I fell in love in the museum with the 1930 om45 deluxe, where only 11 were made and you will notice that I have used that model as Inspired by the details, I added what it is made of, the back and sides, a Guatemalan rosewood with this beautiful sapwood combined in the middle. I love being able to see the unfinished wood through the soundhole and the bracing material is adirondac spruce on the top. Before you say anything I know it's not a traditional choice but I'm not a traditional girl and I had the full experience and was able to hand select parts at the factory with professional guidance of course thanks Danny and Rory I'm Engelman Spruce with Bearclaw I love how in certain light you can't notice it and then it hits you, it shines, it's a weird top, it really looks like a bear scratched it and I know that this distinctive grain pattern doesn't affect the structural integrity of the wood.

I didn't want to build a Martin that had been created before. I wanted something tasteful, an ode to Martin's story, but something that stood out and was noticeably mine. You'll notice that I went for a satin finish with aged toner shine, it's stunning, but To be honest, this guitar is for a performance purpose on stage and in front of the camera. Reflections under lights can be distracting and difficult to film and photograph, and I love the matte look the most. Also, some might say that having fewer layers of lacquer allows the wood to breathe more and therefore sounds better I'm prepared for a fight in the comments The binding is European flamed maple with abalone pearl all around and at the end of the fingerboard the rosette is modeled on the 45 the adhesive is Vintage High glue the material of the armpit guard is an imitation T-shell, the bridge is black ebony.

I opted for the modern belly shape with a bone saddle and the foden-inspired pearl triangles with custom inlays that lead me to the neck, which also has a foden-style inlay but with my signature at the 12th fret. Yes, it really is a dream come true. The neck is made of mahogany with a modified L-oval profile and high-performance taper. The finish is also satin. Here also the dovetail neck joint the fingerboard is black ebony with flamed maple joint and an angled bone nut. The radio. it's 16 inches, then there are 20 frets with 14 free from the body, it has a square slotted headstock, also Guatemalan rosewood on the square slotted headplate and the CF Martin inlay plus the binding on the back.
I have the standard diamond scroll with a custom design. bike inlay that has the exact same design as the tattoo on my wrist we are twins so yes the Sid mounted brass wavy tuners are phenomenal for playing live. I chose LR bags, Anthem pickup, reliable, proven and subtle, this is my most valuable and special. guitar I know I am one of the luckiest musicians to be able to have this experience and work with Martin to build an extraordinary instrument with so many details that mean a lot to me.
