We took some clips from my stream where I finally ended up dying and we collapsed. what happened what did I do right what did I do wrong what got me killed and what could we do better next time I really think that using the resources we have to break down our own game is the best way to advance and get better at escape from tarkov can be very It's easy to get frustrated with the game, but channeling that energy into trying to figure out how to improve will be very beneficial.

I'm playing with a friend, so we're a duo. We are in the hallway next to the parking lot and just press the button.

We've called some Raiders, we've lit some up, so I'm worried about my magazines right now and we're very careful and aware that we got rained on by the dinner bell opening the garage door and then making a lot of noise. those Raiders, so that's the context, so we'll go ahead and watch the clip and then we'll come back and break it down, here's someone walking, I can't tell where he is. Packing up, all right, we were looking for Raiders, they just showed up out of nowhere, yeah, I thought, I thought we had some good shots on that guy, he probably had pretty good armor, I thought we did good, family, I thought we did good, so . there we are let's go back to the beginning and start breaking it down so right at the beginning of this clip I say I hear someone in the wood and we hear it as the clip goes on you know.

I mean, I'm not sure where it's coming from, but I can hear it over here. That's why it's so important to position your audio and learn from mistakes like this because I heard that wood and I thought it might be here in the yard. I thought it could potentially be rotating or it could be here. The other thing is something that happens a lot is that we can assume that it is or is not a player who has killed me so many times when I think it is a player and I act accordingly and it is not when I think it is a scab and I act accordingly and not It is assuming that you know what the enemy is, it is almost never a good thing, this is a kind of old trap in laboratories because you know it many times. we're here we want to kill some Raiders we want some good loot we pressed the button where we wanted to spawn those Raiders we had just killed some and I lowered my defenses yeah it was like I heard some wood and internally I remember thinking you know it could be a Raider, so we just let our guard down.

I would make the decision that I need to repack, that's not a bad decision, whether it's a gamer or a Raider, it's a good decision with something like an mp7 that really

all your ammo very quickly, you know, not a only magazine I have has a full 40 out of 40 except the one on my gun so it was a good decision to sit down and pack magazines and my teammate said yes. Let's cover where we went wrong was just the fact that he wasn't really thinking if I can hear him, he can hear me and, again, I didn't necessarily assume he was a player at the beginning of this clip.

I heard that what we heard was someone walking on wood, not running, which means if they are within walking distance I can hear them, if it is an enemy that has contacts they are a walk away, I am also within walking distance for them , so I say this way I'm going to pack my magazines, my teammate will walk in front here, lie on his stomach and keep that angle, which can usually be a really good thing, it can be a good corner without exposing too much of your body and remain face down. taking advantage of that knockback buff and just holding on to it, but in this case the player heard that we went prone and was able to take out my teammate immediately we heard the grenade go in and this is always a fight or flight mechanic when you hear a grenades, grenades and escape from tarkov can be a little crazy and can be very difficult to determine where exactly you landed.

I had been practicing using grenades to my advantage and actually pushing the enemy instead of because, you know, a lot of times and enemies. use grenades to flush people out or just to listen for movement. I'm not sure if there is a second person you know at this point. I'm thinking he doesn't know there are two of us. He threw the nothing just to see if there is one. Second person, your guard might be down if I go around this corner too quickly. Now, in retrospect, when we pause it, we can see that this grenade landed right here, so even if I go around the corner, if I don't go deep enough, there's a chance.

This grenade still kills me. Probably, in retrospect, the best thing would have been to turn back because there's a corner here on the right that I could have ducked behind, waited for that grenade to go off, and then potentially listened to see if I was pushing. but we made the call we took and we didn't know where the grenade was and we went to push now you can see I let that end of the clip in because immediately because this happens all the time I immediately said I thought we had very, very good shots of that guy that He had very high level armor.

We talked about this in the last video and in the introduction video to this series. Watching the clips can be very valuable because when I started watching this. Especially when I slowed him down a little bit, I saw that our initial shot hit here, maybe we took one or two good shots now that we're on top of him because he ducked down and shot me, so they're aiming at me and I'm correcting him. Back and forth and I'm dead so let's watch just a little bit again so right after that it felt good and I know it's almost embarrassing to watch this again because you're like, oh, you know how you thought he hit those shots that you had that was horrible that was terrible aim believe me it happens a lot more often than you think where you die and you're like no way I shot that many at that guy look back maybe you're slow Go down a little bit and you'll see that his shots didn't land on this one case once again.

If I'm doing the pushing and turning hard, I should have been listening to see if he was running because this awkward little exchange happens when he's full. sprint I'm at full speed and we just spin around and we both try to make shots down a decision I made I have the mp7 I'm crazy ergo I take the center and make the first shots but basically I just right click and then start and just hold the left click , there wasn't much calculation to make sure I was on target, so as soon as I started spraying with a little recoil, the mp7 started working against me, I got up and I turned this corner really wide not knowing where the grenade, that's the reason, but if I had turned this corner a lot closer and maybe used some of this as cover, I wouldn't have exposed as much of my body, but we did turn around really. wide and we can see that our enemy makes the decision, reacts to me and is able to think smart enough to crouch and get the recoil benefit there, that also means that I start shooting above him and I have to pull towards Downstairs, even the backpack is working against me. here because when he ducks and I start taking an aimed hit, that guy looks like his head, but he can duck and immediately give me a more precise touch, so there were some things we could have done better, we could have been more aware. from the enemy and right at the beginning, when we heard the wood, we could have moved the grenade away, instead we could have thought about the fact that if we can, he can, if we can hear him, he can hear us and I could have done a I also made some decisions if I didn't want to push him, push him harder.

Get down, he gets a little more confidence and just practices my accuracy. The funny thing about this is that what it ended up being was Tarkov's escape streamer Warren, who needs no introduction. he's an amazing player and he's, I mean, one of the best and because he was, someone in my chat posted the clip from his perspective, so we'll look at that fight from Warren's perspective real quick, so let's go ahead and do this. They're about to shoot him again, he's dead, okay, they're going to throw another grenade, check the arm and push into the corner, kill the other commoner, he's trying to push me, he's trying to make my move, so it feels good Yes I'm going to die, it'll be nice to die, damn Warren, but we can start to see from the beginning, you know, right when we start this clip, he says: I'm going to pre-fire this person, which lets me know that he knew exactly where my teammate was the fact that he immediately turned the corner and shot low, meaning what we talked about was correct, he absolutely heard my friend fall face down and was able to take a look at the corner immediately, very quickly, he knew that We were there because I was listening. to his audio cues we were still in the phase of maybe we were like I heard he was going to let me repackage some magazines he kept the angle so he used that knowledge against us you must love how he narrates the play he says he's going to throw away the nothing which You can hear that I'm actually going to turn the volume up again.

You can hear the tone in his voice. My push surprised him. The play he wanted to make worked. I got to that corner and he didn't expect me to even say that he's trying. I play my game, but we see from his perspective once again. I get those first few shots, but he reacts perfectly, he crouches, he has a very tight extension, he is a really accurate player and he is able to take me down in gray and check the armor that he places in the corner. He was a little surprised and he looks how quickly he reacts with 80s Inc and gets right in the neck in the head and is able to take me out of that fight.

You can even see the aim stroke of my gum and my gun going up. the air almost immediately, so he just played that absolutely perfectly, so it was great to be able to see this fight from multiple perspectives as always. It's a time investment, but if that's something you like, you can get really good at it. game and get that map knowledge and know where the hardcover is and your brain can start working faster. I have seen it in myself.

I make much faster and better decisions than I did a few months ago playing the game, but we learned from our bad decisions and we learned by solving situations like this and getting better, so big gg - Warren, it's always fun to get killed by someone who is so good.
