere. She wanted to get married, she wanted to have a family one day and her current boyfriend was already married once. before and didn't want to do that again so they broke up, Jody and Travis still kept in touch and Travis thought maybe he could introduce the Mormon religion to Jody so he gave her the Book of Mormon and invited her to church a couple times.
He many times he had Mormon missionaries come to his house and knock on the door and say, hey, do you know where you're going when you die or whatever they say nowadays? Travis said that when he talked to Jody, he always did. try to sneak in, you know, some Bible quotes, just trying to give you a good impression of the Mormon religion. He later gave her a ctr ring which is like a purity ring. He gave her some paintings of Jesus and the biography of the president of his church. Some sources had said that. Jody had already become interested in Mormonism before she met Travis, probably because of his job, it was like all the Mormons worked there, but it seems like their relationship is what really got her most involved with the church, so only two months later, on November 26, 2006.
Jody was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Travis was the one who baptized her, so she was in February 2007. Jody and Travis made it official, they still lived in different states, but they called via email frequently. The two of them took a lot of vacations together because they didn't live in the same place, so it became easier to meet up in one place, spend some time together, Jody would bring her camera and they would take a bunch of pictures. They bought this book that said a thousand places you have to see before you die and they were going through that list and traveling together, so over the course of their relationship they exchanged 82,000 emails and texted often, the couple had some interesting things . steamy sex and travis would refer to jody as his kryptonite now in the mormon faith having sex is a big deal, no, i mean, a big deal, but travis and jody were giving in to temptation and he was getting all kinds of weird, from Every once in a while Jody brought his camera. in the bedroom with the two of them, you know, from some memories, Travis said at the time that he felt like he had a big weight on his shoulders because he knew what he was doing and he knew that he shouldn't have been having sex, but he told her to people that he was almost addicted to it, so Jody again, technically still lived in Palm Desert, but he would go to Travis' house in Mesa, Arizona and stay overnight at his house from time to time, and his friends and roommates were there and said they had a very strange feeling about Jody, not even a strange feeling that they just liked her, they didn't like her because they noticed how possessive she was over him, so Travis's friend said that Jody would literally follow him everywhere, wait. uh here we go jody followed him everywhere he was rarely seen only if she was around travis would get up and go to the bathroom well guess what jody would go to the bathroom too she would follow him and then wait outside the door. i would expect it travis would be on his phone and jody would say who are you talking to what are you talking about she would check his phone she would check his emails he would hack his myspace myspace was a thing at this point she would hack his myspace she read his messages it was a bit much friends ofInvestigators were looking for DNA, fingerprints, hair, anything that could get to the bottom of this horrible crime, now based on the crime scene, detectives knew it was a personal attack they saw.
That Travis, he must have really fought hard and fought back, and it was just a gruesome scene with blood stains in the hallway, on the walls, the bathroom was covered, it was bad, so Travis was stabbed a total of 27 times, 27 times They cut his throat. cut I feel this is inappropriate while I'm doing my mascara they slit his throat from ear to ear and also shot him in the head. It was determined that Travis Alexander was murdered on June 4, 2008. While all of Travis's friends knew that it was Jody, technically they didn't have proof yet, so they had to go ahead and plan a funeral for Travis with all of his friends and family and Somehow Jody knew where she was when it was held and this sassy woman went to The funeral she attended is a special kind of joy, Jody, Jody, no one needs to tell her no from time to time, so around that time, Jody had called the station herself asking to speak to the detectives about the case, now she calls them correctly.
Hey, I just want to talk about the case and then they say okay, someone will contact you. Click, so she was a little irritated that her call wasn't returned, so she calls again and says, Hi, yeah, I already did. she finally she manages to communicate with someone and talks to someone. He tells the detective that he no longer lived there in Mesa Arizona and that he moved to Northern California, but he wanted to help out in any way he could. If he told the detective that the last time they spoke was on Tuesday, he ended up having a 41-hour conversation. minutes with the detective mostly and nothing else that caught the detective's attention was the fact that Jody was telling him that Travis had been messing around. suitable for his trip to Cancun so there is no way someone like her can overpower him and most likely it was two people who defeated him this is what he told the detective so the detective is thinking it's a strange comment, but okay. so at the crime scene there was a bloody hand print on the wall, blood was drawn in hopes of a DNA or fingerprint match.
Additionally, while searching the crime scene, investigators found a small blood stain on the washing machine. Then they looked at the washing machine like it was fine and they lifted it up, they lifted the lid, there were sheets, but mostly there was a camera, a black camera was left in the washing machine, it had gone through the bleach wash cycle, but the camera was taken hoping to find some kind of information. The camera's memory card had been deleted and the person who deleted them took five steps to delete these images, proving that no accidents occurred. If you have to follow five steps, you know what? what you're doing, you understand what I'm saying, that's what they're thinking anyway, on June 19th the camera's memory card was recovered and the first image that appeared was a nude photo of Jody at Jody's house.
Travis, but listen to this, listen to this. it had a timestamp on the pics yeah jody hey bame timestamp pay attention timestamp on the pics it said June 4th aka the night of the murder okay come out lol We have, wait because he understands this because it gets worse, so they keep watching. pictures, the next set of pictures were of Travis naked in bed and then possibly to put him in a vulnerable position, Jody appeared to have gotten Travis into the shower and started taking more pictures of him, so it was taken a photo at 5:30 p.m. of Travis in the shower water goes down and he looks straight into the camera like ooh and it's believed that this is the last photo of him alive because the next pictures were photos of what appeared to be the murder, yeah the camera was still shooting trapping Travis on the ground with blood. coming from her head with someone's leg in the picture you see what seemed to have

happened

, she took a photo of him in the shower and then the next two shots are like the camera falls like maybe it fell off her hand and ended up on the floor and he's just taking pictures, so technically you can't see Jody killing Travis, but the time stamps like everything was lining up it looked like while Travis was in the shower, Jody started his attack and tried to escape when she cut his throat and dragged him away.
She returned him to the bathroom where she shot him in the head and then put him in the shower and rinsed his body. She then she deleted the photos of her so she thought you know and then she took all the bedding and the camera and then she put them in the washing machine. It is now believed that Jody simply forgot to grab the camera and didn't want to wash it. Something that was not recovered from the camera was a sex tape that they had also made. I don't even know if it really exists or not, but Jody had to ask the investigators more. afternoon trying to evaluate how much they knew when they formed their story.
She said: Did they find the sex tape? and then when they said no, she said, "Okay, they didn't find the police camera." They go to Jody's grandparents' house where she lives, so when they leave it's July 15th and they're there to make an arrest. Police connected the dots that the gun she used to shoot Travis was the same caliber as Jody's grandfather's gun that was stolen. In that random robbery, remember that while they were at home they discover a rental car that Jody had packed with clothes, two knives, a nine millimeter semi-automatic pistol, he had a bunch of condoms and he was also sporting his freshly dyed brown hair, no one knows where .
She planned to do exactly all of these things, she would put money in the new boyfriend's house so they would bring her in for questioning and when they brought her in she was handcuffed and Jody was all smiles and they asked her if she had anything to do with it and she kept denying denying denying eventually, although the detective takes out those photos that were recovered from the camera and they asked or he asks, is this? You and Jody look at this picture of herself and say, well, she looks like me, it's clearly a picture of her, she's big-assed. naked, he is showing her this photo.
She looks like me. Jody said that she did indeed go to Utah and when they checked with Ryan, the guy she was supposed to meet, she said that she did come, but that she didn't arrive until June 5th. later than they had originally planned, he mentioned that nothing was out of the ordinary, jody was very happy and it seemed like she just didn't murder someone, you know she's just excited to be there, can you imagine a date arrives and you discover that they? Some were literally murdered, so when Jody was questioned, she maintained her innocence saying, "If I killed Travis, I would beg for the death penalty." I don't know why she felt that was helping her cause, but she said she's fine, the detective tells her.
Jody that they found a bloody handprint on the wall. The handprint was not Jody's, but after testing the DNA it came back as Travis and Jody's blood, so their blood mixed with Travis's blood and then there was a handprint on the wall that was from Travis. handprint, then the detective asks him like you know how this

happened

then and Jody's excuse was that his DNA was already in the room, so he finally tells Jody, look, game's over, you're the one. that is in the photos and your DNA. You're in the bedroom, all signs point to you.
Jody's first question or response was to ask if she could clean before being booked. She wanted to put on her makeup before taking her booking photo while she waited in the interrogation room. Some of you may remember this was when jody was doing a handstand she was alone she was doing a handstand in the room she was singing songs and talking to herself it's very unusual for someone to be accused of murder but jody said you know she was in the room for hours and hours she was bored she is innocent, she didn't kill anyone, so why can't she stand on her head and sing songs?
She's like you guys are being so mean to me. I don't know about you, but I've never been in a meeting somewhere serious and thinking. For me, God, I wish I could stand on my head right now. She is just strange. This Jody ends up being reserved. She's not allowed to wear makeup, thank God, because that would be another thing she gets right. Without makeup, she requires reservation from her. the photo is in jail the next day she comes back and has a new story this time jody wanted to tell the truth she said she was at travis' house when two people this is according to her she said two people dressed like ninjas and all black and masks Ski broke in the door at night, she said these people were trying to murder Travis, she wasn't sure why but she knew they were after Travis' ninjas.
Jody said they hit her in the head and then she passed out when she woke up and saw them in ski masks and she heard Travis yelling for her to go get help. The attackers had searched Jody's bag to find out who she was, her address, her parents' address, etc. She said that she fought one of the ninjas who was a woman. and I was able to escape because they were actually there to kill Travis and not her, okay, so she runs away, he said, then the detective asks, okay, well, why don't you call 9-1-1 then? and she said because my phone was dead, she didn't want to call 9-1-1 in general because these ninjas or whoever these people were knew where she lived and where her family was and she was afraid they would kill her, so that was her new story, okay?
Ninjas, the public became obsessed, I mean, this was a story with a lot of sex, a good-looking couple, people, oh, murder, I'm sorry, people were very interested in this when his trial started, there were a lot of people trying to get in the courtroom and a lot of people just waiting outside. until it was all over, so when Jodie showed up to trial, she now had her hair natural, was dressed in scruffy clothes and was wearing glasses, many thought this was a plan to look innocent like she couldn't hurt a fly and Honestly, she looked like that, she looked like a little librarian, no offense, librarians, but you know, she was the old school librarian with glasses and had crispy bangs.
Remember the new librarians are great, I don't want the librarians to get upset with me, I love it. in the library many believe that all of that was fake jody said it's not fake she no longer had access to hair dye her eyes went once they locked her up and she couldn't stop herself from looking like that it's very frustrating because if you see interviews with she wants to believe her and I don't know what that is, it's creepy because you're like, oh, she's right, I think it's the fact that she speaks in such a calm and very innocent voice, and you just don't know what I don't know during the trial. in court they put together the whole story what they believe happened based on the evidence they found this is what they believe happened when Jody went to make her trip to Utah she filled up two cans of gas for her trip from California to Utah.
This was strange because there are many gas stations everywhere. They were just trying to prove that this was premeditated. She didn't want to stop for gas. She didn't want to be caught on camera. Somewhere, Jody turned off her cell phone so she couldn't be tracked once she got to Travis' house. I'm not sure what happened to her once she got there, but at some point he let her in, they took sexy naked photos, and then Travis gets into her shower. where jody is taking more photos maybe convincing him that they are like sexy shower photos. arch jody asks for the final shot of him looking directly into the camera and then they believe she stabs him in the chest.
He comes out of the shower falling towards the sink. I think he was coughing because of the blood splatter. Jody is believed to come after him and stab him a bunch of times in the back. Travis is still alive and fighting for his life he tries to escape and heads down the hallway and then towards the end of the hallway he falls to the floor and it is believed that this is where Jody slits his throat she drags him back to the bathroom and then shoots him, puts him back in the shower to rinse him off.
Jody cleans up, puts the bedding and the camera in the washing machine. and then he goes to Utah, turns his phone back on once he gets to the main road and is quite far away from Travis' house trap, then calls Travis' phone, texts him, and emails him to make it seem like they had plans to meet in the future. and that she is driving, so during the trial, Jody then takes the stand and once again changes her story, this time, even though she does the worst of the worst, she blames Travis on the stand. Jody's crying says that Travis was controlling and abusive towards her.
I asked her if you killed Travis and she said she did, but she did it because she was protecting herself because Travis was Mormon and they were having sex. Jody used this to show that she was not a good person. Side note: I'm not saying this is true, this is what was presented in court, you understand, so she says like I'm a good Mormon, but I have all these emails, myspace messages, and voicemails that prove that he was not that religious man likeeveryone thought it was everyone. I thought I was a good Mormon, but behind the scenes we were having sex.
I have all the voicemails because she recorded a lot of them, I just tried to pretend that no one knew who he really was, therefore no one knew he was abusing me. a phone conversation he had saved where Travis told Jody that he wanted to tie her to a tree and then they used this in court in hopes of showing that he was really like the aggressive nut in this phone conversation they were having. like phone sex and he says I want to tie you to a tree which is fine you know I'm not here to judge have fun with your tree yeah they tried to turn it over which is disgusting she said that on the day of the murder. she walked into the room, wait let me tell you this is disturbing.
She came into the room on the day of the murder and caught Travis pleasuring himself and while he was pleasuring himself he was looking at a photo and then she said she went and took a closer look. the photo and realized it was a photo of a little boy, she said Travis got in the shower and she was taking photos of him, then Travis got really mad at her, he dropped the camera, which led to those photos accidental murder. He tried to attack her but she was able to grab a knife and stab him in the back and then while he was down she ran to the closet because that's where he kept his spare gun, not his spare gun, his gun, so she knew he was there and she went. she grabs him jody said he passed out okay he passed out he passed out she doesn't remember shooting him dragging him cutting his neck no she doesn't remember any of that the next thing she remembered was driving through the desert so jody new defense was that travis was hitting her and that he was a pedophile like the lowest of the lowest.
It's so disturbing it's so oh. It is stories like this that discredit many women who are being abused. I just want to punch her in the face. That was her. defense, he is a pedophile and now he is changing his stories like last week, casey anthony, going around, going around everywhere, so during the sentencing, jody was found guilty and the crowd inside and outside the courtroom cheered loudly Inside the court, it was like little murmurs, but Outside the court people were so excited that Next is sentencing day, so Jody shows up, this is another one like, oh God, I can't believe I did this for his sentence.
Jody shows up in the white t-shirt, the purple t-shirt, writing says survivor on it, survivor on it, okay. a total slap in the face to Travis's family who has the mind you like right behind her and the benches are those so called benches in the seats she sits on she tells the judge she had this shirt made for her to show them to everyone that she was a survivor of domestic abuse. she is holding it up high, this is to show that I am a survivor of domestic abuse and I will always remember to stay strong, it is so tall I couldn't believe it, it was like what I don't remember what, oh I told you she is. a special kind anyway so she's like I'm a survivor um so the jurors couldn't find a sentence for Jody that ends up leading to a mistrial yeah so a second one was held sentencing trial completed and ended in 2015.
With another jury deadlock at the end, although Jody was found guilty of first degree murder on May 8, 2013 and the judge sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole, now Jody she tried to appeal and this wasn't even March 24, 2020. Yes, she is trying to appeal. I am a survivor, but the court upheld Jody's first-degree murder conviction and life sentence and that My Friends is the horrible story about Jodi Arias. Now it's so interesting that I've seen so many interviews with her and stuff. They're still denying him tonight tonight girl, calm down, calm down, Jody had moved to a couple different prisons.
I think now they don't even want to stay where she is. I didn't really care to look, but I saw her move. A couple of times she had a lot of fans, a lot of men were like: let me participate in this, come on guys, what are you after her? There are plenty of other women, they don't need her, leave her alone, she needs to rot. she needs to think about what she did, leave her alone, she used to think about it, I think she's like Casey Anthony, I think she had been lying for so long that she actually believes her own

lies

, rest in peace Travis, he seemed live.
It was such a hard life, not that hard, but she turned it around and it was like doing it. He was a motivational speaker and tried to spread positivity. He just seemed like a good person. Jody, let me know your guys' thoughts below. Do you have any? I mean, what else? Can we say poor Travis? Thank you all so much for hanging out with me today.
