INSANE 1 Chunk PISTON HOUSES in Minecraft!

Jun 10, 2021
As you may remember, the other day I posted a video about my one-piece

piston

house. A house full of redstone gadgets that fits completely inside a 16 by 16

chunk

in Minecraft. And I have to say I was very happy with this. It had all kinds of cool gadgets, mobile storage systems, switchable fireplaces and my personal favorite, the functional garage door with exit system to the pond. You can see that we left this place being thrown by a block of slime And then we traveled up and over the pond and then we went out and away into the distance.

It was cool, but in that video I also challenged them to create their own one-piece

piston

houses

and they did it. And I have to say, some of them are amazing. This first one comes from Omega Does Things and they have created it almost like a small security complex. This is hypermodern. We have all kinds of gray blocks and you can see that we actually have a little guarded entrance here in the front. So what we have to do is get an employee ID. We have to get one. of those So let's address that quickly. We have the worker's ID here And then we have to present the ID to the guards, let's just throw this over the top and hopefully they can see it, fingers crossed.

More Interesting Facts About,

insane 1 chunk piston houses in minecraft...

If I've done this correctly, our door actually opens. And that's really cool! Look! Then that door drops and is also covered by the block, so it's like a little seamless, hidden piston door. That's really cute *Mumbo laugh™* I really like this. This is amazing. Now, I know what you're thinking, but what's up with this wall? It's a great security system, but what's going on here? Well, they've thought about this: if you jump on this thing, you can see that we land on top of that tripwire and fall to the bottom. And we die. But, if let's say, for example, we have feather boots that fall and we don't die if we enter here.

Which is the only way we can go, we could look inside and think, hey, that looks really cool, but it's not. It's going to last a long time because yes, lava falls from the ceiling. That would be painful. What a horrible way to die. I always appreciate piston

houses

that have working bathrooms. Any piston house with a working bathroom is immediately marked with about four points in my books. This place is full of really interesting details, for example this piston elevator that goes up and down, up and down. being my personal favorite. Because, as you can see, it depends on this wool burning and then eventually, once all that is gone, this flying machine activates and sends us into orbit.

I would never have thought of doing all this. I mean it's totally ridiculous, but brilliant. But anyway, I think it's pretty obvious that... this person has invested a lot of time and effort into this. We have pretty much everything you could ask for, I mean seriously, we have storage systems, melting furnace sets, viewing stations. That's all, all. It is wonderfully well done. In a really nice change of tone here we have Deviator with a fantastic build, I mean this is the kind of thing I wish I could do. How many details are there here? Oh, it's impressive.
And I personally like the fact that they've kept, they've also kept Mumbo's mustache on the front of the house. It's a brilliant detail. This looks amazing. I can't wait to go in and see what kind of redstone contraptions we have *Mumbo laugh™* That's amazing! I haven't seen one of these in years! I love it. Oh, that's so funny. *Mumbo laughter™* I think the way I would describe this place is just clever. For example, this wall here, it looks really cool. It has stairs to climb, but if we turn this lever, you can see that a staircase actually comes out of the wall.
Now it's a very simple redstone contraption, not too complicated, but it just fits together very well. This piston house is a piston house that doesn't look like a piston house. When I build a piston house, there is red stone everywhere and you can see that there are gadgets everywhere. It doesn't really show in this place, but I think that's probably one of its biggest assets. I mean, look at this! We have a crazy machine that shoots arrows. That's one crazy defense station. Now I have to say that this build has given me a lot of inspiration for future piston houses simply because it showed me a completely different way to create a piston house.
I usually fill mine with a bunch of complicated gadgets and go all over the place. These are simple Redstone gadgets. Integrated very well, for example, look at that thing. I mean, how cool is that for an emergency exit? They just knock you down. They just drop you on the grass. Oh, it's shiny and so well designed, I love it. This is probably one of my favorite piston houses I've seen in a long time, and you know what, speaking of smart, this garage. Look at this, okay? Check out this idea for using hatches. So these top hatches open and then retract.
Gives you a garage system that works. Check it out! How simple is that? I mean talking about good design. That's a good design. That is awesome. I-I've never seen that before and it's cool. I also like the idea of having a boat garage. I wouldn't mind one of the ones I have in my own house, but seriously, wow, it's going to be hard to top that one. I think I'm falling in love with this one. I want this in real life. Now, I would personally describe this next designer as very literal. Sian Gaming has built a piston house.
It's a piston that he has transformed into a house, and I have to say that it is also a very nice piston. I really like the slime that falls from above. It looks great, and if we press this button at the bottom, you can see that that will open this piston door and allow us to enter. And the interior of this place, well, fits very well with the already dirty piston theme. And the first thing I've noticed is this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful mustache. I mean, I wish- oh my word *Mumbo laughter™* What!? How did that happen?
That's funny. Apparently I am now equipped with the creator head. I mean, you never expect this kind of thing. So I just sent the elevator up to the top, which I assume is the bedroom area, but I couldn't help but notice this little lever down here, which, Whoa, okay, that activates. That activates this nether portal now. I wonder if they've done things in the abyss, I guess not *Mumbo laughter™* But we do have, we have a beautiful face with a mustache right there. And I guess if we show up again, I mean, I guess But I'm going to come back out the bottom.
Even so. I like that. I like this a lot. Toggle lower portal hidden below. There are many interesting details in this place. For example, if I place a redstone torch on this block that will open this piston door right here, which will give us access to all these chests that of course have boats and hoes, we have Bumbo Cactoni. We've got a little bit of bottom rack there. We have a mustache. I think we have general parts related to Redstone, and then also sugar cane, pillar, sugar cane, brick wall. I'm liking it. I'm liking that a lot.
And the bedroom is also quite interesting. We have bedtime alert systems. We have an archery game here and some potion brewing stations and whatnot. Just very nice, cool, built. And I like the fact that it's inside a piston. This one from Jin Jocks is really cool because on the surface it looks absolutely tiny, but then as you go down you see that it actually expands enormously. Here we go, and there it is. Yes, this place is pretty big. *Mumbo laughter™* Aw, it looks mega on the side of the mountain, that's really cool. Now, from what I can tell, I need to unlock this vault somehow using these doors.
So I think I need to open this one. And close this okay, maybe? No, that didn't sound right. There we go, we've made it in! What a crazy way to have to enter a room. Alright, and then I guess we have no more fun matters here other than the fact that I've clearly forgotten how to use a piston lifter. So, let's shoot all over the floors. Floor number two is the armor equipment station, we have storage for several different items. You have an armor support swap there and then down here. We have an armor equipment station on the ground.
Very elegant. Floor number three is the bakery. We have super foundry systems. These are the entrances to the super foundry, so you place the items and they will rise upwards and then reach the furnaces. We have a storage station for brewing potions and also storage sprouts. So that's I'll send the items up. Very cool. Floor number four is storage. There we have all the essential items, wood, Redstone and the different agricultural supplies. Number five is agriculture, again, very important. You couldn't have a base without it And it seems like we've got all the big farms, melon, pumpkin, sugar cane, we've got cocoa beans right there And then if we roll up like this, I think I hear the sound of a wheat farm.
Also driven by the villagers. Oh, and it also managed to fit chickens and cows. This is really impressive. And finally, on the top floor, we have a beautiful attic. Once again, full of small red stone details scattered everywhere and a flying machine that will allow us to reach the top of that cabin that we had on the surface. I like this place. Yes. I really like this place. Now this Jack Miller design looks fantastic, but as I'm sure you can see, my computer doesn't like it in this world. Really is. He is seriously struggling with this one.
I mean, what the hell has he built in this place? Now that everything is settled, one of the main reasons I really like this place is because of the way they transfer between this layer here and the layer above. When I build these kinds of things, I tend to build hidden staircases or piston elevator type things, I've never thought about just having a piece of levitating floor. I mean, how cool is that? Just do it and you jump to the next level, and this level is full of things. I mean, we have agricultural machines, we have shulker box storage systems.
It's all here, I mean what else could you do? possibly want? Well, you might want a lot more rooms. If we just throw an object on top of this piece of carpet, you'll see that that will activate this corner here, allowing us to drop down to the next layers. So here we have a simple little storage system, and if we continue from there we have well, we have all kinds, I mean, we have super foundries. We have potion brewing rooms. There is a lot, but how much can fit in a single piece? A lot, because there's a lot more, I mean, we have this room right here with a diamond sword counting machine.
Uh, we have these lower rooms that run through these quartz areas. I mean, this place is huge. This place is absolutely. huge Look how much you have to go through to resurface *Mumbo laughter™* Crazy, absolutely crazy. Anyway, Mike Miner is another who has managed to create an absolutely stunning looking one-piece piston house. This is a really nice design. I wish he could build like that. I look at this kind of thing and think to myself that I could never achieve that kind of thing. But anyway, the way we get in here is by simply moving both levers AND you can see the walls fall to the ground, which is fantastic.
And, if we go in, well, this place looks very creepy. I'm a little worried about pressing these buttons. I have no idea what's going to happen. Okay, so those are the lamps. And that's the final straw! I knew it was going to happen! But that brings us to this room here, which, once again, Beautiful! Really very well made and I love these little guys. They are almost our little outings. How wonderful! This is an armored equipment station with extra stuff, swords and shovels. That is the most important. I will always, like I say, always mark places that have armor equipping stations.
I don't know if it's a good idea or not. It seemed like it! That was a success! That takes us to this area down to the bottom where there are little storage systems, and we also have, I guess this is a little sorting system as well. Oh! And we could go down even further to this area down here! Again, beautifully decorated, I mean, it doesn't get any better than that. Not only do we have lava lighting, but we also have a beautiful Mumbo face. Right there! Really smart! All of these piston houses are very different in many different ways.
People take different angles, try different ways of building things. Some of them are super technical, some of them are super decorative, that's why I love running these types of contests, because you get so many different approaches to the same thing. Oh, and just as a side note, this place continues. I mean, no... we have farms now. You have an agricultural area down here. We have lovely tables. I think that's all. I mean, must be like this. Surely nothing else happens. I think we've finally gotten to the bottom of it. Yes, there is nothing more important than that.
There is definitely nothing under this place. But do you understand what I mean by different approaches? I mean this one from Glowing Mooshroom, I repeat Glowing Mooshroom, apparently I got that name wrong last time I made a piston house challenge video, he has built a UFO and it looks brilliant, and I just want to say also that they made a video fantastic showing this. It's really interesting. Well, let's take a look inside. I guess what we have up here are some controls for our alien spaceship. We have flashing levers. We also have a useless machine here, but if we press this button.
I'm guessing. This is the one that matters. Can you see the elevator going up? Here it comes! You'll meet us at the top in the UFO and we'll go down, through the... is it a tractor beam? I don't remember what this thing is called, but it's some kind of beam, and they've done an incredibly good job decorating it. It is a very good color combination. It looks amazing, but now we're descending into this area which is completely different! This looks like something out of Indiana Jones! Here we have fully automatic agricultural systems. We have a little bread maker right there.
It looks like we have a lighting system, so if you move that lever you can see all the fires lit. That looks amazing. And also, continue. I mean, it goes even lower. We have this area down here, which again is beautifully done. I love the idea of having these trapdoors on top of this lava. I think that looks amazing. We have Shulker box exchange systems. We have a rating system right here. We have bunk beds in the walls. Looks great. It just looks amazing. There isn't as much red stone involved, but it looks amazing. I have no idea what these levers do, but I'm just... moving them around randomly *Mumbo laugh™* And it seems like maybe they don't do anything.
There we have it guys, that's all the piston houses that I'm going to feature in today's video. I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed watching all the presentations. I also just want to thank you. Thanks to everyone who built a piston house from a single piece and submitted it. There were so many awesome entries and I'll put plenty of other honorable mentions in the description so you can read and watch the entire video. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed it! If you did, go to the Like button. And if you really loved it, make sure to subscribe, but thanks for watching guys.
