isn't even that interesting, the big conclusion to that, well, they were two big conclusions, one is that Galactus. is the Eater of Worlds again and the Silver Surfer is his Herald again and the other is that there is a character called Requiem which we'll talk about here in a minute because I have a pretty solid theory of who that character is, but unless initially this coincides with Loki, this is the actual story of Infinity Wars itself and this is basically the whole event as a race for the Infinity Stones and different people are chasing the Infinity Stones for different reasons, for example Gamora's . hunting down the soul stone because he discovered that there was a fraction of his soul that was so trapped in it now, actually, that's Jerry Dugan and Marvel, like going back to the old Jim Starlin stories, just like you read the old comics of Jim Starlin from behind.

In the 80's and 90's and Gomorrah along with Pip the Troll and Adam Warlock had spent most of their time within the world of souls, the problem with this was that it was always believed that when Gomorrah returned he would be his entire incomplete self. , but what we ended up learning is that a part of her was still trapped there and she actually aged, which didn't really make any sense because in the soul stone no one ages, so it's kind of interesting, but basically there was an ancient version of herself that was there and it was the quest to find that whole part of herself and bring it back, so the result here is that initially we basically ended up joining Loki, now Loki is an omnipotent city and for those of you who have been following Thor. comics for a while, this originally made its debut in 2013 with Thor, God of Thunder number three, I'm pretty sure, but the basically omnipotent city was this place, it was designed by writer Jason Aaron to essentially flesh out the Thor mythos and build .

On the right there was essentially like this large parliamentary location where it was originally built by the Elder Gods before they died or, you know, where it was essentially removed by the landscape and which ultimately served as a house of sorts. It also features a guy named Flow, who is basically a guardian of the tomb. Sorry, a keeper of the tome. Now the Tome Guardians are actually kind of a new concept at Marvel and the reason is because again Jason Aaron was building on a lot of things, so it makes sense when you're talking about the Asgardian mythos because it's such a big part of Marvel Comics. right now because you have the war of the kingdoms and a lot of changes were made.

I can't really ignore them, especially when you consider the fact that Jason Aaron's Ron is a multifaceted race that coldly continues for quite some time and therefore a lot of the things that are happening with Asgard tie into existing Asgardian myths or act as a complement, of course, we had like the Congress of the Worlds, for example, and you had like, you know, this kind of multiversal library of all these ancient books on different things like that, but the ones who keep the tone are guys who basically keep all. these different tomes these kinds of history books and different things like that these books on a wide range of different things now the idea behind this was that originally they were all confined to a singular location, but Freya, Odin's wife, had essentially taken the decision to basically go and start splitting them up into two different locations and this actually served to be beneficial when Asgard was essentially destroyed and because Asgard was gone because now all you have is like Gardea, the version of Asgard that Iron Man built after The siege events what you have now is essentially like all these different locations in this sort of Asgardian kingdom that has all these different books about history and artifacts and stuff like that and what Loki's been doing is, if there's one thing I can say , is actually parsing what amounts to stories basically stories that take place in alternate universes and the reason is it starts talking about how all of these stories have Marvel characters in them but the events basically play out in different ways so Spider-Man never loses the Venom symbiote, Captain America, and you never know, he's never frozen or frozen and basically makes himself present in the United States, different things like that, but Loki is essentially poring over all of these books because in none of them actually take control and become ruler of Asgard. he's always the backup type, he's always the type of guy that never really leads to a singular place, so the question is what's going on with all this, like the information in his books is incomplete or incorrect and we have than looking for factual information. well, of course, at this point, although it basically says: look, you have to go to God Quarry if you want to find out now, of course, close, guys who have been reading OHS fan, that God Quarry was invented in that line of comics. and it's basically this idea that there's a place out there on the edge of the universe, on the edge of, you know, dimensional space, where if you can go to the quarry of the gods, survive the three-dimensional test. witches, which is basically not doing it.

Give in to the illusion that you see and then you will emerge with a whole, you know, with a higher level of power. Now the idea is that it is a power improvement. One of the interesting things is that there will be an infinite warp that is actually based on Jaspers' warp and is essentially like character fusion. There are a lot of really cool things coming out of Infinity Wars this summer. It looks like it will be one of the best events Marvel has ever done in the world. It really lasted in the last decade, which actually makes sense, with the exception of Secret Wars, Secret Avengers of the Hickman Empire, and New Avengers, considering that, only you know those are like the only handful of events, They've been great, everything else.

It's just been there, it's just things that happened. I still say on stage. The Secret Empire is one of the best Captain America stories ever written. I know people get mad at me for saying that because I don't, because I don't agree. with him, but I still thought it was an incredible story. It's a cool idea, but at this point we switch to Adam Warlock and Doctor Strange.

This isn't the first time Doctor Strange has done this right, like using the time stone in such a way. Fashion in general, time manipulation in Marvel Comics is something that people usually don't like to see or that people would like dr. Strangers generally don't like to use them and the reason goes back to a variety of reasons. I mean, one of the most tangible reasons came from the events of Age of Ultron, you know, when you had Wolverine jumping around. Now for the funny thing and here's something important to keep in mind. Danos recognizes that Requiem is like that. Alright. He was wondering how long it will be before you get here. This has led to a litany of theories. Some people have said that Requiem. It's like Gomorrah, other people directly speculate that Liam is a nebula that's basically like a repeat of the Infinity Gauntlet.

A lot of people are speculating about all these different things. If I were a gambler, I'd bet all the money in my pockets on all the money in your pockets. You know that's going to really seal the deal here, but it's a cool concept and it's a cool idea. At this point, the team doesn't really exist anymore and So with Gamora leaving, what we end up doing is continuing with the group now, for those who aren't up to speed, the fact that Groot is speaking full sentences will seem strange, like if it was like what they know the group can do. In the comics, the Infinity Stones are only relative to the universe they're in, like you can't take the Infinity Stones from the main model universe and then appear in the real world and use them or appear in Marvel Cinematic. Frost Emma Frost is using her telepathy to wake up other people and that led you to know that her house was changed back to the main moral universe in the scholar, which took away all of the mutants' powers or at least 98% of them. the powers of the mutant populations. really invokes those things and incorporates them, it's just one of those things where stories build on each other in that capacity, now after this with the Power Stone given to Loki, Emma Frost takes it because it's like I I don't trust you, man, and there's no reason why she wouldn't just do it.

You have to be outside of it. verse or something so it was kind of a queue here again things are left pretty ambiguous we basically ended up picking up Drax a destroyer with Arthur Douglas but this is when he was in his human form now if those you guys weren't familiar with This, the character of Drax, a destroyer, was a guy named Arthur Moon Dry and is his biological daughter named Heather.

Devon. and we were never really given an explanation of what Andra's world plays like outside of the fact that she just consumes everything inside and what seems to have happened here is that the soul stone came into being when the nemesis entity spread the essence. the universe in the form of the Infinity Stones that when the soul stone was born Devon derp was born inside the soul stone and when that happened to von Drake he had a constant hunger to consume souls the difference here is that when Wars happen from Infinity and Gomorrah Basically took all life in the main Marvel Universe, put it all inside the soul world, and then folded it back on itself to basically start fusing people together to essentially conserve space.

In order to deal with this threat, what the Incredible Hulk does is use the space stone that is approaching von der to create a black hole inside the entity that literally sucks it into this singularity and that is the end of Fondren. it wraps like this and again, that's a common theme in this story is that they just wrap it into a single page and it's fine and then you turn around and you have Adam Warlock sitting down. and it says that the main Marvel Universe has basically been wiped out, all you have is the universe within the soul world and then like they abandoned the creation quarry, all that's left now is the main Marvel Universe, fold it over himself in the soul world and then, Adam Warlock's idea is to basically restore everything to normal, the dilemma that Adam Warlock has and what kind of toys Jerry Dugan here will see the consequences, it will certainly be a reboot, which It's what Marvel should have done starting with Secret.

Wars or everything will return to normal and the reality is that everything will return to normal, everything will be restored as it was. What you learn from this is that the Infinity Warps universe is basically copied correctly, so I mean, imagine it's a piece of paper, a piece of paper that's just been folded back on itself, like that's Gamora's plate. . Remember the branch universe theory, so if Adam Warlock comes back and changes things, then what that means is that there's a universe out there where nothing changed. and the question to ask here is what will become the main Marvel Universe, so it's kind of a risk, it's a gamble for Adam Warlock, but at the end of the day what he does is make the decision to disperse Gamora . the sins are out there, here are the infinity stones and he says I'm basically taking it out and setting it in a place where it can, quote, do the most good, whatever happens to me and then in turn, whatever he does is he. gives the infinity of Jim's souls, rila, goes back to the point right after you get there and gives the infinity of Jim's souls and basically says that each of these Infinity Stones can now make their own decisions, they can live their lives with freedom and kindness. to disperse now, the Jerry guy is not pulling that out of nowhere, right, that's one of the things that was established and Brian Michael Bendis is enlightened to a certain degree, they have a certain measure of sensitivity because they all want to get together, it's one of the rates.

The heroes are still fighting von der for a while as they finally make it out of Loki's house. somehow he's doing something but we never find out what it is because he never does it and then he leaves and goes home and then this story ends and that's basically it, long story short, it doesn't really seem to have served any purpose and the Most of the time here is one of the important things, I mean, if this is a story that is a stepping stone to something much bigger, it didn't, it didn't really feel because in Marvel Comics and really in a couple of books in general, DC.

Comics Marvel Comics the whole nine yards when stories are stepping stones to something bigger, so it's obvious when you feel it right the way you have it. I see stories like this and they usually never bode well, they usually never have longevity because they don't lead to anything, it doesn't really go into anything. instead, as a story 5 or 6 arcs later, you're basically saying well, we can, you can just ignore that and Burton didn't exist as a stranger, like it's Spider-verse, right, technically speaking, you can pretend that Spider- see never happened because it happened between two issues of superior spider-man like issue 21 and 22 like it wasn't like there was a sequel to the spider-verse where I saw the spider-verse happen and then it has a ripple effect on the whole rest of the superior spider-man entering something completely new, completely different or I guess the return of Peter Parker and then the whole -new, amazing and completely different Spider-Man verse Spidey is never referenced again.

I don't know, I mean, even now it's with the secret empire, it's still referenced, you know, I mean, it was only referenced in the superior octopus oneshot. because you know, the spider is linking, so again, I don't know.
