Feb 27, 2020
This $35 ultra-fast camera PC USB stick promises to turn any PC, including this old Raspberry Pi, also included here, into a blazing-fast

gaming

computer and today we're going to take a look at how misleading this ad really is. , so it's one of My viewers recommended it and of course I'll put their comment here, but basically they recommended this beautiful piece, it's not actually the website and said, "You know, you should definitely check it out because what it advertises is complete ". isn't accurate, so what all this seems to really do is it gives you a bootable USB stick that you can use to run lightweight Linux and boot from, and so the whole basis of this operation is basically selling USB sticks of sixteen gigabytes and upload them.

There are free versions of Linux with free Linux, of course, Linux is free, in most versions you load the free version, there are many free Linux distributions and then you buy the USB sticks, which are sixteen years old, but your sticks are almost like now they're down to about five bucks so they're walking away with a solid $30 profit and they're advertising that it has incredible speed for

gaming

, which I don't know what the first idea that comes to mind is when you think. amazing speed for gaming but this wouldn't be one of them, a USB stick, it really just depends on what computer you have for browsing the internet, watching videos and downloading so I didn't want to point out something very fast that I actually checked and researched. the ability to do this and I actually ordered it a couple of weeks ago and I want to point out the fact that after doing this I made sure not to click on anything other than like promotional emails or anything else. of these is because you placed an order from an additional PC.

More Interesting Facts About,

i bought a 35 gaming pc in a usb drive and got a surprise instead...

Let's go through the list here. Well, Steam we don't want Steam, so we got a security card and they pretty much not only sell you a product that is very misleading, they literally review it. and spam your email with everything like it's not going to turn it on, so when did I check it? It's January 10th, you see, it's the 31st and almost every day I get spam email from this company and I always said I can unsubscribe and all that, but who knows if you know well that they already have my information now and that Each of these personal emails probably earns them more than they receive from the entire USB business combined. so this is literally the most annoying part of this video.

I just had to say I'm sorry oh my gosh I didn't even check my promotion side look at this later literally after I got this no we have literally more spam emails than I have. I haven't even been through that oh my god and these are fake products selling fake Apple headphones oh my god so here it is and first I want to apologize. I'm sick with something. I'm not really sick, just my voice. It sounds like complete rubbish so I apologize but I'm still going to record this video because I got it in the mail and it's a lot of fun so here we are we have a USB stick that promises to be a gaming PC let's look it up I haven't checked this still and the bubble wrap itself is probably worth a penny and within what we get really the question is if this is worth 30 dollars, then what do we have here?
i bought a 35 gaming pc in a usb drive and got a surprise instead
What do we have here? If we have requirements, we have a laptop or notebook manufactured in 2007 or later with a 64-bit CPU. I don't think the processor is like that. So what is this? It's a 16 gigabyte cruiser blade, so it's a little USB stick with a label that has an extra PC right now, this USB stick, if I had to guess, will probably cost you. I'm high end, probably over eight dollars, so they charge us $35 to put up a free Linux distro and the eight dollars we're paying for this USB

drive

now for 16 gigabytes, big

surprise

.
I wouldn't be

surprise

d, based on the evidence provided, if we've received spam emails since purchasing this, but this feels busy too. with wear and tear and I wouldn't be surprised now, I know there's not much you can get on Linux, it's surprisingly bloatware, but if I had to guess and this has blower, okay, so let's go over these system requirements. You have to make sure your computer is running on Windows, navigate to so wait. You must have Windows already installed. You must have Windows 10 installed. Oh, and some of the things it advertises speed up your old computer.
More than 200,000 units use an additional PC. or additional customers in today's episode of two thousand two hundred thousand people have made a big mistake. I don't know, wasted money. I don't know the whole life of a new computer or the old new life of old computers, yeah, let's see if I can get this. To start, I'm going to go see if I can find an old laptop or something. How the hell is this? Yeah, I'm curious to see how much these things actually cost. Give me a second. Oh no, sorry. These things cost six dollars. at $35 these guys literally got xxx, so what's the point today?
Well, the point of the day is that this is a scam, let's see what's under the sticker. I'm curious if they even removed the logo, the SanDisk logo, oh no they didn't. Even remove the sand, it's low, it's still there, so they actually just put in what you're paying $30 for a sticker and some packaging and a free Linux distro, so let's see what this free Linux distro is like. I'm interested to see what they include here and what they don't include here, so let me try to install this. Actually, let's start booting it into the test system.
I think I have it working. Do I have a test system? Let's put it into this. computer this computer already has Windows installed I think I could have moved it to Linux. Should I don't know we'll figure it out so this is how to start using additional PCs we've inserted the USB stick um and we're Basically we're going to do this now so what we need to do is what this tells us to do is basically select the boot

drive

and everything we have, oh my god, oh boy, yeah, oh look at these pictures. - look at these pictures they include, it's literally so bad how this is done that they literally just took their phone and took a picture of the screen for these with screenshots, oh my god ok guys this is probably a mistake, is it? what exactly are they?
They are doing well here, they are practically revising and advertising a little. I think this will be some Linux distribution, a lightweight version, probably loaded with your favorite money-making software distributions, our adware bloatware whatever you want to call it, and basically what they do is they sell you the USB stick, a six dollar USB stick, with the time it takes to load and install the operating system there, and then they sell it to people for an extremely high market value. now if you really wanted to replicate some of this, I like this on your own, you can take any USB stick, you could just put in a text file like how to install it and find the latest Linux distro you can get.
I know Debian was really good when raspbian was a big thing. I know that when Raspberry PIs first came out they were very popular. I think the raspbian version, so let's look at the boot parties, oh boy, it's all set up, let's save. a way out, yay, yay, yay, so now when raspbian was a big thing on the Raspberry PI, it was basically a Linux distribution that was extremely lightweight built for the Raspberry PI because obviously the first John only had one kernel, so which you were practically stuck. with everything you could get and obviously it was slow but it was optimized for the hardware and what I feel like is that they just picked one of them, they probably just googled what the optimized Linux distribution is and pretty much just copied and pasted it into this USB .
I drove around and spent probably like three cents on some marketing and some actual paper and Wow, they probably put yeah, it looks like they put a fancy logo on there and a start menu and yeah, Wow, let you know how impressed I am, so the big question we all want to know though is does this advertise being a blazing fast gaming computer with blazing speed, or at least promise an everlasting computer with blazing fast gaming speeds, let's see if I set this up yeah , this is like a bun, this is me. I'm definitely putting a bun on it - vibe, yes, it's a yes, I'm definitely going to hedge my bets, it's an older version of Ubuntu and also the password, oh yeah, let's do the classic one. two three four five six log in automatically because you guys can't tell how much I'm going to use this and yeah, listen definitely bun - a very old version - oh oh no, this will be extremely old version or I don't understand what it is because I didn't think this out a problem how many how many files do you need to install yeah oh boy yeah it's definitely a pain that's when I get the feeling like yeah I think that's really the best way to describe what they did here and they just said hmm you have a slow PC, let's go over and put a band-aid on it and pretty much eliminate the stress that operating systems put on there, so if you still want to come in and play anything here, you're going to have a lot of fun because it's still going to suck, so what are we doing here?
Oh there we go, a new bloatware was somewhere in here. I knew it, I knew it. I knew that well, so here we go, so it pretty much gives you some options to install selected apps automatically. Now some of these I definitely think are necessary, for example we have Meteor media codecs, we also have some media players. I don't know if I picked that one and the one with the drum machine, but some of these are pretty cool. This first one seems pretty standard, and then the next one is the license terms, so it's like licensed licenses for the drum machine VLC media player and it's like Google Chrome audio codecs, okay, then connect to the Internet when you check the Internet, yes, this is a very old version of Ubuntu, there you go.
I have a place in the money bun at 18 points, oh, four point two, so a money bun two is not even a super light version of Linux, there are lighter versions. I would say well, yeah, Ubuntu, there's not much bun tube. I think I'm actually seriously worried about my next PC just to do all the video editing stuff because it's relatively lightweight, they also took a default version of a bun and put that sucker on your favorite little PC, added some backgrounds and some images custom and stuff, and yeah, that's all they did, so the big question is really since I can't.
I really do a lot with this other than I don't know, we can try to stop Minecraft here, but I don't know if I trust that because I know that Minecraft will run fine on the hardware I have, it's already decent hardware. I have two universities, but the point is that what they are advertising here is a really, I don't know, shady way of doing things, they do it pretty well, I don't seem to see any bloatware in the Actually, let's get to the apps. Do I have any application here? There's really nothing here, I mean, they've installed LibreOffice, but there's nothing here that really screams low, but what worries me is the fact that all the email is already there.
The word I received when I saw this product was crazy. Also, what they advertise is something that can speed up old computers. Well, yes, in some circumstances it can, actually, especially if you moved from a lighter distribution. Linux for this is really shady and not necessarily true, all this does is

instead

of making your PC run faster, maybe by optimizing the BIOS settings or having an overclocking profile, you know, I don't know, that It would be really cool, actually, a USB stick. Automatically overclocks your PC for you. I need to have so much BIOS support that it wouldn't even be worth it, but no, they just take what your OS is and don't take what you already have and make it faster, change it and I think having to install a different OS doesn't do it. that Windows is faster, that's a bit misleading, so to answer your question, is this a scam?
Yes, it's definitely very misleading and yes, false advertising, so thank you all so much for watching, have a nice day.
