Hello welcome back to call the clutter fairy where I help you free yourself from clutter so you can live stress free as you can see I have a new area for my office I have talked excessively about flooding but today I am not going to do a I am going to do a video on the highly requested thing to do with

, so come on, I'll explain what I did, but I tried a couple different methods. There are these amazing envelopes that can The problem is that they are a little expensive, they cost between two and four dollars each and, if you are like me, you have several colors, so they would have added up very quickly and they were also very difficult to find I went to Joanne's I went to Michael's I went to Hobby Lobby I even went online and you can buy them online but it doesn't guarantee you'll get the clear ones which is what I wanted and I definitely didn't want to be sent random colors so I went with the very cheap option which was simply getting sheet protectors from scrap

I opted for sturdy ones. I went to Joanne's. By the way, I used my coupon if not. Don't know. Hobby Lobby Michaels and Joanne accept each other's coupons, so you never have to pay full price for anything. Everyone will accept each other's coupons, so at least one of them always offers 40% off, hence the package I got. I said 36 pieces and got excited thinking there were 36 of these mm-hmm buyer beware. I should have read which meant there were 13 protectors and two white pages in each anyway, so luckily it was enough for me to do my colors. and all I did was label each one and in the little tutorial I'm about to do I show you exactly what I do, but I'm very happy with the end result, so I was able to remove the shine.

how to organize 12x12 paper scraps...

I had these tabs left over from when I bought my boxes a year ago, so don't be mad I can't duplicate them, but it's a pretty easy template to cut out if you want to make something like this, but I've saved the little outside decorative pieces. knowing that eventually I would want to make something and here it turns out that this is what the before looks like and here is the after and I'm very happy with this so in each color I have all the other solids behind it in the 12 by 12 pieces and inside I can grab the piece I want before I destroy any of the new pieces, so let's take a look, this is what I'm going to try and use these are just 12 by 12 sheet protectors instead of where they are the paper goes like this.

I'm going to turn it over so the paper goes in on the side and I'm going to use the area that would normally go in the binding section of my scrapbook and label there, so my goal is that these sheet protectors will hold the dividers that I already have. I have, so I bought this package. The good thing is that it comes with white paper inside two sheets each. I always use white paper, so okay, let's start showing you how I can do this. So I have two different types of labels, they are both 1 by 5, 8, 1 by 2 and 5/8, one is clear and the other is white and I just wanted you to see the difference.

I actually bought them at Big Lots, but you can get them online at Amazon, you can get them at Walmart Target, they're pretty universal, they're just standard address size labels and I'm going to try this two ways, so I printed them out, like this It's what the transparent ones look like. They look a little less pigmented, but that's just because of the way it prints there, but I think it's a little pretty once you put it on something white, but the nice thing is that's how you don't. I don't see the white labels if you don't want them to be white, however they turn out really bright and easy to see, which is what I like.
I think I'm going to use them and actually take the time to cut these labels out and slide them on. inside to match the theme of my office, so I'm afraid if you ask me where I got them, my answer will be that they came from my boxes last year. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be too difficult if you have a cricket or a silhouette to make these, let me open one up because I have a lot of extras. Mine already comes with the double sided tape, but it's just a little triple. Yes, that's what I thought. a tiny little triptych, they have a lot of little glue dots here, so if you wanted to make a template of that, it wouldn't be hard to mark it out, make the opening the size you wanted and then just fold it. up so it becomes a tab that you can attach to the item, so this is what I'm going to use for mine, but I'll show you what it looks like by putting a sticker here that's clear, a white sticker and then I do what I'm doing , which is just putting my little tag here and now I use them as dividers.
One thing I do want to say is that they are a little flimsier than what I would normally have used as a divider, so definitely keep one or two of these here if you're worried I'll keep them in one, but I want to make sure all my

scraps

are in front of it so I can easily see if I have any of those. cuts in advance, so I'm going to cut my labels here. You don't need to see me do this. I'm sure everyone knows how to play with their cutter, but I just want to show you real quick that these are for the labels that I.
I'm going to slip into these covers. You don't have to do this if you just stick them straight on, but obviously if I take off the back they won't slide into the little sleeve anymore, so I have to take 30 seconds and just cut me, so I'm going to put them on loosely. I won't go too crazy because it's perfect and I'm just going to use this as a Ripper. There's the first one. I think it will look super cute. and clean and then I'll be consistent so since this is usually meant to be the side but I'm using it as the top I want to make sure I always use the pocket that will open on the same side so if you're right handed you'll want that face it to the right side, if you're left handed you'll want it to be on your left hand, so I'll do it this way and attach this to you.
You can do whatever you want as far as adhesive goes with this. I might use a little bit from my glue gun just because it's super fast and sticky and I might take some masking tape and go over it to keep it clean, but this is what it's going to look like. so my cutouts are just going to go to the side here, so let me just adhere them all together and I'll show you what it looks like when I'm done. Here's another dumb tip. I'm a little anal OCD whatever you want to call it. If I'm lining something up, I always want to make sure I put it in the same place so it looks cleaner to me, so I always leave one of the things that I've already glued down. that while I'm making the next label I can just line it up.
I don't make a loop, ruler or anything you can do and if not being perfectly aligned isn't important to you then just consider this part. Alright, here's what the transparent labels look like. They're not my favorite if it was crystal clear and mixed in with this. I would probably like it more, but you know, this doesn't have to be expensive, so if this is what you have lying around, that's wonderful, here it's just the white address labels for me. I think they look a lot better, it's brighter, it's easy to see, so that would probably be the one I would choose if I didn't have the leftover lashes from my boxes that I bought last year because these are probably my favorite.
I think they look very nice and clean. I put shipping tape on top so they are protected from dust and fingerprints, so those are your options. Don't be afraid to go to the Dollar Tree and check what labels they have, so at this point I've been using a binder. I think you guys saw that before and I was keeping all my drafts just inside pages like this and that. It was okay, it really was, except when I was looking up craft tricks for you guys, I saw the girl who kept her scraps with a solid sheet of paper and I thought, oh my god, that's so clever, so I'm going to take this apart. , so fortunately my job.
It's almost done because here is the paper from my online scrapbook. I doubt. Of course, I love the aesthetic of things that look really stylish and clean like this. I love being able to immediately see these wraps that I have for the black and then behind. all the black papers, the same way, I can immediately check my blue and see my cutouts and then I have my solid paper, so inside each sleeve are my cutouts and then the solid, so I'm really happy with the way that looks and shape. This is working, the only thought I have is that I'll probably take out the divider when I go scrapbooking or when I'm making cards, so inside my box I just took a little piece of foam core and that way when I take it out ooh, that It probably made such a horrible sound that when I take out my divider I don't lose where my spot is, it's one of those old librarian tricks from when I was a kid in school, but that way I can just open it.
Put it back in, yes you can go through your papers and find out where it goes but I just wanted a little shortcut so if you want a shortcut to the foam core you can get it at the dollar tree or the 99 cent store which also I put. a couple of pieces behind each section so my paper wouldn't bend. I don't know if yours does that, but I got rid of a lot of paper and didn't want it to curl, so I put little pieces at the bottom of each section. one and that is to keep it very high.
I don't know if you can see that it's very upright and very clean and that way I can still examine it the way I want. Thank you very much for requesting this. You know it was something I had. I planned to do it alone on my own and it was very exciting for me to see so many of you asking how to do it, so instead of taking an afternoon - lalalalala listening to music and eating chips while I did it, it was really fun for me to show you step by step. step and ways they can duplicate this.
