What's happening guys? I'm Rob. If you enjoy my content, be sure to hit that subscribe button and be sure to hit that little bell so you never miss my sexy voice. Okay, so we'll continue with Infinity Ward's main number one now. I thought about doing a countdown to Infinity Wars, but it's totally unnecessary, it's basically a Guardians of the Galaxy

story

and the Guardians fight the gardener, the

story

isn't even that interesting, the big conclusion to that, well, they were two big conclusions, one is that Galactus. is the Eater of Worlds again and the Silver Surfer is his Herald again and the other is that there is a character called Requiem which we'll talk about here in a minute because I have a pretty solid theory of who that character is, but unless initially this coincides with Loki, this is the actual story of Infinity Wars itself and this is basically the whole event as a race for the Infinity Stones and different people are chasing the Infinity Stones for different reasons, for example Gamora's . hunting down the soul stone because he discovered that there was a fraction of his soul that was so trapped in it now, actually, that's Jerry Dugan and Marvel, like going back to the old Jim Starlin stories, just like you read the old comics of Jim Starlin from behind.

In the 80's and 90's and Gomorrah along with Pip the Troll and Adam Warlock had spent most of their time within the world of souls, the problem with this was that it was always believed that when Gomorrah returned he would be his entire incomplete self. , but what we ended up learning is that a part of her was still trapped there and she actually aged, which didn't really make any sense because in the soul stone no one ages, so it's kind of interesting, but basically there was an ancient version of herself that was there and it was the quest to find that whole part of herself and bring it back, so the result here is that initially we basically ended up joining Loki, now Loki is an omnipotent city and for those of you who have been following Thor. comics for a while, this originally made its debut in 2013 with Thor, God of Thunder number three, I'm pretty sure, but the basically omnipotent city was this place, it was designed by writer Jason Aaron to essentially flesh out the Thor mythos and build .

On the right there was essentially like this large parliamentary location where it was originally built by the Elder Gods before they died or, you know, where it was essentially removed by the landscape and which ultimately served as a house of sorts. It also features a guy named Flow, who is basically a guardian of the tomb. Sorry, a keeper of the tome. Now the Tome Guardians are actually kind of a new concept at Marvel and the reason is because again Jason Aaron was building on a lot of things, so it makes sense when you're talking about the Asgardian mythos because it's such a big part of Marvel Comics. right now because you have the war of the kingdoms and a lot of changes were made.

I can't really ignore them, especially when you consider the fact that Jason Aaron's Ron is a multifaceted race that coldly continues for quite some time and therefore a lot of the things that are happening with Asgard tie into existing Asgardian myths or act as a complement, of course, we had like the Congress of the Worlds, for example, and you had like, you know, this kind of multiversal library of all these ancient books on different things like that, but the ones who keep the tone are guys who basically keep all. these different tomes these kinds of history books and different things like that these books on a wide range of different things now the idea behind this was that originally they were all confined to a singular location, but Freya, Odin's wife, had essentially taken the decision to basically go and start splitting them up into two different locations and this actually served to be beneficial when Asgard was essentially destroyed and because Asgard was gone because now all you have is like Gardea, the version of Asgard that Iron Man built after The siege events what you have now is essentially like all these different locations in this sort of Asgardian kingdom that has all these different books about history and artifacts and stuff like that and what Loki's been doing is, if there's one thing I can say , is actually parsing what amounts to stories basically stories that take place in alternate universes and the reason is it starts talking about how all of these stories have Marvel characters in them but the events basically play out in different ways so Spider-Man never loses the Venom symbiote, Captain America, and you never know, he's never frozen or frozen and basically makes himself present in the United States, different things like that, but Loki is essentially poring over all of these books because in none of them actually take control and become ruler of Asgard. he's always the backup type, he's always the type of guy that never really leads to a singular place, so the question is what's going on with all this, like the information in his books is incomplete or incorrect and we have than looking for factual information. well, of course, at this point, although it basically says: look, you have to go to God Quarry if you want to find out now, of course, close, guys who have been reading OHS fan, that God Quarry was invented in that line of comics. and it's basically this idea that there's a place out there on the edge of the universe, on the edge of, you know, dimensional space, where if you can go to the quarry of the gods, survive the three-dimensional test. witches, which is basically not doing it.

Give in to the illusion that you see and then you will emerge with a whole, you know, with a higher level of power. Now the idea is that it is a power improvement. What he seems to be hitting here is basically saying that it's not just power, it's also knowledge, so it's the idea that Loki can go into the god quarry and then in turn start looking at all this information that's there. there and get a real account of the various universes that exist now, again, there are different ways this can go. I know that Infinity Wars will basically come down to the various holders of the soul stones facing off against each other and will probably or will not become some sort of reboot of everything it will probably be. a soft reset, ah, but it'll be like it's probably some kind of reset where they'll use the reality stone to move forward and start fixing things by making little adjustments, different things like that, uh, how will that affect the things that we don't do I don't know, but it could be that other characters from different universes are attracted due to Loki's knowledge with the divine quarry that he goes to those different universes, grabs them and brings them back.
One of the interesting things is that there will be an infinite warp that is actually based on Jaspers' warp and is essentially like character fusion. There are a lot of really cool things coming out of Infinity Wars this summer. It looks like it will be one of the best events Marvel has ever done in the world. It really lasted in the last decade, which actually makes sense, with the exception of Secret Wars, Secret Avengers of the Hickman Empire, and New Avengers, considering that, only you know those are like the only handful of events, They've been great, everything else.
It's just been there, it's just things that happened. I still say on stage. The Secret Empire is one of the best Captain America stories ever written. I know people get mad at me for saying that because I don't, because I don't agree. with him, but I still thought it was an incredible story. I thought it was absolutely incredible, but of course, this basically leads to, you know, throwing up, basically grabbing Loki and the two of them go on a journey to the god's quarry, which is. It's a cool idea, but at this point we switch to Adam Warlock and Doctor Strange.
Now remember that when it comes to the Soul Stone in Marvel Comics, Adam Warlock is an integral part of it, I mean, he's as much a part of it as he is an arm. or a leg or something because he spent so much time inside her and so much time fisting her. I mean, again, that goes back to the old Jim Starlin stories, this idea that Adam Warlock was given the power, so sorry given the soul stone by the High Evolutionary and used its power to accomplish various feats. , but discovered that in the future he would go mad, which would lead to the formation of the Wizard and while this goes into the

full

story of Adam and the various stories and fence that have taken place over the years, he he actually found himself instead of going into some kind of cocoon to basically regenerate, he would instead go to the soul stone and that would be some kind of place of solace, his kind of Zen location more or less because of the fact that he's part and parcel of it, but he can come and go as he pleases, but the idea is that people are gathering the soul stones or, sorry, gathering the

infinity

stones and that's why everyone is chasing them. now because Doctor Strange himself, Adam's belief was that all the Soul Stones except Sorry, all the Infinity Stones except the Soul Stone had been destroyed after the collapse of the multiverse. and the rebirth of him but dr. stranger basically reveals that he has the soul stone now this coming out of the Infinity Wars countdown was basically the reveal that the scrolls had gotten their hands on the hot stone during the events of all that and like Planet Hulk 2 and so on. go ahead, but this basically leads to the idea that Stephen Strange has it in his possession and doesn't tell anyone and actually this is Dugan and company, like they're Illuminati, like Brian Michael Bendis, it's Illuminati, it's say. this group of people who took the soul stones under themselves, sorry, the

infinity

stones, Jesus, under themselves and said no one else will be able to use these things, were the only people who, quote, are capable to handle them without becoming corrupted. by them with all this in mind, what is happening is that the idea is to enter the soul stone and see what effect the soul stones have, basically you don't see how everything goes down and when Adam enters it, we No to find the soul stone is to literally be corrupted.
Adam Warlock's powers don't work here, so this is actually kind of darling because Jerry Dugan gets the idea that things were developing at a pretty quick pace. There is a lot of ambiguity here. There are a lot of questions being asked and a lot of questions that will be answered in time and where Dr. Strange is on the outside he basically has a leash attached to Adam to get him out in case of an emergency it doesn't seem to work so when Dr. . stranger comes back in and ends up finding that Adam Warlock is totally impaled and it's one of those crazy things because what ends up happening here is he manipulates the time stone to basically take out Adam Warlock at least to try to save his life and of course , this leads Adam Warlock to basically say: hey, look, you've had the time stone the whole time, why didn't you tell me?
This isn't the first time Doctor Strange has done this right, like using the time stone in such a way. Fashion in general, time manipulation in Marvel Comics is something that people usually don't like to see or that people would like dr. Strangers generally don't like to use them and the reason goes back to a variety of reasons. I mean, one of the most tangible reasons came from the events of Age of Ultron, you know, when you had Wolverine jumping around. At that moment it was kind of a revelation, time itself is a physical thing that's a bit like a rubber band, if you pull on it and let it contract enough times, eventually you'll basically destroy its elasticity and it will break, and that's really what happened with Age of Ultron, you know basically that time was broken in quotes, but when you look at things like this, Doctor Strange's idea is to say that the entire multiverse exists as a branching universe theory that if you go back in time and you change something you will create a whole new different universe, it won't necessarily affect the current time, but you don't know what kind of universe you will create, what kind of beans you will lead to because of Marvel Comics you are talking about. about a wide range of different characters, some of whom are multiversal, so what you could end up doing here is inadvertently creating a universe in which we are like Jean Gray never loses, the Phoenix force goes crazy with her power and decides to end the entire multiverse. in the process you could pass by and inadvertently resurrect the afterlife and suddenly they're dealing with time running out again, there are all kinds of different things that could come up with time manipulation, so Doctor Strange keeps it a secret. saying look, no one is supposed to know about this is a big deal, the other half of this is Adam Warlock saying look, you can keep the time stone in your possession, just know that there are people out there who were searching and you know. that aparticular individual will come in search of the Infinity Stones it is the nature of who he is as soon as the multiverse is recreated as soon as Reed Richards restored this universe in the Fantastic fork that with the restoration of the Infinity Stones he come and get them, This person, of course, is Thanos, and it's kind of cool because what this does is play with the idea that Thanos is basically going to try to start capturing the Infinity Stones again and at first it's kind of like Thanos with the Infinity Stones again. , it's happened a million times and that's the perception that's postponed here because it's like this grand speech, you know, I'm leaving the Chitauri army, the universe is

full

of weaklings, you know?
I will take the Infinity Stones like I always do and I will take absolute power once again. The problem is that while he is making this speech he is completely impaled by someone with a sword and this is when we get a full view of Requiem and it's cool how Requiem looks pretty awesome now one of the little things that have been happening here as part of the Infinity Wars countdown and they were like one-page things at the beginning of every story is that this character from Requiem had basically walked up to a dwarf and said modeling.
I got this particular kind of sword and I put on this kind of armor and if you don't I'll kill you and that was basically it and that's what led to Requiem showing up the way Requiem happens and literally annihilates Thanos. Now for the funny thing and here's something important to keep in mind. Danos recognizes that Requiem is like that. Alright. He was wondering how long it will be before you get here. This has led to a litany of theories. Some people have said that Requiem. It's like Gomorrah, other people directly speculate that Liam is a nebula that's basically like a repeat of the Infinity Gauntlet.
A lot of people are speculating about all these different things. If I were a gambler, I'd bet all the money in my pockets on all the money in your pockets. Requiem is actually File Avella and the reason I say this is because for those who don't know, and I imagine there are a lot of people who don't know, File of Val is the biological daughter of the original Captain Marvel, who of course , was one of the members of Creek, now of course the original Captain Marvel died in 1984, but although different characters took up the mantle, the final Val is one of the most notable versions, she ultimately became the most new. quasar, but when it comes to Ella's character file, she was amazing, I mean, she would, she was a badass, there was a point where she became a bit of a villain, but the reason I say I think that it is she is because Thanos recognizes it. her: she kills Thanos now, this is kind of a mirror image of what we saw in the kingdom of Kings when Thanos emerges from a cocoon after being resurrected and immediately kills the available file, so I would say it's probably her, but I'm still following this like it's basically a crusade to eliminate Thanos and everything Dano represents because we're the laws of combat in Chitauri society basically say you keep what you kill, something is something that can select the Chronicles of Riddick, which What this means is that now she's the leader of the Chitauri army and in response she kills them all but she uh nya slows them all down completely and basically says this is it, this is what's going to happen here, you know, essentially I will take care of all this.
We have eliminated Thanos. Thanos is gone and we have no real idea what his motivations are, but again I think the idea of it being a file review is awesome because if she's the daughter of the original Captain Marvel, then what he's going to do is bring her to Carol. Danvers into a direct conflict and basically she could show up and say you don't need to be here and I think it would lead to an incredible fight between the two of them and then it's like a man like that is an amazing concept, so many interesting things could be done from This, it could very well just turn out to be this nebula and that's it, but I think it would be a little disappointing if it turned out to be a nebula because ultimately it's too predictable an idea.
The story is supposed to end in October and you'll actually find out who it is, if it's a nebula you'll find out depending on what happens in Avengers 4, how the trailer plays out with Avengers 4, because that Guys, Marvel Comics is copying the Marvel Cinematic Universe and so they're basically going to reveal the end of how this all ends with regards to Avengers 4. You know that's going to really seal the deal here, but it's a cool concept and it's a cool idea. I really hope it's not a completely new character because what Marvel tends to do is create a completely new character and a writer does something amazing with them, you know, and bye-bye. bye Kevin groove, oh and then it's like it's this amazing introductory story and then no one knows what to do with it so they basically take them to the cornfields and you never hear from them again, whereas if this is a concern for so long since they were lost, you can basically return them to the random game the same way they've always been or create a new one for them and then everything becomes amazing after that so I'm very excited like I have headroom to See how this is all going to play out, so my girlfriend says I always open my videos, I hope they're like this and I've never noticed it before, but apparently I do now that I think about it, it's like learning about my speaking cadence, apparently speak. they kind of like it, like my voice goes up and then it goes down and I never realized before apparently that pattern is what makes my voice ooh, I guess I have no idea we're covering Infinity Wars, so Infinity Wars It's basically about this guy. of a mad dash for the Infinity Stones, and we first saw this in Infinity Wars Prime at the beginning, it was like okay, Thanos is hunting for the Infinity Stones again, which is par for the course, as are the Viet Infinity stones. almost part and parcel of Thanos, his character, but in that story at the end, someone named Requiem killed Thanos and then it was like okay, that's crazy, so now what we're doing is like picking up After that and really the recognition by various superheroes on Earth that someone is hunting for the Infinity Stones, now what we do here is we pick up initially with Gamora no Gamora's encounter with Peter Quill and it's a cool moment because what? she says is that a part of her is missing and to talk about this for a second I want to discuss the concept of the soul world within the soul stone, so when it comes to Marvel Comics, when you were really, uh, Jim Starlin was writing Old Adam Warlock and the old Danno stories, etc., the soul world was introduced in such a way that it was a universal world across the board, that is, it is a world within the soul stone and it appears the same to all.
There is no differentiation in it. What Marvel has done recently is basically take the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Soul World and put it into the comics, which seems to indicate the idea that the structure and shape of the Soul World are relative. for every single soul that's in it it's like it's the afterlife essentially like Chris Claremont's old x-men comics when Jean Gray as the White Phoenix meets death and death basically says we've got all these pillars here and each of These pillars are the afterlife for each individual person, changing it now, Gamora, we know that part of her is still trapped there now, the indication here is that she has always been there where she, a warlock Adam and the Patrol Pip had basically sacrificed their lives. in the last days of the Thanos war when Jim Stalin was writing it, that's where Adam Warlock was completely gone and so was the troll, a part of Gomorrah was left behind now again as we know that's the way What Marvel works on in the end. of Infinity War in the comics landscape and then tell a story based on that, but the fact remains here.
Becca Moore is trying to find a way to get that part of her soul back, that's really what this whole thing has been about and so she's essentially the first of many people who seem to be chasing the Infinity Stones for their own individual reasons and what she ends up doing is actually, you know, taking the power stone along with her now, one of the other things to note here is that of course Peter Quill has a power stone as a consequence of essentially the whole countdown leading up to Infinity Wars, so if you want to check it out, you can check the countdown, but the whole countdown is really just a series of guardians of the galaxy stories and they're not very important, I mean, they're cool , but they are by no means required reading, but suffice it to say that the Guardians of the Galaxy are basically disbanded.
At this point, the team doesn't really exist anymore and So with Gamora leaving, what we end up doing is continuing with the group now, for those who aren't up to speed, the fact that Groot is speaking full sentences will seem strange, like if it was like what they know the group can do. Now talk, yes, that was part of the countdown to Infinity Wars, but it was a battle with the gardener and essentially the gardener was, of course, one of the greatest in the universe and what ended up happening is that the floor colossi basically They were defeated and so on.
At that, Groot adjusted so that he was no longer relegated to saying his own name. He can now basically say complete sentences, but he must say them in the third person, so he will say that Groot told you that Gamora wouldn't do it. Join us, you know, and what we do from here is we pick up Earth's real superheroes, i.e. Adam Warlock and Raksha Destroyer, etc., and we basically meet all these villains, which is nice . from a strange setting, it's not something you normally look for, but these are not, they are by no means high profile villains, like you have Turk, you have Diana, you have Sandman, where you have what are basically ours. street level villains and it's kind of a smart move and the reason for this is because what Doctor Strange is doing is summoning the second iteration of the Infinity clock, which is what Tsar Lord, what Peter Quill essentially shows up to to join now.
For those of you who are new to Marvel Comics, the Infinity Watch will most likely be the litmus test for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most likely, I bet it's those people who decide which contracts expire and who don't want to. come back or want to take a break, they will become part of the infinity clock and be dragged into the universe somewhere and you will probably never see them except once or twice, but the infinity clock was a piece of equipment that was created by Jim Starlin after the Infinity Gauntlet. and then in turn it became a pretty durable team for a while, you had like a moon dragon, you had pip the troll, you had Drax a destroyer, you had Thanos who had Adam Warlock. and I mean you had Gamora, but basically what happened here was at the end of Infinity Gauntlet because Spanos had gone crazy because Adam Warlock was deemed unworthy of wielding the Infinity Gauntlet proper.
Oh, in turn, the lovely court decreed that the gems would never work in unison again and that Adam Warlock had to disperse them so that the gems could still be used where they couldn't form the gauntlets so that the mine stone would still work, the time stone, space stone, reality stone, etc. all still work. independently, but to make sure no one tries to gather them again or to make sure no one gets each individual stone, use it for your own purposes. Adam Warlock's Infinity watch and were designed for the purpose of simply safeguarding the Infinity stones, that's all they really did.
Doctor Strange summoned this for the purpose of finding a way to secure the stones and his idea here is that the stones must be removed from the face of the earth. They have to be brought here because if they stay here, they will be in a centralized location and are easily accessible now. Doctor Strange's adoption of this idea actually stems from his experience with the Illuminati, that was the problem when all these guys got together. In the way, the Illuminati do one of the first things they did was sit down, you know, look for the Infinity Stones and then hold them in unison, hold them together and then in turn disperse each one of them to a member of the Illuminati for safekeeping, but they were all found on Earth, so if someone decided to appear on Earth and then take the stones, it would be much easier than if they were scattered throughout the universe, and that is the Doctor's answer.
Strange here, we have to find a way to keep these things safe and move them around; basically, scatter them all over the cosmos so that they are not easily accessible now, of course, for some of the guys that are here, the kind of question is what is it all about This because remember that manyPeople on the street don't really know what Infinity Stones are, but then you have someone like Turk Barrett who basically uses limestone. He's kind of a street guy that he was originally a henchman for Kingpin. and then he, in turn, got the mine stone and then he started listening to similar stockbrokers' mines on people like that and basically started jumping into insider trading and, upon hearing, you know, using the stone of the mind to realize what was happening. behind the scenes, what people were thinking about various stocks and such, he would change their investments accordingly and they became super rich was actually a pretty clever way because how else are they going to trace it back to insider trading? ?
I mean, there's no conceivable way to do it and then from there, people just ask questions. Now the other part of this is that Adam Warlock even steps in and says something is happening with the soul stone, it's corrupted in some way now for people who have been reading Marvel Comics for a long time, the fact that Adam Warlock not be the one leading the charge is a big deal and, again, this is just Reminiscent of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of those things where Marvel is bringing the university closer to the movies because if this were the case, if the Universe Marvel Cinematic Universe did not exist and this story was published, Adam Warlock or Butte would probably be the one who assembles the infinite clock, but the entire success or failure of Thanos' defeat and the infinite war in Avengers 4 depends on Doctor Strange's plan and So it makes sense that a Doctor Strange in the comics would be the one running the show.
Because Marvel is trying to make sure they're stuck there, they're closer here now, it's a little crazy because remember when it comes to the Infinity Stones, you don't have to use them all at once. you can use a couple of them together and that's what Doctor Strange does. Doctor Strange actually uses the Time Stone along with the Reality Stone and the Docks and essentially grants himself cosmic consciousness momentarily only to find out that Thanos has been killed and that's what the entire basis is behind it. This is because if Thanos is searching for the Infinity Stones, which is what all the rumors had been indicating, it made sense to form the Infinity Clock, but if Thanos has been killed, then the question is who the hell killed him and, as of There, what are we going to do?
What he's going to end up doing is continuing with Loki, what Loki is doing here is traveling to the God Quarry and the reason is because even Loki himself has questions about what's going on with the big picture and different things like that, and it's going to be something interesting. here because what Jerry Duggan is going to do is provoke something pretty important, what ends up happening is that when Loki arrives at the god's quarry, he ends up running towards the coven, the three witches, now for those who don't know the inclusion of the god quarry here is a bit intriguing because when Jeff Lemire introduced god quarry in the Thanos line of stories, the concept seemed to be that those who enter the god corium is some sort of place where the old gods go to die, as well as something like the foothold bar for the Celestials was like the place where they go to die and then they pass the Celestials who enter and die, but for this it is basically several gods, but a person can go to the quarry of gods and can undergo the quarry test and what it will do is basically put them through a psychological and physical test, you know, bend reality and give them the universe that they always wanted to exist and if they pass the test, then they are given the power From the Cory God, if they fail, they are locked there forever, but the fact is that when Loki arrives here and begins to talk to the coven, the initial response of the coven is as if everything has come to an end, as if eternity is ending and then in response the god Cory seems to be destroyed and the coven basically disappeared, that seems to be what's happening there because what ends up happening is you end up having this version of Loki who crash landed in the main Marvel Universe and has a hammer.
He has Thor's hammer and he has the Infinity Stones, which is a little crazy, but this is an alternate reality version of himself, but this is extremely important, it's probably one of the most important things we'll have here because it What happens is when the main Marvel Universe, Loki starts talking to this, you know, a super version of himself, god Loki or whatever you want to call him, Infinite Loki, I think it's some kind of Infinite Loki, I think it's a name great, what you have is infinite Loki, it refers to something called. the original universe and this is a little crazy here because Marvel hasn't done this yet, this is a cool moment because what this seems to indicate is that maybe the role of the Infinity Stones has changed and what I mean by that is at Marvel.
In the comics, the Infinity Stones are only relative to the universe they're in, like you can't take the Infinity Stones from the main model universe and then appear in the real world and use them or appear in Marvel Cinematic. Universe and use that right, it doesn't work that way Thanos can't leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the Infinity Stones, take them to the main Marvel Universe and wreak havoc, the power of the Infinity Stones can only be used in that particular. universe and we know this from a variety of different stories and what happens here, since it seems like the Infinity Stones are almost like the inability to go from one universe to the next, that khana seems to be the case and that would make sense because If it What this guy is saying is true, if what Jerry Dugan is implying is true, then it would seem that all the Infinity Stones in the entire cosmos originated in the original universe and if that is true, it would almost be like creating a bridge to access . that original universe because notice the way the jury didn't write says that this version of Loki doesn't say that you can't access all the other universes without urine Finity Stones assemble the statement that you can't access the original universe, so it makes sense.
And what ends up happening is that this version of Loki returns to his own universe, you know, teleports back to the battle that he's fighting, which involves all these superheroes like the Avengers and the Asgardians, etc. . and so on and why they all get killed by a Soul Eater like they've basically been wiped out completely, it's kind of crazy because going back to dr. strange and going back to the various members of the infinite clock as they form, what we end up doing is the whole group meets the arrival of Thor and Iron Man and it's kind of a question of what's going on.
What the hell is going on here right now, like what is this and where you have the villains breaking into a fight against the heroes and no one really trusts anyone and so on and so on, then they are met with the arrival of Requiem, the person that killed the OHS fan and all eyes turn to whoever this character is and it's a little crazy because from here on out Requiem basically has the power stone on her sword and that's the question that needs to be asked. If Gomorrah took the power stone then Requiem killed Gomorrah and took it and it's cool because if that's the case then the reenactment is incredibly dangerous because Gomorrah was one of the most powerful fighters in the Marvel Universe and that's why people start to ask. the question who the hell are you and of course Brooklyn responds by saying that Tano referred to me as his Requiem and that's just who I am.
I am Requiem and the various characters begin to go on the offensive as roots of the first. to attack the roots, the first downed Peter Quill uses his freeze gun while all these people start shooting at Requiem, then the rocket raccoon comes out of nowhere and takes off Requiem's helmet only for us to find out that it's been Gamora the whole time. time and it's just kind of like damn because like Gamora killed Thanos and it makes sense, like it makes perfect sense, the victim would be more the one who should do it. I mean, again, Marvel's Rowling the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the comics, little by little, little by little, you know, little by little and So, of course, given what happened in the MCU, it makes sense that Gamora would be intertwined and she will be the one who defeats Thanos, which I don't know if that will happen in Avengers 4, but if I were a betting man, I would say that Gamora will be the one who kills Thanos, but still, as long as she has a story like the one she has had in Marvel Comics and while she has been an enemy of Thanos in Marvel Comics, it makes sense that she is the one who kills him or she or a nebula like Neverland could be the one to take down Fanus but at the end of the day it ends up being like Maura who is the one who kills him and what ends up saying is that I did this because I'm on a quest for the soul stone like I'm on a quest for the infinity stones and the soul stones themselves so if you can't do this to me if you can't help me if you're going to get in my way then I will eliminate you all like that's how it is like I will eliminate each and every one of you like I will destroy you all and Gamora.
Peter Quill bluffs, right, oh, Peter Quill is like that. No, you're not like I've fought with you forever like I've fought with you for a long time, we even made it to the galaxy, we've been lovers together, like I knew he wouldn't kill me and his answer is yes, I will, Peter. and she sticks her sword in his chest and impales him and it's like, wow, Gamora just killed Star-lord, that's crazy, okay, so we're getting into Infinity Wars, oh really, Infinity Wars, part two , this basically comes on the heels of something like that. Gamora capturing the Infinity Stones, which is a little strange.
The idea that Gamora was basically a character named Requiem who killed Thanos. I honestly felt like it was too early for a reveal. I'm not really sure why Geri Dugan decided to abandon the reveal. quick, but maybe there's other crazy stuff in store, the only thing I can assume here is that Avengers 4 will end with Gamora taking out Thanos, so it was more of an editorial mandate because we know Marvel is adjusting the comics to Copy the Cinematic Universe from Marvel and it's kind of interesting, but the fact is that what this does is pick up the past a little bit and really gives us this continuing journey regarding Gamora, something that scares us to remember.
She is part of a race called Zen wall beerus and her people were wiped out by another group. I think she was oh God, what was she? She starts off with being the bad guy. Anyway, I hit him hard on the head. It was when she was an adult. she came back and took out the people who wiped out her people, so when she was younger, of course, Thanos taking her under his wing really taught her to be pretty tough. I mean, basically, turning her helped make her one of the world's most well-known four-digit assassins in the universe, really the most dangerous woman in the universe, but one of the things Thanos talks about here and this is kind of interesting, one of the things he talks about here is the idea that basically everything ends. you know everything is going to die at some point or another and he really follows this ideology that like only the strongest life you know only the strongest survive you know this is kind of uncharacteristic of Thanos as a character and the reason why I say that's right now.
In Marvel Comics today, Thanos has abandoned the idea of his lover dying, walked away from it and said that she's basically a lost cause and said he didn't want anything to do with it, but then when you come back and if you look at that hose, in the past he was very enamored with the death of his lover, so it wouldn't really make much sense for him to adopt this mentality that only the strong deserve to survive because the ruling factor of Thanos and everything he did was to achieve the affections of loving death and then it would make more sense here if I said well, I killed him to please loving death, you know, because death wants death as you know, the sacrifice of life or life is meaningless. because Of course he's a nihilist or something, he doesn't actually say it's kind of a hint that he likes some kind of extreme social darwin, his perspective is that only the strong deserve to survive and it's kind of funny because Gamora He says, well, me.
I mean, if that's true, then there will come a time when you will die. I mean, you told me, but someone is going to kill you and Thanos recognizes it and says yeah, that's the nature of things, the universe is setting up someone to take me out, so again. It's not really like Thanos that we hear him talk that way and that's why it's treated so intriguingly because there's obviously a lot of influence here coming from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that's being copied into the comics or, I guess, that the comics are copied into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, again, you know, picking up the episode with Gamora killing Thanos, what we also discover here is that it wasn't as clear, you know where she, well, no pun intended words, but where he cut off his head was where Thanos really started. talk to himtelepathically now this is ambiguous here and we don't really know exactly how this falls with Thanos walking away from his lover's death and actually leaving her behind ah Thanos going his own way Oh what this basically meant was that it seems Thanos may have been excluded from the realm of the loving Death and, if that's true, his Kapoor, I suppose his essence can live on, but historically speaking in Marvel Comics, when someone like, say, Deadpool is excluded from the realm of the Dead. or even when it comes to himself coming with a nose that was expelled from the lover's realm of death, they are simply immortal, they simply cannot die, their spiritual essence does not live in their physical body, they simply cannot be destroyed, it's impossible to kill them because there's nowhere for them to go and it's a little crazy here because of course you know Gamora responds by eliminating the rest of the Chitauri army and that really brings them to a reason to shut down and then it changes again.
Let's move on to actually with the last story which ended with Gamora killing Star-lord when he killed Peter Quill. Now, of course, if you want to know what's going on there, check out the video in the description, of course, so we know we also have the Infinity War playlist and stuff, but where she goes to impale him, what we end up having is to Doctor Strange summoning the time stone and stopping time. Now, this is an intriguing move because of course, this is obviously again, you know. the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming and Doctor Strange basically saves Peter Quill and of course doesn't cure him, that doesn't happen right away.
I said he basically saves him and then from there you know he really leaves. to the process of curing him, you know as soon as all that is done, but it's intriguing here because not everyone knows how to react and so what you end up having Doctor Strange basically do is take Turk Turk Turk Barrett and then taking it from another to another dimension, now what Doctor Strange is doing here is basically proposing some kind of middle ground and the reason is remembering that Turk obtained the mind stone and what it allowed him to do was read the minds of stockbrokers and things like that and Start investing your money in a way that will convert it until you get a man worth it.
He already knows, mountains and mountains of money worth an absolute fortune, so Dr. The strange answer is that we have to get the Infinity Stones off planet Earth. If we have them all in a singular location, it will be much easier for Gamora to access them, so we will have to spread them throughout the cosmos and turn it into a hunt. That would take him thousands of years to finally figure out, but he remembers that this is one of the things that Dugan, uh no fury, seems to forget or if you just do it in the story and dr. strange I forgot, but remember the infinity stones want to come together, we know from Brian Michael Bendis it's the Illuminati race, we know from the Avengers race and Jonathan Hickman's New Avengers, if you have a stone it will take you to all the others because they want to. to gather together remember that they all come from a singular being that is constantly trying to reform itself and where we would think that Gomorrah would still be a neo, basically a ball lost in the tall brush trying to track down these stones, remember that she has the power stone in a stone of power in his sword, so he already has a kind of locating beacon for the rest of the Infinity Stones, wherever they are, the smart decision of dr.
The strange thing would be to explore them and spread them in different dimensions to take them to different dimensions, now that could well have been the plan and it seems that the most likely thing, at least given Doctor Strange, is power because in that case, else I would never do it. could find them, but neither would anyone else, literally everyone would trust Stephen Strange to make the decision to reform the gems and then presumably reform the Infinity Gauntlet if the crisis were serious enough, but again, it's great here, since You know. Pretty intriguing because in the middle of this fight that's continually going on between the Guardians of the Galaxy and, you know, this kind of hodgepodge of our superheroes and the various villains that were there, we end up having like Iron Man, who arrives on the scene now. .
Once again, this comes with the big guns. This is when the big guys step in and say, "Look, this has gone on long enough. We're in this kind of situation that we've basically been dealing with like chips for the most part." I mean, you have Doctor Strange, who's not really insignificant, but for the most part he's really known to everyone else and this, of course, leads to us showing up to meet with Peter Quill to meet with, uh, meet . Star Lord Carol Danvers also does her arrival, this is kind of cool and I like how Jerry Dugan does it because he really doesn't pull any punches with Gamora's character and the reason is because she is extremely capable, I want say.
She has super street strength, superhuman speed and durability and all that different stuff, and while she's not necessarily a pound-for-pound rival for Carol Danvers or at least she doesn't look like she would be, she really amplifies her powers. . a little bit and she actually says yes, now of course this also comes in the form of me wielding the power stone and that gives a kind of boost to the energy that she had before. Remember that the power stone is basically like power given form, that is, energy. projections of superhuman strength, anything involving a power based element would allow a person to amplify their abilities several times over, which also seems to have a limited range because infinity stones are not finite stones, infinity stones are literally infinite and So wielding the power stone gives you infinite power.
Hitting Carol Danvers and knocking her unconscious. It seems pretty simple. This, of course, leads Thor to throw the hammer at him. Captain America throws her shield and everyone seeks to try to confront Gamora and eliminate her. This is actually it. Cool moment here, it's one of the coolest moments ever and Jerry Dugan really pulls a rabbit out of his hat. The way this happens is that you end up having Carol Danvers grab Gamora and beat her up. in space now Carol Danvers, depending on the story, depending on the circumstances, can tap into her binary powers occasionally and it will allow her to breathe in space and different things like that, when she blows Gamora into the air, it hits her again beautifully. because her oxygen is very scarce and the result is that she basically makes her go down, but mind you she's great because you end up having dr. weird who's going to tie up Goo is going to tie up Gamora and that's basically the end of that and of course she's basically tied up but then she starts typing in Morse code and Captain America immediately realizes this and It's then that he realizes that they've basically changed, it's actually Carol Danvers who is lying on the ground and it's Gamora who essentially, you know, appears as Carol Danvers and the reason is because Gamora has the reality stone, this It's one of the coolest uses of the Reality Stone in Marvel Comics history because you never really see it used on a small scale, you never really see someone distort reality in such a way that they look like someone else and when Gamora realizes that Captain America understands what's going on, she simply says "I really got it." I don't want it to happen this way, all you had to do was play along and not ask questions from there.
Gamora single-handedly dismantled the entire Avengers team, took them apart piece by piece and this is really like a love letter to the Gamora fan saying: hey, look, she's as dangerous as you think, even though that, you know, it's falling by the wayside after the events of Annihilation Conquest, even though it hasn't really been relevant for was essentially like 12 years. She's really been more of a background character, a side character, she's still incredibly dangerous and she's still incredibly capable in terms of her abilities and it's cool to see because you end up having Adam Warlock who gets his head cut off because Gomorrah knows he's going to do it. . you just continually fight over and over again the black widow that jumps at you you end up having like a black panther that appears and then it just freezes time and stops everything and says it's all done and then of course you know you end up having Thanos who appears to him for a moment and what she does is basically, you know, once she gets the soul stone from Adam Warlock, she opens a portal to the world of souls, now again, this is interesting here because this is again Jerry Dugan. really got the idea right and created a story by just saying that Gomorrah wasn't really as free as he thought as we thought he was now again, he's also changing the nature of the soul stone in the sense that what he seems to be doing Here I am saying that unlike years past where there was a soul world within the soul stone and the soul world was universal meaning everyone saw the same thing and could interact with each other, it would be like walking through the city of New York instead of the inside of the The soul stone seems to be relative to the person who is in it and therefore no one can interact with anyone else because they are in their own individual version of the soul world and that is probably what you're going to end up seeing basically with the events of Infinity War what you're going to end up having here is what amounts to generations of marble combined with the events of the soul world and then like the tape or the Nexus or whatever the generations of Star Trek, that terrible movie, oh, you are.
You'll have this scenario where like you have all these who died in Infinity War, they're most likely in their own individual soul world and they might not want to leave, they might think it's like you're actually an absolute reality, so again. It's kind of cool and it's kind of intriguing because it almost turns me on to, you know, unlimited possibilities, but when Gomorrah fuses with itself, his response is now I'm going to use the Infinity Stones. to gather them and I will use them for a singular purpose, at which point Loki appears and says I actually have a much better idea of how these things can be used effectively, okay, so let's pick up again with Infinity Wars, the third delivery.
Infinity Wars Part 3 This really seems like it ruins the ending of Avengers 4, although probably not, but a good plus has the Infinity Stones now again, this is strange when it comes to being scared more, she has always been solid as always has been. It's been pretty smooth, but it seems like such a sudden change, it's a little strange to see your change like that, but the idea is that she's wielding all the Infinity Stones and basically Loki had been trying to find some way to negotiate with her now. . The funny thing is that because Gomorrah has been the round, she's been around the block more than a few times, so she's familiar, not very familiar with Loki, but she's familiar with people like Loki, so We are lucky that the puppy is just friendly. whispering these honeyed words and stuff, she immediately sees through it because the loci's goal is to figure out what's going on here in terms of how to basically stop everything that's happening because when he understood us he received a vision, I guess really when he encountered an alternate reality version of himself, we end up finding out that this battle is being fought, this exact type of battle is being fought throughout the multiverse and in fact, the way this plays out if The type of essence of Stannis or his invisible spirit, you know it's consciousness or whatever it seems to Cumorah, help with the Infinity stones, you could look at other universes and see if this is true now, this is new, this is not something we've seen never.
Before the Infinity Stones historically never allowed anyone to do anything that wouldn't affect other universes, it doesn't work that way, that was really solidified during Hickman's Avengers and the New Avengers when Captain America tried to power through another universe. and destroy the gems in the process, so it's just one of those things where Italia allows you to manipulate and control the fundamental forces of a particular universe, so it's really like Jerry Dugan cooking up the books a bit noir for tell the story. but it works because when they appear in another universe there is a character known as Requiem, but it is not Gamora, it is someone completely different, who that person is has never been revealed to us, but Gamora herself really ignores this and says: "I don't ".
I don't really care, that has nothing to do with me. I am controlling this universe right now. This universe is the only one that worries me. This is a great thing because, under normal circumstances, someone else may have gone. research like someone like Thor or someone like Captain America or someone like that, even a villain like Ultron could have been like that, if I can look at other universes, I can conquer other universes and just go from there, butto Gamora she is very direct, very ruthless and very straight and narrow, so in this circumstance I'm basically only concerned with what I can see and what I can do here.
I won't be distracted by anything else, which is kind of cool because after that, she basically frees everyone from the time stone because they've basically been frozen in time this whole time, she frees everyone from the time stone. and then he says that all of you will end up getting in my way. folding space back on itself now, we're not really, that's kind of crazy, we're not given a motivation for why she's really doing all this, she just is and that's why it's kind of crazy because her quest for infinity stones really that the soul stone seemed to be based on the idea that she was trying to reclaim a part of herself that had always been trapped there since Adam Warlock and the patrol first entered and that made sense now that she's just doing it for the sake of it and there doesn't really seem to be a reason why she's just folding the universe in half because whatever story needs to be told, it's a little strange that she's the one doing it.
This is all a bit of a strange scenario, but anyway, and I'm basically saying that you guys have more or less become a nuisance to yourselves as superheroes, I'm going to fold the universe in on itself and then whatever happens, whatever happens happens. that she does. What I don't foresee is that they will all start to merge with each other. Jerry Dugan is really taking a page from the old amalgam comics, those guys who don't know what that is back in the day, Marvel and DC had a couple of different crossovers, you had Marvel vs. DC and then you had jla/avengers Justice League of America and the Avengers.
The versus DC model was actually the best. Jla/Avengers was fine, but what you ended up coming out of that was that you basically had an amalgamation and it was a universe where the heroes merged where you had a dark claw that was Batman and Wolverine. merged into one person, different things like that and it was great for what it was, but this is kind of a page out of that, the difference here is that it's strictly isolated from the Marvel comics and therefore these characters They are really relegated. and they are like confined. The first person that we end up meeting in this kind of new universe here is really like Captain America and Doctor Strange, really soaked in, you know, soldier Steven Rogers, who have merged into a singular being together and is. something great because this creates a whole universe in itself.
Now this is very House of M in terms of how this all happens. The difference here between this story in his house and his House of M was so much more. complex, it was much larger, it was much deeper and there was a lot more going on there. I mean, you read like the main house of his stories, it's like seven issues or six issues or having a lot of problems is maybe like 12. I can't, we're out of my head, you read all the links that you're starting, where you You're getting into the 150-number range and the links expand everything they give you. like this whole House of M universe, the whole reality and how everything had changed and all that and it was pretty good for what it was, it was reminiscent of Age of Apocalypse or something, but for Gamora she actually didn't expect this to happen. , I actually didn't expect the characters to merge and this is a small but notable thing because what it means is that Gamora didn't consider all the extremes and that makes sense because when it comes to someone like Fan O, he goes crazy.
He has been in control of absolute power many times, but he has also lived for so long. Thanos is all these thousands of years old, even when you're talking about someone who's that old, if you're talking about a guy who's been through everything. the universe that has had a lot of time to expand its knowledge, expand its experience and that comes to the table with something more than just I want to have the Infinity Stones and I want to wipe out half the life in the universe, maybe you have a guy that you have like There's a lot more motivation and it's a lot more complex and deeper than that, so you can see things from perspectives that Becca Moore couldn't consider because she hasn't had the experience to give her a reason to consider it, so it's kind of cool because from there you end up having Loki, who basically says look what you have there, you have the God, you know, at the far end of the universe, you have the court of God below, which is the quarry of creation and is basically a The new concept really seems to come up with the idea that all the universes that exist in our comics come from the quarry of creation.
Now we don't really know what it is, we don't know how all this works. I don't know what process it's for and we'll find out as the story goes on, but it's cool because from here I haven't been able to take another look at this universe that she basically created and observe everything that's going on. We have Iron Man and Thor merging into one, you have Black Panther and Ghost Rider merging Black Panthers riding like a real Panther which looks pretty badass, you have what looks like Scarlet Witch and x-23 homers, it's something like that. kinda cool, it actually looks pretty impressive and it sucks, it's so ephemeral.
I mean, we got over the Infinity warps that give you the history of all those characters and so on, which we'll cover, but still with Loki trying to do more. or less scam in the passage of the book with Gamora to be able to access the god quarry and the creation quarry, ultimately, Gamora leaves it aside and her answers you don't come here because you have doubts, you are a person who cheats on you a person who cannot be believed and ultimately believe that your bases are close or that your entire distance is not a Farias and that is why Loki himself is confined to this new universe now is something strange because the way he does this not I don't know exactly how Gamora resides, if the universe has folded in on itself that would mean she folded along with it, but there is no indication that she is outside the universe and if that is true, if she is outside the universe, then things get difficult. a little complicated because at that point, technically speaking, the infinity stones should turn off, they should just stop working and she's just a person floating around in Oblivion, so it's a little strange in terms of how this happens, but again, the other half of this could very well be, the universe itself isn't folded correctly, she just ruined all the heroes, which serves its purpose and works for what it is, but from there you basically end up with her traveling to the god quarry along with the guy you basically meet more or less Loki the chronicler and then you end up having Loki travel straight to go see the x-men.
Now this is where Loki returns to his normal self and goes to visit what's going on. for the x-men here and he actually encounters a group of duplicates, now the pool is a combination of duplicate and Deadpool and the duplicate is amazing. I love the duplicate, he's like this Omega level character that was never fully developed and had all types. of crazy powers, he was part of X statics for a while, but doop doop is awesome because of everything. I love doop, but he's like Wolverines, the only one who gets it like he's one of the craziest things.
Wolverines, the only one who can understand. No one understands his language, but Dube is incredible, I love Duke's character. I feel like we should make a character, make a video about him, you know, like cover his origin story or something. from Duke, I don't know if he really has a definitive origin or not, I guess we should look it up, but still, with Loki showing up to meet Wolverine, we end up finding out that this is basically Wolverine and Emma Frost merged into one singular person. which is a little weird because you'd think it would be frozen in Cyclops, but it's basically Wolverine and Emma Frost fused into one singular person, which means it's all of Wolverine's abilities combined with Omega Level Telepathy, this super powerful telepathy. from Emma.
Frost, which is cool because when he falls he scans Loki's mind Emma Frost, I guess really Wolverine realizes that Loki is telling the truth, but he finally closes the door and the faces say: I don't want anything to do with what what's going on. here you know, let the sleeping dogs lie down, let our universe be what it is, so again it seems very House of M in the sense that Wolverine has no idea how things are supposed to be, instead of That just says, well, you know, this is the universe as it's always been the difference is that in the house of the universe Wolverine woke up realizing that things weren't right as he woke up realizing that things aren't right. like they're supposed to be and he was a way to do it.
It's a business to write it into the story, but here it seems that Wolverine, along with everyone else, is totally aware of what is happening, as if he is totally aware of the fact that, like this, reality seems to be an absolute truth, not knows nothing outside of it. That's a cool and interesting thing, but again it's up to Loki to try to find some way to basically save the universe from him and, you know, put him back to the way he's supposed to be, he's a little crazy. but I honestly have no idea what direction it's going to go, so we're entering part 4 of Infinity Wars and again, this is kind of interesting, this is issue 4, it's a little strange, it's more like plot construction, but It's a little crazy because In truth, it feels a little rushed the jury that Dugan makes here, he actually takes a couple of concepts from House of M.
A lot of people know that House of M is right. It's a story where Scarlet Witch screams reality and then creates a new one. one and then it actually removes a current reality and then creates a new one where, like all the most subconscious dreams, they essentially come true, but in this one, Gomorrah with the Infinity Stones had basically fused all of these heroes together, so between quotes, cut the population of the universe in half. like merging people and then throwing them all into the soul world and then creating like a whole universe within the soul world, as it was kind of interesting because initially Dugan didn't really seem to explain that traditionally the soul world is like his own world, I guess. it has rivers, streams, mountains, etc., and so on, and it was always depicted a certain way, then Marvel came back later and basically turned the Sol world into the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of the Snow world, and what happened here is it was like Gamora sent all these characters to the soul world and then built a house in the soul world and then put them all inside the house so they don't really know what the soul world is like, like they're not really there. familiar with it and say that We all simply reside in this universe that she added there now by merging them all together.
Marvel gave us Infinity Warps at the end of the day, it wasn't really meant to be taken seriously and I may or may not cover it. I don't really know, I mean, I don't really care that much about the characters, so in Infinity Warps, but one of the characters that was or really a couple of characters that were merged here were Wolverine and Emma Frost and of course, we talk about that. in the last video, in which Wolverine and Emma Frost merged, there is Wolverine's telepathy with Emma Frost and initially Loki was one of the characters that had been thrown into this universe when everything, when, when Gamora changed everything, so Look, he was. as the only person who really knew what was going on, but in this case with Loki talking directly to Wolverine, it's kind of like Wolverine had scanned his mind, he basically read his mind to see what was going on, not only that . one of the things that Jerry Dugan presents here is something called Devon Drew and Ondra is essentially this object or this concept is created for the purpose of consuming the occupants of the soul world now again this is Jerry Dugan inventing things or at least creating new things because remember that the soul world was a very peaceful place, don't you know?
Contrary to the way a person would come to war in Seoul, that is why this soul stone would literally divert his soul away from him until everything was fine. was absorbed and then his soul resided in the soul world proper and this Devolder is something like that, this being that was created by Gamora or has always existed and we'll talk more about the underplay world and you know regarding the history. here in a moment, but like Devon Nerdist shows up where at least one of Devon draw's aspects shows up and of course it's basically fought with the combined efforts of Loki, Wolverine and Emma Frost together, and then what happens?
What happens is that in the middle of all this you end up having Wolverine, who you meet. Diamond Patchy basically says look I'll send a thought to myself, you all will remind me of something so I thought of a version of myself in the future of this universe that basically merges with the phoenix force now this isn't new this It's not Jerry Dugan just grabbing him out of nowhere this is actually happening in the Thor comics, the Thor comics.Mighty Thor as a backup feature, but still, with this version showing up out of nowhere it's like, hey, look, you know I could basically fix this for you or at least you know how to break up Wolverine and Emma Frost and then go from there now , this is your Remake kind of like playing fast and loose with the Phoenix, the Phoenix's power has always been ambiguous for those of you who are new to Marvel, the Phoenix's powers are really one of those worst things, just like any right that a writer wants to have over the force of the Phoenix. do is what the Phoenix force can do, its power is technically unlimited, as if it were something that has been established over the years, the other half of this is the Phoenix force or at least this future version of Wolverine with the Phoenix force also has the power. stone and that's one of the things that succeed here and that's where you get a little bit of Secret Wars and a little bit of a house of them brought here and there since in Secret Wars you had an affinity gauntlet that was assembled because of the event of In the Secret Wars, the battle world basically treated it as if all of these different universes were housed together, so it was a different Infinity Stone from the various universes that came together to create a unifying Infinity Gauntlet in this For example, if you creates a new universe, then a new set of Infinity Stones has to exist in that universe.
Now I remember it originally didn't work that way when it came to the Infinity Stones in Thanos' quest stories. The phallus had basically established the origin of the Infinity stones as if some being existed before all things and was alone and then, you know, it basically channeled its energy or love faster. Of its energy into the Infinity stones and the scattered throughout the universe and then that moves into future Marvel stories where each universe has its own Infinity Gauntlet and the Infinity God will only work in that universe, this changes the entire basis behind it. Infinity Wars changes it completely and says that the Reality Stone will actually allow you to jump from one universe to the next, which technically isn't supposed to happen, so again it's Jerry Dugan changing things up, but with the stone. of power is used for this. it allows him to again amplify his own power and manipulate the powers of others and although it is a bit of an exaggeration here, Jerry Dugan uses us to say that a person with the power stone can divide those who fused to divide him, and so on. it's kind of like Ari from House of M just like the house of an event basically set up like a new universe was created, no one remembered how things were supposed to be except Wolverine and then Wolverine basically woke up like that, alright, along Leila Miller woke up Emma.
Frost Emma Frost is using her telepathy to wake up other people and that led you to know that her house was changed back to the main moral universe in the scholar, which took away all of the mutants' powers or at least 98% of them. the powers of the mutant populations. really invokes those things and incorporates them, it's just one of those things where stories build on each other in that capacity, now after this with the Power Stone given to Loki, Emma Frost takes it because it's like I I don't trust you, man, and there's no reason why she wouldn't just do it.
Wolverine basically goes to open the refrigerator and another aspect of D'von Drew appears and this is one of the things that Jerry Dugan doesn't really explain. He doesn't really tell us if Devon Dray is more of a hive mind concept, you know, we're all Devon draws all these different spider, soul-eating entities that exist out there or just Devon drew it's like a hive mind. exists in different aspects or if there really is one that Devon drew there and these are all like fractions of itself, we're not really given an explanation for that, but the rain of wool confronts these things and then basically seems to be devoured. and then you have Emma Frost, who takes the Power Stone while she and Loki basically walk away.
Now at this point we switch to Gamora, where everything that happens with Lisa that we've talked about so far takes place in the Alma world where Gamora is. in the alternate universe in this alternate reality, this is one that we talked about before, where this alternate universe version of Loki had basically managed to access or at least pick up Thor's hammer and then he is powered by all the Infinity Stones, the difference here seems to be like Gamora taking Thor's hammer, which is interesting to see that she is worthy, but it is a bit of manipulating the numbers, we know for example in Jonathan Hickman's Avengers of New Avengers that not all of Thor's hammers and all the universes are the same ones we saw as a different universe where there was a version of Thor that wasn't worthy and the hammer was made for an unworthy Thor so we've seen them move and change a bit but Gamora taking Thor's hammer seems give him the advantage. in this version of Loki and in turn she enters a taxon and of course kills him in the process now in this alternate reality in the previous video we had also talked about how he had file evaluation and we had moon dragon and I want to offer a little more explanation about these characters, in Marvel Comics you originally had the original Captain Marvel of the Kree Empire and he was popular for a while, but when his popularity started to decline, Marvel killed him off in 1984 with himself. -Title Book of Death which was written by Jim Starlin and after there really wasn't a Captain Marvel for a few years, I mean you had Monica Rambeau who took up the mantle and then after her you had the genus Val and Judas felt like he was Well, I mean he wasn't really as cool as Captain Marvel, it was great that he basically tried to find a way to replace the original Marvel for the most part, they didn't really seem to enjoy the character until you came along.
It featured a valve and the way this happened was that in 2004, as part of Asada's big prank plan to rework Marvel Comics entirely, what they did was they had the fourth volume of the Marvel series starring Genus Val, He went crazy and was manipulated. by cosmic entities and then as a recreated reality and in this new universe that was created you essentially ended up having like the version of you know, Alyssia. I think it's Alyssia or Elysium, who originally created the vile genus, who created another version called Phi Laval and therefore, as a result of this, you had two versions in the same universe and then when everything went back to normal, Phi Lavelle came with him and that was basically Morrow, he is the one who returns in a new Captain Marvel with the intention of killing units.
Val and have phyla vel take over for herself, that was mobile comics' way of introducing a new version of the character who was headed for annihilation, Dan Abnett's idea of consolidating the entire Marvel landscape, the entire landscape cosmic model that came with annihilation, so that's why you liked a lot of those huge cosmic reaches that were happening with annihilation annihilation conquers the restoration of the Nova Corps that its annihilation completes and so on, that's why, oh, that story is so uniquely important, but Father Vale was very very very very popular really she still depends on, you know, at least in certain circles now, of course, the moon dragon has a much deeper history than Phi Laval.
The moon dragon is Heather Douglas, she is the daughter of Drax, a destroyer, and was believed to have been killed when Thanos first appeared on Earth to access the Cosmic Cube and killed Arthur Douglas, who is resurrected as Drax for the purpose. to kill Thanos. Heather was taken to a high place by Thanos' father and then raised to be someone who could defeat him, she is one of the most powerful telepathic characters in Marvel Comics, but she died a long time ago, she died and it really won't be long during the events of Annihilation Conquest. was killed, but the fact is that to her and the ELQ file they were a romantic couple, like they were together, they had a very strong chemistry, which is one of the things that wasn't seen that often in Marvel at that time and People really enjoyed it, but again, you know, expounding enough on these two characters, what Jerry Dugan does is he actually plays it pretty cleverly due to the fact that Lavelle is missing the reality stone and you end up having like Gamora. who reads her mind with the intention of finding her location and then in turn, as the moon dragon, engages in this telepathic battle and the result is that Gamora learns the location of the reality stone and then the moon dragons more or less overpowered and then in an effort to try and destroy Elle's file Gamora jumps into the conflict and ultimately of course Gamora emerges victorious which leads to both the moon dragon and Elle's file using their disposition to basically breaking a complete fissure. in the alternate reality and then enter the soul world.
Now the question is why does this matter, because it's kind of a backdoor for Jerry Dugan to bring these characters back to basically say okay, so now they're in the soul world. when, quote, everything rewinds, they'll bring it back, presumably they'll bring it back, but after this, it really becomes Emma Frost and Loki just traveling around and waking people up, so of course Kamala Khan missed Marvel, who was . fused with Kang the Conqueror, some kind of time-traveling villain, The Incredible Hulk, who fused with Ant-Man, so he's like a mini Hulk, we're kind of cool, he talks so much trash and he's like three inches tall. high, but again like you know, when they break up, it's one of those things that was like Infinity Warps lasted a very, very short time.
Now Lucky's plan is to create not really a new infinity clock, but to bring back people who are particularly suited to wield the Infinity Stones, each of them is going to wield an infinity stone and that's something to keep in mind. , the Infinity stones are not in tune, it's not that those individuals who are really strong telepaths are the most suitable for the mind stone, those individuals who are like magic wielders who are suitable for the reality stone, it would be great if the mod would line them up that way, but that was never really the case, it was kind of like, hey man, you get an infinity stone, you get to be part of the Infinity Clock and it's like its lightning bolt, you know, and that's it, but again, you know, once they leave this kind of pocket dimension within the one world and then travel to the soul world, Adam warlocks basically get eaten by one of these. giant spiders and Scott Lang does tricks, he jumps into the spider which rises to a gigantic size and then frees Adam Warlock in the process, it's quite fast and in response to this, Emma Frost stands up, is what we mean by more people as if we need more people. to fight alongside us and then she basically starts waking up, she's actually contacting all these people and infinity warps and then she just takes them all to the end of the larger conflict and we don't really know what the basis behind this is.
We can largely assume that he's building an army and then he'll split them all up and double their numbers back to what they were before that kind of thing, but again, it's a lot like House of Em in that sense, absorbing characters. who they're really separating them from and so on and from there you go to Gomorrah and you bloom again, you meet the guy who's from Asgard and you basically like go to the well of creation and when they get there, what we end up learning. here it is that from d'amours perspective, this dove entity andra, the being of Andra that does not seem like she created, will basically pass through and consume all of these souls within this dimension in the soul world and when she is satiated with hunger, it will.
It basically spins up a new universe, so it's a little strange here and doesn't really seem to make much sense, it seems like Jerry Duggars is just telling the story for the sake of telling it, huh, but when this new universe is created. Gomorrah will, in turn, enter it and then take control of it and then create it according to her own whims and desires, which really begs the question of why she didn't do that with the universe existing within the soul world. . I have no idea that the story has to be told. I have no real idea here again, it may be one of those things that the guy is going through and then it will be like the final issue is some kind of tell-all. terms of what's all going on here, but it's very confusing, it's very hidden, it's really all over the place and this one seems to just be spinning its wheels, ah, but again, you know, what we end up having is that with Devon or happening because of this and she's consuming all these souls again as normal human beings within this dimension and world of souls there with a lot of the superheroes basically making it out alive, we end up having like Gamora is waiting for her. time and simply waiting for Devon Drayton to finish what he is doing, at which point the entire set of events is being observed bythe observers.
Now we really don't know what this means. Again, there are many unanswered questions in this story that we don't know. I don't know if the Watchers are here just for the purpose of seeing how things play out, we don't know if they're actually going to act because remember when the Watchers show up in Marvel Comics it's basically like something huge is about to happen. It will be like this big paradigm shift, but we don't really know what it means. You actually walk towards the observers. He's been dead since the events of original sin, so there's one here that actually looks exactly like we're seeing the one who comes with the fire.
Outside of his head, he looks exactly like the one looking at him, which means that this version may have returned or is simply a completely different version of his character. We really don't know many unanswered questions. This seems like one of those stories at best. Writing for the sake of writing is like putting everything back together, so it's like, hey, what if Infinity Gauntlet ended with a reboot more or less like what if we were supposed to do after the Secret Wars events? and actually restarting the universe, we don't know if that's the case, it's a little strange in terms of how this is all happening, but again you know it's one of those stories, the worst is something informative in the middle, not really a lot of things happen. and we're just prepared for what's to come so we pick up with infinity

wars

part 5 again in this part we really pick up on this in the soul worlds now again these guys are all fighting vondre and again this is kind of a new intro here from jerry Dugan and that's one of the crazy things is that a lot of things are being changed here, that's one of the things we talked about in the previous videos is that a lot of things are being changed here so the world will never look like this now.
Of course, we can basically attribute this to the fact that Marvel Marvel Comics is now copying the Marvel Cinematic Universe instead of the Marvel Cinematic Universe copying Marvel Comics, but the general gist here is that with Devon drah it's basically this entity that exists to get through. and consume everything inside the soul world, which is a little strange because from what we've gathered so far, Gamora has basically acquired the soul stones for herself to recreate the universe, but to do this or take out the heroes of the road, you can find them all. to the world of souls and then accidentally merging them all in the first place, which begs the question of why you didn't just wipe them all out with an assault with the Infinity Stones you know with the Infinity Gauntlet, probably because we already saw The Annals do that once and I guess you can't make the same joke twice, but still, while that whole fight between the fused heroes on Ondra goes on, you end up making Emma Frost miss Marvel Kane the Conqueror Ant-Man Scott Lang.
Loki and the Incredible Hulk, who were on a mission of their own, now we don't know the details of this mission, it's just one of the things where Emma Frost says, "Hey, we have to go to this particular location." Now, that's one of the things to keep in mind here. Jerry Dugan makes it like there's a lot of hand waving in terms of why things happen the same way. Emma Frost walks into this place. How do all these things develop? It's more or less good, I mean you. I know they are and that's something they have to follow, but the places they travel to is basically where you have the girl Gamora hanging out now again, we don't know how the girl Gamora got here, from what ravines here what .
We were told here from what we seemed so far that the previous version of Gamora, who was confined to a single world, she was there because in the old school comics, when you had Adam Warlock and Pip the Troll, and Gomorrah , which operated as a sort of The early days of Infinity Watch, when they were confined to the Sol world. Nick Amor, when she left, had left a part of herself behind, so it made sense that it would work that way and always It has been like this why the girl Gomorrah is here. We're not entirely sure, but the explanation is offered almost immediately and that's kind of interesting, what we end up discovering is that when Gomorrah basically took all the heroes and put them inside the Sol world, that included a part of herself. a part of herself now again is one of the things that Gomorrah didn't really seem to recognize, she didn't really seem to notice and again there was a little hand waving here, but one of the things we have is a child.
Gomorrah playing with a set of Infinity stones. Now this is new. It's actually Jerry Dugan, he's just cooking up the books a little bit and that's one of the things to keep in mind again. We've talked about this in previous videos, but when it comes down to it. for the infinity stones, they only work in their own universe and one universe only has one set of infinity stones, the Marvel Cinematic Universe only has one set of infinity stones, the main Marvel Universe only has one set of infinity stones , the ultimate universe, all these different ones. In alternate realities, there is no universe in Marvel Comics where you have more than one set of Infinity Stones, but due to the fact that Gamora had basically created a sort of duplicate, so to speak, of the main Marvel Universe and then threw it all away to the soul. world that came with the infinity stones too, so he basically created new stones using existing infinity stones that aren't supposed to happen, you know, it's like wishing for more wishes when it comes to a genie, it sure is a good idea to have him. , but in At the End of the Day, it's not something you can really do from there.
Loki ends up basically scattering the Infinity Stones among the various members of the team in what is really like this ramshackle infinity clock. Now it's kind of interesting here because what Loki says. It's these stones, the Infinity stones themselves don't work the way they're normally supposed to, they're a little bit different than what we're used to and so what it's basically saying is that what we would normally expect. that Emma Frost got. the Mind Stone because she's a high-level telepath, but we'd expect the Incredible Hulk to get the Power Stone because it simply draws infinite strength.
Instead, Loki begins to change things. He says that actually Emma Stone or Emma Frost will get a different stone. Incredible Hulks will make it, you know, they will become like the space stone, different things like that, everything will change from the normal status quo because each stone has a particular purpose and therefore what seems to be happening here as Loki strikes. the idea that they are there is basically getting the stones because they have a purpose rather than something that would inherently be built with your own power, which again is kind of part of the status quo, but it still doesn't work.
It's just that these stones, because they basically manipulate the universe, they basically allow you to leave the soul world now, in truth, that is possible, it is completely possible, for example, if you had the Infinity stone, the space stone, you could use it to enter Asgard if you wanted to, that's entirely possible. As one of these, keep in mind that what you have if you imagine like a plate, for example, you know that you like a plate of food and on that plate you have that plate is like the main Marvel Universe. then on that plate you have Asgard and you have Olympus where the Greek gods live and you have the kingdom of Dormammu using the space stone you can go anywhere in that universe you can jump and jump to any place within the kingdom that the universe goes from one dimension to another, we've never seen anyone do that before because the story never required it, but it's completely possible and within the possibility of those Infinity Stones achieving it and that's why in this particular story While the Infinity Stones are used, they originate from the soul world, the O soul world itself is still part of the universe, so they are basically within a dimension within the main Marvel Universe, they can simply leave that dimension and return to the main universe.
Marvel Universe and that's exactly what they do, they immediately enter the realm of Gamora who is basically hanging out in the creation quarry fighting, you know, Phi Lavelle and the moon dragon, of course this leads to the arrival of Emma Frost and so on. Next, everyone who starts facing Gamora now, under normal circumstances, would never be able to stop her, would never be able to defeat Gamora because of the stones she wields, but because they have Infinity Stones that make them equal to her, so what it is this? Now it means they can use them for her.
You know, they can literally start going toe-to-toe with her and eventually get on top of her. This is also something very important to keep in mind. Here is that when it comes to Infinity. stones just because a person owns them doesn't mean they can use them to their full potential that's one of the big differences one of the things Thanos deals with during the original story Jim's star gauntlet Thanos has been around for a long time. for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, he has been around for a very long time, he has acquired all kinds of knowledge about a wide range of different things and therefore, by using his intelligence when he accesses the Infinity Gauntlet, he is able to use it to its full potential. .
Because it is so durable that it could withstand the extreme power it possesses, it will not go crazy when manipulating reality using the reality stone that was established here in the events of Thanos' quest when he first obtained the gauntlet in the first time we started passing. and tracking down the stones, but then you look at someone like Parker Robbins, you look at someone like 20 Stark, you look at members of the infinite clock like Hulk or someone like that and they can't really use the stone to its full potential because in the truth is they just They're not smart enough, they really don't have the mental faculties to pull it off.
Someone like Reed Richards could do it. You know, we've seen him wield the Infinity Gauntlet, but again you know, to someone like Gamora, she's me. I mean she's not stupid, but she's certainly not on the same level as Thanos in terms of intellect or the ability needed to wield the full mite of the Infinity Gauntlet, so while she can do some pretty impressive things, she doesn't use the stones. in that sense. 100% she's using it probably like 70 or 80 percent or something as a result she's able to defend herself, but if it was Thanos in this situation, she would have destroyed them all, she would have found a way to destroy Emma.
Frost. and all those different characters and they wouldn't have wiped out, you know, quick and in a hurry, so again, Gamora gets overpowered pretty easily and it's cool to see the Incredible Hulk with a space rock, literally, like he rips her apart, like he just would fly basically and throw it at everything, but the other half of this is remembering that Loki has a mission of his own, basically capturing, you know, recreating flour malt nearby or at least getting a linear version of me and getting Infinity himself from him. stones you know get the infinity stones for himself and that's what he does while everyone confronts Gamora.
What Loki does is start traveling and basically snatching the Infinity Stones from people, basically like patting them down and tricking people into thinking he's the one. he just works on her side, he steals from Miss Marvel, he steals from Scott Lang, he does the same thing he came to conquer and Emma Frost literally takes all of his Infinity Stones and then teleports and so on and then it's just okay, then one The world is happening here not only that when Loki gets to whatever dimension he's in, you know, inside what appears to be this creation quarry, it's lined with Infinity stones, there's a ton of Infinity stones in there, like that. that again the plot becomes complicated, we do not do it.
I really know exactly what is happening here, you know that this is some kind of creation quarry like the multiverse, but we don't really know to what extent all this is starting to develop, not only that the stones themselves are powerless inside. the creation quarry, so again this seems to exist outside of the multiverse, which makes sense. You know, I don't know how you actually create the multiverse while you're inside it. You have to be outside of it. verse or something so it was kind of a queue here again things are left pretty ambiguous we basically ended up picking up Drax a destroyer with Arthur Douglas but this is when he was in his human form now if those you guys weren't familiar with This, the character of Drax, a destroyer, was a guy named Arthur Moon Dry and is his biological daughter named Heather.
The way this originally played out in Marvel Comics was that Thanos had launched an invasion against Earth and when he did so, he had encountered Drax, a destroyer, and the destroyer encountered Arthur and destroyed his car in the process and when that happened, Arthur was dead. Heather was believed to have been dead and, therefore,of course the wife was killed and what ended up happening here is we basically had Heather who was taken by the OHS fan's father and then her telepathy was essentially unlocked and she was trying to become one of the most powerful telepaths in Marvel Comics and then you ended up having Arthur Douglas, who was basically resurrected. from the dead by Chronos the god because I guess one of the cosmic entities and in turn transformed into Drax a destroyer and with the sole purpose basically of tracking down Thanos and destroying him, this situation does not develop in the same way that they crash against a tree, but when they do, the tree clumps together and that's when Arthur basically starts saying things like I know this tree, I know this guy, so he's basically having flashbacks of his life as Drax the Destroyer, so again this It seems to take place within the world of the soul. but it's very, very ambiguous, there's a lot of cloak-and-dagger stuff going on here, we don't really know exactly what's going on, it's very, very far-fetched, it's really out there and even a little confusing, but it's kind of interesting.
It's one of those Jerry-type stories where it's like things are happening and like you have to read the next issue to find out what is, of course, the ending again. It's a little crazy watching this whole scenario play out. from Wow to see how it all plays out, but let me know what you think in the comments section, okay, so let's jump back to the events of Infinity Wars for you guys to catch up with for a second. Basically what's happening here is that we only really have like three worlds right now, from the perspective of this story we're only dealing with three universes, there are still an infinite number of universes out there, but from this perspective we're only dealing with three universes at this moment, the main one.
The Marvel Universe has really been wiped out in its entirety, then you have the world of souls and then of course you have the creation quarry and again, as we've talked about this in the previous videos before, that with the world of souls souls was never like that. So it was never a complete universe, like the soul world was like a little pocket dimension, like imagine you lived in a universe the size of New York City and that's basically what the soul world was, it was a small space located inside. of the soul stone and it was kept small because so few people used it that the space needed to house them was always very, very small, but I thought you meant that Loki had basically taken the Infinity stones as they existed in the true sorry in the main mobile universe and I basically stole them all in Soul World, but you also have a second set of Infinity stones that reside within the soul world and so what basically happened here is that with Loki taking these stones and then setting off with the purpose of trying to achieve whatever larger goal was with us, we were never really told what it was as soon as he goes out into the main Marvel Universe, what we end up finding out is that there is nothing there anymore and that all you've really heard is kind of this huge, vast empty space and then you have the Celestials themselves and the Celestials never speak and that's one. one of the things to keep in mind when it comes to Celestials in Marvel Comics and that's why when Loki heads out, they may never speak to him and instead one of them simply points in a particular direction.
Loki goes and looks. He looked in a mirror. We don't see what Loki sees, since that is never offered to us as an explanation. Basically, you know, he pulls back the tapestry and sees what's in store for him and then he basically gives up, basically gives up and says yes. that's it and it's kind of lackluster it actually makes sense if that's something that's revealed later but it's not Loki just pulls back the tapestry and just goes oh yeah so this is basically like zero sum and then he walks away and it really looks like more the way Jiri Duggan just says, "Okay, we have to wrap this up somehow and we can't really explore what happens with Loki, so we'll just throw it out and be done." and then Loki will leave and that will be it, so essentially he returns with the soul stones from the world of souls, you know, because of course they work within that localized space and they work within the quarry of creation and when brings them back, they're basically given to what's left of Adam Warlock's infinite surveillance team and then Loki jumps on his boat and then he just sails back to the omnipotent city and that's the end, it's a little strange, It really seems to come from the left. field, but the fact is that coming back to the soul world again, Devon drew, that's an interesting thing, there's one of the interesting things about jury duty, is he very much taking a page from Jim Starlin and what what i mean here is that for years and years for decades Galactus just had this hunger and most of the time Galactus' hunger was attributed to the fact that he was born from a dead universe to a new one and the role he plays are two main basic aaliyan , sure, but since the Celestial population doesn't go unchecked when they plant their seeds there inside a planet so that planet gives birth to a new Celestial Galactus goes around and consumes planets so that the Celestials don't just plant their seeds everywhere. and then you have a universe invaded by Celestials when Jim Starlin came along and wrote the Thanos miniseries, what he established was that Galactus' hunger was actually like an entity from another dimension, now it was a terrible story, it was a terrible idea, but jury.
What he did was take a page from that by saying that the reason the soul stone is hungry for souls is because it houses the being that Devon drew and that has never really been explained up to this point, it was just the being that he drew. Devon. and we were never really given an explanation of what Andra's world plays like outside of the fact that she just consumes everything inside and what seems to have happened here is that the soul stone came into being when the nemesis entity spread the essence. the universe in the form of the Infinity Stones that when the soul stone was born Devon derp was born inside the soul stone and when that happened to von Drake he had a constant hunger to consume souls the difference here is that when Wars happen from Infinity and Gomorrah Basically took all life in the main Marvel Universe, put it all inside the soul world, and then folded it back on itself to basically start fusing people together to essentially conserve space.
What this did is basically open von der up to the idea that there are all these different beings that are out there now that he can eat, so we went on a feeding frenzy consuming everything he could find until he ran into the heroes. here and So the result is basically fighting it the best they can and that's really what's happening right now, they're just fighting it the best they can and again, things get resolved pretty quickly because you know . In order to deal with this threat, what the Incredible Hulk does is use the space stone that is approaching von der to create a black hole inside the entity that literally sucks it into this singularity and that is the end of Fondren. it wraps like this and again, that's a common theme in this story is that they just wrap it into a single page and it's fine and then you turn around and you have Adam Warlock sitting down. and it says that the main Marvel Universe has basically been wiped out, all you have is the universe within the soul world and then like they abandoned the creation quarry, all that's left now is the main Marvel Universe, fold it over himself in the soul world and then, Adam Warlock's idea is to basically restore everything to normal, the dilemma that Adam Warlock has and what kind of toys Jerry Dugan here will see the consequences, it will certainly be a reboot, which It's what Marvel should have done starting with Secret.
Wars or everything will return to normal and the reality is that everything will return to normal, everything will be restored as it was. What you learn from this is that the Infinity Warps universe is basically copied correctly, so I mean, imagine it's a piece of paper, a piece of paper that's just been folded back on itself, like that's Gamora's plate. . You take a piece of paper that was the name of a universe, you fold it over itself and then you put it inside the one world and those are finite deformations. the universe that exists in the soul world what Adam Warlock is going to do is copy that folded piece of paper and then he will take it out of the soul world, unfold it and that will be the main Marvel universe that will return to normal and Somehow way makes sense in terms of just fixing everything.
The problem they have here is that they basically can't leave Infinity Warps inside the soul world forever, like they can't leave it there forever and that's how they end up. What it's doing is basically creating like two universes and then in turn scattering everything between those two universes and thus restoring the infinite warps and restoring the main Marvel Universe. Now what this does going forward is set the stage for Marvel to start exploring. Infinity Warps, which I actually mean, teases a little bit about the actual story of Infinity War. I didn't read any of them because none of them interested me, but you know, it leaves the door open for them to start. explore that or do whatever they want with that universe, make it the ultimate universe or anything like that, essentially they can do whatever they want here and once everything goes back to normal, Adam Warlock has this second, the second fight that Can we go back and undo all of this?
Is it possible to change all this? And that's one of the things that he discusses with you, one of the things that you have to keep in mind and this is one of the things that Jim Starlin discusses and that I can infinitely. It's not what it was, but it was the one where Thanos goes into Adam Warlock's mind and Adam Warlock goes into Thanos' mind to see how others see all of creation, how they see themselves, and what the universe is like, etc One of the things that Jim Starlin established in that story is that Adam Warlock is a being of order and structure.
If the universe were left in the hands of Adam Warlock, if he had total power and could create the universe in his own image, it would be rigid and structured. there would be no real free thought, there would be no real freedom of choice or anything like that, there would be no free will, so Adam Warlock is struggling with that internally in terms of yeah, I think I can do everything the way I want it like that. Either way, I can go back in time and stop this, but there are always consequences. Remember the branch universe theory, so if Adam Warlock comes back and changes things, then what that means is that there's a universe out there where nothing changed. and the question to ask here is what will become the main Marvel Universe, so it's kind of a risk, it's a gamble for Adam Warlock, but at the end of the day what he does is make the decision to disperse Gamora . the sins are out there, here are the infinity stones and he says I'm basically taking it out and setting it in a place where it can, quote, do the most good, whatever happens to me and then in turn, whatever he does is he. gives the infinity of Jim's souls, rila, goes back to the point right after you get there and gives the infinity of Jim's souls and basically says that each of these Infinity Stones can now make their own decisions, they can live their lives with freedom and kindness. to disperse now, the Jerry guy is not pulling that out of nowhere, right, that's one of the things that was established and Brian Michael Bendis is enlightened to a certain degree, they have a certain measure of sensitivity because they all want to get together, it's one of the rates.
Of the ways in which businesses explain how it is, people always end up acquiring all the Infinity stones, that if you acquire one of them it will lead you to all the others and the more you collect, the easier it will be to locate the others Adam Warlock type of is based on that and it says that now they are sentient beings, now they can go out and forge their own paths and do their own thing, then what it does is again set the stage from all sides to start focusing on people arbitrarily obtaining the Infinity Stones. introducing new characters, some character we've seen or heard about before who suddenly gains an infinity stone, you know, the other half of this is again gyum or has basically been taken to another location, we're not sure exactly where it is somewhere distant, distant planet where he ends up discovering this kind of tomb coffin made of rock that houses the magnets, the future evil alternate personality of Adam Warlock and this is what I want to talk about for a second when it comes to telling when it comes to stories that We cover in general.
In general, I try not to express my opinion there on the far right, as I do to you, explain to you what is happening, give you some history about the characters that were. There's how it all ties into Marvel Comics history and then you guys come to your own conclusions, but I don't really know what the point of this story was except thatI guess maybe make money, it just didn't. It doesn't really seem to have a purpose because, in a nutshell, this is what happens. Gamora gets the Infinity Stones because he believes he can fix everything.
What he does is take the main Marvel Universe, fold it in half, and throw it into the soul world. This introduces infinite warps, basically characters. of omec's Marvel Comics superheroes how many supervillains have emerged into a singular being, which was kind of fun. I guess if that was your thing, what's left of the heroes basically band together and start fighting against, you know, what is essentially the hunger of the soul stone given physical form in the form of Devon. Drew Gamora wants to go to the creation quarry to recreate everything only to find out that he can't.
The heroes are still fighting von der for a while as they finally make it out of Loki's house. somehow he's doing something but we never find out what it is because he never does it and then he leaves and goes home and then this story ends and that's basically it, long story short, it doesn't really seem to have served any purpose and the Most of the time here is one of the important things, I mean, if this is a story that is a stepping stone to something much bigger, it didn't, it didn't really feel because in Marvel Comics and really in a couple of books in general, DC.
Comics Marvel Comics the whole nine yards when stories are stepping stones to something bigger, so it's obvious when you feel it right the way you have it. I can look at Chris Claremont's x-men, they were just building blocks, that's all, it was one that was built for two. is based on three versions to branch, we have more modern stories and you look at these events like Loki becoming the sorcerer supreme, which happened three months ago in Doctor Strange and the stories serve to build on the things that I'm establishing. setting for something else and it's tangible and you can feel it when you're reading the story of this like this whole crazy event happened and now no one remembers it and everything is basically undone and it's kind of like okay so we're back to where We started and it's like what was the point of all this so I don't know maybe it's maybe one of you got something out of this other than me I'm not really sure about myself I don't mean to be negative and overly criticized it's just like a person who has been reading comics for over 20 years.
I see stories like this and they usually never bode well, they usually never have longevity because they don't lead to anything, it doesn't really go into anything. instead, as a story 5 or 6 arcs later, you're basically saying well, we can, you can just ignore that and Burton didn't exist as a stranger, like it's Spider-verse, right, technically speaking, you can pretend that Spider- see never happened because it happened between two issues of superior spider-man like issue 21 and 22 like it wasn't like there was a sequel to the spider-verse where I saw the spider-verse happen and then it has a ripple effect on the whole rest of the superior spider-man entering something completely new, completely different or I guess the return of Peter Parker and then the whole -new, amazing and completely different Spider-Man verse Spidey is never referenced again.
I don't know, I mean, even now it's with the secret empire, it's still referenced, you know, I mean, it was only referenced in the superior octopus oneshot. because you know, the spider is linking, so again, I don't know. I mean, let me know what you think in the comments section. I'm curious to know what your opinion is because, again, I don't normally do this, but I don't normally read stories that in this way, as stories, they don't usually happen like this in Marvel comics, so it's a little crazy and, new, they don't seem to serve any purpose, so with that being said, guys, let's end this video if you're new, here will come this explanation.
