rate of apartments to live in in a $2,000 apartment. It's suitable for a studio and minimum wage is $15, it's not livable so I decided living in my car was the best way to go.

Hi, I'm Z Desire and I want to thank you, Patrick. for inviting me to New Jersey Outdoors Adventures, I want to show you how I live in my car day to day, so the first thing I want to show you is how I get in my car and start my day, so at first when I'm up and ready I want to put on my makeup and brush my teeth, so to put on makeup I take this mirror that's on the side of the door and I put it here if I need extra light, I also have a light on the right. here that I could just turn it over and use and then for my makeup I have a little makeup bag that I bought for a dollar from Goodwill that I could just close and put makeup on to brush my teeth.

I always try to keep it simple. I keep everything in this middle drawer and keep my mouthwash on the side. I keep my toothbrush here and I use it and I have water that I rinse my toothbrush with. Put it back in when you're done and put it away. So this is probably what you're wondering. I have a cat in the car with me. How do I take care of my cat in such a small car? I have a sandbox. It smells good like baking soda and as everyone knows this is the bathroom so when I get to a car wash it's a good area to have some privacy with this door here and I just lift it up and take my shovel and pick it up and it's the best way to do it if you want privacy um this toilet I could display on the other side but I put it in the middle and I use it inside the vehicle when I need it, it's useful when you have IBS all my shoes are stored down here, it's good way to keep All Storage out of the front, out of sight, so in case you're wondering what kind of car this is, this is a 2002 Chevy cavaliere that I bought on Facebook Marketplace for $000, this is a great car to buy.

I feel like it's underrated, there are so many cars that are the Chevy Cavalier posted on Facebook Marketplace for such a cheap price and there's nothing wrong with them so people definitely overlook them, they are good cars especially if you're in college . I originally had a schoolboy. and it didn't go very well, so I decided it would be better for me to stay in my car and save, maybe in the future I can get the school of my dreams, but for now this has definitely helped me a lot. This is where I sleep. I just have a random storage bag with my makeup and extra hair products that I always keep on the side, all my pillows and blankets to keep me warm.

I have a blackout for my window that I bought. The rest I made by hand with reflectors and adhesive and it was better for me to use them this way because I was trying to be cost effective. I have been living in this Chevy Cavalier O2 for the last 6 months and it has been a bit cold. snowy nights here and there and I've manifested quite a bit um it's very hot in here because of the reflections and because it's such a small area I can turn on my car for about 15 minutes put on some blankets I have a heating blanket that I can use and I plug it in straight to my power source and I'm good all night.
I woke up with snow on the windshield and it was such a beautiful sight to just go out and see snow everywhere and then get in your car and be comfortable and watch it snow, so what you might find interesting is that I built the rig for my bed, it was a file, it was a free piece of plywood that I bought from Lowe's, it comes between the floor. when they arrived for shipping, it was the exact size I needed, which was 4x5. I bought L brackets and bolted them together with a 2x4 I had cut at Lowe's.
I didn't plug it in near the base I just put in. I put it on top, near my trunk, and then I bought $12 foam to put it on top, which was a double size, and then I just cover it with a blanket, so I can't feel this at all. It's very comfortable once I have the padding underneath. I ended up using the rug that came from my trunk and just put it over where the seats used to be. Now I have extra storage for my cooler, my oils and my tire inflator and of course my cat hiding back there, so let me.
I show you how I normally get into the vehicle, so I take off my shoes. I move things around as I get back there in a small confined space. You have to work with what you have even though I have. Moving things is not stressful at all. I get in, I get in, I get comfortable and I lie down. At first when I built it I was nervous because I wouldn't have room, but it's actually very comfortable. I can twist and turn without being interrupted by this bar upstairs at night when I close the door, put my pillows to the side and it almost insulates the vehicle more and also creates a more comfortable environment when it was snowing.
I lay down like this and I had my blanket. above me and I was very calm and collected when it was cold here I had the reflector up and that would help a lot with the cold that comes through the doors in the summer it is a little hot and I use this USB fan which is very useful. I just plug it into any USB power source or even my car and let it run to get some air flowing because I don't have a max air fan in the small car and then I can also look out the open windows and use this.
Well, I use this mesh I have and put it over the windows at night. I put my cat's water bowl on Dish up here and move my toilet right in the middle. Living with IBS is no joke and when you have to go, you have to go. have that emergency source so you don't have any accidents, you're probably wondering how does this work, how do I sit on my toilet inside such a small vehicle, well I can do what I can and I'll show you how like this I can't sit at all but it is not strenuous in any way.
I just do what I have to do, pull up my pants without turning off the light, tie the bag and throw it away, so here I have a storage shelf that I made out of wood that I bought from Lowe's and I decided to put containers on it because they happen to fit. I have some food. I thought this was creative, just a little pencil box with all my sides. and another pencil box with my condiments that I use in every car, life needs a USB charging blender of course I still have some, this is the kind of food you have to cook when you live in a vehicle, like practically instant meals and quick, so puddings and mini jellies, things that you can enjoy without a refrigerator and then here I have my container of mini appliances.
I have made eggs in these pancakes. I can make stews. Anything with the crock pot can be done with this and my kettle, which I use for tea and soon coffee here. I have my power bank. I think most of the time I cook in my car and I'll put the items in here and leave the window open while I cook, but I do want to do it outside. I'll put the power bank somewhere and cook here with the door wide open. This is WS600. This is everything you need when you live in a car. I have my entrance to charge it, exit to use my kettle and this.
For my crock poot it also has a light on the back so it's a no name power source but I love it. What is your monthly expense? So my monthly car insurance is $74 and that's it. It was the cheapest I could find. That's all I need for this type of vehicle. and my storage unit is 5x10, $45 a month. I got it on an offer. Right now, the only thing I really have stored is my. I have rugs, a mini refrigerator, and laundry baskets, just things I would want in my future. schoolboy that are new and I am saving to eventually be able to leave this vehicle, so without paying

I have $10 for the plan and fitness 45 for my storage 75 for my car insurance and the rest is food and things you need to survive yeah yeah that's all I have. My phone bill is currently paid for by government assistance so I don't even need internet or anything as far as my phone is fine and then what's next? Where are you going? Because you can go anywhere, yes, of course, so I would like to travel. I even have a place in California, maybe there is a possible job lined up for dog sitting, which is of interest to me.
