I bought Beats By Dre.

May 31, 2021
prepare your angry comments because I

bought

some big Bluetooth headphones from Beats that are really in their element, if you ask me, I'm talking about the active noise cancellation, you know, and basically the way they tell strangers that you're not willing to talk, except the Beats people. Let's say they're expensive 449.95 look, there's an Echidna on a nickel. I don't trust the player to put up 2010 coin, although that's money walking around in the headphone world, so like anything that owes you almost 500 kangaroos, we're going to go in there and fix this. Well, the first thing that bothers me is garbage like this.

The Raycons did it too and they still sell them to you. It's as if I had already

bought

them. Dr. Dre as Let It Go. Oh, a difficult case. Well, here it is. usual crap here aux cable good

beats

sticker big stupid crap fast fuel aka charging cable oh look and like a clip so it's pretty oh it has

beats

so yeah it comes with a hard case well it's better than those stupid ones cloth bags that come with many of them. I actually like the way the logo looks. It's very difficult to make something so simple but iconic at the same time.

More Interesting Facts About,

i bought beats by dre...

Yes, friend, of course. I bought it in white and gold. A cool little thing in my first unboxing. I noticed that the peeled plastic that all these things come with had the instructions on them, which I thought, hey, that was actually a cool use for that kind of thing. These are three years old now in 2017, they first released the season. Look, micro USB auxiliary. I know because the battery will run out one day, there's an on and off button here, but straight to the Vegemite Sandwich, man, how does that sound good, man? I bet they're so serious, so much base, man, I bet they're the most serious, uh, no, I almost wish that.

That's actually because it would be a little more interesting to talk about improved bass, yes, but the top end is as weak and without details as if there were no brightness at all. It's called Sound Stage, like the world of headphones, which is like 3D and wide. These feel very close, there's nothing special about them and since we're big judges of the sound of Move Over beats because it's The Herder 600 for oil, everyone knows, Sennheiser friend, these have been around since 1997, you can still buy them. today and they're like the de facto great sounding headphones in the 1970s that blew people away, yeah, as a very good arbiter of this sort of thing, this is what audio is for the hd600s.

Look, I've written down here, what all this mess is about. It actually means you know the sub bass, the normal bass, you know most of the legitimate instruments that live here, so the higher up the line the louder that part of the music is, you can see it's super flat here, basically where all the instruments are and that's what the reference headphones are. all about there's a drop here in the bass which is pretty normal for these legits my favorite clothes in the world mate DJ 78 look at this chart oh yeah all the way baby but shut the fuck up about the Beats hey . it's the Beats video, I mean, it's pretty standard, I mean, I call it a hump here because right at the top end of this base is what makes things really impactful, so gaming headphones love to have that aspect of the Steel Arctus Fives series and the Astro a50s notice.
They both have a hump there because the shots are so loud when they do that. They look at the higher end though HD 600s Beats by Dre, but I hope they are sold on the sound we are bringing back in the mini DSP, which is strange on a stand. used for headphone calibration and apparently ASMR videos. I always put an Asterix on this. You know, this is a piece of equipment that costs a few hundred dollars, not thousands of dollars. You're listening through your speakers and like YouTube, it's crushing the audio a lot and remember. i recorded this which means it was recorded by an idiot but anyway i quickly listened to the beats vs the foreign hd600s but there is another side to get over and that is that they are an accessory for a lot of people, people like the way they look and they come. in all these crazy colors, I won't judge about that, I mean how much the jewelry costs and it doesn't play music at all, so I guess for that price you know it must be everything, like the amazing build quality and that they feel amazing, they look great, no these are cheap, dumb, nasty pads, nothing going on there, check this out, cheap gaming headphones, yes Krakens, they have better pads, there is almost no swivel on these cups, obviously, it's to keep this Vogue design or whatever, but since our ears don't face outwards, they point a little forward, so they must be like that.
This plastic is not that surprising. This headband is a rubber with strange grip. I mean, it's not the worst, but the worst is this appearance. I bent them, big deal right, look at how the pads press against there, look at how it stays that way, that's how they've been since I bought them and I've been road testing them for a couple of weeks and that doesn't go away, look at the seams are as if they were rolled up. He's armed like shit. 450 dollars. They don't even look good. These hinges here are so cheap. I like tactile buttons, yes, clicky ones and hard to use switches.
It's like the clutch on a Harley Davidson. It's very heavy but I don't know why it's like carrying all the shopping at once, it's like, but it's like your ankle is creaking very loudly. Should I be satisfied or should I be worried? These are buttons that pause up and down, whatever they are. They are so cheap and stretchy that when I wear them it almost hurts my ears, it's like, man, listen to that Vogue plastic. Oh, they have active noise cancellation that uses microphones and phases and special Googles and whatever, but to try this. right, we have competition for these, that's right, these guys are not only getting the spotlight, they have to ignore each other to fight the venerable beats, man, I bought Sony wh-1000 xm4s, Sony catchy, very catchy, man. the box is really better than the Beats one, oh look at the rubbish that is written there, the first thing you see is how to set it up, not like the Beats blurb, basically look there are leaflets and rubbish that can stay there, it's a lot best and difficult. case, I love gold, you could put it in like this, ah, so it doesn't fall apart, it has a bag for you, your duck, come in, come in, okay, maybe the duck is a little too big, wait, wait, uh , it is big enough for half a duck.
I really prefer this case because even though it takes up a larger space, it's much slimmer and honestly that's important because of how it fits in a bag when it's as bulky as this one, it takes up a lot of space. And while I like this mesh like I'm wondering here like there they're right, they're all tucked in, well outlined, adorable, yeah, whatever it is, this is the bottom and you notice that's where they put the mesh, like this I do have things there. It doesn't feel good to have it like this but I'm crazy like the mesh should be on the side that opens for me I'm going to get the duck out of there the duck has been restored go hang out with the raycon again more awesomeness in the case Look, it has room for all the parts you need, if you ever run out of battery, you know this is for travel.
Look, they give you an airplane adapter because, for some reason, airplanes need dual mono, for some reason, USBC, yeah, and because tech companies have been so cowardly with adopting USBC and no one has charging bricks in their hiding places, we have to keep doing this hybrid nonsense, woohoo, and I like that it has all the controls on the back of this and you can get rid of that, but I don't know, I'll just keep that there, the build quality is way superior. Oh, these headphones, look at that, yeah, that's what we're talking about up here, like it's almost like they're made to be comfortable for humans.
The heads, um, the earcups spin very easily, but that's okay because they have a swivel look. You can lay them flat or you can hang them around your neck more easily instead of having them bunched up under your chin like this and keep all these benefits in mind. So far they cost $50 less and were just released last month. They are brand names, but the most important and the main reason I brought them out to compete with these beats that look even more tattered compared to Sony's noise cancellation. It's exceptional, not really surprising, so I set up a little competition, wait, crack, crack, yuck! in my study room.
I have a subwoofer. I encountered some loud traffic noises and turned it up to where I felt uncomfortable sitting in that room. I got the Hairs Go Dude and quickly listen to foreign noise cancellation, don't get me wrong but honestly these headphones don't seal well enough to keep everything out, if you have wind blowing it goes right in, but oh man. These guys are top notch even the mic is better on this compared to this the mic is still ok but I mean here they have a quick listen so I'm walking to my Nana's house and I'm like oh no , I didn't suit. any shoe, they cut my feet, eh, I didn't like it.
I realized that I don't actually live anywhere near here and have no idea where I am. I can't borrow some money please, so I'm walking down the street. right, with my feet cut off right, I don't have shoes anywhere, I'm like, oh he could take us, hey, there's like no, I'm there, I'm just freaking out because I'm so dehydrated and like please throw some money uh yeah USBC like it's a genius of this decade and it still has the auxiliary in excellent that guy, there's a sensor so when you take them off your music ports for you and a cool gesture if you cover the right ear cup um, it will activate the ambient noise so if you are on the train and need to know when your stop is Skype that boom you can hear where you are so they are cheaper Better built better microphone better noise cancellation but what about the sound ?
So here's HD 600 again, it's our arbiter. What about Sony? There's a lot of bass that's already a big mound and then instead of fading like I expected, it becomes a shelf that says top end. much better, oh it's just that you see a lot of bass, these are much better than the Beats if you ask me, just because the top end is much better represented, there is still no particularly wide sound and it is great for travel headphones, They have a hump there because, like the bass gets lost on public transport, the crude engines all ruin the music but the noise cancellation is so good that they even specifically focused on bass noises.
I played drums with these on and couldn't believe how much noise it was canceling out and the kick drum with the floor tom sounded like pancakes because all the bass was gone it was amazing so when I see a bass like this it's like they were covering up something as if they were anxious that it would not be enough when they did their best. noise canceling I've heard so far, honestly it's the best noise canceling I've heard so far and I feel like they've messed it up a bit. I mean, listen quickly to the foreigner, there's a lot of bass, it makes the treble seem really quiet, but it's when you listen to it, the treble is much better than the Beats.
I really prefer them, because they are too bassy for me. In the Sony app, you may like the equalizer a little bit, but in my experience, most headphones sound better when they're just being themselves and when you add those restrictions to them, I don't know, Sony should have done it that way, if the people would like more bass, you can add them. I always find it works better to be able to add bass instead of taking it away. away uh a little more complaining the touch controls you know they kind of suck to be honest you should be able to swipe and tap like they say it's in the middle but I find the game stops down here and this is a dig really mean. but Sony is just kings of this, what kind of name is wh-1000 xm4?
You will notice. I haven't called them that in all this time because I don't want to say that bit. No one is going to write that if you're just casually talking to someone thuggish fellow traveler, have you heard of the wh Dash 1000 xm4s haven't you, Kevo? I've never heard of the wh-1000xm4s, well that's a shame mate. I'm definitely looking into my wh-1000xm4s or my recommendation on the Beats companion. pick up the wh slash 1000xm4s, well that's true mate, if I wasn't beholden to my Pokey addictions and then maybe I'd have to get some uh HC um Dash 20 uh xm.com and a little punch on the nose.
I have a pair of bluetooth headphones that I use. I prefer wired headphones for the most part. I'm just old school that way. I can deal with that, but my AKG k845s came out in 2013. They are much better in every way. The way they're wider, like the top ends, the better, the bass is easy, it's got this beautiful light. Ah, you just get more of everything. No, there is no active noise cancellation, but I think these headphones are much better than all of these combined. made of metal and like oh oh wait kg, why did Samsung have tobought you and you just put your name in beans?
I happen to be looking for a better pair of wireless headphones than these and these are in competition with how good the noise cancellation was, but even so these still seal pretty well and I actually preferred to use them even with the air conditioning on and like a fan blowing in my face and the television in all those things with which they could have obtained advantages. I still prefer them when you have so much bass, then everything sounds boomy, you know, with these there's like normal bass, then you get to the sub bass where you feel like it's big, so there's layers and depth, whereas all this bass sounds boomy. the moment when it's like adding too much sugar to a cake it's like, oh, it makes it better, but then it becomes almost sickeningly sweet at some point look, I'm being really harsh about this, it's like when I taught my students who were so close , I was getting very picky because they are that close, they were so close, let's take the AKG forms where you can't buy them, rest in peace AKG, thank you for nothing but Samsung, see if I take my hat off audio files and I look at all of these.
I recommend them, hell yes. making the noise cancellation is amazing, really amazing, you can fix that base, but I know honestly that many of you are probably going to really like it. I'm a jaded Jazz honors graduate and a slash audiophile musician, damn it, and with my three music degrees, it's obvious why we like the bass so much, it's the only instrument that beats harmony and rhythm, the bass rules the band you know and does that job one note at a time no wonder we like to hear more so go for the money and what you get everything and the final package you see I totally recommend it , these guys were never into this honestly, I was just listening to them on the akgs all the time and every once in a while we go, oh let's have another try with the beats with their brittle look and no, these sound so simple they're not too low, they're not much of anything, they're just perfectly mediocre, they're not worth $450 that's for sure, they were the cheapest, they felt the cheapest.
It sounds like it's the most expensive though, even those akgs were cheaper back in the day, but if these are also an accessory then I honestly can't judge. I'm into the motorcycle and car scene, right? Do you know why you spend? Hello dad, look at these new ones. The wheels and my Toyota Corolla were fifteen hundred dollars, son, what was up with the old wheels? They weren't round enough for you, no dad, but look, they weren't completely sick, these are completely sick, dad, come on, 1500 dollars, bargain with water, okay, are they? nice circuit, so if you like the look of them and they fit well and you are perfectly compatible with the sound.
Hobbies don't have to make sense, I won't judge, but I will look at it as a piece of audio equipment and Technology, they suck, they absolutely suck, these tattered headphones, cheap, feeling like everything is disgusting, micro USB buttons like perfectly out of the day , as you know, 440 reduced, dude, uh, I'd probably pay like 180. These are cheaper and better in every way. Samsung released your grip. from sweet sweet AKG, we don't want the beans man, oh and a quick one to you guys, you call me Apple Fanboy, look at this Apple Inc, that's right, Apple is responsible for the Beats, so here's this, hey, Apple, your Beats suck, hey.
I'm biased, but that's all. Thanks so much for looking. I really appreciate many thanks to my clients. Specialties, stinking names right here, buddy, a dollar a month. I make bonus videos, although this week everyone got a bonus video because I also got a video covering these. best worst headphones I've ever used this is live right now for everyone to see it's just a regular event although that being said I'm still doing sponsor after show and what I'm doing this week is I'm going to talk about this iPad . I'm going to tell you what the hell, why it's here, what it's about, so all that will be revealed, man, and thank you very much.
I'll see you all next time, you stink, Frank, where are you? the server there, uh, what are you going to do about it? Literally nothing. Oh, it seems so, not the workers, there's nothing I can really do about it, mate.
