I bought a FAKE golf club from WISH......SHOCKING RESULTSFeb 27, 2020
a taylormade m6 driver will set you back about 400 quid well i
boughtone online which cost me 150 quid let me explain, in the last few months i have been asked to buy and review a
wish.com now i'll be honest i never had heard of
wish.com so i went online to find the website once i was there i searched for
golfequipment hundreds and thousands of
clubs appeared for sale and everything from scotty cameron putters to taylormade irons , even the new tiger irons were on sale now something may be fishy because everything was unbelievably cheap I came across a TaylorMade M6 driver now to put this in perspective a new one at the moment costs £400 to buy well this one in wish was £152 including shipping so I thought I had to order one now.
I'll be honest. He wasn't sure if he would make it. I was suspicious of the website, well two weeks later it's here so apparently wrapped up in this Bim bag. above with the tape is the M6 driver TaylorMa Now the alarm bells ring immediately because all the clubs I have delivered are delivered in a box mainly for protection and this comes in a slim bag and it has come all the way from Hong Kong it took two weeks to get there oh i'm not sure in this bim bag is there going to be an actual M6 driver or is there going to be something dodgy about it is it going to have the right head is it going to be an adjustable head driver is it going to have a head cover is the shaft not only is it going to be one piece it's a good shaft and the grip is going to be decent I'm so intrigued what's inside this garbage bag let's open it up and discover a strange piece I still haven't taken my head cover off .
It has a head cover. My suspicions are definitely high about this head covering. It doesn't seem genuine so far. Let's see what's underneath and if there are any small marks. and if I just did that but look there's two or three in there that have little dash marks on the head cover that has a wrench on it though that's a bonus right? What's underneath is a Taylor net M6 driver oh I'm not sure there's any tape on it at least it's got shielding it's not really a custom made M6 driver not even a little bit oh that's such a driver
fakethe text is all off there's some sort of weight ports here on the back that aren't genuine check this out apparently your speed injected ports aren't they're just painted on there's actually no port there oh my gosh it's a complete and total
fakedriveshaft again this is not the original shaft and again the text looks terrible it says it's a stiff leg I can't tell but it looks a bit more weak than what uh what a stiff let me check the grip because one of the things you can tell with a fake Club is the grip and you know what you can really tell is the smell of a grip yeah that's a grip fake that smells horrible for £152 i bought myself a fake TaylorMade M6 driver that is s Hock that makes every Club in there suspect every Club in there must be a fake no doubt to me this is a fake driver but that's how it works in performance, let's take it to the golf course and hit it, let's go to the launch monitor. lets hit it with some strong Pro v1s let's see if it breaks or if after that performance is good I'll also test it against an actual M6 controller to see what this can do or if it was just a complete and not a waste of money ok ok, we're out on the golf course with a genuine M6 and the fake M6.
Let me show you a few things. This is the genuine M6. The head cover has a more orange tint than the fake. It has a redder finish and the stitching on the genuine is much fuller than the fake and also that huge gap is a huge telltale sign. I must admit you have to get both of them up close next to each other to really identify the differences in the head covers the fancy both feel really good quality then we looked at the heads now i have to give credit to driving the fake looks very similar you have to know what you're looking for to really identify the fake one now obviously i'm testing clubs all the time so i can tell which one is a fake.
This here is the real one. The details are much more. one there's just a few little noticeable features that aren't that sharp or perfect but again to the untrained eye it's hard to spot and this is the most important one to me check this out this is the speed injected rotary ports here on the face that just colored in they're not even real ports we're here on the genuine controller they're real ports in the face where they inject the speed foam to improve performance also shaft wise this is fine they don't even do this shaft this is fabuki exclusive to TaylorMade well that's not t sorry because they don't actually make that shaft where it's obviously a genuine dangerous smoke shaft but what does it do with performance?
Will it break or can it compete with a real one I have on the GC quad? I'm going to hit the real one first to get some reference numbers and I'm going to hit the fake M6 first let's give the real one a hit ok so the real deal let's give it a hit oh yeah right that's it genuine M6 driver made um i love to hit it what i remember a lot about fighting is the feel of the face it has that real dead sound because of the carbon crown it is forgiving it is also long it is just very well balanced numbers i was going for 285 yards with 162 miles an hour ball speed and 2 100 spin so he's absolutely on the money and even off-center hits you could say he gave forgiveness he's a very good driver so let's see how he compares to the 152 pound baked so here we go. fake M6 now just a little Checker this is the wrench tha It came with it no mark the stick has come unstuck but it actually works it actually pulls the shaft out and you can see to be fair it almost looks like an adapter genuine, has the low standard.
The height goes up and down. for two degrees I'm going to keep it at the standard Loft at nine degrees and I'm going to keep it on this axis I think it's important to keep it on this axis I'm not going to put the expensive on it because that's not a truer fair test that's how I bought this controller is how it's supposed to work now sitting behind the ball tell you what's weird first thing i can say it looks like it has more loft than nine degrees in the head it looks like it's showing me more of the face.
I don't normally see those red dots on the bottom and I do on this controller and also this is something to really look out for and in a weird way it might help hook shot a little bit if I take you out a bit and show you this angle here Is very flat shaft so the neck here comes out super super flat um not very convincing at all let's smack it I'm interested to know what the numbers look like. I am interested in seeing what forgiveness is and as I said. if it actually supports the whole hip, it's also a heavier head, not a good head feeling, right?
Oh here we go, the cheap, the fake driver, how's he doing? So the first thing to consider is the sound. It's ridiculously different. It sounds like a drag. it can because it's not a true carbon head, it's literally a tin head that sounded gross. Do I know some numbers? that ball is lost oh my god it was such a bad cold hit but it's like he's not blaming me because I just broke it with the genuine one. minus a full fairway right com Looking at these numbers, this is crazy once you change it to 225 yards carry distance and a four thousand eight hundred turn.
I feel like I'm a bit of a joke in this hole right now. People are probably looking at me. going this guy is supposed to be a good player yeah I'm carving him out of bounds that's ridiculous so it's two shots and the clubhead has started to rattle can you hear the neck has almost gone released, right? I wonder if I can break it on the third shot the numbers are horrible the driver feeling is disgusting oh I'm not sure what's going to happen here I'm too sure it's literally going nowhere 240 yards is 50 more yards short than normal just try and quantify that for a minute less 50 yards to the right I'm not going to hold back here now I'm going to give it one more hit I think it's fair to say this controller is absolutely horrendous it doesn't work it's not worth £150 from anyone money because it's already literally broken after a few shots I'm going to hit that hard I'm not going to hold back we're going to break this look look at that look at the neck indeed the screw has come out the screw has left the driver's dead guys I think the moral of the story If it's too good to be true, it probably is. to come if you enjoyed the video make sure to like subscribe to the channel and see you next time and that's what i think of that controller anyone want to buy a second hand M6 controller
