Learning How To Ride A Motorcycle (first time on the road)

motorcycle

motorcycle

s, but I ended up buying a motorcycle and riding it for the

first

time

. I would consider this video my first official

ride

because in that video I was getting familiar with what it's like to be on the motorcycle and just the basic controls in this video. I'll use the accelerator first, change gears and ride longer stretches of

road

I want to say hello to all the new subscribers, thank you for joining me on this journey. I was very surprised to see how many people were interested in my first video. I really appreciate all the support and advice you gave me. I have received several comments about my equipment or lack thereof and yes, I know that equipment is very important. So before I get into the video I write in, I just wanted to cover all the gear I currently have. I know some of you are also beginners and are also watching this journey and I want to set a good example.

So obviously the first thing I had to buy was a full-face helmet. The brand is super European and it is matte black. An extra small size seemed perfect for my little head. I like it a lot. It's super comfortable. It is DOT certified. I know the next thing I bought were super important motorcycle gloves. I like them very much. They have a lot of padding and that's something I was looking for. They have padding on the knuckles here. They also have something on their fingers. Interior padding for palm. I'll have everything linked below for you guys to review in case any of you are curious.

One thing I didn't realize with these gloves is that they are a little short and stop right at the wrist hoping to find some that are a little longer and go up the arm a little bit, I don't know if they exist , I'm sure you do, but that's something I think I'll look for in the future, okay? Next up is probably my favorite of the whole kit, a leather motorcycle jacket, it has shoulder pads which I love, it's super comfortable. Surprisingly, I was debating whether I should get this or a mesh type jacket. I'll probably end up buying both eventually. way, but for now I only have this one.

I don't know how well this leather will hold up if it's raining, not that I plan on going out in the rain any

time

soon, but it does rain a lot here and I feel like there are going to be times when I'm stuck in the rain and would prefer a jacket that is waterproof. There are a few that I saw online that I will also have linked Below in case you are interested in them and then of course proper shoes, another thing. I got it, it was really cool: this helmet and jacket holder mounts on the wall and is very convenient, you can put all your motorcycle stuff in that area.

, let's get into the video. I'm going to change gears for the first time, which is nerve-wracking for me because that requires the accelerator, which terrifies me, yeah, I'll see how it goes. Okay, so today you're going to feel comfortable on the bike for a longer period of time than the 10 or 20 seconds you were before when you were riding up and At the end of the street, we have this beautiful almost traffic-free road that goes up there and then ends essentially in a dead end, so you can turn around and go back.

Okay, okay, make sure with chocolate. Garrett's there, he's fine, so what are you going to do? You can start first, yeah, as long as your hand is on the good, okay, perfect, you got this, be confident, great, turn to the outside or it's with the accelerator, yeah, um. We are giving it a lot, you will understand, you are doing very well while I am changing. How can you clutch and shift at the same time and roll at the same time? Yes, everything is like that, this movement is perfect and that's it, that's exactly it. That's going to be a lot smoother, I guarantee it, you're giving it the beans while the clutch was on, it's moving forward, it's okay, yeah, it's good, that's it, the shift is unlocked and you didn't hear a peep. over revs, just a buttery smooth shift, so good stops happen.

Did it feel like that? Your eyes are so big. No, I saw, I saw the car and you tried. I like your hand on your hip, by the way, he won't keep it there. It's great, no, I saw. You tried to turn without looking and then you realized. The car was coming and you wobbled a little bit, it's okay, it's totally okay, we're going like zero miles an hour, they were going really slow, but good lesson, always expect a car like there's a cage somewhere around you. and they don't know it but they are trying to kill you so expect that at all times and you know it was good that that happened in the sense that you know what it feels like yeah it's great at low speed but if you go at high speed speed or the cars are going at high speed, that's when you know you can't know what you're supposed to do and then throw the bike and this kind of stuff, so it's totally fine, you handled it very well.

That was it, that was it, stop it, yeah, and shaking it sounded great, it was smooth as butter, yeah, I stopped it, okay the first year when I'm trying to do a little bit. I don't know if I should give him anything.
