Look & Learn Trending Stitch Braid Style

Hello dolls, welcome back to my channel, so today I have my cousin here and we are going to do some

braid

s that I have been seeing

trending

on social media. If you follow the

braid

pages, I'm sure you've probably seen them. This is nothing too complicated, it's about 10 to 15

stitch

braids, but they're done in a design

style

that's kind of new, it's kind of different, but there's not much I can train you on in this video, so I'm not going to talk. so much, but while I'm not talking, I'm going to include some sound and music so you can listen and watch like you used to because you know when my channel started, I just played music that didn't.

I didn't even talk then, so this could be something similar, but I'll come in and out when I feel like there's something I can train you on or talk about the design, but for now you know, I've already started my famous middle part, this part will be the base because we're going to end up using this in the

style

and it's going to be our guide and then, you know, if you just want to see how this style is done. For this video I'm using the clean braid gel I'm using. the duchess's braids Precision comb that's how my parts are so sharp and what else I'm using the hair that she brought is the Expressions hair I like that hair and yes, quite a bit and some alligator clips from Amazon and my bracelet what I have in my hand is my silicone bracelet that will hold the jam because I hate having a jam on the back of my hand.

I like to put them on the bracelet and just take them off as easily as possible, it saves me a ton of time by being able to access the gel right there. on my wrist and not having to dip my hand in the bottle every time I need some gel, so that's what the Precision Comb Wristband is for and everything can be found on my website except for the gel and the exception of the alligator clips, but I'll link them in the description or in the comments section for you guys n n n okay, now here we are at the styling part of the style where the braids start in the middle and go in the opposite direction. at the beginning and then it takes a turn and starts to back up, so it's almost like a hook and that's the current style and it's going to alternate direction, uh, every turn it just doesn't have a lot of symmetry with this.

The style is kind of like as you guys can see below, the style just does its thing, so yeah, that's how it's going to start as a hook, so as you can see, I'm cleaning up this part. now and that's where the braid will start and then it will curve in the front and go to the back. Hey, as you can see, this has that Boomerang

look

to it, so we're going to keep alternating that style with just kind of angled parting first and then parting the other side going back or backwards. One thing I want to point out about her hair is that she has a smaller nape, so that's the size at the back of her neck, so when you're working with a client or someone who has a smaller name, it which means it doesn't have a big gap in the neck.

You have to increase the size of your braids to make sure they all fit in the back without them mixing together, so this is what I work on here with it is that when I go to the back, the braid becomes extremely small, the space that I need to braid becomes extremely smaller and that's why the middle part is important because the middle part will let me know, "Hey, like you." You need to make sure you have enough space back there to do this hair and don't get close if you start in the middle at the top, don't get close to the other side, you know, trying to take up space like you have to make everything fit on that side. and then make it all fit on the other side, that's why the first braid I did on her right side, that's why it fell short, I didn't take it all the way. back because I know she has a short nape and that's why that braid fell right behind her ear like that and then went down to the back of her neck because we don't have the space back there that we do.

I don't have the real estate, so one thing you can do when you're doing smaller braids for someone who has a smaller nape and there's nothing wrong with that, I mean, there's nothing wrong with I don't want me to say. This to make anyone feel like, oh, is it bad that the nape of the neck is short? It's not, but what you can definitely do is put a row or two of knotless box braids back there if you're going to do little, um, little braids that go in the back, so I didn't have as many little braids towards back and I knew it would fit without getting messy, which is why I didn't put any layers of knotless box braids in there to start, but that's my recommendation for If you're doing some straight backs and the person has a really small nape where the braids always end up mixed up one on top of the other, you should make at least one or two rows of small knotless bo box braids and that's it. not only to give volume to the hair, but it will also give you a lot more room to work with when you start braiding the hair back, but you always want it to be proportional, you always want to think forward when braiding, just don't think about just with that braid You always want to think 10 steps ahead so things like this don't happen after the fact, so you don't want to get halfway there and be like, oh my gosh, like all this hair doesn't

look

good on you. of having to evaluate the head before I even jump on it and that's one of the main things that I do is once I see the client, you see, I'm like fluffing the hair and stuff, yeah, that looks great for the camera.

In front of each video, but at the same time, what I'm doing is basically evaluating their head and that's one of the main things you do, once your client sits in your chair, you evaluate the size of their head in comparison with the style you have. They want it because the image she shows me of the style she wants, the person's head is much bigger than hers, so I knew from the beginning, okay, all those braids that person has on their head don't go to fit. her head, so I had to give it the same style but scale it down a little so I wouldn't have the photo she sent me, but I just wanted to let you know that sometimes you have to do it.

Assess the size of the person's head and things as small as the nape of the neck and know their hairline, all to make sure you can give them the style you want. I also like it if it was a style I knew. She was adamant about that. I can't reduce the size and still make it look good. I would have to tell you that all these words are not going to fit in your head and there is going to be that the style might not look the same. That's something you have to think about when you do anything. kind of braids and as you can see, I took out the edges because she loves her baby hair, and even the photo she showed me was full, as you know, really cute baby hair, like exaggerated, so that's what What will we do today, no.

I just took her hair out of her because I don't want to take away too much of the edges of her braids because I don't want it to get damaged, you know, damage it, that's what I'm doing now. I evaluated the size of her head and as you can see I am going to go back and this braid itself is also going to fall short, this is your time to take advantage of the hair that is just behind the ears and these are the braids that you can stop dry, so you don't have to braid them all the way back, as you can see, stop dead right behind her ear because we don't have any room there because then they'll be on top of each other. so now I'm on the last stretch of hair.

I know I said she wasn't going to talk much but you know she had something to say but we're on the last braid right now and yeah, everything is falling apart. in her place, she's all going to fall back and it's not going to look too crowded, so yeah, no, oh, she's okay, doll, so this is the final look. We planned to put some be at the end of her braids, but we ran out of time. She had her vehicle waiting for her, so she's going to go ahead and do it herself.
