How To: Sew using a Speedy Stitcher

Pass it through the slot of the quick stitcher and out through the hole in the front. Now set the needle straight by aligning the needle slot with the speed stitcher slot. Now replace the cap by passing the thread through the center. Be careful not to pinch. the thread when you screw on the cap pull the thread to make sure it unravels from the bobbin and moves freely now take the thread pass it through the eye of the needle watch the thread press directly into the needle slot pull the thread back so that it comes out about a half inch from the eye of the needle, but first I'd like to point out that for larger projects the small spool doesn't hold as much thread as you normally need, so I like to use the whole roll.

Thread that through the center of the speed stitcher, so now we have all the thread we need for this demonstration. We will use a small, thin piece of leather. You will want to press the needle through the starting point so that the thread goes through and you want to pull enough length for the entire project. Take out the needle. It should look like this. Now press the needle back into the given sewing space. Press all the way and then slowly pull the needle back. To reveal a loop on the side of the needle opposite the slot, now take the thread and simply pass it through the loop, pull out the needle and tighten the two threads to lock the stitch.

Now we simply repeat this process for the entire project. in your last stitch you need to lock the seam so it doesn't come loose, you will press the needle one last time and when you form the loop instead of pulling out the needle you will grab the loop. and remove as much excess as you can by at least a few centimeters. Now take some scissors. Cut the thread close to the side of the needle. Now you can take out the needle and set it aside at the last stitch. There you should have two threads on the same side. side by side, an easy way to finish the strands is to tie a knot like a square knot, my personal favorite method, which works for most projects, they call it welding, you take your scissors and cut each strand so they stick out about three millimeters.
