would have been another year, my mock

draft

this morning would have been very different from the one we did in the Pod, but do you know why these rules are totally different than the rules I submitted? sent no, this is exactly what you sent. I copied and pasted from our messaging clients. Sorry, ridiculous, go ahead, okay, next rule, three points. for a player match with the team and the choice point is okay, it makes sense two points for equalizing the player and the team, but in a different place Fair three point bonus this is big here is where you can win a title here a three point bonus for joining a player with the team at the pick spot with a trade okay and um if we're tied after the First round, the first mocker to correctly guess a second round pick will win.

I mean, where first there was the identity of just specifically number 32 over a selection and then jump-off 2 was a jumping competition, so you sent mixed messages because these are the rules that Dan presented in our group chat, yesterday yours where did you send, yes, Dan asked me. to send it, I did it, I did it, I did it. I like the jumping jacks challenge, yeah, what was the other one? That was because they had already made the 32nd overall pick, uh, and then, all right, one of them was right, it would raise something. tension on Friday and if it's not a jumping competition, I also have my sports locks there, so you have your sports locks, of course, one of them has already been voided because I said no human eye would ever see Lamar Jackson in our planet. and 10 hours later he signed a contract, yes, he was a very big figure today, okay, the pick is for the first overall pick of the Carolina Panthers, there is no way this is not what we believe is right, as if there was no stage. like Reddit's Will Levis thing, there was a 15 minute period today where a random agent said Anthony Richards was going to go higher than you think and then ESPN's Jeremy Fowler was like Anthony Richardson, you know what really was considered. by the Panthers and for 10 minutes there was some tension and then it was quickly destroyed by all the Insiders saying it's going to be young Bryce and then we hope it's young Bryce and if you're just

More Interesting Facts About,

live 2023 nfl draft watch party around the nfl podcast...

We'll tell you what happened, but you should probably have both screens on, yeah, could you figure it out? Just put them on mute and then listen to, yes, NFL Network. on your TV and then get a phone, laptop, tablet, any other device to watch YouTube and connect us that easy, that's essentially modern technology that doesn't seem like anything needs to be explained, what about cord cutters ? a bad place, the cable cutters, well, the bangs in the biggest of all places. I would say they can take out their phones, go to the NFL app and watch the broadcast there, so just watch YouTube, you know, look, oh yeah, it's going to be in the NFL. fast channels uh the chord cutters are everywhere okay here we go we got Raj looks good getting booed okay Bryce young man there you go actually and you know look at this with a beautiful beautiful suit, without a tie, like movement, it is casual. but being serious about his career um interesting uh here we finally are for the Carolina Panthers and a shout out to all the Panthers fans uh on the broadcast right now uh because, jeez, this is a long road, this was a long road, By the way, we need one.

Another element here we are going to rate the draft selection from one to ten. This one's pretty easy for me is that what we're doing is one, yeah, I'm going to 10. I feel really good about this, I'm going to go to 10 right after. um this is the type of content that you can't just put in the

podcast

, it's visual cues, uh, oh, eight, okay, ten, eight, why eight, why isn't that a perfect move for the Panthers in this one? moment, it's not that it's not illogical or it's not perfect. Move on, I want to see where you are in a couple of years, so I think Anthony Richardson does, but then I'll give each pick a 10.

Then, Greg, I'm trying to add a little nuance here and, like, what? you do? Do you mind if I was really excited about that like three LSD pills 45 minutes ago and we're all dealing with Fallout uh? I just think it's like his size. I think it's a problem. I want to see how they plan an offensive. but for the Panthers who have been on a Wilderness quarterback for years, um if it works out there's no turning back yeah I hate it I'm just giving it an eight yeah I think there are reasons why it shouldn't , believe. what you're saying is not Andrew, it's Trevor Lawrence, if it's Andrew Luck, if it's Peyton Manning, Joe Burrow, but there is some concern here about the prospect, however, what a great day this is for the Panthers and their fans who since Cam.
Newton aged and got beat up quickly, he's been in the desert, this is the team that a few years ago pivoted to Sam Darnold and then if that wasn't enough they said let's have a Baker Mayfield in our lifetime too who didn't. Work, they even had Cam Newton back and the most completely forgotten stretch of games in NFL history. Cam Newton's return a couple years ago to Carolina um and now they're finally trying to get Matthew Stafford uh that didn't work out we hear. that they were in the mix for Deshawn Watson, yeah right, that obviously didn't work out and now finally after negotiating they get the guy they wanted for themselves so much, apparently it was him all along and the report was that they knew it.
It was him when they changed, they wanted to confirm it and they confirmed it. I really think about that Davis Mills game because he would have been a Texan and I think we're going to see who the Texans pick next and we'll do it. Let's see if it's going to be CJ Stroud and we'll think about those two guys and maybe Stroud is better, but I give him 10 more marks for the process, it was a totally fair trade. They made it happen and took out Fox. Texans, today more reports came out from Jay Glazer that the Texans really thought they were going to get the first pick and they got backed into a corner and weren't willing to cross the goal line at the end of the game.
Panthers um they traded up to one at one point uh the bears really think they were going to trade two with the Texans and then trade up to nine because the Panthers were desperate to get to one or two, they really wanted Bryce young and at some point they ended up being those who closed the deal. I love that and let's hear from a Panthers fan. In fact, we have an official statement from David Ealy, the famous Panthers fan. We have her. now in the NFL media we do, we could, hopefully, we can see it on our board uh Lonely no More David Ely, I mean, he bought a bottle of champagne for Cam Newton's Super Bowl, he never drank it, oh, he he drank it alone in a jacuzzi after his our girlfriend broke up with him we uh we love our little King QP keeps hitting simple but effective Ely isn't the tallest man um but Bryce isn't young either when Melissa Stark interviews him um he's not so low if it is if it's face to face with Stark oh, that's, you know, yeah, like uh, she's Dikembe Mutombo or something, well, she's Melissa Stark.
I'd say she's 510, you know, and so is he. I love how in his you know one, where they grilled him all week about this, he would really just back off. and he said look I'm not, I'm not going to get any taller, I am what I am and like he's been this player his whole life and he's found amazing ways to work with his own physical limitations on that front, does anyone have any time? I tried using bands like um on their cleats, you know, like giving you a little more, yeah, they make you a faster runner, even though they go like two inches and you just put the cleats underneath, yeah, I just throw it in there like it's a In short , King and I don't think we need to change it, but maybe it's worth a try.
I'm just throwing it out there. He answers at night. It's as if his idea is typical. He is not a typical number one overall pick. type of team, good offensive line, good head coach, Frank Reich, who I really think can develop a quarterback and an attractive defense, like there's a reason they had the ninth pick, they're not one of the worst teams in the league, it's a good place. to land a young quarterback compared to Houston, if they ruled me out I would be much happier to land in Carolina, well a couple of weeks ago we asked to pick a team that could quickly transform from previous fortunes to this year's and believe.
The Panthers are that team, you know they had good players under Matt's rule. I just think you hope Frank Wright can come in and completely reorganize the offense. Well, now Jessica is getting up. Jessica, who is officially in charge of the scoreboard in the drill. draft off, that's a three point score for both men and congratulations to both guys, uh, whoever picked the player, picked the team, picked the spot, so that's three points, three to three at the beginning of the mock draft. I'm more interested in the selection. is ready for the Texans, which is the most talked about pick, oh I have sandwiches here if this is if if this is CJ Stroud sandwiches baby what's your prop?
They stay at number two and take CJ Stroud, wow, so after all the talk. the Houston Texans and there was a lot of talk on the ramp of this draft that they didn't want the pick that they weren't high on CJ Stroud that they were going to trade the pick that maybe they didn't even take a quarterback, they take quarterback CJ Stroud and, good for them, based on Glazer's report, yeah, you know, I'll take it down a notch and give it a nine here. I'm going to get a nine on this one when one of the people in the chat said that Jessica's segment is a 10 out of 10.
A nine for similar reasons you didn't get the guy you wanted, but I made the right decision in choosing a quarterback. field here and I loved the three best quarterbacks in this draft. Anthony Richardson Stroud and reinforce I think it was a great quarterback draft. I don't know what people were talking about and they understand, can I just add? with uh, you know, with the way it worked out with Bryce Young, all that Hokum, all that crap about the Panthers getting fleeced, uh, because DJ Moore is in that trade, no, they were aggressive, they wanted their guy and he They got it and the Texans didn't understand that. guy, but Mark and I see that you have a perfect 10 here, yeah, they end up getting CJ Stroud, who some people believe is the superior quarterback to Bryce Young and a better prospect, so he might be.
I thought watching his tape, his ability, his ability to pitch. It was one of the most fun things to watch for any player in this draft and I know the S2 testing raised concerns, we'll see how it plays out. I thought he answered questions about that pretty well this week too and I give him a 10 because if you're the Texans and you went defense here, okay, you can get like Miles Garrett type um, but Miles Garrett minus a quarterback in another year by Davis Mills leaves you in the deep woods if you're the Texans, I mean you.
I had to be a quarterback here. I'm a little surprised that they did it because it seemed like all the reports up until now were that they were going to go against that concept, but you've given yourself a chance in a league where if you don't have Davis Mills you're going to win five or six games again, we already know what Davis Mills is, you had to do this. I think you have the second best quarterback in the draft. Can we back up the reports for a second, the reports were terrible, the reports are always terrible in the draft when it comes to journalists saying that League scouts from other teams believe this.
I give the Texans credit that no one knew what they were doing the entire time they didn't do it. any leak and yet there's like an information vacuum and people were patting themselves on the back a lot, hey, hey, I got the news that they wouldn't take stre, you know, an early quarterback and it's like everyone's chasing yours. "No one ever knew, it's bad reporting and everyone forgets about it and when they're wrong, you know who they should have listened to was old Zeuser because Tugboat explained it. Jeremiah cares about Jeremiah, I think you do." . They are there, they should have had their ears open to what you have been saying for a long time.
Well, all I was saying was that after last year passing a QB sitting at number two to pass again, it just didn't pass the sniff test for me and that's why I felt good about this and I'm thinking on going to lunch, I'm Nick Nick Fortier, by the way, yeah or 40a, Nick, yeah, our numbers are growing up to 4800. You can call your friends. break five thousand um call your mom can you imagine calling a friend and saying something like log in to this YouTube event like there's a really small man uh just laying down like Lineback really makes me look smaller?
I'm looking at the thing right now it's special I think you look good this is uh look at that look at uh CJ Stroud's emotions very cool uh no but I do that that was the reason I didn't put as much into all that smoke around him because it makes a lot of sense now thatThe Texans have the quarterback to make another move here and look like a big winner on night one. You didn't even say Strat, you just said fourth, stay and draft. QB, wow, we take it, that was a great job on her part, so I bought two sandwiches right away, so Jessica doesn't write a big fat zero when she makes a mistake, right?
We'll just update it when when it's okay, okay, because that's what yeah, well, let's remember in the mock draft I also have Stroud going to the Texans, it wasn't a spot, but you absolutely got some points with you, whether it's a big zero, you can say you choose zero, that's two. points according to our scoring system when you have the player, okay, let's update the scoreboard here. Justin hoped no one would mention it when you have the player. I mean, I'm focused on the results and the team, but it's not the place of the draft, now Justin, they sent you two different scoring systems, one for me, one for Dan, was there even a conversation of "I'm going to go with the dance" or did you just assume that's how things go, I don't want to upset Dan, I'll just do it without even thinking you've presented it properly.
I think there's a way to look at it without upsetting Dan or I could have just said oh, dancing is so much better so I'll just do this. they were pretty similar they were similar what was yours mine was you got half a point um yeah the exchange for the exchange place basically I have to say that Jessica's handwriting uh the number writing is an A plus can we get a close-up because they are good people? look at the score here uh because uh can I suggest something else Jessica, can we actually explore the space on that board?
Do you want to do that? Why not? Why don't we go a little? Know? Those five give us a great threesome, let's go crazy in the next update, you don't have to do it now, by the way, uh, Texas will be visible again. I think this is a good thing for America, they will be. visible again I think CJ Stroud fits Bobby Sloke's scheme, which is a very similar scheme and we are seeing a lot of excitement in the Texans draft room. I mean, they knew Stroud would be there all along, so, it's nice to have your franchise quarterback, though, it's interesting because there's a trade here.
Stroud had that S2 score. Oh, the Texans are back on the clock at three, which means Gravedigger lost sandwiches. That's it, that's why they're going crazy. They have exchanged. They exchanged in the third. Find the Cardinal point um Justin is back in the top three now both if this is Will Anderson it's probably good once again we'd get points for both of us yeah oh I love the Texans going super. I wonder what the terms are, um, they get super. aggressive here and picking when it's, when that happens, they have that 12th pick, so maybe that's what was bought in reverse, but true, I'm sure they toured on their 12th and something next year , that is the future choice, but I love it, I have to think. is Will Anderson just because of the Alabama connection, yeah, for everything everyone says about Will Anderson, Nick Saban said it on Thursday that if you asked everyone on the team who they would like to be, like Will Anderson, it's their choice As the. incredibly productive, there was a lot of talk about Tyree Wilson, uh, and I have sandwiches I'm going to lose if it's Will Anderson, but I think Will Anderson makes sense as the pick, how exciting it's been a tough ride for the Texans and Houston for now. a few years and now they are going out tonight.
I don't even care who they choose. Obviously he's going to be one of these top prospects unless they do something really impactful and people say. You know this team is ready to come back, get back in contention and remember the AFC South, no offense, Gravedigger, no big shakeups, I mean, that's a division, the Jaguars, they just lost their left tackle to a ped ban for a period of time. In times like this, this is a division where you can get competitive. Now the old Texans would take Will Levis here and completely confuse the entire process. I guess that's not what they do.
Now it comes, here it comes. Bot is still very good. uh, it looks great in a bag, well, yeah, I think he can afford a personal trainer who uh, he's built like a gallery, like an inverted triangle, big, sharp guy like 60, he's not that old, he's got to be close, choose three there. it's Will Anderson Will Anderson Edge from Alabama, so there you have it, you've got the Houston Texans going 2-3 in a row, getting their quarterback and then getting this super talented Edge running back. I love what they are doing here. I love his draft. here, that's a 10 for them, it's an easy 10.
Yeah, the key to getting high draft grades overall, as in uh, are we tabulating these scores? I love the perfect first tens and who's the tabulator, that's him, those are the exchanges that are coming. the key to having a good grade on these post draft grades is that you only have several first round picks, if you have two first round picks you usually get an A, if you have one less it is less likely, how are we doing in the score? the mock draft score that you guys get, we both had the Texans' Will Anderson, so spot and not spot, although no, two points each, yeah, now really explore that space on the board.
Jess, here you have to do that. carpet, look at that seven, it's a good job, look, listen, it's your board. I'm not going to approach Jessica if she doesn't want to go big with the numbers, that's her move, that's her, I mean, she's working within the framework of Oh, right, I think the camera structure there, but she she's got a lot of work in the frame, okay, I get what you mean, but again, that's her, yeah, oh Jessica, you got it, dude, she's supposed to be at her real job right now, so you know. anything, I mean the chat room wants more, I think they want her to just become a co-host, that's something we'll consider for future shows.
I love this because I think that's one of the reasons I thought they could hold their own in the number. The second was you give them Miko Ryan as their man to build their defense about 10 minutes later, they did it and it's like they're not going to go through this rotating coaching situation anymore. I think this is the guy who will be here for years and Will Anderson is someone you can build the entire operation around. I love it, there's this whole idea that Tyree Wilson has a bigger advantage than Will Anderson because he's longer and looks a little more alike. like the guy 275 crazy practice numbers that the team that loves Will Anderson has been incredibly productive every year he's been at Alabama like he's had sacks year after year after year, he's been one of the best defensive players, uh, in one of the best. schools and it seemed like people were thinking too much about it.
He is also 21 years old. Tyree Wilson is 23, so he can improve a lot. Maybe he's a Khalil Mack type. Don't you know, he's not the tallest guy in the world, but he's very strong. This is very exciting. Very exciting. I see it from the way we got this is a Flashpoint moment in the upcoming draft when Will Anderson is interviewed by Melissa Stark. This is the Colts' pick and I think Mark, I'd be surprised if he wasn't a quarterback, well I think it has to be because Chris Ballard, even though he swung and missed and missed like seven quarterbacks at this point, didn't.
Is there another way to do it, um, what it comes down to is that there are so many things that haven't done this yet. They haven't had this kind of pick, they haven't had a pick this high since Andrew Luck, they've tried to go in other directions with the veterans, it hasn't worked, there's been a lot of rumors around Levis, there's just "There's something about Anthony Richardson with Shane Steichen I really love the idea, but we're four minutes away from finding out. I'd be surprised if the Colts don't take a quarterback here. I don't think this has worked out perfectly and we." I'm seeing that the selection is in.
I think they were hoping all this smoke from the shroud was real and if you want to put anything you know about why this would have been out there, I don't know because the Texans did know they were there. they're going to go two and take Stroud, they have nothing to gain by putting up something fake, but certainly the Colts could have waited for Stroud, I think to get to them, I think it would have been a natural choice, I really hope they take Anthony Richardson. uh I think he'd be a lot of fun too and uh there were reports that Richardson has information that he's going to go a little higher than people think, that it could be the Colts, that it could be the Seahawks, that it could be the Lions .
I'll check out the cool recruiting board in the Colts war room. They used to call it a war room. I hate, I hate these things. It used to be the war room and then it was considered. I guess it was insensitive to call it a war room. because there's war, okay, it's a recruiting room, um, the whole wall from the floor, there's always a war, it's a fair point, there's been a lot of war, um, from the floor to the ceiling, the blackboard and, in At some point, it's like that's not the case. It seems like it's useful in terms of what you're trying to do, like how do you get to the top of the border?
It feels flashy, it's not, it's no less fun, a little more, for show, I'm digging it. a point from the beginning for its too flashy draft room. I don't know and you could say it's unfair. I don't mind. I believe you have that power here in the power of steel here in this place. Can we use drops on it? Live streaming is something we can do, that's fun, uh, I feel power, here we go, there's something strange about hearing the can we drop, I feel power in the video, it shows that we have some time here, it seems like a minute, maybe, so I'm alone.
I'm going to quickly run through some of these sandwich accessories. I already lost the one I had. Tyree Wilson, so he's a big owl. Justin already lost one. I have exchanges at the top. Here we go. Mark Mac Jones is not a patriot at the end of the chapter. Draft Packers draft at least four wide receivers, tight ends, uh, a non-human, non-animal, makes a draft pick that's probably a day three scenario, that has to be Greg, Tyree Wilson is the first defensive player to takes the draft and is out of the four. Top young QBs Stroud Levis and Richardson are selected in the top ten in play Greggy, in fact you might have three of four to start so I think you're going to be fine, DeAndre Hopkins gets traded to the bills at the end of the draft here. it's the cult pick I feel like this is the first real flash point oh yeah yeah that's what I'm talking about Anthony Richardson this is a big change for Jim Ursay and the Cults and Shane Steichen um can I point out one Gravedigger thing?
It's been very quiet over there because he's watching the AFC South transform before his eyes for the last 15 minutes and he doesn't like what he sees, oh what do you know, someone in the chat said, "Put in Gravedigger Graves, the mockery of Justin in the grave." That's it, I give this an 11. It's allowed, uh, I think we maxed it out at 10, but that shows how much you love the selection. You know, he would have given it a nine, but that doesn't work, you can't. look at him, I think he's bold, I mean, I know he's, you know there's something about college quarterbacks with limited starts, um, that's a problem, maybe, but Richardson just has incredible potential and I think That he is with the right coach, it is a big change and we talked there.
In the most recent

podcast

there are concerns about that it was at 11 when I raised the only people who were saying that the part turns against you at the most important point, um, that his accuracy in the short game is not great, but he It's just in many, uh. Respect the most athletic quarterback the league has ever seen come in when you look at what he did at the combine in his college game, so if he develops Greggy, this is if he develops and Josh Allen is an outlier, but people are still mentioning. Josh Allen because of the size and speed and skill set, um, and the ability to improve in terms of his passing game, especially that short game, he'll be able to throw bombs, Greg, if he can learn to be a QB on others.
Realms, yeah, watch out, I love this pick because he can play right away too. There was this whole idea that, oh, Anthony Richardson should sit for a while and, like he's a project, he hasn't played much football, I don't think you have. I want to put a guy like Trey Lance on the ice for more games. He was a redshirt sophomore, so he's a young guy. There's a reason he didn't play. At first he was behind another player and didn't get many starts, but he did a lot of next level things. I really trust my guy Nate Tice because of his athleticism and the way he went through his progressions and can make some pre-snap adjustments to his offensive line, they asked him to do a lot. at Florida in terms of what a true quarterback can do and then more than anything, I think he moves very well inyeah, now you have Jalen Carter like the Bears want Jalen Carter, you say, hey, we're not going to take them, I mean, we're just going to move in front of you and after that, hey, you can't. do it right, we just did it, I just did it, yeah, I just don't think they could have anticipated things going this way, by the way, we have the terms of trade.
Graver on this, do we have the trade terms? Justin is only moving up one pick, I have to think the Bears are going offensive line here. I also like that the Eagles have something and their thing is to simply draft the offensive lineman of the lineup period. The defensive lineman has like seven or eight of each, they always get picked, they've missed a couple of times, but for the most part they hit and, much bigger and stronger, so much connection of fancy business terms in this one thanks. The Bears traded pick nine to the Eagles for pick ten and a fourth-round pick in 2024.
So the Bears were simply desperate. to get something, yeah, and if the Bears take skoronsky, Mark gets two points and it's all over. I think if this were to happen, who has the Bears drafting Paris Johnson, who has been doing well? I could, oh, well, it doesn't work, this is how it is. a turning point in the mock draft here life is not going well and by life I mean the mock draft that is my life now I mean uh oh there's not far to go yeah it's okay I'm not worried I sent you a little something Graver, yes, we are working on it, thank you.
I want to send this to all the Chiefs fans who are upset that Brett Veach was ranked below Howie Roseman in my GM rankings. I mean, it's moves like this, so I know that just because a team had one more possession in the Super Bowl, no, you don't have to base it on that. I mean, Roseman is in a hot spot right now, yeah, he's come a long way from essentially being locked into that. He shed in the back of the facility when Chip Kelly was there, for which he was ostracized. It's truly one of the most amazing comebacks in recent NFL history.
Good job by Jeffrey Lurie, the owner. Don't kick it completely, you have it so bad. work to hire Chip Kelly but actually Roseman was in this room for quite a while this is where they sent him this one here comes the bear stick whoa Darnell right it's interesting so skoronsky in many drills was the first lineman off the board but now we have Another entry coming from Darnell from Tennessee. Interesting, so Skronski has fallen off a bit here and I still have my sandwich fixtures still in play with Broderick Jones for the Jets, so this is interesting.
Tennessee, comp. Listening is Penne to Sewell, so that wouldn't work well. I think it's about looking at his roster and really believing in Braxton Jones, his fifth-round pick from a year ago. You wouldn't have expected a fifth-round pick to step in. and become a quality left tackle and on tape Braxton Jones, a fifth-round pick a year ago, was as good or better than the two guys who were in the top ten who had some struggles and I. I think this pick makes sense just from what I heard DJ say about him, he said this guy is the most obvious starter right away since a right tackle doesn't really have flexibility, he's going to be a right tackle and me and just the Most draft of which they were talking Nicks like DJ and Bucky and asking why doesn't this guy go higher and they kind of loved him and he was one of those that stood up during the process and Fields, you know they're going to do it.
Do things to try to protect Fields, but also he's always going to be a running quarterback and they're always going to be the Bears, they're going to run the ball, you're going to get a right tackle that you're going to love, that's going to work, that's going to work. He absolutely plays, so you know, very interesting, um and I like the movement. I think this is meat and potatoes oh yeah I mean if he and you then you're thinking and by the way if they got a fifth round pick what do you think he is. a long term answer left a left tackle I trust your eyes on this that's a good point okay we're going to go eight damn well I don't know now it seems like why would I give it a minute I'm going to give it a nine like they will for all the reasons I just said good job Bears I like the Bears I like the Bears what they are what they're doing what they're building I think they're a team worth watching like the Jaguars Last year, being the team that caught my attention, it's a equipment that could rapidly accelerate toward containment.
I like Chicago is one of those things, well, yeah, because I mean, despite last year's record and you know their defense was absolute. disaster, but they were super competitive in terms of scoring points when they changed what they did on offense and focused on the field and I think the key is just keeping them healthy because you know at the end of the year he was banged up and it's like he didn't have no problem with them building along the line, it's funny that it felt like 80 percent of the drills had skaransky for the Bears and then in the end it's someone completely different at the same position.
I think he says they were. to the commercial break during the Titans election, typical Titans disrespect, uh, I have a question for you, Graver, like hey, how do you feel now with the Titans on the board? I want to hear who you want them to pick and then B and this is it. most importantly, anything we can do with the temperature here, anything we think is hot with this temperature, let's open that door, yeah, literally one of us faints and we become a meme for the rest of the time. I think Evans will absolutely play. Now I don't know if you want that just because you made fun or you really want it.
It seems like people couldn't hear me just now while he was saying that, so what he was saying was let's open the door, see if he potentially will do it. Levis being in play I didn't make fun that I'm Mark CJ Stroud okay so if I don't want them to pick they'll leave us because that's more points for Mark. I think Peter Skaronsky is in play for sure, Jackson Smith and Jigba Zay. Flowers that people have been talking about. What do you want? I want CJ Stroud. Whoa, come on, but you can't, yeah, you can't have them, so what do you want, give me, okay, this tells me we have a guest on the way.
You do not know. You have a guest on the right. I do not have a heart. I guess I'll pick someone. Buddy Skaronsky. He is such a good player. It's just that someone in the chat is realizing that you haven't touched Mark. your water so I don't know what I'm talking about I feel like a hostage victim someone else asked for information on how many minutes before Mark spilled his water but that was an hour ago so I think we're over there we set up the over and under we never did What do you think I'll set it up now?
I think we especially have a guest coming. He will be in that area. I think I'll set it up here. Wait, where is he? the assumption maybe maybe leave it maybe leave it uh because six and a half minutes why don't we take this table now we take this out of here yeah, we have to take this out of here we have someone to take it because otherwise this would be some kind of time we would go to break to set this up you want to take yeah, why don't we go to break? We'll take two and a half minutes and when we come back maybe we'll have a guest or maybe We'll still be setting it up, we'll talk, maybe we won't come back here in case Nick is with the Titans.
I think we need to get the team's reaction

live

. Well, I mean, especially, they don't seem too excited. It seems like we see the draft room and Nashville, it's more like they're trying to convince us. Hey, have you seen those mockups of our new stadium, but a year ago that rainbow got scared in the draft room? Sincerely, our guest. It's incoming, yeah, to set this up, let's take a short break, come on, we have plenty of time to talk about everything, yeah, sure, okay, thank you foreigner, thank you foreigner, we just get prettier because we're sitting next to Mark Sessler .
He's the former number one NFL Network senior analyst, the great David Carr, how you doing buddy? Great, you guys can just relax on the couch and this is different from my set. I guess I actually have my phone in my hand, they don't. Don't yell at me, yeah, you can do whatever you want. It's very open. Friends watching. I don't even think you have the correct audio. We can listen? Can you hear Dave Carr on the broadcast? Nobody calls Davis. Can we give them another Mike? I mean, this is part of Jessica's truth charm, what did you do to the microphone?
We have David Carr here, I want to talk, yeah, if you scream as loud as possible, David likes it all the time, then you're good, actually. I've also been using that microphone throughout the whole process, we're getting levels, how do we know we'll know, no, no, it's coming, okay, let's go good right now, by the way, Peter Skaronski is going to the Tennessee Titans, very good job . for uh for Gravedigger a lot of people thought this is the best lineman in the draft some said he had short arms that's what they said I don't like them showing up on the left I mean I know they have to show that They love it, that's all. part of this this is part of this is what you sign up for well I can hear myself now you don't have to deal with it ladies and gentlemen the man who doesn't have to wait for anything in 2002 David Carr um yeah so wait the audio, I thought they changed that with Gino like Gino was the moment where they said we'd stop showing that was wrong, people would be miserable at the end of the draft, that was a bad thing, but David, welcome to the show . thank you, thank you because I mean, I feel like I need to get back to surfing the Internet.
I feel like I need to say again what I came to say is that this is a very relaxed environment. I love it. I took out my phone. I can feel like Ian, you know he's scrolling, but you don't want to eat, well, we've got some really good production value, uh, what's the score right now? did it and went through the Italian victories, okay, the gravediggers run off the board at 12. Jamir Gibbs, that Alabama goes to the lion, wow, I really love it, tell us why you love it, David, well, I wanted it to go to the Saints for personal reasons, but he's amazing so he literally reminds me of Alvin Kamara.
When you see him play, he does it. He likes to compare himself to Jamal Charles, which I understand well. He can do anything. He's great in space. He can catch. All of them in the backfield, but he's dynamic. I mean, they're probably echoing the same things in draft coverage right now, but he's explosive, he's just funny, his tape is a lot of fun to watch, try not to mention that other draft guy, yeah , good. Well, there are no people watching the draft and they are watching us. You said you hoped the Saints wanted them to get all the good players.
Did you have any inside information? The Saints might have been interested in them. Well, they definitely liked it. Yeah. So, I mean, this is a good pick by the Lions, they already had a really good offense, so this is going to be even better. I expected the Lions to go on defense, so I trust the Lions to use them well as well. true, but if you have DeAndre Swift maybe yes, true, I don't know if he has plans, although I don't think so. David Montgomery got a lot of money, so now they have three pretty high profiles.
I wonder if Swift will get boosted, I think they felt like a year ago they could use more of a running back effectively, I just think Gibbs is, he's risen higher than a lot of people think, but this is an electrifying running back, I want I mean, my last ranked scoring defense is still scoring, but it's just we can score more points than them, it doesn't matter, right, and let's not fall asleep on this after all the talk for years about running backs and their value, we have two running backs, those are the 12 best that come off the board. that's pretty impressive, I think that's why I was even hoping he would fall to the Saints because everyone told me that running backs aren't valued anymore, but here you have two guys that are jumping into the top 15.
Where is the? Where does your brother see this? Where is the. He's in New Orleans right now, so he's alone in his house because his family just flew back to Las Vegas to get his kids back to school because that's what you know. appropriate. You're not on vacation your whole life, so his kids are back at school, he's watching him and he's us, we're texting back and forth, but you know he's probably mad right now, I'm I'm sure he liked it. He also likes Jamir, but I think that probably surprised a lot of people, although honestly I like that the Lions have taken it for a while, what do you think about how the quarterback side of the belt has developed so far?
I love where Anthony went, I mean, me. I know he's tough, but when I saw the film of him I could obviously see what all people see is the electrifying talent in him. The guy is incredibly talented. He has 13 starts. I think an OC ofDid you get into a relationship with Greg with a woman who was significantly older than you? You know she was kind of like um uh. I'm talking about height and volume, as a big girl like you and you, I mean almost walking down the street. any human is bigger than me, we get a shot of Greg from his early days when he was very active, by the way, that's a part of Greg's story, we hear about how well he did romantically in high school and here's a shot of Greg that was posted on Instagram holding a generic Cola and there's that part right down the middle split into the uprights like Justin Tucker.
It's funny because I don't think I've had this haircut for that long, but I swear I have so many pictures of this six to nine month period bring something real in a spicy attitude to your high school this was freshman year I think keep it up photo here for a second because this is something I wanted to mention to Mark, we have a theory that Greg was born at 32 years old. yes, standing up, yes, and this is going to seem like a compliment, Greg, because he looks like you just with the longer hair and the generic tail.
This doesn't change anything about our theory that you were born, what are you talking about? If that is. you with a different haircut, yeah, I'll give you a compliment, Greg, from another angle that you don't know, you know you're 40 years old, you don't look like you've aged that much, um, that's why in that photo there too. This photo, true, is a compliment. He was the same height. I was about this tall at the time, about 13 years old, but let's go back to the tall woman you dated. What would she hurt? How tall was she? What was happening there?
I'm like five six wait is this Delaware is this Delaware this is Peak Delaware and the fact that you posted this on your own social media means that maybe in some Delaware there was a lot of posting of the tape comments uh responding to this is not just uh I'm like you know I just moved and then I'm like they know how to appear out of nowhere you know their heart is still in Hawaii remember yeah it's the new gray kind of like yeah of course it does will. release the tapes why not, why not relax exactly, brother, so everything is loose, guys, you want to rate the cancer selection, not particularly, uh, I'm going to give it, I'm going to give it a nine, oh, I can't see, oh yeah, that. was good, solid, area of need, could have gone Will Levis there but clearly these teams don't like them, no they are not in love with Will, they will force him, we don't rate Broderick Jones either. just to keep everything clean on my sheet here same grade okay eight a project uh now I feel pressured to give a real just because they just because they score yeah just because uh they bone the Jets I'll give it a nine they got Two extra points, the Seahawks take Hendon Hooker here, eh, let's see what we are, what do you have in your market, okay, Seahawks take Levis, that's going to bother me again.
I want Gino Smith to not have to deal with that kind of distraction. Of all this, it would have been fine because it was Richardson and he was worth it. I've got them taking the blank, let's see what happens, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, you said you'd give up your Seahawks fandom if they still took Will Levis. at stake, well, yes, I meant more in the last election. I don't want to stay with it because I'm a little afraid of it actually happening. Oh, wait a second, don't you think that's like a luxury now? choose I think it's a second chance that it's stuck for so long, it's a value.
I think it makes a lot of sense for them not to. I think Gino is going to be a blast because he really looked like the light went on and he was in it. a very good place, but he's not even that old, you don't know, if they really believe in him, he could be their quarterback for five more years. Sam Young asks if the NFL's digital

live

streaming project anymore has an air conditioner. it's a fair question, they said we only have , We have, we have the NFL, plus, we have the fast NFL and we have the NFL Network, of course, but we have to have one of the top ten.
Insider here was that that doesn't help us which they don't seem to agree with. that analysis, I think they've raised their uh, I think they're trying to trick us here 1312 the way you guys got stuck on this number these numbers here for a minute, it's been good for Jessicashe's had to do very little in the last 45 minutes or so he is one of the top 10 soccer experts. I could use a drink. I must say that I will have to forget that the fanatic brings us alcohol. I need well, this is very kind and Jessica, you are a wonderful woman, we could catch a cold, but I am looking for something clear, but something that descends from what vodka is, descends from Russia, it is rice, the Germans, yes, well, potatoes , potatoes, potatoes, yes, potatoes, potatoes, that's right, gluten free. people can't drink, yeah, okay, let's have some vodka here we think the election is for Seattle, yeah, we should choose 20, eh, we should prepare some questions, the guy comes who brings the fan that you bring. the second item you can also get it like a CVS sure no problem it's easy to find get the control just to be sure uh Mackie was watching or at least Phil was still watching Phil Wesseling and all the wrestling we love.
Love you all Miss Chris, this really wasn't one of Chris's favorite days of the year. He really wasn't an NFL draft pick. I mean, he liked the draft, but it was like he got tired of all the fuss. around the draft, he, uh, was against the hype. I think it's really fun and refreshing to do it on a Saturday during football. Absolutely the third day of the draft. It's like it baffles me. This is cute. I might go to the LA Kings game on Saturday night. As? about that a little ice hockey a little ice hockey a little ice hockey I'm going to New York it would be good there although I won't go if it's a game in the afternoon they haven't announced the time at which I'll try to go to a Knicks game next week, but I heard on the secondary market that it will cost you a big ticket to get into that building 20 years since it's the Texas heat, wait, you'll be in New York next week. framed by the Knicks possibly advancing to the second round and are you trying to get better? the Seas doing the Celtics oh they're down a point with seven to go oh Greg Jackson Smith and jigma the Seahawks Jackson okay I like jigba thanks it's great to concentrate wait a second check out this desk instead of playing with you, you know you're helping them get this one a hot ten, yeah, I love this 10.
Come on, let's do it, well, because you were what you did with the Jets or with the lineman. I'm going to do it. m I'm going to stop it from being a perfect score, that's a shame, have we ever had a perfect score? No, yes, Will Anderson Junior was a perfect town, yes, but the Texans don't get a perfect 10 because he averages 9.33 with CJ Stroud. I'm going to bury. someone at the end of this draft, why would it be by teams? Once I saw how much the Texans gave up, I was a little less excited. I promise you I'm going to bury a team at the end of this trip, but he's going to give someone an absolutely fine one as the 20th pick, but he had the bills changing for him, yeah, that's not like that, you don't understand, no , this is great, it's a great movement.
I love it, Greg, just like we were talking about it. Like if you like Geno, you don't think it's the flash of the pen. I think he's 32 or 33. So stick with Pat, then, if you didn't, if you didn't get Anthony Richardson or you didn't go all the way. at the top of the draft, why not just develop the offense? And I love it, I mean, they have DK Metcalf, now they have Smith and jigba Tyler Lockett, they have Tyler Lockett and they pay all these guys. I mean, how long can you keep this up? this group is together, but for at least a probably good year, look at DK Metcalf.
I think they're going to pay him, he has, he has, he hasn't been paid yet, the ball would be moving, potentially, uh, Tyler Lockett is on a nice little contract that they paid DK Metcalf, it's true, that has almost no nothing to do with Jackson Smith and Jigba is a nice cost control medallion, he probably won't be there forever because he gets hurt a lot and gets up there and you a smaller guy, but if you think about it right now, they complement each other, so lock him down tight and Metcalf on the outside locket as that deep threat, Smith and jigba in the middle, he opens up as a man and it's not good for his fantasy stock if you liked that because I think they're still going to run the ball a lot and many mouths to feed.
Some teams might have given it. I can't justify any reason other than Smite and Greg. Remember everyone gets 111 and Gregory uses. I do not believe in that. A lot of integrity. I do not believe in that. I have respect for numbers. Wow, great route runner. Okay, I'm officially picking the Seahawks to win the NFC West. I don't need to waste time now, it's time. Why change your tackles with the Niners? They sure have to beat the Niners. That's what I mean. I'm going to choose what I want to support and that's what I want to support.
They did well, they got the Niners some uncertainty, there's no doubt about it at the most important position in the game. I wonder if they would have chosen Anthony Richardson, but you got him. to say there's something very genuine about their faith in Geno Smith, I mean, they're building around them, they paid them and they overlooked anything else, a quarterback, uh, let's see, let me look at this draft here. Smith and Jigbah simply have a skill set. In terms of how he opens up, it seems like it's obviously going to translate, it was like watching tape of Laves last year, when you see them run those 11-yard stop routes, you think that's going to work.
Smith and Jig. about becoming as open with the way he runs his routes as and perhaps the best core of three best receivers in the league, now it should be noted that Smith and Jigba have been viewed by many people as the best wide receivers in the league. this class, this wasn't seen as a particularly Grand Receiver group, so it may not start to work in a deep way, but I also don't know who we have on the show where we talk about that very thing and the idea was that it might Think about if he's in the right setup, he's a guy that could make a difference right away and he's in a great setup, as long as Gino stays healthy and continues to be the guy he was, this team is going to score a lot of points.
I'm with Greg. I think you'd have to look at this as the best wide receiver trio out there if it clicks and I mean they talk about his route being just uncoachable and it's like that's the kind of thing he's going to produce right away. He was someone who wasn't going to break up big plays, but you have Metcalf and Locket to do that in terms of long speed, but his vision is such a good runner with the ball that to me he can see how he's going to make people. We still need to get to the second level, a lot of 20-yard type games, uh, oh, Gino is us.
I wonder and wonder if there's an alternate reality where Richardson lasted one more pick and it was Richardson Smith and jigba one two, but I think. it's about no, they ended up going, as we know now, with us, cornerback Devin Witherspoon, so they balance, they had a great potential playmaker on each side of the ball, you have to be happy if you're a Seattle, we have to think. the Chargers are going wide receivers here we have some yeah some people say in their drill uh Graver and right now we're getting a nut cutting time here from 13 to 12 uh some people say in the chat you should get some kind of credit for having Smith and Jigba in the right place, but I think the point is that yes and I didn't understand the team player.
I don't know why we keep suggesting that he modify the rules now in the middle of the competition, well if the car was willing to change the rules, that's not so much altering the rules, but that there was a bit of a disconnect from the beginning before Greg had some rules that didn't seem to work. contact the producer and he got them but then he got his own and assumed it was fine too but Dan came up in the chat client and I think I backtracked and said they look great, they make a lot of sense and it was also not good because Dan texted me and told me to send Justin Timberlada, not a negative thing towards you Greg, but you were lost in the tide when I told you that so I spiced things up and then sent it to the chat group. so you could see mine.
It was supposed to be us working together. I just assumed you didn't submit it, yes, but you worked on it before the draft started. Otherwise we will suddenly be in the middle of the current going to a different one. set of rules, I mean, I'll leave the room, I'll just walk away, okay, oh, the picture of Johnston to the Chargers, wow, I didn't even have him in the first round, baby, okay, big monster, uh, Sydney rice comparison I haven't heard that. comparisonquarterback, so that's a I, I'm really sorry, uh, Greg, I know you have your problems with them.
I feel bad for Will Lavis, this is really, I have no problems, it's a bad night, someone gives away my feelings and prostitutes himself to the Chiefs and then. uh I was scoring for that and they should be giers buyers buyers that's a classic of the genre this is like one of the first falls on this show I think so, it's got to be the biggest crowd for a first round final pick in a long time right, I mean, I guess Tennessee was crazy Nashville, but this seems like it's the biggest, I mean, if we're digging in the box, we have, do you want to make flowers, do you happen to have that?
This is our version of the truck that makes the NFL network it's on day three the truck that was funny we don't have that one that was random there anyway Chiefs someone asked for Ben laugh let's see if I have that oh I love Big Ben laugh chat was typing The previous releases in the stream very early as if they were inserting their own releases typing. I have them all somewhere, but they are on a hard drive there. I think he is one of the best. um oh, yes you have Wes's block. Up, that's it again, some of these comments are incredible, yes I've been enjoying the comments all night so thank you for keeping us, absolutely people who have been at this the whole time, it's incredible, the grim numbers of the league, I hope they are paying.
Pay attention to this, but you know what I don't really care about, we can do our own thing here, we have a big audience watching us commenting, we don't have air conditioning, but otherwise, everything else has been great tonight, uh, while we concluded our first live stream of all Buzz was that they were going to exchange them for flowers from Zay, that didn't happen, by the way, we will be back for the third day in its entirety, how about a lot, oh Chris, oh man, that was a special day? What did he lock up? Do we remember?
I don't even remember what team it was, but all I remember is I said something right before it was like a 92 team with a seven-game winning streak or something and then, uh. he closed it, yes, people tell me to cover the recoil capsule. I won't do it. I refuse to do it because it would make Bob happy. Do you have to drag this over here? Do you have Tom Savage? Do you have Tom Savage on the board? I hear that's another classic, someone is pointing out that I'm sitting on both couches, yeah, well Dan's man is spreading out and now we have five, so you have to adapt.
I don't have it, we don't have it. We have to have the file um very short for next year or uh, excuse me on Saturday, what is this? This is called Baby Boy news, it could be anything because we're having a baby, maybe the best new strap ever, yeah, when I link uh. the link was coming towards us, here we go, oh that's great, that's right. Mark pointed out um, it's a very traditional haircut, he has a very similar haircut to the 1988 Midwest man, it's a very disciplined part, this is something new if you win the Super.
Bowl, you can call your own pick, I mean, he can do whatever he wants, he doesn't typically align with us, Mistress, but Mark is still the router, so, absolutely, okay, he's from Kansas State, uh, Hometown boy, you know his Edge. loyal to the loyal to the land, you know what keeps the fans going, you know, that's why they're here. I have to say it's a good analysis because I was a little surprised that Annaduke Uzama was getting so much pop from the crowd there. Yeah, but that kind of explains it, they're like these guys need to acknowledge that they were together for over four hours, they need to acknowledge someone right now, it's uh, by uh Patrick, uh Bertelsen, if they were going to deploy a hologram.
I would think it was going to be one night, it feels like one night, one thing, oh no, no, I think it'll be more like when they're looking for something to do, that's exciting on the third day. I agree with Mark, I think AI is round seven. there is a possibility, yes, I think it's real, in fact, I mean, you know new ideas can come up all the time, but maybe even our suggestion could create them, turn them into a reason to bring them to light, yes, I think It's what turns someone on. imagination and they get it, they get to work on it, they need, they need pass pressure.
I like the image of, by the way, the first round is over, Felix, we can close now yeah, people are saying some pop here, Greg, you said Clark hunts very fast. he and he made some people's heads turn, yeah that's what he does. I give him a 10. oh yeah, I like him, uh, he's loyal to the ground, honey, hey, I think we have to give him a 10. It's the last choice he offers us. Get out of here, good job. I'll give it an 81 or an 18. Okay, I think that's kind of fair, um, okay, everyone, thank you so much for watching and commenting, we love you, thanks again to Eric Justin Josh.
Albert Kendall, of course, yes, my God, yes, yes, can we owe them a hamburger or something? um and yeah, uh, especially again, you guys look amazing on me. We'll have the audio podcast later tonight and then we'll be back on Saturday with a recap of everything, say goodbye now hear the call everyone, peace
