addict. Seriously, I could eat hummus every day. It is very tasty, very healthy for you. Anyway, it's

easy

to make at home. That being said, today we are going to make four

different

hummus

using

four

different

types of

beans

. Friends, this is going to be like a hummus showdown. We are going to make the classic garlic with chickpeas. -Mexican inspired hummus

using

pinto

beans

and olive tapenade hummus using kidney beans and we're going to wrap it all up with a roasted pepper white bean hummus friends this is going to be so much fun let's dive into our first ever hummus recipe .

We're making a classic garlic hummus with chickpeas. This is the most traditional hummus out there, it has the most beautiful texture and flavor and is made with just a handful of ingredients. I'm going to start by adding a jar of cooked chickpeas to a strainer and rinsing them under cold running water, this is 570 grams which is exactly 20 ounces. Once the chickpeas are well rinsed I will add them to a food processor for the next ingredients, I will add two generous tablespoons of tahini paste this is what gives the hummus that beautiful traditional flavor. If you don't have tahini paste, you can substitute peanut or almond butter, although the flavors won't be exactly the same.

I'm also going to add two teeth. of garlic that I cut into pieces, a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. I'm going to transfer this to a shallow bowl, add a splash of extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with some freshly chopped parsley. Guys, our first hummus recipe is ready, seriously, look how beautiful it turned out. They have that beautiful thick and creamy texture, like I told you before. If you want it to be a little creamier, just add a little more cold water while it's in it.

Guys food processors, this hummus is authentic, the most traditional, very

easy

to make, much better than store bought products, make it at home, it will become your favorite hummus for our second hummus recipe. We are making a text. Mexican hummus made with pinto beans, this hummus tastes amazing and has a nice spicy kick, again made with very simple ingredients but when you combine them you get an absolute flavor bomb. I'm going to start by adding one. jar of cooked pinto beans in a colander and rinse under cold water. It's very important to do this step like we did in the first one to remove the preservatives from the beans and again this is 570 grams which is exactly 20 ounces once the beans.
They are well rinsed, I will transfer them to a food processor for the next ingredients, I will add two generous tablespoons of tahini paste, a clove of garlic that I cut in half, half a teaspoon of spicy smoked Spanish paprika. it's what gives it that beautiful heat half a teaspoon of cumin powder 1 tablespoon of fresh cilantro 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil I'm going to season everything with sea salt and a little freshly ground black pepper and I'm going to run the food processor on low speed so that all of these ingredients can come together.
Once they come together, I'll add 1/3 cup cold water and once again we'll do this with three of us. to four minutes, this is enough time for all the ingredients to come together that way, we end up with a beautiful creamy hummus. After four minutes, I'll turn off the food processor and check out that beautiful creamy texture. This looks incredibly delicious. I'm going to transfer this to a shallow bowl, drizzle it with a little extra virgin olive oil, some freshly chopped cilantro, and a pinch of smoked sweet Spanish paprika. Guys, our second hummus is ready, seriously, look how beautiful this one turned out, this one has a very creamy texture. and it has beautiful flavors, the spicy smoked Spanish paprika gives it a nice touch, try it, you will be surprised, it is very easy to make and comes together in a matter of minutes, moving down the list to our third hummus recipe, we are making olive tapenade . hummus with red beans this hummus has such a beautiful creamy texture and so many mediterranean flavors this is where the meat hummus with olive tapenade for a truly amazing burst of goodness.
I'm going to start by adding a jar of cooked kidney beans to a colander and rinse them under cold running water once again, this is 570 grams which is 20 ounces. For these ingredients to come together like that we can end up with a beautiful creamy hummus after about four minutes. I'll close it and once again check out that beautiful creamy texture. This seems crazy. I'm going to transfer this to a shallow bowl. Add a splash of extra virgin olive oil to a couple of olives to decorate and a pinch of freshly chopped parsley. Take a look. Our third plate of hummus is ready. This one here promises to be one of the best hummuses you've ever tried. Seriously, those olives that garlic and those seasonings combined with the kidney beans taste so beautiful.
Do it at home. You won't believe how good it is again made with very basic ingredients and was prepared in a matter of minutes. Well, we come to the fourth and final hummus recipe we saved one of the best for last we are making a white bean hummus with roasted pepper. This promises to be one of the best hummus you'll ever try. An amazing creamy texture and beautiful flavors. I'm going to start by adding a jar of cooked navy beans to a colander and rinse them again with cold water, this is 570 grams which is 20 ounces and again, it's very important to rinse the beans before adding them to a food processor, that way It will remove all preservatives.
Once the white beans are well rinsed, I will add them to a food processor for the next ingredients, I will add two generous tablespoons of tahini paste again. This is the creamiest hummus of the four. If you want yours to be a little thicker, add a little less water but with the white. beans, it works perfectly like this. I'm going to transfer this to a shallow bowl, drizzle it with a little extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of sweet smoked Spanish paprika, and sprinkle it with some freshly chopped parsley. Our fourth and final hummus dish is seriously done. one has the creamiest texture ever and pairs so well with those white beans and as far as flavors go you have those roasted red peppers combined with that sweet smoked Spanish paprika together it's an absolute explosion of goodness guys, once again made with the most basic ingredients and it came together in a matter of minutes and that's it, the four hummus are ready, you saw each one very easy to make.
They are all made with very basic ingredients, but the flavors of each of these hummus will completely surprise you. Prepare them at home.
