Measure something in your house that is a yard so you can use that, but I bought this at Walmart. You're going to sew it right here the long way around until you get to 14 yards of ribbon that you're going to sew on this side, so when you start to open your tool You're going to have two pieces of tulle, so when you open it you're going to have two pieces. Some people just start sewing one and pull it apart. I like my tool to be spongy and thick, so I leave these two pieces together. This is it and that's it, you won't even see his underwear or diaper underneath. I like, I don't like my tutus to be see-through, so when you open this you'll have two pieces, that is, when you fold this. in half when it's done because you're going to fold this in half like this, you're going to sew a ribbon on this and you're going to sew a ribbon here, so when you fold it in half technically you're going to have four pieces of tulle, two hot , two here and two on this end, but I hope I don't confuse you, okay?

So what you have to do is go and put the corresponding thread of your ribbon into your sewing machine, okay? Basically, I'll put pink thread. I'm going to start sewing along the 14 yards here and then when I'm done, I'm going to sew 14 yards here. Now some people will save the ribbon because remember if I'm sewing 14 yards of ribbon there and 14 yards of ribbon here, that will be 28 yards of ribbon. Some people, to save on ribbon, will just fold this in half and then you'll have four pieces of tulle together like this and then we're going to sew this ribbon all the way around the edge and that way you'll save ribbon and you'll only sew 14 yards of ribbon, not the 28 full, so it's up to you how much volume you want at the bottom of your tutu.

It will still look good at only 14 yards because you are saving tape and it will still look fluffy because it is a lot of tape or you could go the extra mile and be more like me and do both sides and that will also be 28 yards. that will work if you use two colors of ribbon, you can sew a pink ribbon here and you can sew a blue ribbon on top or black and white, whatever you want. Again, one particular client just wants pink on pink. I'm going to go put my matching thread in my sewing machine and then we'll start sewing and I'll show you how it all looks.

I put my foot down. press down and then I have my tape on the floor so while I'm sewing it's going to keep going through there now grab your tool remember it's bent make sure you have two pieces together and you're going to put it on top of your ribbon again no don't get traumatized that everything has to be perfect everyone makes mistakes now you are going to place your tool on the floor you are going to have your two pieces and you are going to put your tool for your two pieces this is the longest way 14 yards remember that we are going to sew 14 yards go to place your tool on top of the tape make sure it's both pieces guys, you need your two pieces I'm going to place it right here and I'm going to line it here now I'm also going to start sewing right here, so I'm going to lift this up, get it there and make sure it sticks.

I'm going to start sewing there and as you sew you're going to line everything up so make sure you hold the two pieces, it's going to be a little difficult because the tool is pink and my ribbon is pink but make sure you have the two pieces and I'm going to hold it and I want to sew right here on the edge, now my daughter is sitting behind me and what she does is she starts cutting the excess tool from here because I don't like having all this. excess, remember I'm going to start sewing right here at the edge, so all this excess tool will be there, she sits behind me with a pair of scissors and starts cutting now, don't forget to lock your stitch, that is , when you start sewing, you're going to go back and forth, back and forth to secure your stitch when you first start and I'm right at the edge of my tape and as you're sewing, make sure you place your two tools. together lining it up with your tape and making sure to try to stay straight and you will continue to do the same process until you are done 14 yards so we are almost at the end when you get to the end of the tool don't forget to do a back stitch to secure your stitch, okay, when you're all the way to the end, then you're just going to take that out, cut the thread and then cut the tape right there and Because it's tape, don't forget to heat seal it with a lighter.

Okay, the 14 yards on one side are done, so now what I'm going to do is pull it all the way, all 14 yards my way and then it was like this the other way around. This is the part that I sold well, so it was backwards like this when I was sewing. Correct approach, it was like this backwards, so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to turn it like this to the right side, this is what it's going to look like to the right side and then this is going to turn to the right side and I'm going to start sew here my ribbon again on this side so this is going to be facing up now I sewed it backwards this is how I was sewing but now I'm going to put it right side up and then I'm going to put my ribbon first on the sewing machine and then my tool and I'm going to start sewing these 14 yards okay same process place the first ribbon design down but like I said mine says it's already double face satin so it will be upside down no matter what both sides are the same, then you're going to put your tool on top remember this is the first one we sold it, it was upside down, then I turned it right side up and you're going to look, I mean, put your two pieces of tulle on, make sure you grab it, place it on top and then you'll start sewing this whole side.

Don't forget to heat seal the ribbon when you first start and then sew back here when you start this. I like to hold this side and just hold these two pieces of tape. I mean, sorry guys, it's late at night when I am. recording this hold ithere hold the hair and I'm holding it here and I'm holding it so I can cut it try to stay straight and I'll start sewing okay so I hold this and make sure I have everything. This together and I'm sewing, then I'll continue 14 yards and again you see my daughter in the background because she's cutting the extra tool and that's what she does for me so I don't have to do it. when it's done, I hold it back here and then I just sew right at the end, don't forget to sew back to secure it, so sew to the end of your tool and you're going to sew back, come back to the front like three times to secure your stitch, then you're going to cut the thread, you're going to cut the tape and you're going to heat seal it with a lighter and then you're done. sew all the ribbon and now our next step is going to be making the little tunnel, the channel whatever you want to call it to put our elastic through, okay, so what I'm going to do is remove all the tools next to me and then this is where you're going to decide if you want them to overlap on top of each other or if you want them to overlap like this so you can see two of them or if you want them like this or like that.

This is up to you wherever you decide to put it, make sure you fold it in half really nicely, arrange all your tools, make sure you have the corresponding thread on your machine for your tool, because this is where you're going to put your uh. Tunnel the elastic through here now, depending on the size of elastic you're using, that's how big you're going to make your stuff. I'm going to mine about 1 inch of the tunnel I'm going into. To use 3 4 elastics that don't roll up, I'll get mine at Walmart, you can get them on eBay and stuff like that, so make sure you fold yours up.

I'll have mine like this and then you go. to place it back under your machine depending on lining it up where you want it and then don't forget to sew back to lock your stitch when you first start so make sure that as you sew you're going to fix how you want this to look and at the same time you're going to make sure it's folded in half nicely, you're going to hold both sides and you're going to sew and as you're sewing make sure that we're arranging everything so you're arranging this how you want it to look and also making sure it's folded in half and you're going to do this until the end and at the end don't forget to go back. stitch to close the stitch, okay, at the end, don't forget to topstitch and then that's it, you're going to cut the spandex and the thread and then you can put away your sewing machine and things like that, clean up your area and then we.

Now your next step is to get some hot glue or fabric glue and get the ends, both ends, grab the bottom ones and put some glue on. I'm going to use fabric glue, you can get this at Walmart Amazon, even at your fabric store, and you're going to grab it, this is facing up, just put a little bit of glue on it and then you're going to grab the other end and I'm going to like turn it over. and paste it.
