I Spent 100 Days in Minecraft Skyblock...

May 30, 2021
Hello everyone and welcome back to another Minecraft video. Today we are going to take on a challenge. I want to see what it's like to survive 100

days

in heaven on a small block where we have to generate everything ourselves. The Skyblock map. Awesome and I'll link it below if you want to play along, let's get into the beginning of Skyblock. We'll start the first day by simply hitting a tree and getting some wood to expand the island. Getting this first shoot is probably the most stressful event in any sky block startup, but we did it. Now it's time to make a cobblestone generator.

This startup will be very slow, but it will work. I will eventually update this cobblestone generator. later, but obviously I can't do it until I expand my island. I love this first day of Skyblock because you don't really have anything to work with, you just have to plant these saplings and hope it works, today we're going to focus on just getting some blocks and some more materials so we can start expanding our base on the second day on our little block in the sky and start with enough blocks to link to a neighboring island. It's a snowy island, which is great because we really need more resources.

More Interesting Facts About,

i spent 100 days in minecraft skyblock...

Let's choose to ignore the fact that I hit this tree instead of using my axe and once back on my own island I will continue with the generator collecting blocks to expand my own platform, honestly is it even a sky block island world if you dont do it? spending hours of your life sitting on a cobblestone generator no, no, no once we gathered enough, it was finally time to start building the island. I use wooden slabs to expand my island base and also create a cobblestone bridge that would eventually allow mobs to spawn, speaking of which it's mob spiner time, it's actually a little early in the game for us to create a spawner from mobs, we don't have everything we need, which I quickly realized, but it's a good start because I'll need a lot of materials, like ropes for a bed.

The fourth day begins with the beautiful sight of a burning zombie and this gives me hope that the generator will work, so I start building once again. I also have the brilliant idea of using a snowman to collect more snow, except I forgot that it requires scissors, so we go back to the mob farm, which looks cool by the way, they are bomb mobs, although the mobs are dangerous, uh, watch out, players humiliated by the events of day four on day five. I decided I would just lay low and expand the base. We are cooling down.
i spent 100 days in minecraft skyblock
Day six began with more material collection. It was also the day I found out that the fire spread was activated, so everything is fine, although I have everything under control. It's a great week on the island and there haven't been any major disasters so far, so I'll call it a success. We are starting the seventh day strong with a beautiful spruce tree ready to go. These will be a great source of materials going forward for the rest of the spawn building process and also my general island, you know, today we are designing the spawner because of the way it has platforms, now look it can spawn things, oh, Speaking of generating things, yes, kids.
I don't like it when kids show up. I also realize that to finish this mob spawner we need infinite water, which is unfortunate, but luckily there is an island nearby that appears to be a swamp and I was really hoping there would be water. over there fortunately it seemed obvious I'm sure but I really needed this and I was really glad it was actually there also something fun and quick uh ghost apparition now so that's great I really needed some rope for a bed at this point, but I also To be honest, I really needed a house or anything besides trees and a paver crusher.
My priorities may not be perfect, but I honestly think we're starting day nine very strong, although the insomnia must be starting because nine

days

without sleep is a bit. Regardless, while we pushed to finish the main parts of the mob generator and get it working, I obviously had to make it pretty too, but this build is also a great ghost deterrent and I'd like to grind this mob grinder all night if that's the case. everything is possible for us to be looted on the 10th and now we officially have easy access to the Mob Drops and after almost dying from my own stupidity, yes, I continue with a slightly bruised ego and finish the job once and for all, finishing the day with some expansions of islands talking about islands. expansions it's finally time to have a house on the 11th it's the day we finally make our house it's a simple thing but I love building in

skyblock

it's a very important focus for me it's really about building the base building the island that's all The fun for me, to be completely honest, we also managed to get some iron from zombie drops and that means our snow golem is now officially useful again, thank goodness because I love getting new blocks.
I'm using some of this snow. for our house, but I think it will be great for the future. Most of the early hard work of the game is almost complete and now it's time to focus on farming and move on to the next stages, such as the bottom. I pick a lot of crops. To be honest, although my island feels a bit small, so a tree farm is in order, a small circle on the edge will work I think, and we'll be able to get all our different types of trees here, which at the moment mainly They are oaks and firs, that's all that matters to me.
I like to build from them, although after a bit more foraging it was time to venture off my humble island and into the unknown, I'm being dramatic, I just wanted mushrooms for no other reason than to have them. I did nothing with these good views, although on the 16th the world woke up and chose violence against me. I was planning on building a storage area, huh, but instead, I decided to be a silly goose and remove my own lava source, so I figured you know a quick trip to another one will solve that real easy; However, to get to the bottom of it, Clinton Steel's new emphasis on steel only used my steel to access snow blocks. so that was good, but anyway we can get more of the zombies, which is cool because I have a mob spawner, right, yeah, yeah, that creeper just blew up.
This wasn't my favorite of these, to be honest with you, I decided to just casually look at it. chaos underneath and I reflect on life for a moment before completely cleaning up this mess, yes it was a challenge to fix it but in the end we did it and now we move on to day 17. I don't know what happened to Me this week but for some reason the On the 17th I decided to die again. Nothing killed me but myself again. So, uh, I took up growing carrots. It's a much better hobby to be honest, anyway I focused again now on day 18.
It's the day we get iron and once you have it the nether will unlock which is great because if I build using wood because I don't have cobblestones using wood on the bottom, I branch out to a basalt island, a bucket of lava awaits me. I'm there and we're back in business for the 19th. Look, there's a shiny new cobblestone generator. I love it. All is right with the world again and we move on to day 20. Day 20 starts with grinding the cobblestone generator, oh. How I missed it. It is important to prepare to take advantage of the cobblestone.
This Skyblock map has a very interesting nether fortress island that I will of course be making the most of, so I

spent

a few days straight figuring out how to farm cobblestone. area without dying, another fortress allows access to fire rods and wither skeletons and other nether mobs that will be important and there are also other islands in the nether like the crimson one. I'm stealing some vines here so I can go down into the void. and make a quick gold farm area, nothing in this world kills me more than my own stupidity, I swear anyway, I will eventually start the job.
This gold farm rig is inspired by pixel riffs, if you haven't seen his

skyblock

series I'll link to it. it's below, it's fantastic, I wouldn't know how to do any of these farms without it, so thanks, pixel riffs with the gold farm going. I now have new golden villagers that I can access by brewing weakness potions and gold for golden apples, so villagers. It should be fair game, assuming I can get one to spawn, speaking of which, I build a small room on the side to try to spawn a zombie villager and collect it without getting hurt, it takes a while but I'm patient so it's okay.
Meanwhile I just gather more resources and finally on the 31st I wake up and am surprised by the presence of a lovely zombie villager whom I quickly heal and start making a makeshift area for this villager will be a cleric because let's face it I have a way. too much rotten meat and nothing to do with it, so this is a great relationship. Our awesome new cleric gets to work right away, and of course I spend a good bit of time making sure there's no possible way for him to eat himself off the island. However, access to trading will be a game changer for this world, so this is where I realized that my farming game is actually very weak, not great, okay, although we will fix it on the 33rd, I do a bridge to a new island and we win.
Access to the jungle is wonderful, isn't it? I then spend some time cleaning the place and trying to make it safe while waiting for another villager to appear. It's at this point where I realize that most of my life is now

spent

on the cobblestone generator and inside the spur trees are actually just constantly grinding in this game, the sky block is a grid constant, it's okay, although it's okay, I'm okay with that, we ended up having great success and despite my struggle, a second villager is finally got these lovely villager friends now we can create a child and we are on the road to a village in full operation.
My main focus in this first trading game is tools and armor of the diamond variety because I obviously can't go mining for diamonds. so it makes a lot of sense for me to focus my operations around this. Additionally, this villager's sword has a looting enchantment on it. I want it, obviously, then on day 38 I remember that you can multiply dirt using gravel, hence the zombies on this map. throw gravel, duh, you'd think I would have thought of this before, but anyway, here we are, this means we can now spread more grass on my island and also expand my farms, which I plan to do.
I also expand the village by adding more beds and Push shocking food to the villagers in the hopes that they will mate, they do and spawn an iron golem that takes me to my next job. The iron golem allows for some sort of multitasking here for a few days, but I basically prepare my villagers with trades and also build a makeshift golem farm, basically, I just need three villagers, some beds and a zombie to scare them, easy right, no, nothing, nothing is easy in Skyblock, everything is suffering all the time, a zombie eventually walks by and picks up an item, which is a vital detail.
By keeping the zombie around to scare my villagers, a spawning platform is also created and with that job done, now I just have to convince the villagers to go straight into the farm for their eternal suffering, that's a lie, well , it's not the suffering part, but they don't do it. walk anywhere except straight into trouble, so on day 49 I fought the villagers all day slowly pushing them towards the bubble column and towards the farm, the farm by the way is going absolutely fantastic. The zombie is in place holding an arrow, it can never disappear. the platform is ready and accepts iron golems, there is a soul fire ready to kill the iron golems if they appear and the beds are placed in a formation so that the villagers are constantly terrified, everything is fine, everything is fine in the world and by day 50 wake up and have a fully functioning iron farm.
It's crazy how a simple trip to another unlocks all of this with the new access to unlocked iron. We can now easily trade with tool villagers, which may seem like a waste at first, but with infinite iron there really is no reason not to at this stage. I'm really just focused on getting access to better tools and armor. I mean, look at that diamond hoe. The next few days will be spent trading with our lovely friends and using our iron hoppers. Collecting mob drops is much easier, so they fit under my mob grinder with some difficulty and I also managed to find some time to decorate and clean up around the island.
Check out this adorable new well. Things are just getting better and looking brighter. Everything is cleaning. The farms look great, trade is going well, the iron farm is up and running, and life is good on day 55. Speaking of day 55, today I noticed that the villagers reallyThey need to go somewhere a little safer, they are raising children at a rapid pace and I should really take care of that, so let's go build them an area, but this will take a bit of time and quite a few resources, so in the meantime, let's also go to do a lot of other things really multitasking, but I found the game stage to be the most fun, honestly, I spent a lot of time farming, collecting resources, you know, grinding the cobblestone generator, making a bunch of dirt, all the work general that takes place in the sky block, but it was very easy to get into a good rhythm and just enjoy playing the game.
Normally I was playing right now after a long day of work. Just a relaxing vibe coming home talking to the villagers. Honestly, it was a good time. And look, we unlocked it. diamond tools we can finally officially have a diamond pickaxe and also a diamond shovel, an ax and a sword were soon on the way, as well as some armor, as we slowly get upgrades for the rest of these villagers, more grinding in the abyss and then we get more fire rods. besides hoping for some things for the Wither Skully, he's not having much luck and then of course more trading, are you getting the trend here, lots and lots of trading, so much trading and then building, let's start building, I planned this little area behind my small main house there for the villagers, near the jungle area.
I wanted it to be far enough away from the iron farm to not cause us any problems, but I also wanted to build. It's in a stone brick, so it was a bit longer project than I originally anticipated. That's fine, although I have to grow a lot of carrots in the meantime. Speaking of carrot farming, I have land now, so why not expand underground farms? I should really automate them since I now have access to Redstone and stuff, but I decide not to and instead automate my mob farm, which is cool because we don't really need XP for anything since we can't get diamonds and do it, so which automates this.
Honestly it makes sense and lo and behold it works really well, now I can properly focus on building and not have to turn around every five seconds and work on my farms, so on day 62 we finally get off to a really good start on building. I decide what I want. the villagers are going to have this really cool area as a fortress, so I plan it out and then start making this walkway look a lot fancier. We also have this monstrosity here, which is where I was originally allowing some mobs to spawn, but decided to instead.
I'd like to decorate it, so I start with a little sort of aesthetic farm area. It's just for looks, it doesn't really have much function there, but I decide I'd like to build a windmill on it. We put our paving stones together. Our bone blocks together and we start with this beautiful circular base, of course we are going to need a lot of land for this project and the villagers are judging me, but of course I continue with my transactions as I go. Day 65 and the rest of this dirt is, in fact, in place. At this stage, I realize that I don't have much to build on because I've been more or less focusing on trading with the villagers and not so much on resource gathering, so I branched out to this dark oak island here and I took some young trees to start milling a new type of wood.
It's very exciting for this builder. I know we can finally get to work on this windmill, but no, it's a weird looking windmill. but it's my windmill so it's okay, I like it and once again as things progress in Skyblock we return to the cobblestone generator. All this fun of generating cobblestones never seems to end, but the windmill is almost complete, just a few more details and day 69. Yeah, it's no surprise that the creepers can't kill me, although only I can kill myself in this game, so it's good to know that at least on day 69 it's finally time to get back to work in this villager area.
I wanted this to be an area that was very safe for them, so I placed the building in a way that walled off parts of the platform and then used fencing to fence off the rest. However, this is a resource-intensive project, so there is a lot of back and forth to the background. to collect more stuff, trade, and then get back to work with this very well-known island-testing villager. Oh, trying villager, fortunately, it's not too difficult, as long as you can light everything properly and fence it off. In theory he shouldn't be able to jump to his death.
I expect more blocks to be required anyway, so this time I'm heading to this birch island here. I hope to eventually get the bees out of this, but for now I'm just returning with some saplings to potentially plant a vine that has unfortunately taken over my windmill, but on day 74 I persist in this agricultural area and look, isn't it? Absolutely glorious? The villagers are judging me a little, but they do it. I still accept my crops, which is fantastic. We will plant birch trees here and we are ready to go to this area. Absolutely impressive, it wasn't impressive.
This strange contraption I have here, yes, it's for melting swords, but it's a bit of a monstrosity. villager right here I decided I needed a librarian yes, that's a repair craft, it spawned with a repair craft. I've never had that happen to me before but it didn't really need repair so I ended up rerunning it, it's the first time in my Minecraft career I've ever intentionally rerun it but it's okay because we ended up getting efficiency 4 which I think will be much more useful in our tools to do all this resource processing. Now comes the hardest part as soon as I have this place properly prepared for the villagers and built to proper standards, it's time to start thinking about transferring some villagers so I started moving first over their beds and workstations with the hope that they could wander alone.
Honestly, my expectations weren't going to wander anywhere I wanted them to wander, but I put out some red beds in case it attracted them. Spoiler alert. I didn't really even trade with them. I really couldn't, I couldn't get them to cooperate. So, alas, I continued my building project on my own without any villagers present and once it was up to the proper standards of the villagers, I started simply pushing them in the right direction, this takes a bit of time, but I thank that blacksmith that I actually managed to enter the town. Very helpful librarian. Not so useful.
Not so useful. It's okay though because I finally discovered that boats were, in fact, the best method of transportation for the villagers. 10 out of 10 recommend doing this if you need to move. villagers, I'm actually proud of the fact that I pretty much got all the villagers to move in on day 78 and once they got there, they seemed to enjoy it. The cleric was the hardest to beat, but that's okay, the cleric. He's a free thinker, I guess it's okay, they didn't want to move, everything is fine anyway, once all the villagers were inside, they let me just clean up the mess they had left behind, remove all the safety railings and I had the place. next to my house which was lovely because I really wanted to create some land after all that stress, it really takes the stress away, the land and the villager are left aside.
Now I had a little more space to work with, so I decided I would do it. I love that some grass grows towards the farm area, so that's what all these weird dirt roads everywhere are. Oh, my island looks absolutely ridiculous, but that's okay because we're having fun. There is more trade with the villagers and I realized that never. I actually completed my very strange looking windmill here, so I take my extra dirt and create some dirt propellers as if the windmill doesn't look weird enough, Jim, come on, okay, it sure looks a little better, hey. just leave it like that for the rest of the series it's fine, I'm fine.
Strange looking windmill aside, it's time to start working on the rest of the village, taking some of our blocks and starting to build more around the place, starting with the villager area this is where the part of construction becomes really real. I feel like I've been focusing a lot on villager trading because it's a good way to focus and go to the end with real diamond armor since I'm not very good. in pvp that was an approach, but now we go back to building, I built a small platform up to the void, which is what you just saw.
I don't actually use it, but it's there, just in case whoever wants it, and then go back to detailing the villager area, the villager area looks amazing at this stage and the villagers are actually getting a lot smarter, allowing me now to have a diamond axe, we are slowly making our way to much more exciting enchantments and then our old friend. the skeleton returns and unfortunately, yes that happened but it's okay because at this stage it's honestly pretty easy to get back since we can easily trade with our lovely villagers and look, a diamond sword for an emerald, could I add tools very epic diamonds? now unlocked for us since we have access to all the diamond tools so that's cool it's easy mode from now on just kidding not really at all but that was a big part of the game now complete and continues.
For more buildings, I'll be following some tutorials from the lovely YouTuber Gold Robin, who does some simple and awesome tutorials of these villager type statues. I think they are very cute and really dress up the island. Me too It's like having a day 85 crisis right now, so I took apart my initial house and then took apart the portal and then rebuilt them both by changing positions. This was a strange thing for me to spend my time on, but I spent it anyway. and honestly, it looks much better. I'm one of those people who is very picky about where things are built, so sometimes I struggle with that perfectionist side of things, but I think the island is really coming to life.
I love these little ones. The street posts where I added the details along the paths look great and this area is perfect, speaking of perfect, check out this lovely gunsmith who will be getting an upgrade soon. We will have diamond armor from this officer and I am very excited. that day and since we're so excited on day 88, we start the day with some farming and getting ready for the villagers and then I decide I'm really frustrated with my current cobblestone farm and I actually discovered it on youtube. a much better design for a smooth stone generator and I choose that if you want the design.
I should have the link in the description below. This 10 out of 10. Much better, with less losses, this allows me. To collect materials so quickly, I should have built this from the beginning to be honest and at this point I'm getting tired of throwing vegetables at my villagers and telling them to create children, so I hand the job to the farmer and then decide. It's time to decorate this beautiful cobblestone generator and I do it with another Gold Robin tutorial and another one of these villager type statues, this one looks more like an iron golem, but I think it really matches the theme we have and I love the addition of these statues around the island and of course on day 90, I'm once again farming soil because obviously as we get closer to day 100, farming land is the most important thing.
Right, I'm right, don't even worry. It's not real, although I need to prepare to fight the Ender Dragon, so one of those things I'm doing to prepare is getting myself a golden apple in case I need it. I melted all these swords into little nuggets of gold. and then I get enough to create a perfect golden apple. I'm also in the process of hunting ghosts, if you haven't noticed I've been staying up every night and luckily these ghosts aren't too hard to kill so I use my Looting Sword on them and getting a lot of their delicious delicious membranes to turn into potions, honestly with a slow fall potion you can do pretty much anything you want, in the end you are kind of invincible against the dragon, but that and the combination of this amazing diamond armor we are collecting from our villagers now will definitely seal the deal.
I'm very proud of this collection, of course, so there's more farming. Fortunately, the charming farmer hasn't gotten tired of me giving them potatoes yet. I hope I never will, but anyway more potions will be burned now, this time we will create some healing potions just in case, I probably won't need them, but I like to be over prepared, I don't know, I figure it's better. To be more prepared than unprepared, then on day 91 we will end the day with a little more construction.I decided I wanted to add some details and end this area of villagers once and for all, get it to a place where I can be very happy with this before the 100th day comes, so here I am building the wall and unfortunately fighting the ghosts on the wall Everything is fine, although I am fine.
I handled it well on day 92. Once again I'm still working on it. To this final tower I wanted to add this little detail of a house so we could add more interior and I honestly think it worked. I think it's really cute, simple, but we didn't have much time, so I created one. anvil so I can upgrade my tools a bit using these bows I got from my mob generator a while ago. I can combine them and create a halfway decent bow to fight the dragon. It doesn't have to be super impressive to be. Honestly, then getting back to grinding cobblestones, look at how satisfying the mild soap generator is.
I love it. I could spend all day here. Honestly, the amount of pictures I have of me growing carrots is amazing. In fact, I have cut them. Lots of images of me growing carrots. I spent 100 days growing carrots. That's what I'm telling you, it was intense, luckily, although they are very easy to trade and allow me to access the last few pieces of armor I need to complete my full set. on day 93 the full armor set is complete and I have all my potions, my arrows, my bow and my sword ready to reach the end in this sky block map, the end is actually at the bottom, it's right at the top of the fortress.
I always have access to it, I just decided that I would prepare before I beat it and here we go, it's time for the ender dragon to fight a pretty good spawn, if I do say so myself and I'm not too intimidating, final island, this dragon. The fight was almost like any other I had on the surface of the island. I made a little Enderman hobby. I never ended up using this, but I'm a wimp so I like having it and then all we had to do was shoot. all these crystals knocking them all down. I'm not really a good shot with a bow, but I'm impressed with how well I made it work for this fight, this bite in general, although I have it cut here for good.
From this video this fight only took six minutes I wasn't trying to go fast it just wasn't an eventful fight I don't have a lot to report here I just hit him the crystals killed the dragon very simple some of these crystals were very , very high, which turned out to be at least a small challenge and I managed to overcome it without looking at any enderman, which is the real miracle of all this, once the dragon lands of course it's a very easy hit, you just hit it a slap on the tail and, for some reason, that kills him.
I love it, by the way, I'm very impressed with these shots. I left this just to show you that I'm actually getting better with a bow. I don't claim to be very good at pve or pvp, but you know, I'm practicing. I'm getting better. I like to think from time to time. Maybe anyway this dragon will be defeated quite easily and we will get the very dramatic final shot, as usual we free the ends and of course to finish it we have to collect the egg and take it proudly to our island, now we can access to others. parts of the end to collect much better things like diamonds and lava cubes, but for now in these 100 days I will return to our island and finish at home, at home I decide that we have to put the egg directly in the middle where we originally spawned, so that's what I still do and I surround it with some final stone and some black stone to accent this whole area and then I spend the last six days of my trip on this sky block. world by simply decorating, I decide that I really want to have a proper theme on this island and although I didn't have time to do all the constructions that I might have wanted to do in a hundred days because, honestly, the most important thing I learned in these hundred days that 100 days in Minecraft isn't really a lot of time, I didn't manage to do as much as I thought I was going to do, but I still expanded some tree farms to the side so I could get more resources. and I decide that the theme I'd like to move forward with is some sort of overgrown forest environment, so I spend the last few days decorating with that theme in mind.
If you want to see me continue on this island, I will definitely show something. support this video hit the like button and subscribe if you want to see more content like this. I had a lot of fun doing it and I really love playing Skyblock. It's my favorite game mode of all and I really enjoyed doing it. It took me two months to film this because I'm a student now and I'm very busy, but I like the way the island turned out. Now let's finally collect this jungle tree because I never saw it. There was a bird up there and I was really hoping that I would finally have a pet, but unfortunately at the top there was no bird, so it was very sad, but anyway I can continue with my dreams of becoming an adult. forest elf, so that's good, lots of trees, lots of vines, lots of greenery, overall I love the decorations.
I also expanded the sugar cane farm because even though we fought the dragon, there is still a lot of trading to do with the villagers and then finish the last day. I create my first and last custom tree of this 100 day challenge. I think it's beautiful here by the farm and I would love to be able to expand on this idea as the world moves forward. On day 100 we made it a diamond. Beautiful armor area of villagers and the overall island looks absolutely beautiful. I love how it turned out and I think with a little more time I could do even more with these bills.
The central island is totally transformed from what it looked like on the day. one and I'm very proud of the progress we made, the iron golem and the villager statues look absolutely fantastic and the path to the mafia farm is as dramatic and green as I wanted it to be, I love it and I hope you also. you too
