Now that Toyota is that iconic Japanese brand, they want to step up and bring some additional performance and style to the Camry in this Camry TRD.

There are now many options you can choose from if you're looking for a midsize

Go for the Honda Accord Sport with the two liter turbo that is the detuned Type R engine, you could even pay a little more and go for the Accord Touring which will give you not only the D2 and Type R engine but it will also give you adaptive dampers. You could always go with a Mazda 6 turbo and get the carbon edition like the one we featured here on Radius Rides or the new Hyundai Sonata n-line or the Kia K5 GT.

I'm even going to throw in there just for fun the Subaru Wrx even though that's not a midsize

and it's in line with all those other vehicles so what I want to know is that Toyota has done enough to make this a true luxury sedan. sports performance and if this is the one to surpass all those competitors. on this

The grille area on top is this metallic black, the gloss black matches very well and then in a big massive opening in the lower grille you can see the front lip splitter that extends with that nice gloss and then Of course, with the form. The hood really falls nicely into the front fascia. This is unique. This is something that I don't necessarily get from the competition now, as we go down the side, you'll notice a color scheme on the mirror caps, a little bit of chrome. I don't know why they didn't black it out so I'm going to remove it but I like the way they have those LED turn signals, there's no sunroof so if you're expecting a sunroof you won't get it with the Camry Trd, but what you will get is a very, very aggressive side sill extension. normally it would just be gloss black but the reason it looks like the color matches is because we have a black camry trd, the red trim coming towards the back i love the nice line color combo on that sharpie antenna, they even lift the side on which the side molding is located. the actual fender here channels all that air, so not only do you get the front, but you also get the side sills and also the rear area to channel the air.

I'm going to zonk the fake vents in the back. The styling here really is something that separates it from the rest. It has a gunmetal gray finish. There is a little bit of this shiny black but it has so many metal flakes that it actually hides your fingerprints. Soft touch material. I love the red stitching. and it's super smooth now for 2021 there is a new infotainment system area this is new for 2021 even on the camry trd the bad news is when you go to trd you get the smaller system this is a seven-inch screen you can't get it on the tara d camera, but if you opt for other trim levels, you could get a new 9-inch system.

I like this system much better than the one they had before. It is small. I know you've probably heard that once or twice. twice before, but this screen is definitely smaller, it doesn't have navigation, but it does have Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Let me go ahead and show you the rearview camera. It comes off at seven inches, so the good news is if you have seven inches. I've never liked it, even when they release this generation, but what I like is that you have USB, you have 12 volts and I like the way there are doors, there is no wireless charging, so you could use this.

You could put five twinkies in there. Manual adjustment for the passenger. You have these paddles on the back of the steering wheel to shift the eight-speed automatic transmission up and down, and then you get a lot of gauges. of analog, so analog attack, analog speedometer, fuel gauge and coolant gauge, and that's a 4.2-inch digital screen in the center. I like the analog gauges, especially the way they're that bright red color, but compared to the competition, you might just like what they are. especially with larger digital screens, but why don't we go in the back seat and see how this compares to the competitors?
