I FOUND OUT What Happened TO HIM (BROKE G2)

Apr 07, 2024
welcome back to another episode, it's spring, we're back to deer hunting, we're back at the bankrupt G2 farm and there's been no signs of bankrupt G2, it's a deer we'd really love to find some sheds. I've walked a little. A little bit of this Farm and Caitlyn has already walked a little bit of this Farm, but we have a good section that we haven't walked yet, so we're going to do it today and honestly, we'll probably just do it. Driving a lot and seeing this is like a big ditch. Grow a lot of grass, a lot of ditches, so we'll probably just drive a lot.

We have some time. It's a beautiful day just to go out and find some sheds. some deer because there are definitely a lot of deer that we haven't

found

yet, so that's

what

we're doing today. 90% of this farm when we find our sheds is usually in little grass belts like this and I feel like for the majority In a country you find a lot of sheds in these little grass ditches in the middle of the field because they go out, they eat in the field all the night and then they just lie in these for a couple of hours during the night. they don't go back to wood, they don't go back to things, so I feel like, especially this year and last year, most of the sheds that we've been finding are grassy in nature, little natural grass cuts like this, like this I'm just going to drive a little slow, it's really efficient, honestly, just looking for them side by side, we get the first one, it's old, but it counts, it's kind of exciting.

More Interesting Facts About,

i found out what happened to him broke g2...

I wonder if he is a big dog or not. I don't know who he is, but it's good that they like this grass and last year, just in this little pocket of grass, we

found

like seven, but now there are tilled beans around them, so it makes sense that they're not there. and this was the last year that she would still roll first, although on the board, hello, let's jump here and walk, but this is the infamous place where I had the encounter with G2

broke

n in that tree, um, but I was just. I was looking and I was thinking about this too, the way this trail works is it turns but it starts to bend towards a tree right here and then it kind of loops and I think one of the things you know, I think we can improve . this is this path, it's almost oriented like on the peripheral, you can see that support there, so all I think I want to do here is you can manipulate a tray a little bit and I think I'm just going to straighten it out.

Spread it out so they're walking directly parallel to this tree that you know right now we're probably 20 yards away, but it's like any kind of trail that looks at you, obviously you're more exposed to being seen. or

what

ever very easily, I think we can take this tree and we're going to put it right on this trail and there's another tree, we're going to put it right on the trail and I'll come back another day with a brush. Whacker and I will just zoom to where I want you to go right here, it's not a big move, it's literally, we're just going to overtake the trail by two three yards, it'll essentially straighten it out so it's still the smallest path or the path of least resistance. for the deer and we'll get over this Vine scrape a little bit, which will help the DET get through them, but it'll make their vision a little bit clearer as they move through this and they won.

I would no longer be on the periphery of that tree. You know, maybe if this was right, we wouldn't have gotten stuck in that tree. You never know, it's always good. You know, every hunting season. I'm always learning. You should always be learning. and every place is never perfect. I think you're continually trying to learn how to maybe change trees or just manipulate a tree a little bit, like in this case, just two little soda can trees that we're going to throw away. Grass, make a little new trail, move the vine, scrape and I really think they will adopt it very easily, especially in early spring or it's still winter, so give them all summer to get used to it and everything I think. be good, not the right tools for this boat they can do, you might need to get a big cat on this, there we have all the cats, you gotta get a big cat on the job here, fabulous, okay, so now we did a little thing that looks like a block, it's just a little bit like I said, we're not trying to do it, if you ever try to make a deer turn right or something silly like that, you can't do that, but it's very natural trees falling and things you know deer are going to do. come here and they're going to get hit slightly and now our shots a little further, it's probably three yards farther and they'll be on a better trail, it's almost like it's an inward curve, now it's an outward curve so you don't look in our direction won't be in our peripheral a little better, fast or took two minutes well, Andrew found some air conditioning.
I walk the other way, I have to make you look for it. It's incredibly difficult. with this sun, I'm being silly right now, oh, way out there, that's cool, you don't see them like that every day, huh, I really was like that, huh, yeah, future hottie, it'll take a couple of years. Good job, Andrew. three I don't think this is where all the cut beans are. I don't think there are going to be any heavy sheds around here. I just didn't find one that could have been grown on holy cow. It seems like everything

broke

. and tilled, that's funny, yes, it was definitely tilled in the field, it's amazing how much is lost in agriculture in all these fields, well, today we are here hunting sheds and sometimes it's good news, sometimes it's bad news, I found a match, but I think I just went for the dollar.
I was hoping not to find him, yes, God, this is him, darlings, I was really hoping to be sitting in the back. If I saw this deer within 20 yards several times, he ended up hurting his foot. I saw it on the trail camera and the last photo we had of it is like November 26th and right here it makes sense to just drive through this grass I found it, I mean I honestly must have driven by it a few times during the season but God, that's a bummer, a couple days after we found this R T2 guy, we had him in this box and when I lifted his head off the ground, this thing jumped out of his shed, which sucks, but we still have him, we have a rescue tag for him.
What is this video? is going to be or this part of the video is going to boil this guy's head into a euro and then I've done quite a bit of research, is there a way to plug this back in here once everything is final and ready. so I don't know, it might be a little experiment, but at least let's boil this guy trying. It's going to be a short session here, but I boiled several skulls the other day and posted my stories that a lot of people were wondering about. I actually bought this a while ago.
It's the Bridger boiler Euros skull system and it actually opens up, it's a nice opening knife and there's a ton of adjustments and this rod goes in here to keep the antlers up and So it's actually a nose rod right here that goes inside. It's a bit unpleasant. I tried to give it a quick pressure wash, but I made three skulls. I knew I had to do this one. In fact, I have one more I want to do. I feel like all season long, all I do is put them on the rafters in my barn so in one fell swoop you can do it and clean it up, but uh the tools if you want to do this at home are what you make yourself.
I need some kind of system to boil the skulls. There are many things out there. This is a kind of Mac Daddy Deluxe. One, um, but it can make a moose, it can make a deer, it can make anything, obviously, you need propane and then we're just done. using a pressure washer, kind of what I've done for the last two years, a couple of calls we made, we'll fill it with water, you add a little bit of Dawn dish soap to it to help break it down or you can add a little bit Other things I was reading on the internet that you can use, but that's what we're going to do and you're going to let it simmer for an hour on low heat and then we're going to pressure wash again as best you can. of stuff, you let it re-submerge for about 20 minutes and then you do it again and you keep doing that until you get a really clean skull.
This was late, it's an Iowa dollar so you can see it's not whitened yet. but this is what it's going to look like after boiling a little rough, just a rough skull, so I hope we can catch this guy the same way because he's cool. You kind of know, we chase this deer all year long, at least it's cool. At the end of the chapter it still sucks that he died okay here we continue so it takes a minute or honestly it takes like 10 minutes for this big thing to go off so since this was like a dead head that's the part bottom of Jaws, obviously there's a clump of hair and everything, so I'm going to do my best real quick to get a lot of this off, but I feel like since it's kind of hardened and everything, I might have to boil it for a while with a little more. trash on him just to take it away from him too what I'm going to say, all said and done once this guy has, hopefully, one horn behind the other antler, hopefully, we can score this bad boy and we're going to do what we wanted to do.
I'm sure this guy was dry, age, that's not right, what is it, dry moisture. Dry for 60 days when we went and left and we got this epoxy stuff from the store right before we left. I wanted it to boil for the last moment. last 20 30 minutes and I had to add a ton of water because some of it evaporated like an idiot I turned the heat up to high because I wanted it to come to a boil faster and I got distracted and thought Okay let's go to the store and I left it on high heat and when we came back there was no water left and the bottom was burned pretty bad, yeah, which sucks, but honestly, structurally it's fine, it looks like everything is fine.
Now he has this very dark skull, uh, darker, but I think when we peroxide it and make it all white it will be fine. Our goal today is to take this to do this, which is right where it needs to be, obviously, this is what bro. G2 looked like he did when he was alive but now he's dead and I went to pick him up and he fell down so I did a lot of research and we found a really good video, in fact we might link it below. taxidermist what they do, so they take one of these bolts, this is actually a weight stabilizer bolt, but this is what they were using a threaded rod.
I also bought a couple different ones after watching these videos and thinking about it, I think this is still The best bet is that what you are going to do is similar to those Rack Hub things that we are going to drill out here with epoxy instead and then essentially we're going to take this and then drill here and this side. I have to make the hole a little bigger because it will have some space and epoxy will be applied. You know, tight. Basically, it will get into the mesh. 5 minutes of tight epoxy. It will work?
I have no idea of anything worse. It gets worse, everything else fails and we try to rip this antler off and we may have two broken antlers G2, just bad luck with this deer, okay guys, bad encounter with him, find him dead, go pick them up, shed falls down . I'm just going to make it look pretty so I can put them on the wall or in the office or in the shed or whatever burn them burn them almost burn down my barn and now here we are so I hope we can get this bad. boy, uh here, I hope you have to give it a little more than that, oh well, no, I know, I'm just making sure you know before yeah, yeah, because there's some lasting damage.
Bone doesn't smell very good when it burns, okay? I don't know, I don't know what I'm doing, guys, I don't know, this is stress, put this out there. I'm going to shove as much epoxy into that hole as I can. Well, moment of truth, moment of truth, I'm going to put a little bit on this bolt, it's actually okay, epoxy everywhere, epoxy everywhere now that overall it looks good seated now I'm just going to sit here and hold it because I don't have a better solution. Does it look good everywhere? mhm, good morning everyone the next morning and um, it didn't fall apart, we'll see the moment of truth, I don't know, a very sharp knife, I mean, it doesn't move, a piece of skull scale, yeah, I mean the bottom of the skull.
It's not in great shape but the top is good so here we go ladies and gentlemen it really worked welcome welcome to Chris' new show DIY what we're going to do is I want to score this bad boy now, uh. He did it very roughly, but now that it's together in one piece, practically in the same place, I'm always curious to know what he scored, so what we're going to do is rate this bad boy. Guess in the comments below what you think he is. obviously we're not going to include the time he's missing on his forehead even though we had pictures of him, uh, going up, as well as the score of him, what do you think he'll comment on next in about a week?
We will set the winner for the guest with the closest score and award a $200 credit gift card to berom merch.com if you guess the score correctly, so comment below what you know, thanks everyone for watching, we'll see you next time . one
