The first step to creating a luxurious looking bed is to purchase the right sheets so that a luxury bed is not only about the look of things, but also about the look. with comfort, so not all sheets are created equal and I'm going to tell you my favorite most

affordable

sheets in the world. My favorite sheets are from the wham sutta collection at Bed Bath and Beyond. The website was acquired by Bed Bath and Beyond for many years. ago and their sheets are phenomenal now they have two styles of sheets that I want to talk to you about today so today I'm trying these out they're their satin sheets and they're on sale right now for just five dollars so you've probably seen that They're only 350 thread count so this will be my first time trying them and I usually buy sheets with higher thread counts because they tend to be more comfortable, but I think these sheets are 100% Egyptian cotton which is fantastic.

I never want to put polyester on my skin just because I find it very uncomfortable and you want to just slide on your bed and that's why I actually choose satin because it has a very soft and nice feel, you feel like you are like a slippery pillow and I like that a lot so I'm going to use these sheets because they're so affordable, but my favorite sheets are actually also lamb sutta and these are the king stripe pima cotton sheets that are. 500 thread count they come in 500 750 800 and 1000 you can buy any of those and I think these were 69 they are on sale right now but in bed bath and beyond you can always get a 20 off coupon on online and if you are in the bed potty and go membership program you get 20 off each item with every purchase and I think it's 20 a year and it could be more but it's worth it.

I really love it. your sheets, so sheets are a really good way to start the bed because you want something that's comfortable, of course, I love having that luxurious look, but comfort is the most important thing, especially when it comes to your bed, ironing The sheets are really very important. important, I know you're saying, oh, it's a lot of effort, it's important because you get all those folds out and we're going to iron not only our sheets, but I also bake the cover because we want everything to look really nice and crispy, that's what they do in hotels, they can steam them, you can iron them, you could really do that or I'm going to iron them because my steamer is not my friend right now, so now that your sheet, your top sheet is on the bed before we steam it , we've already put it aside so we have some tension and now we're going to do some hospital rooms, so I'm not going to say I'm going to show you how to do it, but I'm going to do it right now.

I'm also going to do this with my quilt. but it's like a nice little fold of luxury that doesn't leave the sheets everywhere and plus the sheets will stay on when you're kicking around all night, come in with

You can see how they made the bed right here. It looks very pretty and refined. It's like a pillow on one side. It has a really nice decoration. I don't know, it just adds a little bit of cleanup. lines, which is exactly what you want on a crisp face, that's what I'm talking about in all my videos on modern design, so that's what you want to do on your bed, if you don't like all white, they have style bedding hotel. in darker colors and you can always skip the hotel bedding and go for a solid color, that's what I would do if you're not willing to do the hotel stitching, so again, this is a comforter so don't I have to worry. over a duvet but when you have a duvet cover you can put one duvet in or you can put two when you put two in it

s it really nice and fluffy so it makes the bed look a little fuller sometimes duvets can look very flat, so this will give it a little life and also make it much more comfortable if you ever sit on your bed, so the next step is to dress it with pillows and blankets so that they don't show.

I don't necessarily do this in hotels because there is a very high turnover, but when you look at luxury stores and homes you always see people covering their beds with pillows, regular pillows, and blankets. I'm going in with this wamsata blanket. and I'm going to use this type of blanket because it's the same color as the border of my comforter and also the same color as my sheets, so I'm sticking with my color scheme, but I'm making those colors pop. which is not just boring and one dimensional, with just white being the color, we have that grayish brown color that appears in different parts of the bed, so when you are making pillows on a bed, you want to make sure that the pillows are to scale, so that this is a king size bed.

Our bed is even bigger than a king size bed, which means I need to use king size pillows. You can't get in there with a standard pillow. We have a spring for the most

expensive

one. you can get them really cheap at ikea if you want a little more bathroom in the bed and beyond, I just press them in very lightly because you know whatever, but what you want to do is open your pillowcase and if you want to put the labels in the pillows down, obviously you can cut them off, but you want to put the labels on the inside so that if the pillowcases slip off, you can sleep soundly without those things scratching your face, so this is what it looks like again.

I buy down pillows because down can fill with air very easily and looks very nice and fluffy, but when you want to sleep on it, it deflates very easily and you can crumple it any way you need to sleep very comfortably. This is a pillow I like to make if I'm not facing the head of the bed. I actually like to make the area with the opening towards the inside of the bed so that it scratches my wife and not me in the middle. night, but it's whatever you want to do, just make sure you tuck the pillow in correctly so nothing has a chance to fall out and it doesn't really matter the direction when it comes to pillows, you can make a lot of different arrangements when you have two pillows stacked on top of each other. the other, that's what they tend to do in more modern houses, in more traditional houses they just have pillows in front of each other, which you can also do my favorite arrangement and the one that makes it more visible. like a hotel or like a bed and breakfast is when you have three or two euro pillows behind your main pillows and then you just have two of your main pillows in front of each other, I think it looks really nice and luxurious, you can't tell . as much background color as you want, but it looks very nice, crisp, clean and elegant, and there are not too many pillows on the bed, so you don't have to worry about throwing them all on the floor when necessary. time to go to sleep and last but not least, if you really want to achieve that hotel feeling, you can add a tray to your bed with fresh flowers, coffee, tea, your books, anything you use for your night routine that looks aesthetically pleasing, you can wear this. at the end of your bed and it's like a nice cozy touch.

You can do this too, especially in guest rooms. I like to do that when people come to visit because I have all the little things they might need at night sitting in this. tray alright guys, that's all for today's video.
