You know, at that old age, anything could get you. No, I mean, in fact, I think in Norway it was announced that 23 people died after taking the vaccine and everyone tells that story, but if you actually read the story, you'll see. that all those people that died were like 100 years old, it was all in this, you know, yeah, nursing home, oh okay, and these people were like 100 92 whatever, so if there's any level of allergic reaction , it will kill them, so yes. I watched this documentary once, it was like National Geographic, something like that and they wanted to find where the largest concentration of people were that were over 100 years old or, you know, super old people and they found out it was that small.

The part of the island that you know off the coast of Japan is like one of these little Japanese islands and there was a super concentration of people 100 like 100 100 208 and they went there to examine them, you know, talk to them everything you know and them and them. They're not just sitting, they're doing, they're working, they're holding, you know, and it's about how it was about the diet, everything that they do when they eat, they eat fresh fish straight from the sea, unpolluted waters, stress-free, we're . all poor, you know, I mean, there's no, there's no stress, there's no, there's no striving to be top dog or something and, you know, and then they talk to them, man, they're sneaky, you know, they're like 105 and she's like yeah, I need a young man, she's cutting fish and all kinds of stuff, I'm like, oh, look at grandma, she's sucking on the fish and talking, I need a young man, I'm like, oh dead, you know, that was and you just know, it shows you what happens with diet and stress in your life and you know they're living, obviously they're very, very old, but they still have quality of life and that's the key.

The key is like you know I would love to be here forever, but you know I don't want to be a hurdle on a log and I don't want to be a burden. You know you still know you want to have your marbles at least so you can know that I want to have energy to myself, get off my lawn well and then something that probably hits a lot closer to home for you is the ecstasy of Houdini, who actually had the same age as you 56, you knew he was absolutely ecstatic. To be honest, Ecstasy was one of my idols growing up, you know,

play

ing, I watched Houdini and I was like me, man, we want to be like them, like two guys, girls love them, you know what I'm saying, that would be that. it would be like yeah, that's what you're doing and for me personally, the ecstasy, you know, I had had that great voice and that's what I always tried to, you know, have all the dynamite down tight, what's up?
You don't know what I mean. I come from that era where you know Melly Mel or you know just that strong powerful voice and the ecstasy had you know what I'm saying, did we ever find out? Was it covertly related? I don't think so, I'm not, I mean it's a tragedy, whatever we are, obviously, you know, gone too soon, but, in fact, I think we did a show with them like maybe a couple ago of years, he and ja lil. I think we had a show in Palm Springs uh, we were, we were opening for them, you know, like it should be and um, yeah, that's a loss, but this is where we are now, you know we're losing, you know, I used to I talk about it in my stand-up act, but it's true, it's like back in the day when we lost rappers because we got shot, now we lose them, you know, old stuff like rappers are dying. of gout, you know what I'm saying, yeah, I mean, I can't find a cause of death, yeah, I hadn't heard one myself, so yeah, the cause of death hasn't been determined.
What artist, who are you and that's someone else. What I was telling someone else the other day when I was doing the

interview

and I talked about the era of hip-hop that we came up in, one of the things that I really enjoyed was that all the groups had a really different sound, like the housing will ring. like houdini, yeah and krs sonic care rest and

salt

and pepper sound like

salt

and pepper and bismarck, you know, they're very different, now they all went together, you know, and that's the only thing I point out in terms of comparing it to hip- jump today you know that a lot sounds similar a lot sounds like a single type of wave but before there is a lot more there is like 100 times more yes there is no doubt but but but I I'm still listening, I'm still listening many of you know the homogenization, so to speak , I just remember, you know, it's a sonic sound like this and jokingly, the sound sounds like this and big daddy Kane sounded like this and and and you know like I feel like. more um definition uh between uh between the groups you know like you know going back to salt and pepper like some peppers sound so different you know what I'm saying and like I said, I go, that goes back to uh, you know, herbie teaching us how to rhyme from in a way you know before everyone was saying now herbie is teaching us like well, what that object is like, you know and there's my other sound, I'm just showing it, you know, like you understand, you know, he's telling us how do it.
The emotions inside no one was really doing that, very few people were doing that, yeah, and you know it was almost like a conversational type of rap, especially if there were people coming and going like salt and pepper, like hitting and tapping, um, but once again it was simply felt. it just felt different like all the different groups felt different when we were doing it look we're on a show with hammer hammer sounds like hammer you know what I'm saying nwa sounds like mwa short sounds like short you know it's just me I just felt like was a little more defined and get off my lawn yeah listen guys I think it was oh my gosh one of the deepest hip-hop songs ever made and a lot of that still resonates though this is which 40 years later or so, uh, yeah, you know, friends, a love, the one I was watching, I was watching a love video the other day, you know what I'm saying and what a big hit it was, but yeah, friends , friends, successes to this day, I mean, yeah.
How many of us have them? Yeah, I'm sorry, if you're lost, I never got to meet him, but I'm a great guy, a great guy, and that's the thing, man, it's one of those things like, you know, what, what, what, houdini you know? what I'm saying like what you do what you do like what you know what God forbid you know what I'm saying like you know what I'm saying I and

play

they called each other up like you, okay, you know what I'm saying , like you know, you just realize we're at that point now and, you know, if we ever get out of this pandemic, you know we want to be able to know and see and act for each other and act for other people, yeah, but nothing, nothing, nothing is guaranteed, it's not, it's not ma'am, so take care of yourself, exercise, eat right, keep your weight down, you heard what dr said. fauci no what is that two men two masks were two masks you know I lost 20 pounds I was about to say yes because the last time I said it too yes you, I have lost good weight, I think you are well built, yes, no, I reduced my calories, I started counting calories, really, uh, yeah, so I started exercising more, I started exercising a little more, but it's mostly diet, that's how you lose weight, yeah, when you like to walk, you likes to walk a treadmill and a bike at home yeah, you know, yeah, so yeah, do pull-ups like you know, yeah, I'm trying to listen, man, I'm 47 years old.
What did you delete? What did you eliminate from the diet? I really didn't. I eliminated anything, I kept tracking my calories, I started using an app called myfitnesspal and I basically wrote down every meal you know I'm saying and it tells you how many calories it is, yeah, yeah, and then you know, you have 2000, you know for me it's 2000. calories per day, that's my limit, so the minute I get close to 2000 I just stopped eating, you know what I'm saying, and then I like it halfway through the bite. but that's it man, it's really like if you eat less than a certain amount of calories you will be guaranteed to lose weight, if you eat more than those calories you will continue to gain weight now, you can make up for it with exercise for example like when I do exercise, I also write it down in the same app, so okay, great, I burned 200 calories and they tell you what they put it in, so you'll add it to what you know, if you have 2000 calories and you burn 200. calories on the treadmill now you have 2200 calories you could deal with that day so as long as you stay under those 2200 you will be fine, if you do 3000 you will get fat and you know you will.
I mean, I've been doing it for like six months. I've lost 20 pounds, man. It's only since I last saw you. I was going. I was going to say it. But I thought I said. Didn't I say that last year? no, I've lost more weight since last time, yes, listen, the moment I learned that mortality from covid was linked to your weight, that obese people will be much more likely to die from covid, I said no I had more excuses to be like that. Now I wasn't really fat or anything, but I was a little overweight and I was like, "Okay, I'm trying to stay alive," so let me go ahead and lose weight.
Let me tell you that two people I interviewed died of covid. It was an older man named Frank Colada. He was a Las Vegas gangster. He was already having breathing problems when we were doing the interview. We did the last interview with him before he passed away. I think he was 80 years old or something like that. Old respiratory problems. That part is possible. Pretty much yeah, you know, you would think that's probably what's going to happen to a man in that condition, but the other person who died was Fred the Godsend, who was about 34 years old but he was very obese, very obese, he had a huge belly, as you already know, and I think.
He had diabetes and some other problems related to that weight, so I said, "Okay, if this man younger than me who is overweight has died from getting it, I'll make sure I'm alive to do it." I don't want any part of that I don't want any part of that boy man I appreciate that you're back for the third time I'm glad you're okay I'm glad you're healthy Ken Blaze with the big golden rope uh stop it until next time peace
